Camping is a massive issue especially for Solo Players for sure, SWF can deal with this easily with rushing gens since they can coordinate and tell their teammates to do gensWhy not give buffs for Solo Players too? Like in Identity V

Give messages for the players so they can send across to their team, to let them know that the Killer is camping and such
another idea is having perks, some survivors in Identity V have 60% increase time being on the Hook and there are even perks that can help make it slower. So why not in the future have a perk that makes you stay on the hook much longer? or simply rework it when killer is near but no teammates around
This is such an amazing feature and would destroy killers who camps
we already gotten the buff from DS claws this patch telling DS is being chased, so it is more leaning towards SWF balance
Identity V ? You mean the game where infinites are back because they need it to make the marketing abusive enough to work, like they did for dbd ?
Sounds like a nice example.I'll just say "no" tho. Camping/not camping is one of the only mindgame left to a lot of killers, especially stealth ones.
-
The game has always been survivor sided, and still is.
It's just slowly reaching a better balance and people that are bad at the game are just afraid of getting actually bullied by killer players that are actually better than them. -
Because survs are used to have the rounds handed and being able to meme, and are slowly feeling like they're losing control over the rounds since it's becoming slowly more and more balanced.
They now feel like they're gonna slowly have to actually step up their game, as they suggested to killers since day 1. And it just scares them because most people are totally disabled when playing this game and know they'll be eternally bad because they're incapable to think or to etablish a simple strategy. -

Some basics for new killers -
To me, it looks relatively normal.
Tho, I heard there's a bug with Agitation 2 that makes the killer not to lose the buffs when not carrying and such. Could be due to that.
Did he have Agi 2 or 3 ? -
Not the worst idea I've read in these forums honestly, and simple enough to be potentially good.
-
You're asking why ? Because until recently, the game was revolving about bullying killers, for the most part, and it's just going on the right tracks only since very recently.
-
A survivor that's still alive.
-
If I were forced to play that guy, I'd run Ruin, Remember Me, NOED and probably M&A or Enduring.
-
We already got a predator killer, and he's called Freddy.
Owait, nevermind, he's a hobo survivor in the current state. -
I get called a hacker pretty oftenly.
Just laugh and leave after killing them. -
There can be hotfixes before the next chapter, actually. Hard to tell if they're gonna happen tho.

Doing fine, and yep, still lurking around.
This build is not for tryharding tho. It's just the build I use on a regular basis for BP/Anti-cheese (mostly to hunt down Ruin/NOED when I play solo to make sure my team doesn't die to a single totem)u won't believe me i run my build for 10 months
(side effects of watching ochidos gameplays)
btw i hope u didn"t got banned on communityNope, I just dropped steam's forums, mostly because bait threads were fun, but now it's exclusively bait threads there which became rather boring. It's turning a bit like that in here too, but at least there's some decent threads around.
Still not banned from steam forums tho, I just barely check them anymore. -
I don't think any date has been revealed so far.
-
I doubt it's bannable. Gonna be hotfixed rather soon.
Tho, spreading the fact it's buggy is probably very bannable. -

About the "medium vault" issue, sprinting isn't the only factor. You need to come toward the window, in front of it, in order to quick vault. There are some spots where this doesn't happen though. My instance on Father's Chapel I was running STRAIGHT at the window, for about 15m, and I still did a slow vault. Didn't change direction or stop running or nothing. It was 100% supposed to be a fast vault but it wasn't. There are a few windows like this.
Could use a video for that. Were you against clown, eventually ? If you're intoxicated, you cannot quick vault over vaulting spots. That may be the reason.

These killers are not always effective themselves, but this build helps for sure.
They basically need any help they can get to make their chase better.
I eventually replace Enduring on Myers for Bamboozle, which can prove very efficient (and fun)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQCAK4-D7zEIf you play with this build tho, don't forget to play accordingly and to try to read your opponents. If he always drop pallets, don't eat the stun for free. Tho if he tends to loop a lot, just make sure to disrespect pallets and hug objects as you run in circles as much as you can

Imagine a plain Killer (Trapper without Bear Traps, Wraith uncloaked, Hillbilly without Chainsaw, etc.), without Add-ons, without Perks except those 2 and you're chasing a (pallet) looper.
Which of these 2 would you rather equip?Brutal Strength is more consistent.
Bamboozle can allow some surprise tho that can turn the round.
I'd pick Brutal Strength. -
I use it on Wraith, Myers, Trapper.

@RuniverMan, i'm almost certain i did. It was pretty hectic though. Maybe one of them went to stage two on the first hook. Wish i had saved the video. I would have a better idea of what went wrong. Thanks to all replies.
It's actually pretty hard to do. Lategame, you tend to make the last survivors to skip a phase

It's fine, Hexes are balanced because they're a "gamble".
KEK.That hurts
Not sure why I even tried to run Devour Hope at rank 1 anyway. Stupid of me to try any other perk from the (ACTUAL) pool of 6 available killer perks for high ranks.
-
Or they just need to make being obsession to have some actual DOWNSIDES as it was supposed to be in the first place.
At the moment, when it comes to being survivor, being obsession is nearly always a good thing, as most killer perks makes him to want you to SURVIVE for extended period of time (to get stacks/not to lose them), except for Dying light, that is barely used.
Not to mention DS/OoO that have pure benefits when you're obsession, which is rather stupid. -

My very first game today was a SWF team. It was the usual gen rush scenario (as all but one were red rank). The standard flashlight/dstrike/borrowed time bullshit but i played like a madman. Ended up with 4k and 3gens. I was over the moon. I maxed out every category EXCEPT Sacrifice. How in the hell do you kill 4 ppl and get a 7000 point sacrifice score? On top of that, it gave me a silver emblem. I got 8000 points every other category and iridescent emblems too. What kind of bullshit is this???You get 8k sacrifice by hooking everyone 3 times.

Survivor is easy to rank up since day 1.
If you "fail every single round because of your team", it's time to question your own abilities. -
@KingArthanal said:
it seems like they will never make hosting dedicated because of economic problems. Because lagswitching is a real problem atm, what do you think about random host. It could be the killer or one of the 4 survivor. Also if a survivor leave the game, host is given to the next random person. Abuse of lagswitch should be less of a problem then. Here's my suggestion :
Get a faraway friend on discord.
Make him host a round.
Try to play killer with 300+ ping. (Especially Hag, or Nurse)Come back and rethink your suggestion.
-
The windows mecanics are rather consistent overall. Most players are high ranks manage to estimate your lunge range properly, as it becomes rather easy to estimate with some experience (except sometimes against Piggy & Freddy since they're rather deceptive).
Windows have already been fixed a lot back in the past in that regard, it used to be way worse when it came to the range of the killer over windows.
About the "medium vault" issue, sprinting isn't the only factor. You need to come toward the window, in front of it, in order to quick vault.

1) I think they're working to remove most downsides of all add-ons at the moment. Pig doesn't have that many of them tho. Her add-ons are simply rather weak.2) 1 per minute would be kinda too strong honestly. Not sure you can compare her power to other killers since she actually has 2 powers, while most killers only have one.
3) The whole point of the RBT isn't to kill, but to be a time waster/an escape preventer.
4) I kinda agree with that.
5) With this too.
1.) That would be nice to see most of it gone and do agree that they are already weak.
2.) Time could be adjusted it was used more of an example but a way to regen a trap or two over the course of the game would be nice.
3.) Yeah I know it's more of a time waster but it should still have the threat thereof being able to actually kill present in the person's mind rather than an "I don't care I've got plenty of time." I would just love for them to make people sweat the trap a bit more and give it more weight than what it currently has. For instance, going against the trapper, I honestly sweat vaulting over stuff or going through loop lanes because of how much weight it carries and I'm always watching my step, same thing with huntress how I'm constantly looking behind me so I don't catch a hatchet to my dome.
The main issue with RBT is mostly that, on top of the RNG factor, it's rather add-on reliant to be actually a threat somehow. And if you equip add-ons for RBT, you just lack efficiency when it comes to your ambush.
Overall, it's a pretty mid-tier killer, tho since she got (arguably) the biggest kill rate at rank 1, I doubt they're gonna touch her before a while sadly. -

Good job. -
Just try to take some risks to get your save. Get out of your comfort zone.

Frosty eyes people are usually clueless people.
Wearing them usually means you're rather a new player, mostly because you lack cosmetics, and you're totally unaware of the fact that using glowing things is actually hindering you greatly by making you more visible. The only killer I use blue eyes on is Doc. With Prestige outfit, he looks horrifying.

It's because for whatever reason hatch doesn't count as "an escape."That's why the "escape with new item" daily and adept achievements need to escape through the gate to happen. If you escape through hatch you don't get them.
I got Gold today due to someone taking the hatch, actually. Not sure it's due to this.

stop trollingIt's not trolling. NOED has a counter, that is breaking totems. Seemingly, this guy has trouble with this simple concept. I'm just pointing it out.
Similarly, survivors have hard time understanding that "repairing" is the counter to "hard camping" and actually want to force the game their way.
-
Just break the totems.
/thread -
A secondary objective would be better as stated above.
I would personally like map specific objectives, like having to move a truck in a map, using machinery on another, and such, to unlock the extra gens. -
This, paired with the 30s limit, is what makes it not viable. Especially since most of the time, you cannot afford the time to go kick a gen after hooking someone as you need to interrupt people doing gens.
-
-
Around 60-70% of killer perks at the moment, unless you consider "super situational" and "fun and casual perks" to be viable.

@RemoveSWF Repairing gens is an exploit.
If you're gen-tapping it is, yeah.
If we listed how many exploits survivors used on a regular basis, we'd be here all day.
Lol if gen tapping is an exploit then so is dribbling. Problem is, these "exploits" (like pallet looping) are okay to the devs. So they are not actual exploits.
Dribbling WAS an exploit, then it was patched to balance it - every time you drop a survivor they gain 25% on the struggle meter.
When are devs going to limit the number of 360s like they limited the amount of times a killer can dribble?
It's actually 33% now.

@Runiver can you post that magical "...K" gif here please? :')I usually use that one for threads with 0 arguments just trying to force things out of nowhere because "reasons", or pure bait threads lol.
This guy actually tries to make sense somehow, even tho he doesn't seem to fully understand (like most surv mains) why camping is a necessary feature in this game, that already has a counter and such. Camping is one of the only situation where the killer has some kind of control over the game, while the rest of the match is basically in the survivor's hands. Allowing survs to "freely rescue" would truly turn the game into a benny hill fest of toxicity.:'(
But..but..he equates a "camping nerf" with the pick up speed buff affecting flashlights..and he's asking for free saves...pweeease?
At least he tries to use some kind of argument, not going like "HEY, DO THIS OR U NOOB & STOOPID"
