So the Ring Drawing which spreads Condemnation through healing, and either the Tape Editing Deck which makes survivors start with a tape, or the Iridescent Videotape which turns on the last 4 tvs Sadako teleported through, if she hits someone within 8 seconds of coming out of a TV.
These addons are pretty easy to counter, I'm not sure where any particular pain points around the addons are.
if you use the ring drawing and the slug strat, building condemned is easy af since picking a fellow Survivor up gives you condemned.
There's no real point in going for hooks with this strat, at least in the early game

Engravings have always increased movement speed
Its just that they are usually used by people who like going for curves, which are pretty rare to come by
-
If you had a teachable prior to 6.1.0, then all your characters will now have that perk at Level 1

if you want to change your name Im pretty sure you can comment on one of the mods profiles to request name change

I think killers just need a base mechanic to getting around the map to bridge the gap between the higher and lower tier killers
that way M1 killers like Trapper have a way of getting around, while not having too much of an effect on high mobility killers since they already have a way of moving around

I think they can't do it, because of gameplay reasons.
There has to be a set fov so neither side gets an unfair advantage.
Imagine if walking speed was random. A few percents one or the other way and you can't be certain you'll get to that pallet or be able to get that hit.
Hey, atleast there is a perk like shadowborn. There could've been none.
Movement speed aint an accessibility option like FOV in literally every other game out there tho

if some one is body blocking, some one is saboing, and you have some one else on you're shoulder, thats 3 Survivors not on gens
There's also nothing stopping you from dropping the carried Survivor

The soft cap changes, go look at the original system that actually is explained by the developers please
To answer your edit, yes Ive gone against some subtle cheaters. Last one I went against was actually a few days ago.
No idea what this has to do with what I quoted tho, Streamers get stream sniped by these cheaters, some people will see that and want their 20 minutes of fame, so they buy the cheats and the cycle continues.

If youve seen the video then you should know how MMR works

You replied WAY too quickly to that to even watch the video, and even if the soft cap changes, that wouldnt change anything as the soft cap applies to everyone. So even if the soft cap changes from 1600 to 1800 for example, youre still being thrown in a pool of players that have 1800 and higher.

No, thats not how it works. And that account is to test MMR, and you obviously don't know how it works, yes their is a soft cap, but that soft cap goes up and down based on players in queue. Please, stop.
And it doesn't make my point better, just pointing out in your sentence I have played longer than you like it means something????
And of course, I am one of the only people in the game with probably MMR this high!
2:06 of this video is an explanation on how it works.
Also the reason why Im pointing out how long Ive been playing is because you are the only person whos allegedly getting targeted this much. Not even big streamers are getting it as bad as youre claiming and thats the primary target for cheaters, not some random players.

Bro I posted a video of the queues, I have been playing this game for 6 YEARS SINCE 2016 BEGGING ON TWITTER FOR A KEY!!! So now my point is more valid then yours is what it sounds like.
Heres the queues
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYhp8IlriDs
And I don't think you understand what the players at the highest level in their own little communities are doing in the background. Not to mention I got 2 cheaters I have played agains't before, ONE I MANUALLY REPORTED TO BHVR AND HAVE NOT BEEN MESSAGED BACK
bro youre talking out of your ass, the highest level is no different than the old rank system. Theres a soft cap where everyone has reached that or is above is being matched together. You can have players who are at 1800 and be paired up with people who have 2400, since I believe the soft cap atm is 1600 (which a good chunk of players have reached btw)
As for the video, deadass never seen anyone else with this issue, but considering you're always being "ddosed" it probably has something to do with your net or theres something else going on with your game, id suggest contacting support.
Also, you either havent been playing since 2016, or havent been active since very recently considering youre only Devotion 2. Also I dont know how that makes your point more valid..
-
first its 15+ min queues... and now youre allegedly getting ddosed multiple times...
Ive been playing this game for over 5 years, 5.1k hours and not once have I been ddosed, nor have I had queues over 15 minutes outside of a bug (like during the Hallowed Blight) or the PTB
youre either the worlds unluckiest player, or cappin. There aint no in between.

oh yeah, some nice balls ya got there being able to write this post
do they come in mens?

Gens taking 15 seconds longer
Exit door taking 30 seconds longer
All these survivors perks are deactivated after the exit gates are powered up: Deliverance, Renewal, Resurgence, Reassurance, Unbreakable, Soul Guard, all Boons, all exhaustion perks.

Dead Hard is strong when you pull it off and there's a script people to always dead hard when the killer swings. With the script, Dead Hard is a better choice than Sprint Burst and against most killers is effectively a 3rd health state when the killer is committed to a chase.
Sprint Burst would likely see more use if Dead Hard usage wasn't being brought up by script users.
Scripting is cheating, sure it may increase the usage by a bit but theyre in the VERY large minority

There are people of the mindset Nurse's synergy with Exposed perks which allows her to instantly down a healthy survivor after blinking is overpowered. By making her attack a Special Attack, it would mean she is no longer able to grab by default unless the devs recode it in specifically (like how Wesker's ability handles it) which would also break the associated challenge (3 blinks into a grab), and it would mean she cannot use Exposed perks or any other perk that requires a basic attack. For example, Sloppy Butcher.
"There are people of the mindset Nurse's synergy with Exposed perks which allows her to instantly down a healthy survivor after blinking is overpowered."
Because it is.
She has the best chase ability in the game without a doubt, ignoring literally every single resource available to Survivors. Normally killers are weaker in the early game because of all the available resources survivors have and later on this becomes a bit less of a problem because pallets and breakable walls are used up, making most loops unsafe and a lot easier to deal with. Nurse on the other hand? She plays her own game. As no matter what stage the game is in she remains at her full potential.
Not being able to grab is fine as I can count on one hand the amount of times I've gotten an interrupt after a Blink. Also there is absolutely nothing stopping the devs from changing 'From the void she kills'. In fact we know they don't have an issue with changing achievements, take Deranged Pursuit for example. An achievement which used to be VERY difficult made easy as hell when Legion got their first minor rework.
Not being able to use Exposed Perks or anything else that requires a Basic Attack is something the majority of killers who rely on their M2 to get hits have been dealing with already, don't know why this is a problem all of a sudden for Nurse as pretty much every killer except Nurse doesn't have synergy with so many things on top of having such a powerful ability.
There is absolutely no reason as to why she can be so perfect in pretty much everything, she NEEDS changes. She's the only thing that's remained basically unchanged from an era where basically everything was busted.

If Spirit moves from point A to point B, that entire line is a threat. If Nurse moves from point A to point B, only the lunge range around A and B is a threat. Spirit can also move wherever in those 5 seconds she feels like, in case she feels like scrapping her original target location. Once Nurse picks a destination, she's stuck going there and can only readjust after another charge and blink (assuming the earlier was her first blink).
which is why you use your first blink to eliminate the majority if not all of the Survivors options and then you have a 2nd blink to correct yourself and react to what the Survivor did

Why is Disney a problem though? Has BHVR said they can't get any Disney license? Fortnite gets Marvel from Disney... why couldn't BHVR get Aliens?
Because Epic Games is a tad bit bigger than BHVR?

I fail to see the problem with something being harder. If a survivor really is worried about aura perks, they can run Distortion/Object and counter that back.
Spirit’s exact location is completely invisible unless there’s grass or whatever, and she makes the entire line she runs past a threat range where said line can be anywhere in a circle of where she can run, because she can swing out of it at any moment. Nurse threat range is limited to lunge range around first blink destination + lunge range around second blink destination. She can’t hit everything along the way. Spirit’s power also doesn’t require committing to a specific location and she can run back at hyper speed if she wants. Furthermore, Spirit covers more raw distance than Nurse (7.04x5s vs 20+12m blink). Lastly, Nurse has windows of safety in the travel time between the blink the survivor can use to reposition. Spirit will run that entire distance, so the moment her power charge fully finishes, everywhere near her is a threat.
Saying Spirit has better movement than Nurse is just wrong as thats just taking into account running in a straight line (which btw, even then its not that big of a difference) because you're not taking into account the fact that Nurse literally ignores obstacles while Spirit still needs to walk around them.

went against a P100 Nea last night who was also a small twitch streamer
made him a tad bit salty and it was funny af

Ive also noticed this, and something else
It almost seems like certain surfaces extend his dash, this is most noticeable on hills but other things like the chairs on Lery's also allow this. I haven't found a consistent way to do it though, meaning this might be as precise as sky/space billy to pull off
-
@ByeByeQ said:
Nurse moves at 92% of survivor movement speed. She very rarely can chase down a survivor to get a hit without blinking.
I think her first blink attack should count as a basic attack and her second (and third) blink attacks should count as special attacks.
96.25% actually
92% is everones carry speed

Thank you it means a lot.=)
When me and my 2 fellas left RC after some not very good updates, I wasn't playing any games for maybe a year... Just was spending time at work and with loved ones.=) And one day my co-worker recomended me this game, she was playing DBD for a long time. She said it might get me captured, since there is a lot of psychological elements like stress and tension, since we work in a psychiatric hospital. She said that this game can get my attension, and oh boy she was right.=)
The community of this game is really interesting, I love reading peoples opinions about stuff in this game and I love overall reactions to some situations in the matches. Ofc there is some stuff that I don't like but... They are being forgotten very quickly.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3184776#Comment_3184776
It actually surprises me when people seeing some killers really often, but they hate them similar to the rare ones.
Yeah its a shame RC went down the path it did, lets hope the sequel is better
Also glad to see you're still doing well and enjoying DbD :)

Worst map for Dredge is definitely Rotten Fields. Very few lockers and very spaced out generators.
Best is probably Lery's. Lots of lockers spread out fairly evenly.
I would argue its actually Midwich

I don't know if a full predator chapter would work, the power would be treading on Wraith's toes quite a lot. Not much else you can add besides his blaster (not another ranged killer thanks) and his heat vision (just wallhacks, we've seen it before.) I think legendary skins might be better - Arnold for David, Predator for Wraith.
They'd have to switch some animations and models around for Predator, such as replacing his axe with the wrist blades and replacing the bell with his cloak device, but that aside it's a perfect fit power wise. Even with the loud uncloaking/decloaking, the blurry heat haze body, the croaking and rasping, etcetera.
I just don't see why killer power skins can't work. Killer powers work like items that the killer holds, such as hillbilly's chainsaw and nurse's "blinker", as we've seen from hackers swapping out killer powers. Multiple variants of items exist for survivors, so the basic principle is there. Surely it wouldn't be impossible to create a new "power item", duplicate all the basic code from wraith's bell in terms of functionality, adjust it to play different animations and sounds for the cloak device, and cause that power item to be swapped in when you play with the predator skin?
I mean I think they could make him a kind of hybrid of a stealth, ranged and trapping killer. Maybe have him set up traps that if a Survivor steps on, instead of having to go over to it he can shoot them with his blaster. These traps could imitate certain things as well, obvious one being an injured Survivor. As for his cloak or heat vision, maybe he can set up traps while cloaked, or maybe only have heat vision while cloaked.
There is so much they could do with Predator, and BHVR is usually pretty creative when it comes to these kind of things. He'd be a perfect fit

That Huntress game is truly peak DbD right there, those kind of games no matter the outcome, I come out satisfied. Its why I think a rematch button should be a thing.

Different servers mean different players and experiences, but the people I've played with back in the day were FAR less whiny and way smarter than the ones I've played with prior to leaving the Fog.
they may have seem smarter but really thats just because there was more wiggle room for Survivors
Made their mistakes much less punishing

Quite honestly I see this perk as a wasted opportunity, as this perk could of been perfect for Solo Q. Best way to change it? Make it give you the benefits when your X amount of meters away from another Survivor
This way it has synergy with other perks, interesting gameplay with stealth, makes it a pretty decent perk on its own, and is still very much thematic
