5 minutes becomes 15. 15 minutes becomes an hour. An hour becomes 16 hours.
Eventually "get a tea and come back" is going to be "play a different game and don't bother to return".
Aah yes you have so many game breaking bugs in one gaming session that you are forced to quit multiple times
-
I don't know about you
But I would rather take a 5 minute penalty of a bug that happens like once every 100 games then every other game being ruined because of DC's
-
Remove the addons and double the exhaustion of all exhaustion perks
It's kinda crazy how a survivor can sprint burst to safety and if the killer decides to leave them because busted loops they get it back in no time at all
-
In about a week the few killers that do it on purpose will stop too as it's also 4 minutes of them doing nothing
After that how often does it happen that a killer let's the entire team bleed to that?
I've had that once against a baby nurse my other 3 teammates were taunting all game
-
There's no uproar cause it's not a big deal
Assuming you went to the closest hook simply hitting the survivor blocking still gives you enough time to get the hook and you get a free injure
There are also perks that help with this, agitation, mad grit, iron grasp
In all honesty you might want to change your mindset of the game if a simple body blocked hook makes you dc

For what it's worth, all of the killers are still humanoid. Humanoid != human, it just means that they're human shaped (bipedal, two arms sticking off the side of their torso, and a "head").
Does that mean a killer like the headless horseman is out of the question : P
-
Otz, scot and raging_ryuga for the most part but i would watch anybody that looks interresting
-
I want Chucky as a killer too
He has voodoo powers so he could just float survivors up to hooks right? Kinda like nurse does

the penalty should be on bloodpoints, not in game time, not in a game that I PAID and has a lobby simulator in...
You didn't pay for the game, you paid for allowing to play it. And with that payment you also had to agree to terms that allow them to ban you if you don't follow the rules
Always love those players that think the devs own them something cause they bought their product
-
Less handholding information for survivors and a lot less safe zones would make the game scarier
But it's really hard to keep a game like this scary. Play any horror game for the same amount of hours you played dbd and you'll also find the scare factor dwindeling
-
Made a mistake with the tittle of this thread so i changed it
Headon wasen't really the focus point it was everything in combination that the survivors could do to frustrate the killer
The clipping through the killer, coordinations, the constant stuns and blinds
I know Otz was tired but i don't think anyone could have fun vs this as killer. Even if you win afterward cause the survivors
Mostly posted it cause it's an intresting discussion i think, the survivors had the most fun is this, but they did lose. While the killer gameplay was frustrating but they did win. And while it's not unussual that in vs games one side fun is at the expence of the others i feel this game can be quite extreme with it
On both sides really

You want Head On nerfed? Swf nerfed? The Game nerfed? Just wanted to share a funny game?
So...you think it's problematic most "fun" aspects of one side are miserable for the other? Can't say I disagree 😁
Just want to see what people thoughts about it are, I'm not shouting nerfs or anything like that
I understand that in a versus game that's usually the case that one side's fun is ussually unfun for the other side but it seems a bit too extreme in this game

What if ruin was a hex that only allowed gens to up to 90% completed till it was cleansed. Just an ideal.
Can't work
Killer could just bodyblock the totem and prevent the game from being finished
-
The reason people don't open the gates in that situation is to not put a timer on the one being chased
If the gates are open all the killer has to do is zone you away from the gates for a couple of minutes
You can get really screwed if your teammates open the door to quick as instead of evading the killer you're suddenly forced to go through them
The mistake in that game was your teammates weren't there to open it as you came running to it
-
I might use it in a obsession meme build or combined with stbfl
Mostly i use it for kill a person dailly missions
-
I use it from time to time.
It rarelly works but if it does it's amazing to see the panic settle in on survivors
On a sidenote, it's pretty rude stealing another person thunder like that : P
-
Trappers father would be an interresting survivor/killer
-

Yep.
That's a shame, i really liked that combo
-
Do beartraps also count as screaming?
I already did this challenge so i can't test it but it's an option for people who don't have dlc
-
A 5 minute chase is really long, as a general rule of thumb if bloodlust activates and you don't see that you'll hit or get a pallet soon it's time to abandon the chase
I do agree that early game is terrible for killers. Even the slightest of mistakes get's punished so hard
-
Imo all it needs is a reason to run it.
It's the hard mode of survivors but with no reward other then bragging rights
A big bp bonus to reward you is all it needs imo
-

Killers tend to average around 300K bloodpoints with Barbecue & Chili, while survivors tend to average around 12K bloodpoints with We're Gonna Live Forever.
32k bloodpoints is the max you can get
That's 64k with 4 stacks of bbq
And 96k is you run bps/pudding
Don't know where you got the 300k from

You're not the only one brother. I'm curious to see some active player counts charts in a few weeks.
According to the steamcharts there has been little to no difference
-
Make FF hits also aply oblivious on hit untill mended
Reduce the penalty for missing attacks
Make it so the power can be activated when it's not full
People with deep wounds should be locked out of repairing gens and cleansing totems
Hitting with a basic attack should not reduce your power. You should gain power imo
Give back the speed increase addons.
Reduce the stun effect of FF slightly
Not all of the above at once, a couple of these QoL changes and they would feel much better
-
Bennet Fody: getting over it
"There's no feeling more intense than starting over"
-
As killer you can run across the haybails on the tractor in the farm maps to catch people vaulting them
You can cross over the pit in the school halls of badham by looking by looking at a 45 degree angle at the wall while you lunge
-
Thanks for the responses everyone
I've decided to p3 doctor and just focus on bloodpoints and trying random things based on what the bloodwebs give me
I think the biggest issue is the matchmaking went from rank 5 to rank 9 and i still only go against red rank survivors
I can't wait for the new matchmaking
-
I haven't been able to wiggle out much but more then the amounts of times i was hooked in the basement when i got downed on the opposite end of the map from it
so it's doing what's intended 👍️
-
Would like this change. The only problem i could see with it is that they would need a new color every time a hex perk is released
-
It's crazy how many survivors don't know how deep wounds work. I'm surprised that op didn't also want to ban him cause Legion know in what locker he is in frenzy
-
Really bad build but sometimes i like to run
Brutal strenght, bamboozle, fire up and bloodwarden on legion
Everything is so fast after all gens are done and bloodwarden so i can enjoy the speed a minute longer
-
Early game i want them together
Late game when there is only 1 or 2 left multiple people can do gens scary fast so then i would rather have them not together on a gen
-
Legion, killers still haven't caught on

I think your outcome 11,4% is correct, but I would use a different methode:
To know the probability to kobe at one of the three attempts you have to calculate the probably for a kobe on first try, on second try and on third try and then add them together OR calculate the probability for failing three times in row and substract that from 100%. I think that's the easier method in this case so:
Probability for 3 failures in a row: 0,96*0,96*0,96= 0,885 (rounded)
1-0,885=0,115 -> 11,5 % Probability to kobe for three attempts, so I get the same result as you :)
That's how I would calculate it, but I can' t guarantee it's right^^
That's way easier. Thanks ^-^

Most killer players that relied too heavily on ruin won’t be able to adapt. The plus side is this ruin change will drive some red rank killers back to purple/green where they realistically should be based on their skill level. I think it’s wonderful personally as red ranks should only be for extremely skilled players, and right now it’s littered with not so good players on both sides.
Too bad when they are back in green/purple ranks they still have to play against the same red ranks

Happens sometimes, but not nearly as often as you claim. In my case it gets worse if I use bad internet, so this is probably your problem
I thought it was my internet at first but wouldn't it affect my survivor games as well if that was the problem?
-
Most perks that come out are actually pretty good. But they pale in comparison to the meta
That's more a case of the meta being too strong rather then the newer perks beinh weak tbh

No worries lol. Its 4% of 96% each try though.
So even if you fail the first attempt, it's still 4% of 96% the second attempt.
Basically, think of it like buying a lottery ticket and you didnt win. You buy one for the next lottery, but your odds are the same they dont increase because you oost the first time.
I know it's 4 % all the time i'm calculating the chance of the 3 attemps together
I don't know how to explain it but i know it's not as simple as to add the percentages together as that would mean that after 20 attemps you're garantied to kobe and i know for a fact that's not the case : P

Some of them do too according to their backstories, and there are just as dangerous weapons in the maps they would be able to use, and then there are 4 of them and one of him.
On top of that they don't even have to rush him with 4 people in knife range, there is a ton of stuff they could do with 4 people to incapacitate people. Ever see that video of the one teen that tried to rob the store with a knife and the people in the store took him out? There were only 2 of them.
It's not like all the survivors are push overs, some of them are military vets, police vets, demon slayers, etc...
I know lore wise it's probably that the entity would stop them from being able to, or that the entity is increasing the killer's power entirely; but still it's just fun to poke holes in is all lol.
I used to do martial arts and we once had a knife expert visit our club. The question came up why people just don't gang up on the knife wielder so he demonstrated
3 of us vs him with a wooden knife replica. Most of the time all of us would have died. Sometimes we would be able to get rid of his knife but never before someone got stabbed
The people in that video got real lucky tbh.
But i get it. It's fun to poke fun at the weird interactions in this game : P

It could be they wanted to get their pips and if you genrush and leave everyone black pips or even depips

15 year old girl breaks pallets with two low powered kicks but can't hold a survivor while a light is shining in her face
Yeah i always wondered why killers like trapper lose their grip of a survivor after being blinded. If anything they would hold on tighter right?
I'm going to go to my favorite lore reason and say the entity doesn't know how the real world works so she's just winging it.
Kinda like how survivors treat chainsaw wounds by rubbing them a bit
-
Dark devotion is amazingly fun
Also bloodwarden. It barelly works but when it does it feels great
For survivor small game. Free points, anti hex, and allows me to get objective emblems without the match ending in 5 minutes
-
Cause knifes are no joke. Especially if the person weilding it knows what they are doing. Which judging from their mori they do.
I would sooner ask that question about the pig tbh.
Lore wise, the entity strenghtens the killer. That's why sweet little Suzie can kick a pallet to smithereens in 2 kicks

11.5% out of 300% tho ( i guess?)
Basically I think this is how the math works
4% wich means a 96% it fails on the first attempt
4% of 96 is 3.84% so added together there is 7.84% chance for one of the first 2 attempts to succeed and a 92.16% chance it fails
4% of 92.16% is ~3.69%
So all together you have a ~11.53% to Kobe with 3 attempts and base luck
Math never was my best subject so I could very well be wrong though : P

In terms of MMR based ranking or whatever it is, I'm fairly certain it's the way other games like overwatch, Rainbow 6 and rocket League do rank.
Problem is what is determined as a deserved increase in skill or worthy decrease in skill level.
If I 4k too quickly to gain MMR or suicide on hook which should be something that negatively impacts MMR I want to know how your actions in game will be interpreted by the Devs in the new system.
You say fiarly certain but you have no idea what's it going to be
Could be something completely different from the games you mentioned
They never mentioned MMR. They just said that they would monitor the skill and try to match best according to that
Any complaints or arguments we do about it before we know at least some details is completely and utterly pointless
-
I like the streamers but every single one of them is speculating
You can't talk about flaws in a system that you haven't seen yet. We literally know nothing of it.
-
Stopped taking you serious after you said they nerfed doctor
He is better in almost every single way
-
If you use all 3 attempts it's about 11,5% to Kobe
So if a lot of people are doing it now it's not that crazy to see it a lot
-
That's kinda insane as you actually haven't seen it yet
Only heard vagually what's it about
So many people are yelling doom and chaos again while having no idea what they are talking about
