Like I understand some people do obsess of the achievements and want to get them as fast as they can. Still seriously just asking why is that so important to you that it effects of your enjoyement?
Like I do like achievements and I do quite often collect games I play to 100% achievements. Still I don't take it as the main goal usually maybe in some games but usually I just play the game and get the achievements while I play. Like I do go for the achievement usually if its something specific in this game like it demands the main gen being fixed or that Lich achievement, but still I will not be that upset if I don't get it as there will be other matches later to get it. I for example do the adepts on the new characters from the start to get them done. Usually takes me few matches and only rarely have needed to slug to get it and that was like after I played several days about 20 matches and could not get it in my normal play style. Partly unlucky and partly because the perks were not really that good for that specific killer but works really well with some others.
Like currently I am missing nine achievements the oldest is the Nurse one because that is one of those that you really need to go for it to get it and rarely get three blink Nurse in my random builds.
Its always been a side objective since i ran out of other stuff to do in the game. Im just saying i've started to realise its not worth maintaining anymore.

I assume many players have unlocked it after vecnas release where he was played a lot. I didn't play that much back then, so it's kind amy bad.😅
Ive always tried to get the achievements as soon as they come out, especially killer adepts (I even got jason, played for his achievements and haven't touched him since). But that one for vecna i remember reading that and going "i've got to get this one over with quickly or it will be very difficult later" lol.

I'll get it eventually, it's just a game of chance.💀
Its like rolling 3 different dice and if either one fails its game over lol, 1 dice for getting a killer playing vecna, 2nd dice for getting the item out of the chest, 3rd dice for getting a good team that wins and gives you the chance to escape lol

I think if someone really wants to have 100% Achievements in DBD, they should get every character. There is just no way around it. And if there is a conflict between not liking certain characters and having 100% Achievements, then they have to decide what to pick.
Personally I dont think that keeping DBD at 100% Achievements is worth it by any means. Some Achievements require me to play Characters I just dont like. Others are forcing me to use bad Perks (e.g. the one where you have to give permanent healing progress), which would be fine, but since I dont aim for 100% achievements, it is not worth it. Because the big dealbreaker are Achievements which would just take way too long to do. The one in question for me is the Springtrap-Achievement to grab people out of Doors. I dont like playing Springtrap because he is pretty dull in my opinion (which is fine, he is for an audience who potentially never played DBD before). And getting grabs mean that I need to play a ton of Springtrap and hope that the Survivors are really bad to use the Doors while I am not occupied doing other things. This is just not gonna happen on a reliable basis.
And even worse are other Achievements which require a specific Killer to go against. The Vecna-Achievement was already named, I got it quite early, but if you start later and not when a Killer is freshly released, you might have Dozens of games before facing that specific Killer and then you can either throw the game for the achievement or, if it requires something like escaping, you have to hope that everything works out. Not really ideal.
Therefore I just think that having DBD on 100% is just not worth it anymore. Especially because it is only 3 month until new Achievements are released which just mean that you might have to do a different very tedious task to do.
Also the map based achievements got much more tedious and harder to do once the map offerings were obliterated. I swear getting that generator done in the walking dead map and making it out alive took a couple weeks as id burn through about 15 offerings before ever seeing the map, and then get turbo tunneled. When i did get it done, it was with the whole team tunneled out and me barely crawling out the gate by a frame. I can't imagine how tedious it is to get the RPD door opening achievement now.

100% achievements in dbd is like a fun lil side objective for me. I still haven't got the dnd vecna thingy where you have to escape with one of his precious ######### super relics, because he's so incredibly rare.
It's pointless, yeah.
I've actually seen him in like 40% of the chaos shuffle matches so far. Even back to back 3 in a row sometimes. But yea finding the jackpot item and escaping with it is another story lol
-
Ironically i pulled that one off by having a friendly killer that id run infront of then id run to a locker, and repeated that till the achievement popped lol.
Another method seems to be against legion players if they hit and run to the next target you can go to a locker before the chase ends each time. Then get out and mend when the chase ends
-
@WinterFell said:
I'm kind of perplexed. If getting 100% achievements is important to you then you must make the commitment to get every chapter to do so. If its not important to get 100%, then you don't. Isn't it that simple?
It is not. Because its now going to cost buying characters i will never use. And that has started to become frequent enough that the goal no longer feels important.
-
If you do get faster with scent orbs i've never really noticed it. Survivors make it to pallets and windows just fine even if you are huffing orbs the whole chase.
-
Not liking the fact that a survivor can leave before you mori simply means you enjoy kicking them while they are down rather than just enjoying seeing your mori animation. If you want to force people to watch your moris than bring the offering.
-
If i knew how to make memes i'd make one of the kid saying "you guys are getting paid?" And switch it to "you guys are having fun?"
Jokes aside it mostly depends on what you prefer to play against and rolling the dice as to weather or not you get it. Like rolling a 1 will get you stuff like Legion or bully squads, rolling a 20 will get you a killer you enjoy or a team thats not so great at generator efficiency and makes mistakes.
-
Unforseen
I don't see it in play very often but turns any killer into a stealth killer that survivors are not expecting as they get no indication that the killer's terror radius is off, like with pyramid head's perk. And it can also be paired with other perks to suprise people that know its in play but forgot they can't tell if you are coming back to them once they jump on the gen within the gens terror radius. Its a great improvement to any stealth build, and suprisingly it actualy pairs with pyramid head's gen kick stealth perk as well, as you cycle between both since they have different cooldowns and durations.
-
The thing about The Thing is that in the movie it had to pick people off 1 by 1 while blending in with the crew, because if it tried to go after them out in the open it would have been melted by the flamethrower.
Just like the Xenomorph in the movies relied on ambushing people one at a time, because they were armed.
In dbd however the xenomorph has no real stealth and just runs out in the open chasing people as they are not armed. The turrets only work as a deterent.
The Thing however would likely not be up against armed survivors for once, and they would not stand a chance without fire. So The Thing could focus more on changing forms to help it catch people easier rather than worry about blending in for safety. It is also a highly intelligent being in that it absorbs memories and personalities, and is capable of building advanced space craft from scraps. So its quite capable of becoming any kind of playstyle in dbd.
-
Some things she may have over Vecna (Henry) is
- maintaining distance is keeping you in her comfortable firing range. So just holding W isn't going to work as well against her.
- Sending survivors to the hopeless exile works like pyramid heads cage only it gives them something else to do while there. It also cannot be "saved" from blinds or stuns. Giving her a point towards bully squad immunity.
- Her projectiles are not so predictable as they can come from any direction and go in any direction from any distance very quickly. whereas Vecna's are simple and are expected at every pallet/window/turned corner etc at a certain short range.
- She has stronger passive slowdowns in that her current status effect causes survivors to avoid generators if they aren't great at hitting great skillchecks.
- She can down or injure the whole team with 1 shot if placed and controlled well enough. (Vecna can as well but hitting more than 1 person with the upside down attack is alredy extremely rare)
- She does not need to hit people 4 times to knock them down with her power.
As for the beam starting sooner, they were trying to avoid spawning the beam right ontop of survivors as that was all the players would do in the first round of playtesting, which was not enjoyable to play against as it was nearly unavoidable. So the delay is meant to make the killer player try to aim their shots with the moving beam rather then spawn the beam on them.

Thats the thing, theyd have to cleanse cuz its the legion situation again where she would be meta with oni, or too good of a support compared to any other killer. Infact shed be able to keep people injured even easier than legion, or have a flamethrower the whole game.

I think we have enough of games like Marvel Rivals selling skins that are practically soft core and we don't need more. Things like Kate's Waterfront Massacre skin I really appreciate because it shows taste. Even with the Vee cosmetic, I appreciate that they didn't just straight up put her in a tiny bikini because it shows respect for their character. The male survivors like Ace with his underwear, Jonah with his Olympic speedo, or honestly even the Tae-Young speedo (my girlfriend literally busted out laughing at it) all just come across as goofy skins. Why do we need things to be sexy in a PvP Horror Game. The way the gaming community looks at a female swimsuit skin and a male swimsuit skin are vastly different. The majority of the video game community sexualizes the hell out of all female characters, we don't need more. I feel like that's just respectful
Thats the double standard im talking about. You just named 3 men in skimpy outfits and said that it was goofy. But put 1 woman in a basic bikini bottom and suddenly the game is going to be like marvel rivals where they've realised sexy outfits sell the most so thats all they make now.
Its not going to be like that. Infact how many female survivors are left without a waterfront massacre skin? All i can think of are Zarina, and Taurie. And since Zarina tends to wear skimpier stuff in gold usually, a simple gold bikini would look great on her. Something like this:
So why would this^ being the only bikini in the entire game's cosmetic pile, consider the game to be oversexualising women to a point where its becoming like marvel rivals that makes ALL their outfits sexualised and even focus on making them skimpiest as possible?
Infact the highest selling outfit in the game is sable's swimsuit simply because its the first and only "basic" bikini top without some kind of backpack or anything attatched to it. We do not even have 1 "basic" bikini bottom in the game let alone a full bikini.
This^ still shows taste, without making it so obvious that they are trying to desexualise women only to a point where its a double standard. Im not asking for a string floss bikini. But they are way too afraid of making 1 bikini bottom, and this Vee skin is the closest thing we've ever gotten to one.
It also makes no sense why they can throw "taste" to some characters enforcing them to have painted on shorts but its ok for others to have short skirts n underwear with buttcheeks. BUT we can't go as far as a full bikini bottom.
On a side note, your gf finds kwon's outfit to be funny while my duo partner bought it immediately, and is practically drooling everytime someone else wears it in the lobby. So whats funny to some is still sexy to others.

One odd one was Earnest : Scared stupid. Like mentioned in the post I would find it laughable today but the troll turning kids into little sculptures was intimidating.
Then there was a movie called The Gate, pretty rare to see nowadays but the entire thing is on youtube. Probably my favorite horror movie.
Another memorable mention was the Tiki man from Trilogy of Horror. Chases the woman around her appartment and she can't figure out a way to kill it.
Then i dunno if u've heard of a movie called Creepshow by Stephen King, but that was another movie with multiple short movies, the one that branded itself into my memory for over 2 decades without even knowing what the movie's title was, was the part with the teens going on a raft and they get attacked by a sentient black acidic sludge that picks them off and dissolves them one by one with similar effects to The Blob.
And lastly one that also took me many years to figure out the name but remembered the dolls in it quite well, was Puppetmaster. That one with the drill head creeping around the house going after people's ankles lol I never forgot that guy (got the whole collection not even realising there were like 9 movies lol)

The magic of "healing hands!" Lol. Just kidding, but i think the complication lies with the amount of cosmetics, and how to make each one change to look bloodier/more injured. Not just each outfit, but each piece of each outfit.

I really want a chapter 2 for halloween and nightmare on elm street.
Mikey and Laurie deserve new skins, haddonfield is iconic and there are a few more survivor options.
Freddy needs SOME skins and MY BOY TOO
Oh and that way BHVR could clear up the mess that is the badham realm.
Oh you know me, still stuck on that lonely island watching a plane go by that has a big flag saying "we are interested in hearing what you want!" And I start waving flares next to the big letters in the sand that say S H A N O A ! ! and hope they finally notice me.
But aside from that i hear Robert Englund is open to do voicework and a new nightmare on elm street movie is being made about the original Freddy( he won't be acting in it anymore so i dunno how thats gonna work), but maybe original Freddy has a chance to come in the game

But seriously, we're always interested to hear which chapters folks would like to see (sequel or otherwise), so I appreciate threads like this for giving a read on that.
Castlevania chapter 2 please. It would be a great chance to bring in the legendary skins of the castlevania cosplays like Shanoa / Simon Belmont / Sypha Belnades /Maria and possibly Dracula's castle. The killer could be Death. If ur interested i also made a chapter 2 concept post in the feedback section. Theres still a ton of content possible.

I haven't watched Wednesday, but i've seen the Adams family movies and even have the old black n white tv show full series on dvd

One primary piece of feedback I have been trying to get to the dev team, is that Castlevania fans still want the Castlevania Cosplays, as Legendary skins.

I totally understand the sentiments about those "cosplays". I suppose it was the only way for them to try and get more Castlevania characters into the game without paying even more or needing more time to model those characters…
And i'm still hoping they can someday find the time to model those characters, as they are still wanted.

Big Castlevania fan here and Dracula main since his inclussion.
Im surprised people here are saying that Castlevania content in this game is lackluster while it has been one of the chapters with the most content they have ever released. The only thing missing is a map (which is a shame tho, i would have loved a Dracula's Castle map).
But for CV chapter we got:
- Killer
- 3 skins for the killer
- Survivor
- 3 skins for the survivor, one of them legendary
- Dominus Rift pass, which i think it was the first licensed rift pass we got
- True Form legendary skin for Dracula
- Deep rift recolor for the legendary
- Soma legendary skin for Trevor
- Deep rift recolor for the legendary
- 3 "cosplays" for existing survivors (Jonathan, Shanoa and Maria)
- 1 "cosplay" for existing killer (Death)
- More charms
- True Form legendary skin for Dracula
- Dominus tome, with stories for Dracula and Trevor
- Easter eggs
- Wall chicken easter egg
- Dark Lord Soma easter egg
And thats ignoring the post launch Dracula and Richter skins we got (even if the Richter skin is rightfully "controversial"..). Dracula new skin is incredible.
The Castlevania content was bloated. As i said the only thing missing is a map…
There is also one issue i have with Dracula. As i said he became my main killer and i love playing as him, but i somehow still feel like his abilities could have been different…
And i dont mean that they seem to be directly the same from other killers (95% of the killer cast is like that) but more like in the games Dracula almost never goes into Wolf form for example. I think it only does in his Dracula X Chronicles fight in the PSP. The developers literally said in the Castlevania chapter streaming that they knew Alucard could turn into a wolf in the games so they though it was "cool" to do the same with Dracula in DbD.
I think Bat form is fine as he does seem to transform into bats more times, but instead of the Wolf form i was expecting him doing different spells similar to Vecna. Dracula in the games is still a sorcerer that usually attacks with fire magic, blood magic, necromancy…
But hey im still happy with him and the content we got.
Saw rift was the first licensed one with pig getting the beartrap crown thing and tapp getting the barbeque outfit.
And i wouldn't say that anyone was complaining about the amount of content from castlevania. Its the quality of the content, particularly on the survivor end, where the complaints are mostly from. Dracula was absolutely fine skins wise and everything besides the wolf form being an odd addition where u tend to feel like playing in his vampire form more since its closer to the source material. But survivor wise, we got Trevor. Thats it. Then we got alucard, and soma. But what happened is trevor's "Skins" ended up counting as cheaper replacements for other characters, that some wanted WAY more than Trevor himself. And we got lots of cosplays in the rift, all of which again fully blocked those characters from ever joining the game.
I certainly did not want cosplays of my favorite characters. And i have not complained about how much content we got, i wasn't even that worried about a map. But the quality of the content recieved absolutely butchered some fans hopes and expectations, not even including Richter. I'm not trying to sound arguementive or anything just clarifying its about the cosplays that never needed to be there, when we could have had those characters in the game over a period of time. And the hope that they can still add them later, perhaps in another chapter. You are right as the Castlevania chapter was bloated, as they tried to shove everything in at once sacrificing several characters in the process. As of right now to me Shanoa, Simon, Maria, Sypha, Leon, Jonathan, and Death are NOT in the game. Just cosplays, that I don't even want to use because it does not feel like you are playing those characters at all.
- Killer

It's a pretty disappointing half measure yeah. I don't want to play Trevor wearing Simon's clothes and a wig, I want to play Simon!
Not being able to complete the Alucard, Trevor, Sypha or the Alucard, Richter, Maria trio bothers me a lot. We were so close to the Castlevania 3 cast and Rondo Blood cast reuniting (except ig Grant but even the anime couldn't be arsed to include him). It's just strange.
Richter and Alucard only have voice lines in lobby too, which is just lame (though I love Alucard's model). Ik we're basically just retreading the same ground, but Castlevania deserved the whole 2 Survivor Killer + Map combo instead of just Survivor and Killer. It kneecapped the Collab from the start imo
Thats also my first time hearing of why the castle wasn't a map lol
I believe it was on a King or Slasher Radio interview that Mcote stated a Castlevania map was too samey an idea to do right after Forgotten Ruins.
Strahd was also the initial choice for being DnD's killer (he's literally the mascot of their horror book after all) but got passed on for Vecna because doing a licenced Vampire killer right before adding Count goddamn Dracula to the game was a silly idea.
It's just a case of poor planning imo. They couldn't make the obvious DnD killer because he'd be cannabalized by Dracula, and they didn't want to add the obvious Castlevania map because they had literally just made a dark fantasy magic stronghold.
So then why'd they do DnD and Castlevania back to back in the first place?? L BHVR
Simon Belmont is my favorite Belmont in the whole series and I just can't stand that cosplay on Trevor lol. I was fully expecting the resident evil chapter 1 treatment of 1 male/1female survivor/1killer/map package with legendaries. Hoping that it was gonna be Simon and Shanoa. Man did I ever get roundhouse slapped in the face when not just 1 but both ended up cosplays and the chapter was cut in half lol. I just hope they can turn things around eventually and make it right.
A 2nd chapter would be able to fix all of those problems if they are willing. And its not like Castlevania isn't popular in the game, nearly every 2nd trevor/alucard/soma i've seen is a p100 and Dracula gets used alot more than Xeno or even Vecna. Its just that barely anybody talks about Castlevania in the game

The Castlevania content in DBD is lackluster, which is a massive shame because the series has so much more to offer the game.
Perks? You'd think we'd get unique items like the RE Collab with mystical subweapons or magic abilities. Instead the perks we got were wacky, but still completely forgotten about after release.
Killer? Dracula is cool, his visuals are peak vamp. There's just not much to talk about since his abilities are similar to other cast members. Still love his inclusion.
Map? Personally, I think the team could have put more effort into it, given it doesn't exist. The game's biggest missed opportunity by far aside from Englund Freddy, and it sullies the DnD map because the devs explicitly stated the only reason we didn't get a Castlevania map was so Vecna could have his Dungeon.
That aside, I think Alucard should have been a full second survivor rather than a skin, but it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things. I wish Simon, Shanoa, and Sypha were Legendary skins rather than costumes, but it is what it is.
I hope we get a sequel Chapter with Death (ignore the Nurse skin), Rose Belmont, and a map. Rework/buff a few Drac and Trevor perks, and I'd be much more positive on how the series is handled in game.
I agree with everything you said lol, I even alredy had an entire 2nd chapter post in the suggestions/feedback section with death as the killer, the castle as a map, and legendaries of the cosplays. Bhvr doesn't realise they set a standard with resident evil and silent hill having legendaries of each character BEFORE any cosplays were made, they broke that standard with the Castlevania chapter making cosplays of nearly all the characters in bulk without regard for bigger fans of those characters. Other players see the cosplays as "good enough" but fans of those characters certainly feel like they got slapped. That rift never should've had cosplays and they should have taken the time to bring those characters into the game gradually with the time required to make legendaries. I have no idea why they rushed it all in.
Thats also my first time hearing of why the castle wasn't a map lol
-
Another thing bots aren't good at is they never read the fact that there is only 1 other survivor left standing while they are on hook. So they will never miss the skill checks to allow for a faster hatch spawn. They prioritise their own survival even in that case.

There are a lot of players in this game that will straight up ragebait you, or make things up from their perspective. I've met many players that stood out as especially rude. Best thing to do is ignore their opinions if they start saying anything negative.
I've had a round where a pyramid head tunneled 2 people off, the other survivor besides myself i could see crouched in the corner of the map the whole game because i was Dwight with his perks on. The game was dragging on but i refused to hide so i started doing a generator. I watched as the pyramid head went over to the other survivors hiding spot, and then started messing around with them. They both came over to me, and then pyramid head decided to knock me down, drop me constantly in his barb wire trail, and then mori me. Letting the person hiding get the hatch. He than said i should have been doing the same as the other player snd hiding all match to survive. A feud started with that pyramid head amd when i was playing one of my mains, i wiped out a team of survivors rather quickly as i had all 4 on hooks at the same time. I then noticed one of them was that pyramid head lol he left long before i could say anything.
I've even had a hillbilly tunnel me out when i was 1 tick left from getting red rank 1, so i lost a grade. I was starting to complain about the loss of the grade in the end game chat and explaining i was close to getting red rank 1. The killer made fun of me for it. The very next round... the same hillbilly tunneled me specifically, leaving everyone else alone to escape. And laughed about it again in the chat.
I have had dozens of killers turbo tunnel people off hooks, griefing all the way or even slugging the whole team before hooking. And would always say ggez at the end. It happened so often id come up with silly retorts like "you know what else is ez? A Toasted - Bologna & Ketchup sandwich! Best thing since the invention of the toaster!" And i'd have fun with the confusion.

My main killers are: Xeno, Dracula, Skull Merchant, Chucky, Rize. I do however play the whole roster regularly, on both sides.
I avoid tunneling as much as possible, unless the round starts going south and someone on deathhook shows up as an opportunity. I also do not slug for 4k. I always hook and play the hatch game unless the survivors were particularly toxic.
I tend to favour stealth builds and my most used perks are Unforseen / hex: plaything.
I play chucky and skull merchant with full stealth builds, and it tends to often be my highest kill rates. I primarily love using chucky's iri medallion which favours much longer stealth over using dashes. And skull merchant, i miss having undetetectable on drone placement as im pretty decent at knowing the right distance to turn my terror radius off to pull someone off a generator, or even just turning off red stain midchase for mindgames.
I used to enjoy Sadako for her on/off stealth and the challenge. But since they turned her into spamako I feel obligated to avoid teleporting as much as possible to avoid "spamming" as i never cared about condemned kills, I play for hooks.
Xeno is my heavy hitter for overwhelming people in chase. But most of the xeno's rounds are either the easiest i've ever played, or absolute sweatfests. No inbetween because his counter is 100% benefits to 1 side or the other. And swfs love making multiturret safezones.
Dracula I play with all the forms constantly adapting midchase as he is meant to. I know others prefer going the whole round as wolf and ive got a build for that too that does infact work. But he is at his strongest when using all of his forms. He can however lose to good loopers as hes kind of a jack of all trades master of none, and all of his forms are weaker than the powers they are trying to emulate, which I can clearly feel sometimes.
Rize I barely play due to the communities views on ghoul. I'm just a big fan of Rize from the anime and was suprised she made it into the game. Unfortunately as the easiest killer to play across the board. I don't think i've lost with her yet.
I also play a fair amount of The first as hes pretty comfortable to use seeing as he cuts through any form of bullying. But I refuse to bring aura perks on him to play "honorably"
Lastly i also enjoy krasue's vicious chase mechanics and 3rd person gameplay in head form.

"there are situations where a successful teleport still doesn't provide enough pressure to secure a hit."
If you think of the survivors experience in this situation^ it means thats literally the only way to avoid getting hit by a relentless pallet shredding stunproof teleporting killing machine. To take that away simply guarantees he always hits which means no counterplay.

In my experience, survivors tend to position themselves very well against my potential uncloaks. HitnRun doesnt work for me at all sadly.
I got used to playing pre spamako - Sadako, and i'd play entirely for the on/off stealth mid chase. I also have skull merchant as one of my mains for on/off strealth. The main difference with wraith is that he announces himself more, but gets the mini dash to help with attacks, Which around certain loops can be pretty tough to avoid, and can probably be paired with extended lunge perks.
I noticed it also kinda helps to know how to play pig as her dash is almost in the same boat. And requires similar mind gaming

What aspects of HP Lovecraft do you find make the books stand out most to you as a reader?
The wording in the books certainly stands out as if they are from another time being almost a century old.
Then theres the way that there is a bit of racism but its not meant in an offensive way it seems like it was just normal terminology back then.
Also he often made his stories based on someone telling you of past horrible events leading up to the conclusion of what happens to them afterwords.
The way he discribes surroundings can often get rather confusing with the older terminology, but it still seems easy to mentally picture.
He also tends to explain things as being too terrible to describe which leaves the reader to their own imaginations, rather than it feeling rushed, it makes it feel more sinister.
And mostly the way he makes the reader feel like the human in the story is insignificant compared to whatever they are up against, often making the story end in dispair/hoplessness/insanity. Rarely ever any "good" endings.
My favorite one is about the Germans in the submarine somewhere before world war 1. Where they took an American gunship prisoner, then let them swim back to their ship only to shoot them in the back. One of the bodies floated near the sub and had an artifact that they took. Then one of the Germans saw the body with the artifact - flip over and swim down. Later in the story only 2 men were left as they were all going mad and killing themselves or eachother. While going down in the sub to where the artifact was subconciously leading them, they saw out the windows of the sub in the dark what they thought were dolphins swimming alongside the sub. Yet started to question why they were still following as they said dolphins couldn't swim that deep. Then one of the 2 men lost his mind as well saying they weren't dolphins, they were the dead americans they killed. Eventualy 1 guy remained and stopped the sub on the bottom of the ocean (because it broke down), got out and started walking to the giant under water temple the artifact was pulling them towards. And thats the end leaving you to wonder what he found down there, how much longer he survived etc.

Normally for someone playing both sides i would say to play killer with a survivor mindset. (Since when a round goes south on survivor there is nothing you can do except get as many points as u can and hope the rng gives you hatch) so understand that killer rounds can turn out just as hopeless and you aren't supposed to win everytime.
But since you are playing killer the entire time as a killer main:
- Play your favorite killer for the fun of your favorite character/playstyle, not to prove you are good at it.
- If survivors start getting toxic, treat them like npc's/bots. Their opinions of you are no longer of any importance and you can just play against them however you want, including if you just want to peacefully wait for the next round by staring at the sky and taking a break (get some food or go to the washroom or read some forum stuff on ur phone etc) while they are forced to do all the gens and leave with no more action.
- People saying hatefull things to you can be completely ignored by clicking the leave button. The chat can be hidden but you are still tempted to open it. Even if they send you messages outside of the game you can just delete them without reading them. Afterall if they are taking time out of their day to throw insults at you, they are expecting a response so they can continue the conversation and throw more insults, just click skip.
- Experiment with new things in the game, such as trying out new perk builds, or challenging yourself in new ways like playing as trapless/perkless trapper and somehow still managing to win with your skill alone. If you lose, you alredy have that thought in the back of your mind that its fine because you were trying to play handicapped. (Sounds annoying but its somehow really satisfying to win that way). Another thing to try is to play each killer on the roster, and when you get a 4k, move onto the next killer, until youve gone through the whole roster. Can even try for adept achievements that way.

When using him i don't tend to rely too much on the addons. I got one uncloak speed and the other just "they can't hear which direction the bell is coming from". I find its more about getting used to on/off stealth, and when to go in and out of cloak mid chase to use the lil sprint burst he gets - aggresively. Aside from that, knowing where you can body block with your speed.
He also excells at catching injured people while healing, since he has lots of speed while cloaked and can use the nurses perk to find vulnerable targets quickly, to either get quick downs or apply more injury pressure. Hes not like legion for keeping the whole team injured, but better at ambushing them while trying to cut through antiheal perks.
I tend to do well enough with him. If you just chase people m1 out of cloak the whole time of course it'l often be in the survivors favor, but he can afford to drop a chase any time and find another person out in the open very quickly.

Im not too familiar with wrestling companies but they seem to be talking about Rhea Ripley twice now. Once from a comment directly to her from dbd, and then she showed up in a survey. I dunno if that means they want to collab with just her or WWE as well. Haven't heard of AEW but that definitely is the DBD logo
