Tried playing with a controller for a while and when I tried to heal a survivor I accidentally threw the pallet they where under instead
Went back to keyboard and mouse after that
-
Cosplayed as Legion once
Super budget crappy cosplay but cosplay nonetheless
-
No they don't, they expect you to slug and camp and all that stuff to give you pressure
I know the meme of the moment is that the devs are survivor sided but they don't actually follow the survivors little handbook for good killers
-
I'm subscribed to him and while it's good that he's talking about it and bringing discussion. I feel he's a bit of a tin-foil-hat-man. He's seeing conspiracies where there aren't any.
Sometimes I feel bad for the devs. They are just trying to make their game the way they envisioned it and every word they say is being picked apart like they are politicians
-
Accidentally wearing my headphones backwards.
It's really confusing if the sounds are reversed
-
Tierlist in general are kinda dumb. They only really matter for the highest level of play. It really doesn't matter for 90% of the player base tbh
-
I would like if you can select a killer and a survivor challenge
I often switch between the 2 and its a big feelsbad when you realise you didn't make any progress cause you forgot to change it

There is no reason for the first perk to also have dance with me incorporated into it. Also someone made a similar suggestion but for stuns, but I guess both could be separate since a blind isn't a stun.
Not sure how the second one would work against killers whose entire powers are based on status effects (plague, legion, myers, ghostface, Freddy) but I like the general idea
I like the terror radius one, only problem is when you leave it, it's very faint.. So would it remain faint for that duration or blast at full volume?
And while I like the idea of kicking a completed generator that would be a bit overpowered and basically require survivors to do 6 generators.. Big no on that one.
I just said the first couple of things that popped in my head. I thought of beibg blinded and disapearing so i added the scratchmark removel
This more about sharing ideas rather then making perks that are ready set in stone to be added to the game tbh
-
The thought of Freddy wearing 2 children's dresses cracks me up
I'm going to give the explentation that the entity has no idea how the real world works so she's just winging it
-
Freddy with the 2 dress addons, huntress lullaby, pop goes the weasel and overcharge
Kick a gen with pop to make it regress 25% and if the survivors miss the skillcheck it regresses an additional 27ish % or so
-
Quite the case of you only hear what you want to hear
Making it so slowdown perks have less synergy means they can make them stronger without it being an issue when stacked together
It's also funny how you highlighted they will not increase gen times and app completly ignore that they are looking at game speed and are looking at ways to slow it down
-
Survivors say that I'm quite the bore
To mori without a reason
But playing nice is such a chore
So it's open season!!!
-
Lol so many people who didn't read the post
I don't think the devs would do that cause the big sell point of a chapter is often the killer
I don't think Chucky would be that hard to make work tbh. If you ever played Ghostface crouched only it isn't that bad most of the time
And he could use voodoo to carry and hook survivors. He made people float in the movies sometimes. The later ones atleast
-
Thanks for making these. It's really helpfull to have recap of the dev stream even if you watched it.
You're amazing ^_^
-
Dark devotion gives the survivor a terror radius and everything that affects it
So yes that interaction actually works
You will static blast everyone inside a 32 meter of the survivor you hit
-
Mind telling me how many hours you played that single day
Cause if you played 16 hours straight to do that then it's not really doc being op but you just having a ton of experience in the game
If you would practise karate 16 hours a day you would also get black belt quite quickly. Doesn't mean karate is easy

Question "Are you looking to improve some of the weaker perks"
Answer "Yes, I have a list here"
Small game
Cruel Limits
Any means necessary
Slippery Meat
Vigil
This is not happening
Technician
How many survivor perks and how many killer perks were on his list?
Yes, there is a Survivor bias.
I once knew a brother and sister that when they had to share a candy bar they got out a ruler to measure and made sure each got exactly the same amount
That's this community in a nutshell

Yikes if that's true.
These developers are something else, You should post a stream and time where they said that.
Do yourself a favor and watch the stream yourself someday before making judgments
People here twist the devs words so much it's insane

Letting the outer gens go makes the map smaller in a way
Being mindfull of wich gens to patrol is actually really good advice for killers strugling with pressure
The only reason to go to the outer gens is at the beginning of the match if you think survivor spawned there
You are not giving up 40% of your objective. Your objective isn't defend 5 gens it's sacrifice as many survivors and that works best if you make your patrol area as smal as possible
Once again really good advice that killers actually should listen too
-
Myers also have daddy issues but not quite in the same way
He has an issue with everyone calling him daddy
-
Yeah not being able to see the gens can be really annoyibg at times
Especially when you hit someona and hear nothing with killer instinct so you know the remaining survivors are on a gen away from you
Glad to hear you're trying more Legion though : D
-
Yeah I've been enjoying the new ruin a lot more on Legion then the old one

the entity also feeds off emotions like killer's bloodlust and rage, but i believe it's mostly the survivors hope
I feel that the entity mostly feeds of killer frustration tbh

Ds is bugged when you get picked up by a doctor? Can't be because i have been hit by it as Doctor in another game
I think it's when they are in tier 3 madness they can't DS or something

I Understand you guys are already aware of this, but i went from rank 15 to rank 3 in one day of only playing doc, and this was with random perks i got from leveling up since i didn't have anything good on him, i dont know what it is but he needs some kind of nerf lol. and i ALWAYS got the 4k unless i gave them hatch or let them escape through the exit gate.
It takes 53 pips to go from rank 15 to rank 3 so it would take at least 27 matches all merciless killer to get there and you did that all in one day?
If you're going to make up stories at least make them believable
-
Some players have learned that DC'ing is a weapon
If they DC enough it will get nerfed
-
Yes having the game end in under 5 minutes is a real learning experience...
Killers can use the current Q-times as an advantage though. I know i'm dodging when i see more then 2 toolboxes and i think i'm being generous with that
You could easilly dodge every toolbox and still get games quicker then survivors
-
Eeh kinda disagree. I think it's good for the game we have a strong killer that's easy to play
Not everyone plays this game religiously. ( some of you already beaten all the challenges in a day) Some just want to once in a while play as their favorite killer from a horror movie they like
While Huntress, Nurse and to an extend spirit do require skill. Getting to the point where they become useable is often an long and unenjoyable experience. We all know how some players can act once they realise you are a baby.
Not everybody has the time or energy to invest in that. And with matchmaking being as horrible as it is even relative low ranks have to face the top survivors
I think having an easy to play killer that casuals can fall back to is a good thing and Freddy is a perfect candidate cause he is a horror icon so more chance that casuals that want to play as a horror icon will play him
-
Very good on Legion as it stops dead hard as well as sprint burst to mess up your chain hits
I don't think i would run it on other killers though
-
Or make hexes respawn after some time
-
Played a handfull of killer matches on this map and i quite like it. I've always liked the ton of LoS blockers that allowed me to cut of a survivor
Chases feel less like a straight line to me on that map
Played only one survivor game that match and i enjoyed it as well. Other then the killer being a hag and purple to red ranks still don't know you can crouch her traps
-
That's honestly the nature if this game. It's very momentum/snowball based
Close games are rare cause if one side starts to get going it's really hard to make a comeback
-
@ABannedCat said:
Bug negatively affecting killers. History has shown that those are low priority.
It negatively affecting survivors too though. If a killer dodges a lobby they have another one in like a minute. The survivors not so much
-
@meatisadelicacy said:
Because we have a challenge and don't want to get dodged.
Doing that kind of stuff just makes it more likely to be dodged
-
I replaced ruin with ... ruin
It's not that bad on Legion actually
-
You did not actually pay for the game, the game is still owned by the devs
You just payed for the rights to play it. What bassicly means that the devs can change whatever they want
The only way to get a refund with steam is if you played the game for less then 2 hours IIRC
If you bought the game months ago you already got your money's worth tbh
-
Sunglasses for the killer: you are immune to blinding and they make you look lit af
-
Yeah, while Micheal is loved by the community he's really not that good
He has to waste time and stare at people to become a oneshot killer. Legion in most matches also becomes a oneshot killer but atleast they have tracking and people have to waste some time mending
While bad there is no denying Myers is a ton of fun though. Best addons in the game when it comes to variarity second closely by the hag
-
Solution for now is just dodge lobbies that have flashlights in them
You get a new loby in like a minute. The survivors are not so lucky

I've always taken that as a compliment, personally. I have no idea why this frustrates people. With the exception being Rift challenges. Admittedly I did get frustrated when 3/4 attempts at the sacrifice all survivors in the basement challenge went awry because survivors decided to d/c instead.
Just find it annoying how some players use DC'ing as a weapon
Not all of them ofcourse but i have multiple people say "If i DC enough against it, it will get nerfed"
As a survivor having half your team leave because one of the 2 man swf had their first down cause they couldn't drop a pallet after being shocked isn't that complimentery
-
In the meantime, survivors are mass Dc'ing vs doc again
-
I like this idea. Would love for Chucky to be in the game
Afyer playing always crouched Ghostface i think his height wouldn't be that big of a deal
-

Damm lol 1 gen left and all 4 survs are alive , wish gen speed got tweaked
I got stuck on 4 gens but i couldn't keep on pressure after that :(

This is what I was gonna mention as well. Now is not the time to learn Spirit. Even most heavy Spirit players like myself aren't really playing her right now because she still has very bad sound bugs that ruin her...again.
Maybe it's better now. It did say something about sound in the patch notes
-
@Rareware0192 said:
When you’re phasing with Spirit, can you still see/hear generators being worked on by survivors?
You can hear the sounds of survivors working on gens yes
I believe you also see the sparks so with new ruin that's also a telltale a survivor is on the gen if that works

That's not what I'm trying to say, people can band together regardless, people can be better off and wake up from their ways.
You seem to have better faith in humanity then i have. Maybe i'm just getting old and grumpy

You can when it gets popped or if you dont run it.
So it turns killer gameplay into a kick the gen simulater but only when it's not there?
I'm sorry i don't follow

That's not human nature, it is mind and will, there wasn't 'we against them' plenty of times in war, especially Christmas, we had enemies, we didn't kill their wives and kids.
We don't kill the opposing team wife and kids here too
Atleast i hope you don't O_o'
-
@FleshTorpedo said:
Its turned the killer game play into kick a generator simulator with minimal chasing. Chasing is the most fun for survivors and killers and bhvr just killed chases.
You can't kick gens with the new ruin...
-
I'm afraid the "we against them" mentality will never go away. That's just human nature
