Works both ways. Recently seen an increase in afk wraiths hiding in corners. Survivors are guaranteed to depip no matter what if the wraith remains cloaked.
Normally, especially since rank reset, it will be a guaranteed Black Pip unless the survivor in question did absolutely nothing to get their points in the game (i.e. cleansing totems for 1k each and repairing generators for roughly, with co-op actions, about 2.45k each gen, getting to a maximum of 18k.) And with the rank reset, it should become more apparent with the case as more Grey/Yellow rank Wraiths seemingly do this more and more.

Or she can speak in small bursts of English, since she undoubtedly has encountered both English opponents and teammates in her career. Plus, a decent chunk of her cosmetics have English text written on them.
-
Or even just Survival Points for recovering as well, since Recovering has been in the game forever but has never had a point reward.
-
1) In the Q&A Stream, they did confirm that they are tweaking various perks in the upcoming patches and chapters
2) No. If a gen is already regressing, then Surge will not affect it.

i don´t know if everyone here know about it, but you can hit throught the small fences in haddonfield, i am at the rank 1 and i still get people that don´t know about it
this is just to help you guys <3
This. I'm honestly surprised more people don't know about it, since Survivors have given me hackusations about it.
-
It's absolutely unbalanced, but Killers like Deathslinger and Oni have an easier time facing the survivors with their abilities than most other killers.
-
It can be considered a strat given that his ability is close range and directly in front of him, but for when he does that, it's best to just leave them on hook and complete the gens since it's just a suicide mission at that point.
-
If he had reveal add-ons, then that could be part of it, but his detection range and where you can detect him from is pretty broken atm.
-
You should both use the Flannel add-on so you can see where your blinks are gonna land, and practice the blink distance in general for going up and down platforms.
-
Fake pallets are weaker than Snares, and he has the SAME EXACT LUNGE AS EVERY OTHER KILLER. His teleport has a very long cooldown and he relies almost completely on addons. Y'all don't seem to understand what Overpowered actually means.

More Ash because i love him, less Nea because Nea

As a Bill main, I can confirm.

You going to have to plead to the Entity for that one. Or use the DeathGarden mask just to hide "it."

tbh, imo the biggest "You're Screwed" status effect combo is just Exhaustion, Mangled and Hindered. Because not only are you slowed from Hindered, you also cannot rely on your exhaustion perks, and not only that, but healing will waste a lot of time so you're better off being One Hit rather than waste time healing with Mangled.
The only problem with the Exhaustion part is that Exhaustion perks themselves are just gimmicks really, as you can play just as fine even WITHOUT Exhaustion, and you can't rely on the idea that a survivor has any Exhaustion perk at the beginning of the match without witnessing it first. But for it to be worth not healing when Mangled, it would have to be effecting them twofold.

Im just spitballing ideas really. Trying to get away from the "well, if you 360 no scope a hatchet while upside down, itll be a 1 shot" type of ideas people keep insisting on sticking to. Some of the ideas others are saying also sound pretty sweet.
That's all of what discussion and brainstorming is for. I do personally believe that would you had said originally in the post is a good idea on its own, being that multiple afflictions like Mangled, Hemorrhage, Blindness, Hindered, etc. It would be the ultimate "you're screwed" past just going down instantly.

There have been a numerous amount of different ideas, (moris are built in on the last survivor alive, keys help to open gates faster) all sorts. I think BHVR will have to go to the drawing board for a complete change to both. I would suggest that they do something similar to the Vanilla DBD where they take a portion of the community that want to volunteer to try it out in a private build. Possibly have a few ideas ready and see how the reaction is. The reasoning behind this, is that if they come out in a post describing the the idea, there is usually backlash until the players get to try it. I would think people will get a better prespective if they get to try it. :)
Yeah, because people don't get to see things in game mechanically from a simple blogpost, they wouldn't know at all how it would work, so getting a spare few players and influencers to try out these new ideas would be very, very good for overall feedback.

With the idea of madness, what if it did similar to the nurse addon for screaming? Any survivors around the point that your hatchet lands lets out a scream.
So essentially Infectious Fright that applies to the Hatches? Sounds like it would be pretty good overall.
-
Because she is such a strong mobility and Lethality killer, she needs a drawback on her ability, hence the cooldown and stun on her current kit. The added penalty for swinging and missing is because you should make almost absolutely SURE that you have the survivor on lock, which Aim-Assist, something that is automatically enabled, can slightly help with.

Imagine suffering from Madness from The Huntress.
It honestly would create some pretty interesting builds now that I think about it.
If it's not an exact copy-paste of Doc's Madness affliction, then it would open up some varied builds that could work together insanely well.
-
Given that it's a hatchet head molded from the fog itself, I believe it should still have the basic mechanic of injuring healthy survivors and downing injured survivors, but also give an affliction akin to that of Madness, since the Fog has been displayed to cause madness and uncontrollable fear since it is one of the manifestations of the Entity besides the Tendrils.
-
1) Cleanse totems, it really isn't hard
2) The same could be said for Bad Survivors and their stockpile of 2nd Chance perks
3) You said it was Deathslinger, a pretty underwhelming killer who's only really good when you master him, so take that into account
4) If you're in Red Ranks, expect every possible perk, because killers actually put variety into their builds.

There is nothing against defending a chest or standing by it. The ONLY things that you can report players for are: hacking, exploits, taking the game hostage or DC'ing (I think on the last one.) Camping, slugging, "tunneling" are things you can't report a killer for. In fact, I think it's easier for survivors to take the game hostage than the killer.
Aye to the last part.

I can understand some people getting upset as they just want a normal game or they have a challenge or something they're working on but I personally love it. Working as a team and trying to get the chest without dying is a ton of fun. I'll black pip with little points any day to face more of them. I think I've seen maybe four in my almost 2 years of playing. I wish they were slightly more common. :/
If they ever added a new game mode I would love a 'Defend the Chest" objective.
If only they would ever implement new gamemodes.

Yes, I was referring to your name. I’m pretty sure I either played with you or against you.
Then you most likely played against me, since I've been a killer main since the Xbox release. Beast marks Bubba or just a Bubba in general? Because that's the Killer I was playing around the time I encountered a 'Beyoncette'
-
For such a vile person, I'm not surprised they got banned. If you just send a ticket to the DBD Support team with their account name or whatnot he can be banned for both toxicity to players and avoiding bans. Hope the info helps!
-
@AvisDeene said:
I think I was in a match against you either today or yesterday! I play a Beyoncette (Claudette with the shorts, red hair and shiny black top) and play under the name Meow.
i'm guessing you played against someone with the name Zarina = Thicc? Because your outift sounds familiar and that's my exact steam name
-
Blood Echo in its current state is overall 'eh.' Any slight buff, like a change in the duration or adding a status effect on top of it would be a decent buff and would likely make it seen more often in matches, like Dark Devotion.
-
Really, it depends on the side the person camping is.
As survivor, it's like a last "gg ez" before the game ends, so it can be interpreted as both, but as killer, it can be seen somewhat as a strategy depending on the killer that you're playing. But overall, I don't think it's all that toxic

I have never in my life seen the first one, but I love it
-
@brubli said:
No, you can't get banned for it but it is understandable why survivors would dislike going against it. I mean they don't really get to play the game, no chases, less blood points and they might not even black pip
I don't think I've ever had a game against a Chest Defender where I DIDN'T Black Pip. But I do understand the lack of bloodpoints and such, but a reprieve from the stress of the main game is sometimes refreshing, no?

Let them protect the chest, i'm having so much fun when i'm playing against a Bubba doing this :) Just go in a basement to get my item and BOOM, downed by a bubba, it's so damn cute looking at him. Survivors are coming to the basement to save me and we all get a 5 man party in the basement, sadly, 4 people die during the party :')
Ah, I see you are a man of culture! But yeah, defending the chest is kinda fun for both sides depending on the situation.

Lol run no mither and never be slugged again.
Or escape unless you're an absolute god
-
Slugging is just a strategy if the killer doesn't want to face the RNG of a hatch spawn or gate standoff in EGC. BHVR hasn't said anything against it, and Unbreakable always exists anyway.
-
I agree somewhat. Both are annoying, but locker spam is just inane.

let be honest Flashlights are meant to BM at pallets and to make clicky noises. Ever since the great nerfing of Insta-blind flashlights and The GREAT BUFFING of survivor pick-ups you have to go out of your way just to get a flashlight blind.

Please say this is satirical. Seriously.
-
He's honestly really weak man. Way worse than Nurse and Huntress
-
Auric cell outfits just seem like a stylistic choice from the player. Full Prestige? Fear Incarnate.
-
Mathieu said that he loves the Candyman series and would love to see him in game, and since Tony Todd has been prowling around most things DBD related, it makes decent sense that he would be the next killer in game.

they dont that's the thing, and you can never tell
If such is the case then how do you know that such exists and even know that someone ever used it?
-
If you know that they're doing so or even openly admit to it, then the same applies.
-
There's really a small niche of hackers that are seen around NA and EU, and although they are pretty annoying and have some serious issues, they do get banned within at least a week of any report. Just sending a ticket to DBD support with their Xbox account, PSN, or Steam ID would likely get them gone faster if that's any help.

It's good to see that people really do have the effect on the community here!
