Hey now hey now, Console is getting good Ol' Bill
Also RIP anyone that payed big money for a yellow shirt
The one reason to get DBD mobile
There was never any reason for Bill not to be on console anyway, it’s not like Left 4 Dead is a steam exclusive game. Lol

Monstrous Shrine came about at a time when the perk pool, and killer pool was significantly less than now, and survivors were (slightly) more likely to equip Slippery Meat
Speaking of which Slippery Meat could buffs as well.

It's already sufficently dificult to escape the hook. I mean there's a 4% chance to escape, how insecure are you if you need a perk to make it even harder for someone to try and self rescue which for 96% of the time means they're suiciding on the hook.
What are you on about? This change doesn’t have anything to do with the escape chance all it does is take an extra second to free yourself.
-
I agree it should come back. But there were people who would just downvote for no reason so I can see why they did it.
-
I don’t think that’s necessary. Just make the entity block gens for a little longer 16/18/20 seconds.
-
High skill high reward. Hard to play and very rewarding. Without add ons she’s balanced. Most of her add ons aren’t that good anyway.

Maybe they could add a survivor perk that makes greats a little easier to hit?
Not astronomically easier, but something to numb the pain a bit.
And with that being said, SC's are a huge part of this game. Git gud at them, or die! XD
There’s already a perk that does this “This Is Not Happening” and it’s one of the worst perks in the game.
-
They should either increase the hitbox size or make it a cooldown perk instead of an exhaustion perk.
-
Both Resilience & This Is Not Happening need buffs.
-
What are some perks that we can expect to receive balance changes later on? Also what are your thoughts on the balance state of Monstrous Shrine?
-
Well based on the roadmap it looks like Dedicated Servers will go live when the next dlc killer come out. Which kinda bummed me out, I was hoping that it would come out this update.
-
Mostly survivor, Playing Killer can be very stressful, especially in Red Rank.
-
I had an idea for this once, I was thinking a Lycan that could randomly shapeshift into one of the Survivor in game and will even appear holding the same items as them.
-
@Someissues said:
I already saw ppl countering Ghostface on the PTB
yes, that is MOONWALKING, however only skilled survivors can do that
Survivors can’t moonwalk on Console, literally unplayable.😭😭

The issue is that bill is a Steam licensed character and Valve until they allow L4D onto consoles won't allow it sadly. Which is stupid because that's money they're missing out on.
Which is dumb because L4D was the most popular zombie game on the xbox 360.

I thouvht Lightweight reduced the sound of footsteps when I first started playing, why not add that to the current effects?
Either one would be a nice buff. I don’t see why not.
-
Make it a cooldown perk instead of an exhaustion perk. That’s the only thing I’d change. It’s not good enough to be an exhaustion perk it’s too situational, majority of the time when you stun a killer with it is when you let them know where you are and that hints that the survivor is running Head On because why else would they jump into a locker when you see them?

I thought it was put in place because people used to hack unlimited blood points.
Which is irrelevant to anyone who isn’t playing on Pc.
-
I just want to play. 😭😭😥
-
Yep it’s idk why I’ll be waiting long enough to go make a snack and I’ll still be waiting for it to make a lobby.
-
This was intended and kinda needed. It’s currently too loud on the live server, you can’t hear anything over the sound of it.

To end this discussion let us look over the changes to NOED already...
Version 1.0.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/233/Y4ZIOA3ZNGKL.png
There was no counter to the perk similar to adrenaline other than survivors leaving. Similar to adrenaline there is no counter unless the survivor dies.
Noed also had tiered Movement speed and Attack Slowdown buffs. So the killer was not only faster at moving but attacking as well.
Also was not a hex perk.
Version 1.0.5
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/796/NFP1VC6Y6Q2R.png
Nerfed to be on a timer.Buff to start before the gate was opened to being just powered.
Version 1.5.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/608/AHV4A0M2MCRT.png
Buffed to no longer be on a timer.Nerf it is now a hex perk. With a complete counter of dull totems.
Nerf Reduction in Movement Speed.
Version 2.3.0
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/361/AAP9LXQL6O7S.png
Buffed to lower tiers giving exposed.
Nerf Reduction in Movement Speed to lower tiers.
Nerf No Attack Cooldown Reduction now.
In general Noed was 'buffed' at its highest tier once.
Buffed in the lowest tiers once.
Nerfed several times across tiers and given a counter to the perk in general.
It is balanced leave it alone.
Not to mention @Almo above they gave you emblem points for doing totems now which encourages totem breaking. This is a low-key nerf on noed as well. As well as for the person being chased.
Meanwhile we can’t give any changes to Monstrous Shrine, the most forgettable killer perk in the game since day 1. 😥
-
Monstrous Shrine needs a rework more. It’s just as situational but much less impactful.
-
If you can repair 5 gens you can break 5 totems it’s not that hard. I often run Small Game in Red Rank, considering how often Ruin & Noed are used at high ranks it’s worth running and the less perks a killer has, the easier the game is.
-
Adrenaline users: “Am I a joke to you?”
All jokes aside Imo Head On shouldn’t be an exhaustion perk. Just make it a cooldown perk.
-
Depleting Feral Frenzy when you miss a hit seems like a huge penalty when you consider how long it takes for The Legions power to fully recover. What if when you miss a hit instead of it completely draining your power it just takes you out of Feral Frenzy and the recovery starts at however much charge you had left?

I love Lightweight with my Meg's Sprint Burst and Quick and Quiet, so more quiet landing would really be awesome! :D Balanced Landing and Calm Spirit can fit this too.
I was originally going to suggest this to Balanced Landing but I feel like it’s already a good perk.
-
Is it scummy? Yes. However if your team is getting recked and no gens are getting done it’s better if 1 player escapes vs no one.
-
@LordGlint said:
I think it actually fits quite nicely on Lightweight. Afterall, if your light, youd naturally make less noise from falling. Which one are you going to hear if dropped off the 2nd story, a balloon or a bowling ball?
It really fits with the perk and would be a nice buff.
-
DS is balanced, it punishes tunnelers. Hex perks are high risk high reward(some more than others).
If anything they should buff Third Seal and make it to where survivors don’t get notified that the killer has Huntress Lullaby until after you get your first hook.
-
Hag is definitely above Billy
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
Lightweight is actually a pretty good perk right now. It's just underrated. I'd rather put the effect on calm spirit instead.
It just doesn’t feel like it’s worth running when compared to other perks. If it did something else I feel like you’d get much more use out of it.
-
One of the few bugs that I actually hope doesn’t get patched it’s too funny. I think the best bug I’ve experienced is a floating head Myers & Pig chasing you around.
-
I’ve dealt with way more toxic survivors than killers. I have about an even number of time on both.

@Victory said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/68154/lightweight-buff-idea
I personally think instead of reduction from drops, that should be put on Iron will or Calm Spirit, but for lightweight your footsteps while crouched/walking/running are reduced by 30/40/50%, I think that would be a better buff IMO :)
The problem with adding it to Iron Will is Iron Will is already a pretty strong perk so I can’t see it Iron Will getting buffed. Adding it to Calm Spirit would be cool but I feel like Lightweight could use it more just because it of its balance state. It’s rarely ever used.
-
@Poweas said:
That’s a good idea, I can’t think of one better tbh, that could be used got some awesome mindgames in Haddonfield.
Exactly, like when you’re hiding outside on the 2nd floor of the strode house and the killer comes up there. Once they hear someone grunting they know someone just jumped. It could really help if you’re trying to be stealthy.
-
Legion can be good at stalling the game at red ranks but Legion’s kit isn’t rewarding enough. They should increase the recovery rate of his power a little.
-
I think making the exits spawn further away would be okay because at least then you got a 50/50 chance. But it is kinda one-sided when both exits spawn within line of sight of each other.
Either that or make it to where the end game timer slows down when there’s only 1 survivor alive.
-
We’ll Make It with Botany Knowledge. The healing stacks and can heal other players pretty quickly.
I’ll occasionally run Small Game in Red Ranks because 90% of the time the killer will have a Hex Perk.

How can you counter a thing you can't see coming? I mean, you are working on a generator, suddenly you get grabbed by spirit with prayer beads. How do you counter that? Gen-tapping for the rest of the trial?
From my experience Premonition + Urban Evasion counters her pretty well.
-
Bloodlust itself doesn’t need any changes. It’d be cool if they added a Bloodlust Perk though.
-
Hag & Miss Piggy are my favorite.
My least favorite to play as is Clown & my least favorite to play against is Leatherface.

I've noticed this a lot, since legion, look at ghostface's on the PTB for example, the greens are way better, his "ultra rares" are #########, someone needs to rethink the balance team at BHVR
Yeah at least they’re actually trying to balance the killers. Can’t say the same for a lot of perks though. There are some that have been horrible since launch(looking at your Monstrous Shrine & TINH).
-
I like how he’s angry reacting to everyone telling him not to tunnel, so toxic.

HiGh RiSk hIgH rEwarD!11!!!!!!
Doesn’t really apply to Third seal or Huntress Lullaby. Those Hex perks aren’t worth running.
-
I think a Lycan would be pretty cool for an original killer.
-
Was playing on “The Game” map against a Legion a couple weeks ago and while he was chasing me in feral frenzy I decided to be cheeky and Mend mid chase right next to a pallet. As he was coming out of Feral Frenzy I dropped the pallet on him and he got stuck inside of the pallet. Me and Meg were trolling while he was stuck.
I’ve never seen that happen. It was one of the best moments I’ve had playing DbD. 😂

It has an effect even at 0 tokens, that's why it notifies survivors.
Still think it shouldn’t right away.
