It has probably already been said, but I think that behaivor ending the forums is purely a money saving decision. I'm sure they know discord is a terrible alternative to place their communication, however it is definitely a much cheaper alternative. It still sucks though
-
Yes, Ive noticed that the time remaining until the match starts is missing. I wonder if thats to combat survivors from dropping out at the last possible second to screw around?
-
I'm kind of perplexed. If getting 100% achievements is important to you then you must make the commitment to get every chapter to do so. If its not important to get 100%, then you don't. Isn't it that simple?
-
Sorry, but no. The developers don't work for free. All that time put in the design and modelling has to be recouped in some way. This isnt a charity.
-
I'm not sure why survivors are, on the one hand, complaining about killers running slow down perks, and then complaining about killers running aura perks. Like what gives? Are killers supposed to run no perks? What would survivors complain about then. Oh yeah, tunneling…
-
It walked from the left side of the woods to there, looked at the camera a bit, and then ran back to the left
-
Definitely a hint

It was like 6 or 7 minutes ago
-
I was watching the youtube stream and saw someone walking in the background from left to right. Stopped and stared at the camera from afar and then ran to the left off screen

Scott thinks he'd be boring because his "Power" isn't unique, I think Scott doesn't understand where Jason's True strength lies.
Everyone knows Jason's 4 key abilities:
- Brute Strength - In the movies he's walked through closed doors/walls, picked up people in sleeping bags to smash against trees, even crushed a guys head with is bare hands to the point his eyes pop out. No Doubt Jason is very Strong.
- Immortality - No matter how much abuse or damage he takes, he always gets back up to kill again, even if he's dismembered, decapitated, frozen buried, blown up… He always comes back for the slaughter.
- Relentlessness - Once he wants you dead, he pursues until he gets you. Undeterred, untiring, unmatched in his sole objective to kill. He always finds you no matter where you are, as if he has a 6th sense for it, and no matter how slow he moves, you can neither run nor hide from this fiend.
- Surprise - Jason is overwhelmingly good at appearing when you least expect and killing off your friends without you ever becoming aware until it's too late. Even if you think you lost him, he's just around the corner waiting for you.
These aspects have all been done, and to a degree, Scott is right, but there is still 1 thing everyone overlooks about Jason that I believe could prove to be fun:
5. Improvisation - Jason, actually, doesn't have a "Favorite weapon". Many believe its the Machete, because he uses them so often, but honestly… He uses whatever he finds lying around, and worse, He's good at using them. Bats, Oars, Knives, Corkscrews, Hammers/Sledge Hammers, Rocks, Weights, Snares, Bear Traps, Throwing Axes/Knives/Javelins, Bow and Arrows, Just literally anything that can be used to kill, he puts to work.
Now Imagine, you start a match and Jason has nothing in his hands, or maybe just a machete, for standard melee attacks, but then he walks over to a locker, opens it, and walla… Now he has a bow with 1 arrow good for an insta down! Or maybe he has a big ol Oar in both hands with double the normal Melee range? What if while he's chasing you, you suddenly end up in a Snare? How crazy of a concept does that sound?
To me, Jason has the potential of being the only killer capable of short, mid, and long range attacks as well as trap placing… And if done right with some limitations on spawn rate of these weapons + RNG, no one would ever know what new toy he found in a locker until he attacks. I think it would be lots of fun if they brought him into the game, and used this overlooked aspect as his Prime Ability.
Would you play him?
Absolutely fabulous break down. And some people think he'd be boring. They don't have imagination. You sir, do
-
Great concept. It was simply a crime not to have added Negan as a killer when TWD chapter was released
-
Exactly, if the survivors don't play as a team you will get rolled. It doesn't mean killers are overpowered

Ok so don't play Asymmetrical games…literally complaining about the genre of game. Go play something else.
-
You seem to be complaining that playing survivor is too difficult while also complaining that while playing killer you constantly are being blinded or stunned, hinting that killer is too difficult? I don't understand your point.

The fact that I can get slugged for up to 4 mins in almost every game that I play is an amazing feature in this game. Especially when the killer slugs me just so they can mori the last survivor. Some of the best moments of my day. Nah on a real note the last 2 survivors should have base kit unbreakable bc that literally happens me in 95% of the games I play and it can't just be my luck. It's super unfair and not to mention super not fun and an unnecessarily big waste of my time.
If you are being slugged for 4 minutes every match then it means you made a mistake or played poorly to get downed in the first place
-
Ah ok, the first sign of adversity and the survivor suicides. Grow a pair
-
This is why killer mains can't take survivor's concerns serious, ever. Posts like that

thank you Haunter
-
anyone have a link to these changes?
-
You do realize Dead Dog Saloon isn't an actual place on Earth? Its the Entity's realm.
-
cool thanks for the responses all

This status is either next to useless against SWF or just straight up broken against solo queue. You can lump perks like Knock Out in here too. It robs solo of crucial game info and negates any aura perks to help your team like Kindred. Meanwhile in a SWF you can just tell your team where you’re at with no problem. The only somewhat balanced thing it’s used for is countering WoO, but really is that worth all the problems? I hope this status is next in line after devs finish the Mangled changes. But i’m not sure how it can be reworked, any ideas?
You wrote it negates any aura perks to help your team like Kindred. Umm that's kind of the point of the perk. You as a killer are trying to hinder the teamwork of survivors by "blinding" them. How is that any different than survivor perks showing where the killer is.
-
That background is in the current advent calendar. We just haven't gotten to that day yet.
-
The thing is Hex Pimento is no secret. The totems placements are know to the appropriate survivor that previously cleansed it . If said survivor doesn't recleanse it thats on them.
-
I do not like this ghost mode idea. It allows a survivor free roam of the map without any drawback. That generator that's 99'ed on the other side of the map? Let me skip on over and wait for this ghost mode to end and finish it up without any pressure from the killer. No thanks
-
Sloppy can be used many times without requiring you to down a survivor AND hook them on a special hook. Kind of obvious
-
The chair / stool is a big clue I think
-
Catch up mechanics are not needed. Keep your "everyone gets a trophy" mentality out of this please. If survivors are in an unwinnable position and choose to hide instead of trying to do gens; well that says more about their fragile ego than anything else. Take your medicine and move on
-
I don't mind his stories. I like insight into the dead by daylight universe, and this gives it.
-
This question needs to be asked on a DEV stream.

Under certain circumstances you may ascend and the entity will bless you.
In that case in EGC in the basement you can take the killers weapon and kill him. (May or may not be true)
I'm leaning towards not true.

Laurie's coughs are fairly noticeable too
-
It should never be easy. Its better to always be on your toes.
-
Yeah doesn't complete for me either
-
I can't get the Dead Hardy tomb quest either. It never completes.

I don't believe Yun-Jin discovers that the Trickster framed his own kidnapping. She saw the knife on the ground, yes, however it was stated that she knew he always carried one with him for "protection". Its shown I believe to further give her an inkling of doubt as to what's happening.
-
Well written. But that is what makes Yun-Jin a fascinating character. More so than the rest
-
Yun Jin and the Trickster is my favorite lore
-
Was this typed before the newest entries? Seems like Ji Woon has pinned it all on Lucas
-
It doesn't explicitly say that Yun Jin knows for sure. Even in the recent tomb lore. Actually it mentions that she really doesn't know what he does in his off time. She may feel that SOMETHING is up with him, but not exactly what.
