Dear Community,
I have just finished a Deathslinger match that started off badly.
I was chasing a Meg but when I hit her, she didnt get injured and stopped moving near the killer shack. I hit her a second time and she was still frozen and uninjured. I noticed a little red speed meter icon at the top left of my screen. I'm guessing it means I have connection issues ?
I was connected to the wrong network. I switched it back to my normal network. I went back to the game, the icon disappeared and meg fell on the ground like I had downed her (game registered my previous hits later ??).
I hooked her and for the rest of the match her team was altruistic and hook bombed themselves (so the rest of the game was pretty chill).
In the end game chat I got accused of being a hacker. I'm guessing the meg was accusing me ? I don't know if she reported me but I'm worried that if she perceived me as a hacker she might have reported me :(
Can this affect my game ?

number 1 question why/how were you on the wrong network? number 2 question how did you change from the first connection and stay in the game without DC? also was you using a VPN? if so why? futher more if you did nothing wrong then you wont get banned. you wont get banned off just peoples say so the need video/audio evidence, or people would just be getting banned for false reporting all day

Freddy came from the 2010 remake thats why we got quentin and not nancy

MrPenguin is right you probs going to have to tunnel or farm with someone, i dont think farming is a banable offence as long as all are in on it. Question 1 have you already completed the tome. if your answer is no have you thought of another root? if yes then its not really all that important

It's a chance.
You're not entitled to a 4k, and they're not entitled to an escape.. But the whole Hatch situation was made because survivors would literally hide for hours until the killer DC'ed at 5 gens.
this almost stopped me playing killer so im happy with hatch and egc

you will still get more or less max BP and the suvivour doing no gens at all will probs depip and get hardly any BP so i would take this all day

the same can be said if you find the hatch first and the suvivour has to open the exit door hopeing you go to the wrong one, but if they spawn close together you are screwed so i see both sides

That is not really a choice. Kicking gens during a chase is always a bad idea because of that.

I've been having survivors scream at me during my ungodly amount of playtime as Slinger for small reasons, like just looking at them and standing there for some fun when they're the last person alive and i've speared them, or even just shooting them off of the exit gates. Even though Slinger seems like one of the more fun killers for survivors even though he's underpowered, I really just don't want to be seen as 'that guy.'
standing there staring at the last survivor is a little bit toxic, kind of like a last F.U. i surpose the same as t-bagging at exit gate, makes no sense really on ether part unless they were T-bagging at the exit gate and you caught em i would do the same.

It all depends for me on how the others have been playing, if ive been hooked or injured or they just run past Gens and nobody helps then i will let them rot on the hook and take my free escape. i also dont like it when someone directs the killer towards you, i try to take him away if i can

crossplay is terrible, so many games ruined because of this. e.g Call Of Duty, Guns Up, to many to name but these are ruined by crossplay from personal experience. And not just because PC Has better pings theres also endless cheat engines, console would just die under the pressure.

The day before that, the same. Now I had two disconnections from the server. The game just kicks me off the match, it says "you have been disconnected from the server", shows a disconnection icon besides the killer and I get penalized.
I'm already at the 30 minutes penalty. It's getting unplayable this way. Please at least reduce the penalties to 5 minutes until you fix this errors.

The devs already have a system for detecting camping, so do you think that any survivor who gets camped should automatically have their rank saved? Let me know what you think.
Having the same thing when you face a tunneler would be nice, and especially if you keep your items and addons in the case of facing this toxic trait.
