no DS and it was there first hook, i let them risked getting tunnelled? i took the risk going in the basement to unhook them and stayed in there to heal, so no excuse for that behaviour

Was doing a generator on Haddonfield against a Spirit. I let go before she went for the grab but it registered the grab anyways. While I was on her shoulder the prompt for wiggling out was flashing and even though I was pressing A and D it wasn't giving me any progress. She wasn't able to hook me or drop me, she wasn't able to be pallet stunned. She could hit other survivors, but other than that we were stuck like that until end game collapse finally killed me. I also noticed that even though I was on her shoulder the HUD showed me as healthy.

Tea bagging, flashlight clicking etc. They got cocky and all 4 of them ended up on the ground. I got a 3k. Only reason I didn't get a 4k is because tapp had adrenaline and was right next to a door when I closed hatch. This post is just a reminder to survivor mains (not all of them) that you can't bully every killer. Never underestimate what a killer can do. And don't get too cocky.

Killer's can see what prestige you are as a survivor in the game lobby.
ye i know thats why they quit if there are at least 2 players p3 they leave the lobby, also if they have TV/yt in there name because most likely they are there just to be toxic for there youtube/twitch channels. same goes when you see all survivors in lobby holding tourches you just think here we go.

prestige you get cosmetics, also trophys for ps4, achievements for pc, xbox, nothing really major though. You do get slightly better bloodwebs also but again nothing major so i suppose it up to you what you want to do. do you really want to reset your main character and grind to get everything back for little reward? i think it would be better if you got some sort of recognition for achieving this like some sort of bronze star then silver then gold above your name to show you did it. problem with this kind of thing though is if a killer/suvivour saw a dedicated player at start menu they most likely will just quit the lobby. maybe a bloodpoints reward for prestige would be cool

ive lost count of how many times ive unhooked Claudettes only for them to give up my position to the killer. the other day i unhooked one in the basement then hid in a locker only for him/her to go down again then crawl to the locker letting the killer know were i was. what kind of messed up crap is that?

Seems like very good value then, although I'm not sure it would be powerful enough for streaming and playing. Also, the link you sent for the alienware one says it's unavailable and the rest of them are way more expensive for a less powerful one.

no catch my gamer pc was off ebay i payed £500 for it, i dont know what DBD Is like on it as i only play on console, always remember you get what you pay for.

It might be different for different maps. It looks like most of the shots came from badhem, and a bricked shack makes sense on that map. Red Forest a legit shack makes more sense. Thematically speaking. Like how Dead Doggs is different than the rest

The reason I am asking here instead of on a PC forum is DBD is pretty much the only game I play so I'm just for a PC that would very comfortably play DBD on max whilst also being to livestream at 720p 60fps and when not streaming also being able to record at 1080p 60fps. I have around 1k budget and I know that I'd get a much better bang for my buck if I built my own, however with no experience I think I'd prefer to go with a pre built.
Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

I don't know for sure, but my guess would be that the moderators wanted to keep discussion on the same topic within a single thread rather than having a whole bunch of threads about the same thing, and so decided to merge the two. Try not to let it bother you too much - after all, you said you started the thread because you wanted to see people's reactions to the new chapter, so it shouldn't matter too much who created the discussion as long as it's being discussed. It's better than having the forum flooded with dozens of threads talking about the same thing.
The thing that annoyed me was that i was the first one to put it up yet someone else is getting the credit for my post. surley it would of been better to keep the first one
