Away from keyboard. Meaning the killer was just standing still all game.
Also I just noticed, why are there rank 2 survivors using urban evasion and self care in 2020? That's the most shocking thing about this image.
i dont know where he was didnt look for him lol

Surely the killer must have been AFK?
I've gotten 8k blood points after I loaded into a match without realizing.
whats AFK?

Moved against the wall.
Got stuck in place.
ive herd and seen a lot of killers getting stuck on this map

Can you lower the characters auric cells on the Nintendo switch because it cost 500 now to unlock characters and I think that’s to much so can you put it back to 250 auric cells to unlock characters
they would not of put it up to 500 if they were willing to half it again

Hello, I know this has come up a lot. But I have seen so many ebony mori’s as a survivor lately it is driving me up a wall.
I know some people like to equate keys to mori’s and to an extent yes. A killer can Mori someone once they have been hooked. In some cases that's as soon as the first minute of a match. Just think about that for a second.
For a key you need the hatch to spawn, which is impossible to do in the beginning of the match. If all 4 are alive you need all gens to be done, 3 alive you need 4 gens etc. A survivor can't just escape in the first few minutes as a killer can just Mori half the team.
As a killer I don't mind keys. That specific survivor has to last the match for the key to be used and I do alright as killer. Sure it can be frustrating when 3 survivors get out when I could have gotten them but I barely see keys.
As a survivor lately it has been almost every 3 matches has a Mori and 1 in 5 it feels like is an ebony Mori. I hate Mori's as a killer. I will bring one very rarely when I get sh*t on by survivors because rage lol but I despise using them.
Anyways there's my two cents as someone who plays both sides. Thank you.
yes it annoys me when i see someone ive just rescued from the hook go down and die in the first minute of a game i think mori should be a second hook kill, i dont know if many know this but you would get more bloodpoints for 2 hook mori than 1

Eeeeeeeehhhhhhhh, yeaaahh I've heard that one before and I mean,
Technically..?
It's not exactly Sci-Fi horror in the sense that it doesn't have any of the usual Sci-Fi characteristics one would expect:
- It's not set in the future. There are no spaceships, or futuristic technologies, it's set in the 80s
- There are far more fantasy elements than Sci-Fi: throughout the whole show the Demogorgon and associated "Sci-Fi aspects" like the Upside-Down are constantly referenced and compared to Dungeons & Dragons. Making the Demogorgon far less like an Alien species like the Xenomorph, and far more a "demon" from a different "realm". At the most you could just call it a flat out monster.
ok

Just asking because about 4/5 players in my games don't. I personally think they were an incredibly stupid addition on the survivor-side. No one can even tell which charm someone has because of how everyone is running around and how they don't even display in SWF lobbies.
Killer charms are okay, imo. Nothing special. I use charms, although I don't really care which I have equipped. More customization, albeit pointless and lackluster. Do you use charms? If so, why?
i do use them but not for any real reason, i think one problem is that some people DC when they see the charms on hooks as this could indicate how good/deadicated a killa is

same here i also think that the alien could use face huggers a bit like pig traps as there is no other like this in the game

did you use mori? if so thats why you didnt get it, you have to use evil whitin tier 3 to kill them

@BabyCameron10 said:
The reason why I say this is because with the info that Paulie has put out and what leaks by daylight have said it kinda makes sense that it is either these two. Scott confirmed that it isn’t Candyman so we can chill for a bit about him. We know it is a licensed character and Dead By Daylight tends to go after Iconic Characters that are very popular and know by most people. Last Year for year 3 we got Ghostface, a character nobody ever thought he would even be released or come to DBD. My money is on Pennywise because Mathieu said before that he has wanted Pennywise in the game for a long time but the holders of Pennywise weren’t interested at the time because they were busy with the Movies at the time. He also said that he has considered Jason to come into the game but the whole mess with Jason lawsuit but hey we never know. At this point anything can come into the game which is making me really excited, what do you guys think?
Im still up for the idea of Alien with ripley/bishop or Corporal Hicks as suvivour and a spaceship style map

No, although I think they also have reasons for keeping it the way it is. If everyone could choose their own avatar, they could upload a picture of literally anything, and that kind of thing is very difficult to moderate, especially with such a small mod team. Even the Trusted members, who were specifically selected, as the name suggests, for being trustworthy in terms of maintaining a positive atmosphere and upholding the forum rules, can't select our own profile pictures, so I don't expect they'll be enabling that option for anyone any time soon.
The other reason, I believe, is because restricting the option to mods and devs means that those users stand out a lot more when they comment on discussions, making it easier for members to find official information on the forums if they need to.
ok

Its not problematic for me at all. its situational. I have no issue getting downs or tracking other survivors so slugging someone and allowing them back up isn't an issue for me. If you would like me to prove my time played i can screenshot my stats for ya no problem. Like i said the only time its a problem is endgame and it only gets to endgame when its a 4stack depip squad. The perk itself ISN'T problematic its SWF. but that's another story for another time.
i dont understand were this is going, firstly i never asked you to prove time played or questioned it, i simply said that the people mentioned would moan about DS because they are very toxic on the game. i have played against most of them a number of times and they are very VERY bad losers

Your personal feelings for them don't matter lol. The point is these and many other top leveled players who play both sides would agree that DS needs changes. Look past the name and look at the point.
i dont have any personal feelings for them, just saying they would complain as its a why to get around all there toxic behaviour. they dont like it when the shoe is on the other foot

If you're on PC, click on your picture in the top-right corner, and then select "Edit Profile". Then on the right there should be an option to "Change My Picture" where you can choose a new one. After you've selected it, remember to scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Avatar".
On mobile, tap the profile icon in the bottom-right, then select "Edit Profile". There should be a "Change My Picture" option near the bottom of the screen. Tap that, select your picture, and when you're done, scroll down to the bottom and tap "Save Avatar".
is there ever going to be an option were you can chose your own?

Sorry but I don't believe you. If you truly have 6k hours in the game then you would know how problematic and abusable DS is. Pretty much everyone has a problem with DS. Ask people like Noob3, Monto, Tru3, Otz, and so on, most will say DS needs changes.
and also those same people you named are pretty toxic on youtube

i did have a plan

@Equus said:
This happens because of latency. I have a clip where I get hit while the killer isn't even on the same floor (game map). From the killers POV it looks normal from the survivors side it looks like your clip. You can clearly see this on livestreams. Sometimes two streamers are in the same match when you watch both streams you can see the latency especially in chase. On the survivor side they are through the window while on the killers side the vault animation is midway. This ends in these weird looking hits on the survivor side.
This is the dev stream where they talk about this (starts at 15:34):
😊finally an intelligent response

The Xenomorph
4.6m/s
24m 🎯
Tall ↕
Power: Perfect Organism
Created to be the deadliest lifeform in existance. Xenomorph possesses abilities to get around defences with ease. After being Stunned by a survivor: 'pallet; grasp escape; perks', the next pallet to cause a stun will be coated in a thick layer of Acid that eats away at the wood. Any Survivor that interacts with an Acid Pallet will be injured and inflicted with the Mangled status effect for 60 seconds and the Deep Wound status effect. The pallet will break 15 seconds after it has been coated in Acid, unless it is reset.
Special Ability: Perfect Organism
Press the Power Button to drop to all fours and enter a crouch liked state. Once Perfect Organism is active, The Xenomorph gains enhanced vision allowing it to see through grass, corn, bushes and the like. Movement speed is increased. Xenomorphs lunge range is slightly reduced.
Perfect Organism deactivates upon a successful attack, or by pressing the Power Button again and enters cooldown for 10 seconds.
When activated and deactivated emit a hissing noise that survivors can hear with no discernable direction or distance within a range of 56m.
Special Ability: Parasite
Press the Active Ability Button to place an Egg on the ground. The Egg has a radius of 8m. When a survivor enters within range, the survivors location is revealed to the Xenomorph via Killer Instinct. Press the Secondary Ability Button to hatch the Egg, spawning a Face-Hugger into the map and to manually take control of the Face-Hugger. While controlling the Face-Hugger, the Xenomorph becomes a crouched husk and gains the Undetectable status effect.
The Face Hugger moves at 4.8m/s, has an initial Lunge animation of 3m with a fatigue of 0.75 seconds when hatched; can vault windows and pallets; and can grab a survivor out of lockers. The Face-Hugger also has heightened hearing capabilities and shares Perfect Organisms vision.
The Face-Hugger can only chase up to a distance of 16m from the Eggs location.
Players take back control of the Xenomorph when they catch a survivor or can manually end control by pushing the Power Button.
When a survivor is caught by the Face-Hugger they enter a Struggle for 10 seconds. While struggling they must hit Considerably difficult skill-checks intimitantly while wiggling the stick to fill the struggle bar. If the bar isn't filled when the struggle duration expires, the Face Hugger will latch onto the survivors face and they will be put into the Dying State. While the Face-Hugger is attached to them, they cannot recover, cannot be healed and cannot be picked-up by the Xenomrph for 15 seconds.
Once a survivor has been impregnated with an embryo, they cough loudly every 30 seconds revealing their location to the Xenomorph. The timer pauses when the survivor is Hooked or in the Dying State. The embryo has a duration of 120 seconds before dying.
- Up to 7 eggs can be placed in total
- Eggs do not recycle
- Survivors that are impregnated are not revealed by an Eggs Killer Instinct
- Eggs cannot be placed within 16m of one another
Xenomorph's perks:
Impaled - Your piercing instruments of pain cause survivors to be punctured deeper than usual.
Time taken for a survivor to unhook a teammate is increased by 15/20/25%.
"Maybe you're not keeping up on current event. We just got our asses kicked, pal!" - Hudson
Harvested - The need to have more and more hosts for your queen guides your actions.
Downing a survivor while another survivor is on the hook causes you to gain the Haste effect of 5% for 25/30/35 seconds.
"If the colonists have found that ship, there's no telling how many have been exposed" - Ellen Ripley
Hex: Hive Mind - The well being of the hive is priority, no one can be allowed to escape it nor endanger it.
If this totem is still active once the Exit Gates are powered, both levers are blocked by the Entity for 40/50/60 seconds. However, if this totem is cleansed before the Exit Gates are powered, any opening progression of an Exit Gate left unopened regresses at 100/150/200%.
"I guess we're not going to be leaving right now, then?" - Newt
Ellen Ripley's perks:
Signing Off - You're work is done here, now it's time to call in the report and rest.
When the Exit Gates are powered, gain a token for every survivor still alive, up to 3 tokens. Gain 25% stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains from 50% up to a maximum of 100%. The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-trial. While within the Exit Gate, reveal your aura to other survivors up to 128m.
"This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off..." - Ellen Ripley
Deal With It - Danger is ever present, you cannot afford to lose your composure.
When more than one teammate is on the hook, you leave no scratch marks for 30 seconds and perform unhooks 15% faster. Has a cooldown of 40/35/30 seconds.
"Listen to me because we need you and i'm sick of your bullshit." - Ellen Ripley
Just Do What You Do - Tired of being the hunted, you make a point to fight back.
The duration of the stun that a killer experiences at your hands is 1/1.25/1.5 seconds longer (does not affect grasp escape stuns)
"You've been in my life so long, I can't remember anything else..." - Ellen Ripley
Map: Hadley's Hope - Colony Base
what about if you could put the face huggers on a bit simlair to pigs traps?

If he hit you, he was close enough. Also how would you even know? Because you didn't see his weapon swing whilst you were looking in the opposite direction of where he was? You had no idea where the killer was, because you didn't even look behind you
played the game long enough to know that you have to be in the killers red beam to take a hit

It's hard enough being a new player, but explain to me the reasoning behind this kind of a matchmaking setup. I consider myself okay as a level 15 killer using a level 10 Freddy, but the game must think I'm a pro since it decided to pit me against survivors that weren't even double digits and had max perks with ultra-rare add-ons.
Almost every killer match is like this for me. No wonder a majority of players prefer to play as survivor.
a lot of people complain about the match making that seems to be a broken system, i maybe wrong but i was wondering (as you said you was an ok player) if the match making system is based off how well you are doing. i seem to get level 1 killers when im around level 7-4 and doing well but if im getting hooked killed or just a poor performance i tend to find the killers become lower rank for a short time, as seems to happen in other PVP games. as i said i maybe wrong its just a thought.

Oh
Then yeah, I'm on team WHY now :D
That's a baffling play if there are 5 gens left. You're much better off getting all 4 survivors up and running if it's that early than the benefits you get from doing a 1/4 of a gen or so waiting for you to get close to the Struggle Phase.
the idiot was also failing skill checks when co-op gens
-
@ALostPuppy said:
Did the killer have ruin? How close was the gen to being completed? Was the killer one of those who likes to charge back to the hook the moment someone gets rescued? If the gen is close to being done then she's doing the right thing because you should always assume a killer will make a beeline to wherever they hear a notification.

^This
Especially if this is the last generator. If it is not, I understand more of the frustration (since the killer might come back) or the frustration that they could heal you and you could be helping them with the generator. But if this is the last generator, this is one of the smarter (though ruthless) plays you can do as the killer is very unlikely to expect that gen being repaired with the survivor hanging next to it.
Honestly, this screenshot alone doesn't give enough information to tell if this was a good play, a bad play, or what.
