I feel like someone makes this statement about every chapter. Give Behavior a break. At least they got rid of the scattered HUD.
-
Suggestion: A totem count added right next to the generator count on the hud
-
I feel like Leatherface's chaninsaw goes for too long now.
-
I think custom games to help friends learn would be good. lol @BlightBoi 's comment. :)
-
I would love to see cross progression between console and pc. I started playing on PS4 since that is where my friends play. I also bought the game for pc. If only I could have my PS4 progression on my PC, then I could play with my friends, get to use keyboard and mouse, and still have all my progression.
If Behavior cannot add cross progression between pc and console, I think mouse and keyboard support for console versions of the game would be nice idea instead.
-
A game where both sides get a chance to play without the game being over in like 5 minutes due to some insane snowball event.
-
Perk name: Die Hard
What it does: Once per trial, a skill check will appear during a mori animation. Succeeding at the skill check allows you to escape the mori and stun the killer.
-
be good at looping
-
I can agree that some Moris look really cool (especially death slinger's, that is my favorite one). But, I don't see how they could ever be fair unless they become just-for-fun animation replacements for dead hooking survivors (3rd hook), because then they would not equal an early win for the killer side. What makes keys different is that the hatch has to be spawned to use them (this requires one gen more completed than the amount of living survivors). Also, you have to find the hatch, and Franklin's Demise could make you drop your key. I feel like those things add a bit more challenge to when you can make use of keys. Moris are just like: Oh, did you get hooked once? Ok, well don't let the killer catch you again or you dead. Micheal Myers addon Moris are like: You just dead lol.
-
Maybe just for some obscure non-meta builds that make you a bit harder to find. But I have heard that it makes you die on hook faster like Aven said.
-
Go ahead and t bag if you feel like it... But, don't be surprised if the killer suddenly feels like tunneling you :)
-
I don't think meta perks are that bad to go against, because there are ways to counter them or play around them in a lot of situations. Some of the pink and purple add ons in this game are pure evil though.

To you but that's not their function your opinion doesn't override what they are ment for.
Oh, what are they meant for then? Do tell. While playing as killer (at rank 17), I have just ended red rank survivors who are clearly better than me at the game just because I had a mori. Maybe moris are to help compensate for matchmaking with high rank survivors vs. low rank killers? I don't know.
-
Moris give survivors less time and opportunities to survive games. I don't think they are fair at all really. They are just a quick flashy way to end games to me.
-
I like the idea. I found that one thing you can do if you already own some of the cosmetics you want to use is equip the ones you have, then go to the store and try on the new one you are thinking about getting. You will then be able to view them together. It is not perfect because you can't mix all of the cosmetics that you don't have, but it is a make-shift idea that works in situations where you own some cosmetics already.
-
No matter how strong or weak people say legion is, I agree that he is still annoying as fill in the blank. I think he is being used a lot more now because of his rituals in the current tome.
-
I have survived some games just because I had DS. I think it is one of the best perks in the game. It is like the only thing in the game that lets you inflict some violence back at the killer besides head on I think.

I agree that you should take the chance to get better, and yes just watching how a better player played teaches some things. The problem is sometimes these players drag the game out longer. Survivors for example if they feel no fear will not finish the last gen until they find the killer and abuse him for a bit. Killers have watched entire teams bleed out slugged instead of hooking them for some reason.
And sometimes the other side is really that much better and you’d prefer a new attempt. The worst is when I use a bad killer or meme build AND get matched against all rank 1s... whelp there goes that fun idea
I see. For game hostage holding situations that is when a surrender vote for surviviors and concede option for killers would be nice.
-
Some people view DCing as rage quitting, and some people view AFKing as denying others a full game experience. I understand where people are coming from when they voice those opinions. I think all that is missing is a surrender vote or some other type of concede option for players who don't want to be toxic but just want to admit defeat and move on to another match. However, I have learned that it is possible to have amazing luck in this game if you play your best at all times and never give up. Yesterday, I succeeded on a 4% chance self-unhook and found hatch against a rank 2 killer. As killer, I have faced a team of strong loopers that I struggled against but two of them made mistakes that I was able to take advantage of as killer and get them sacrificed by being patient. If I gave up and went AFK, I would have never saw those windows of opportunity (just realized that is a Kate Denson perk ha). Another thing you can do if you are being looped hard as killer and losing a game is just keep chasing and watch the paths that the survivors are taking to learn how to loop better yourself. I have found that there are looping paths in the game that I was not aware of until I learned about them by losing chases. In the long run, I think it pays in knowledge to never give up or go AFK or DC unless you have a real life situation that needs your attention.
-
I think Bhvr should just create a ranked mode with no moris and nerfed pink and purple addons, and have a normal game mode where everything is the same as it is now minus the ranks.

It's 4 minutes. Less time than waiting for the DC penalty. If you can stand the boredom of waiting for DC penalty you can stand the boredom of waiting to bleed out.
CONCEDING a loss is an entirely different thing. If there was a button that would make you die, not DC, die, that's a concede option. But what we are talking about here is the chess player just getting up from their seat and walking away from the game.
Conceding a game =/= rage quitting. People respect when someone concedes, they don't respect when someone pops off, pulls their controller, and walks out of the venue without even so much as a handshake.
I see what you mean. Maybe a team vote to concede on survivor side like in MOBA games would be a good idea.

It's not a hostage situation because you will die eventually. It's toxic, but you need to learn to just take a loss.
Another perfect example of enabling this behavior.
The problem is not so much taking a loss. It is the boredom of the loss having to take so long to happen. In professional chess matches and even trading card games, it is common for players to concede once they know the other player has won. It is just a way of taking your loss quickly and moving on.

I have no sympathy for you. Learn to take an L. You don't get better if you win all the time. I've been bodied as both survivor and killer before, but I don't DC. I take the L, learn from it, and move on.
What about if the killer slugs all four survivors and does not hook anyone and decides to just wait for everyone to bleedout. (Holding everyone hostage in the game longer basically.) And nobody has unbreakable.
-
nerf Myers' addons so he can't mori with them
-
"I am at defeat...is there any hope for this game and it's community?"
Probably not.

Clown is trash. He’s not even in the game. Only in ppl roster so that they get PoP from him. Pennywise though could actually have a power that turns him into some monster after he collects enough fear or something like that. While all clown does is he throws around ######### bottles that does basically nothing to survivors.
They slow down movement speed I think and make you view the game as if you are high. That's something... right?...

The game already has a clown, but does it have a DANCING CLOWN? I don’t think soo.
if they made the clown that is already in the game dance, that would be even more hilarious than Pennywise dancing. He would probably lose his breath and pass out though.
-
I never t bag or click flashlights as a survivor. Playing killer is already hard enough as it is. Especially if match making causes the red rank loopers show up.
-
Because the game already has a clown killer. It would be more interesting to see something different like a Vampire killer.
-
I don't think most of the culprits in scooby doo would be evil enough to be selected by the entitiy except for maybe Scrappy Doo. Now he is pure evil. (at least in the movie's canon).
-
Both Otzdarva and Monto are some beast killers. Fungoose is great, and I feel that he is underrated, but I think the OP was asking for killer mains while Goose is more of a survivor main. I saw a video the other day where Tru3 was playing survivor and the killer he was up against did not really try to chase anyone, and Tru3 said that the killer is playing very fair. I was just sitting there thinking fair? The killer is not challenging you at all dude. Maybe he was just joking though idk.
-
I don't think playing killer is boring, but it can take some serious focus to catch good loopers. A level of focus I often don't have. The cool thing about survivor side is I can just try to hide and do gens or look for totems when I don't have the patience for all the loop stuff.
-
Myers in tier 3 with mori add on. He does not even have to hook you once in order to Mori I think.

No offense but you're contradicting yourself. Why use iron maiden on legion if you are using distressing? The killer instinct is almost map-wide so you don't need a locker perk that is very situational at red ranks.
Also the best summary for why is weak is because survivors at red ranks tend to split up and deny legion from chaining hits. So the power gets wasted on 1 person who will instantly mend as soon as you turn around to look for more survivors. And he will escape if you try to end your power, because it is non lethal and you get decisive striked for ending it.
Oh, I see. So the main thing to do is make sure I am far from the other survivors when feral is happening. Thanks, I will try that next time I go against legion. Legion and Myers at tier 3 constantly kick my butt.
-
I often hear people say that Legion is a bad or weak killer. But every time I play against him, he is sonic the hedgehoging his way from survivor to survivor with his feral frenzy while using distressing to make almost the entire map his terror radius so nobody can hide. He's got discordance so he knows what gens 2 or more people are on. He could have barbecue and chili and use iron maiden to negate survivors ability to locker hide. He keeps mangling everybody and could find people healing with nurse's calling. Legion can just know where everyone is at all times and just rocket around the map cutting everybody. So, when people say he is weak, I really don't understand what they mean.
-
Not sure why this stuff happens. Today the pig was like 10 feet in front of me with her back facing me and somehow I got hit.

I would say in this case the assigned killer rank is absolutly ok. It's a little bit strange that you were matched with 3 rank 1, but perhaps there were no other players. But I think it should never happen that the rank of a killer is lower than the rank of any of the survivor.
I mean, the idea is that it's hard to escape and not hard to kill someone in this game. It's "Dead By Daylight and not "Survive By Daylight".
good points

For real? I thought a content creator such as them would be at green ranks.
I'm going to guess you are joking now.
-
infinite tier 3 myers with mori
-
I think it is kind of funny and fun to hit hooked survivors if they are the toxic, t bagging, flashlight clicky clacky, constantly making gestures at the killer, trash talking, keyboard warrior type of survivors.
-
The strangest matchmaking I had today was me (purple rank six) matched with three red rank 1 survivors against a red rank 1 Legion. The rank 1 legion downed all three of the rank 1 survivors within the first 5 minutes of the game. I was just sitting there like "uh oh..."

That's pretty weird man. Not the 5 minute thing. The thought of playing killer at rank 1-5 is weird.
Monto, Otzdarva, other popular youtubers and streamers.
-
not really.
-
It might be possible to just form a group of people who want to test ideas on customs games. I would join.
-
For suicides to get nerfed, the devs would have to remove the struggle on hook mechanic and just let people wait out phase 2. I find it kind of annoying anyway to have to keep button mashing to not die on hook.
-
Probably not since he already has his own game right?
-
Because sometimes I get a bit of lag and miss a skill check and then here comes y'all bleeding out of the gen lol.
-
They just need to disable the ability to play legion for anybody who is killer rank 1-5 so they can stop ending games in like 5 minutes. kidding/not kidding.
-
It does not seem like a big problem because it can only be used once per trial per survivor, and I see advance killers just slug and wait the timer out while they chase someone else anyway.
-
If we can force feed a ridiculous amount of lucky charms to survivors as a mori then cool. If not then, oh.
