When he's standing still, he already nas no shimmer. Are you planning to add the shimmer to a still wraith then?
-
I like these. I play trapper often, so I could see these working. I still think 6 traps in the game by default is the right amount, but other than that, I agree.
-
I don't main bubba, but I do play him more than most killers. I like all these changes.

That is what the perk is designed to do. If the killer is not camping, unhooking the survivor would be preferable anyway.
I thought the point of it was for last minute saves, not anti camping. There are a lot of other perks for that purpose anyway.
-
Predator: You want to make this a worse M&A? It needs no change. It's a beginner perk.
Fixated: Agree. I didn't know it didn't work when injured.
Wake up: Agree. Instead of Adrenaline waking you up, this perk should.
Technician: No need. Skill checks are easy enough as is, but I think the gen repair sound should have a smaller radius. That's its' real strength.
No Mither: That's why Iron Will exists. It already stops bloodflow and reduces pain noises by 50%.
Windows: Maybe a shorter one, like 15 seconds. That seems fairer than the current cooldown.
Mettle Of Man: Maybe you suffer from Deep Wounds when you receive a protection hit instead of dying. It'd have a defined role.
Lightweight: No. Just no. A lot of killers require sound to operate.
Calm Spirit: Only if it doesn't effects grunts of pain.
Camaraderie: No. If anything it needs a nerf since 30 extra seconds on the hook is ridiculous. This perk is designed for last minute saves, not anti camping. There is already perks for that.
WGLF: Makes sense. It needs a secondary effect like BBQ.
-
DS needs some major balancing. At least if they start working on the objective, hiding in a locker, or healing themselves, it should not work (especially with inner strength). If you hook another person first, and then find them, they can still have DS, so it should deactivate then too.
Main reasoning: It's supposed to be an anti tunneling perk. However, there are situations where you get to the hook and find them before their rescuer. It rewards bad play. If the situations that can be abused are removed, then I think the perk would be less frustrating to play against.
DS is supposed to be an anti tunneling perk. In its current state it simply isn't.
-
Well, when you hit a survivor, it's counted as a won chase. That's why instadowns are counted less, because you only won 1 chase, while you technically win 2 with M1ing a survivor down.
Just because there's a reason doesn't mean it isn't stupid.

Their talking about the sound that trappers clothes make when he bends over to pick someone up or set a trap...
I like these noises lol..... ash also makes the sound I think when wiggling lol
Even then I don't find that annoying.
-
Squeaky leather? Legion? XD
I thought you were going to talk about GF, as he's the only one who has that sound effect. None of the killers you've listed have that sound effect. Maybe footsteps, but not leather.
-
I don't think that's necessary. Just having the rank of the survivors would be enough information to assume what their items are.

Replace Ruin. It's useful in 20% of the matches and that's not enough.
You don't have to replace it with PGTW. You can use other perks that help you buy time: These can be perks that you help you shorten chases or perks that increase healing time (a lot of survivors still heal and don't wait for Adrenline).
Slugging can also buy you a lot of time. Infectious Fright + KO are actually great perks on every killer.
Last but not least, if you get genrushed, Bloodwarden is a nice surprise at the end of the match. As long as you don't play Freddy, survivors usually don't expect you to run that perk.
I don't expect Freddies to have that perk either. It's just too situational.
-
Joey already got the most recent one, he doesn't need another. Susie does need some new ones, but Julie really needs something different. Even frank has something different than default, while Julie only has a dark blue recolor with a slightly different mask.
They do need their own voices. I always thought Susie did, but it turns out she doesn't.

Yeah. It legit shows you EXACTLY where you're gonna land.
Well... It'd be good, but I don't think it needs to be purple... if they changed it to show a beam of where you'd land, similar to, say, the glass bead map addon... then it could be a brown addon.
-
That would also be cool.

I think the grind adds to the overall play time as you have a goal of unlocking every perk.
As for the learning curve; I think the grind actually helps more since you have to better your skills before having access to perks that make up for mistakes.
To be honest, that makes sense for survivors. Iridescent and ultra rare addons/items for killers should stay the same, but anything under common should be way cheaper. Perks can stay the same price too. Especially with the balancing for Nurse's addons coming up.

Spirit, to me- is possibly the most beautiful thing they added to the game thus far- nothing comes closer to true terror than being boom and zoomed off a generator by this elegant Spectral Killer- she made me feel scared as a survivor again- Is Plague’s lore is frigging’ heartbreaking- the Clown’s lore is possibly the most disturbing- that’s some real world levels of f*cked up believability Xx
I love the shattered effect spirit has... especially with the red kimono, the red kimono sword, and the Oni face paint... probably the best look for her, imo. It's just so disturbing seeing someone so tortured. I love that most survivors can't deal with her. : D
Plague's is. An orphan who was only trying to help people (in the backwards way of ancient people, of course). Makes me want to play as her, but she's so weak as killers go...
Clown, I think, is based off of an actual serial killer who dressed as a clown to kill people. Look it up, he's disturbing. I've actually seen a letter written by him, too. Creepy guy.
-
His bottles slow survivors down only a little, while huntress can theoretically damage any survivor at any distance. I get why huntress is slower. You're trading chase speed for long distance attacks.
Clown needs to hit survivors in order for him to even down people. it's not a fair comparison, even with the redhead pinky finger addon.

It's most likely he was taken by the entity once and for all, whether cast to the void or fully consumed. His last "official" quote was him obviously going mad, and requesting to whoever found his body to bury him. So it can be presumed any character without a quote came after Benedict.
"He was searching for Vigo last, so he may have been too busy to write them. Your hypothesis could be true as well, though."
I believe this is the answer to my question: that's he's too busy searching for Vigo to leave any more quotes for us. I think he'll be the archivist, if he comes back at all in the near future. You could be right though, since his fate is left open ended.

Sadly, I agree- I know they mean well, but *insert oof* they are a bit bad at trying to balance the new things with the old- and I most definitely agree that the next Killer should be an original- they’re fantastic with the lore of their own characters- but I can’t lie- the next licensed Killer I am most excited for is you know who Xx
I agree. They may have the best intentions, but so is the path to hell.
When they aren't constrained by licensing, man can they be good with lore and design. I thought Huntress, Legion, and Plague were some of the most interesting characters in terms of lore, and that Spirit is one of the most creative designs I've seen for a character in a long time.
-
I'd love to see this, but I don't think Sony would just let Behavior use it without it being platform specific.

Whenever someone brings up the wendigo people say that Hag is a wendigo because she ate her victims, or at least I think she did.
But anyway, a wendigo would be really cool in this game because wendigos can mimic people to lure them to their doom, just like when I fell for it in the mine and got that blonde killed by opening the hatch :(
With that in mind, the wendigo could have a power to imitate other Survivors. Gold Express has a Killer who imitates other Survivors and it looks like it works but of course would never work against a SWF group. I would love a wendigo, it's a cannibalistic tortured human with supernatural abilities and is perfect for DBD. Someone got lost in the woods on cursed land and ate their friends and then became a wendigo before being taken by the Entity.
Yeah, the Hag is one version of a wendigo, but I'd prefer the more monstrous version like Until Dawn's version.

So pretty much my idea exactly, then :P
I've thought that for a little while ago. I guess we agree. : )
-
I think instead of expose, it should just injure if you're healthy, after all, it's called Iron Maiden after a torture device. Nobody will really take advantage of the expose duration.
Either that, or make the expose longer.
-
Yeah, congrats! I still hope the tips and tricks of those who didn't win are still used by others... especially my freddy builds... : P

There are so many eras and cultures to be inspired by, Victorian era England, Medieval Europe, the Wild West, Ancient Asia... so many different areas... but the question is which characters would have it be fitting for them?

Endgame Collapse does those.
Closing the hatch does none of the above. Killer giving the ability to close the hatch just makes the game unnecessarily harder for survivors. It's okay actually in concept because without the closing mechanic survivors would easily escape.
But not with current gate placement.
But gates are random with exception of indoor maps. And gates can be easy to open if they aren't right next to each other as survivor.
-
Because hatch standoffs were boring and always in survivor favor.
-
Yeah, I've found that survivors who make dumb decisions will end up DCing when they're on death hook to screw with my sacrifice points.
-
If you're having trouble seeing which survivor is broken, just bring iridescent incense. It'll show you the aura of those that are fully sick.

Then Frank and Julie would get Blight skins? Seems fine to me
Yeah. That'd be the case.
-
I find sound to be an important component to DBD, so I always listen to the game.
When I'm playing survivor though, I find that I can listen to other things since it's easy to play survivor.

Joe has some nice outfits, Susie has some distinct and cute outfits, Frank has his varsity jacket, and Julie has a slightly darker default outfit.
Julie should have some distinct outfits! Why should Susie and Joe have all the fun? I like Julie.
Susie only has one, with one recolor. I wouldn't call them distinct from each other. Joe is the only one with variety right now.
Julie and Frank do have their P3 outfits too, but yes, there isn't a lot of variety with it.

Yeah, Legion needs more skins so ppl can make more combinations making their own Legion members… or is it just my way of thinking?
You're not alone. I've been hoping for Legion cosmetics for months, since they've only received one set since release, while Jeff has received at least 4 or so.
I'm hoping around christmas they'll release a bunch ugly hoodies for Legion, just because it'd be something different.

I'm pretty sure it affects second wind since all the perk requires is a full heal and we'll make it would give you that heal faster.
I see...

Just combo it with adrenaline lol. Actually while it probably won't be meta, I thought of an interesting quick self healing build.
That would be Inner Strength, Adrenaline, Second Wind, and We'll make it. We'll make it is so that you get second wind active quicker.
The Meta build is: DS/BT/Adrenaline/Exhaustion perk of your choice (usually either Dead Hard or Balanced Landing). As long as Adrenaline is the de facto healing perk, it will usually be picked over Inner strength most of the time. The fact you will get some use out of it, and it's not reliant on totems makes Adrenaline clearly better.
We'll make it doesn't affect yourself. It also doesn't effect healing effects like Second wind or Inner strength from how I understand the perks to work. It'd be cool if it did though, since that might encourage more interesting build combos.

Joey Blight skin... yo that would be sick
Joey already got the last skin. Maybe Frank should get it, since that's the default look. Hallowed blight only changed the appearance of the Default cosmetics.
-
Sure, he can chase well, but he's really bad at finding people and pressuring gens. Survivors hide when they can see his massive form, and he's purely an M1 killer, which makes him more susceptible to pallets and windows, as per usual.
-
Because the devs have been unreliable with balance changes when a chapter releases.
-
@Ghostingmyteammates said:
Id like a original killer in the next chapter
So would I. The game is already half and half. We need some original content with good lore and characters. One that I can grind for if I don't feel like buying it, which all licensed characters suffer from.
-
Inner strength won't be meta as long as adrenaline is as strong as it is, that and it's reliant on totems, which is RNG based.

It puts a marker on the ground that's adjusted by how much you charge it and where your aiming. Someone using it has complete control over every blink.
Is it effected by where their looking too?

I'm so going to use this for discussions later! XD

@MegsAreEvil said:
Moris and instaheals arent related, cause moris take peolpe out of the game, while instas only prolong the game or did you ever see a killer taken out by a isntheal?
Um... they reset all the chase progress of a killer depending which is used when, so it's just as big an impact as a mori. Moris can make the game much harder for remaining survivors, while instaheals and keys make things more difficult for killers. Same main issue here.

For Killers:
Absolute favorite is P3 julie. Nothing like seeing that girl covered in blood... What, you thought I'd say Suzie? XD
Although, Spirit's Red kimono, blade that comes with the kimono, and the Oni face looks cool too.
Doctor's Blighted cosmetics are also cool.
For survivors:
Jane's art cosmetics are nice, but I like all the ugly sweaters Especially Ace's.
I also like American Flag Kate with long blue jeans too.
