Of course no, from your avatar I know that you are rank 14 and you have no clue how strong she is .
Attacking one's character lets them know that you have no argument. At this point you have lost.

Dude she is broken OP without addons, she is not fun to play with or against this is not my opinion its streamers and killers main opinion.
Not really? There are plenty of counters. Spine chill alone is the bane of bad spirits, Premonition can let you know if she's phasing, double backing, sprinting in one direction and walking another, blinding them when they stay still to try to fool you, listening for her footsteps, Iron will to confuse them... just to name a few.
But Legion needed to be changed, but not to the degree they did. In that we agree.

I'd like a midieval castle, but that's because I have a killer concept: The Knight.

You see if a killer is viable depending on his kit. Add-onless legion is horrible, with add-ons...meh because his power can't do anything to actually down survivors but some add-ons bring stall potential, yeah.
Legion is suffering from the same thing Plague does. They're kits are useless because nobody actively heals/cleanses, and become M1 killers at that point.
The main point I was making is that nobody cares about the deep wound effect. If the devs didn't balance it around that mechanic, then we might be able to get a better feral frenzy.
Addonless Legion is possible, but very difficult in red ranks. Even I wouldn't be masochistic enough to do that to myself... : P

my idea is to grant the rescuer 1500 blood points only if the unhook was safe. If it wasn’t, the rescuer gets nothing. Unsafe unhooks already ######### your team (unless they have DS, but you can’t count on that), so I don’t think the rescuer should get a reward for it.
Also, it means that farmers are required to equip borrowed time to get their blood points . It’s still annoying to be farmed with borrowed, but it’s way better than unsafe unhooks.
Maybe not nothing, because campers do exist... but reduced points should be the route to go.

"Current Legion is viable."
Yeah, until purple ranks. When you are about to hit the 3rd survivor, the 1st already mended because he saw you running to the other 2, no big brain needed.
"The original gameplay fantasy is still there. If you like old Legion but don't like current Legion then you don't actually like the Legion gameplay fantasy, you like playing something that has no counterplay."
The original gamplay fantasy is a fast stabbing and agile killer that hits multiple people in a short duration. As you can see there is no fast stabbing or agile involved with the new legion. And he is not effective at hitting multiple survivors tho.
"Current Legion has a unique playstyle: The only killer that can quickly put pressure on multiple survivors at once.."
That just happens when survivors are extremely close to each other, don't know how legion works and are blind/deaf to not hear a terror radius and see him coming.
""Let's completely rework an entire killer because I don't find them fun" is not viable feedback."
You scroll through the forum and you can see people that stopped playing legion or quitted the game because he is very unfun to play, it's not just his opinion. A character MUST be fun to play as primarily, then you see if he is fun to play against. Yes, it's very viable feedback.
Saying Legion isn't viable isn't technically incorrect, but some, including me, can make it work in red ranks. Dismissing that isn't really productive. You both are technically right, he's viable, but not because of his kit.
I don't think he needs a full rework except of the Deep Wound effect. They keep trying to balance it around that, when it should be balanced around the running and stabbing. That's why most people play Legion. If the Deep wound part was scrapped or changed completely, then the devs might have some more freedom with the balancing of him.
Other than that we agree.

Yep practically the player will always get them in any loop, the important thing is to just practice. But I doubt they're gonna implement it.
Yep. I wish they'd do it, but they won't, because it won't make them money.
-
Um... they kind of are Prestige variants on their own due to how expensive they are (in both shards and auric cells). Since they're not default skins, then I see no reason for it.
I think they should be default skins, because the Legion is four members, not two, but that's how they decided to market it.
-
Always! : D

I don't really main one survivor. I can say that I don't play Ash, Adam, or David though. Just don't like them much, or their perks (although Flip Flop is great though).

I know, but my point is to be able to practice with the killer you want, It doesn't matter the AI level. It helps new players to see where loops are, using the killer's power and a lot of things.
True. But the bots won't help you train against bad loops, though. I'd still want it regardless. : P

I'm not crying about NOED? I'm a killer who uses it a lot, I just want more interaction in it in return for more benefits.
Your ideas are good, it's just that NOED is the only real counter to the Adrenaline build right now. Making it token based as well as a hex perk would make it too weak, just like the new Dying Light.

What? Its not hard, its very easy, since its an localhost server you don't need to send packets to anyone, its even more easy to make. I think its perfect for new players to get the mechanics of the Killers, using their powers and so on.
The bots don't need an incridible AI, just make that the bots run away from you when they're inside the killer's terror radius, trying to go to near pallets. You can also get the same thing with low ranks, they are very well trained bots and almost don't touch gens if you do a little pressure on them.
But that's the problem, they wouldn't be very good or very intelligent. They wouldn't be a challenge... and that's just with killers like Wraith and Clown which are the worst killers right now.
-
Because she is. : P
-
Yep! >:c
-
I wish offline was an option, at least for killers... but the main issues are:
- not many want this
- it'd be very hard to program
- it'd take people off of the main servers.
- How would cosmetics fit into this?
-
All I wanted was a decent Bubba game, but I got some real sh*t for playing bubba at rank 3. Some survivors think they're better than certain killers and shouldn't have to play against them. To be fair, two of them got away, but I kept chaining them down whenever I found them, so it was more like they were ultra sweaty, even more than I am.
That game I got my first salty voice message (I'm on xbox) and it was really funny. They complained about every little thing I did wrong, and he got even more pissed when I told him that "I don't normally play bubba". Called me a camper, a tunneler, all the usual stuff (probably because he died). Sorry mate, but I'm a jack of all killers, not just a single one over and over. I find that always get tedious. I was even running the adept perk build at the time, I don't know why you're complaining.
And yes, it was for a daily. Never try to go for adept at red ranks, since double pipping is a lot more difficult there than at lower ranks.
-
I love using amanda's letter with devour hope on any indoor map (preferably Lery's). They think you're a bad pig until devour procks. It's so funny. XD

Could be singular cosmetics instead of whole characters. That would be cool.

Killer... because I don't like relying on others. I don't have many friends to play SWF with. That and it's the harder role... I tend to like more challenging options. What can I say? I'm a Dark Souls player. : P

Good killers will always hear injured survivors without iron will.

Taken it, but I think this needs to be a bit more extensive to get better feedback to the Devs.

Best match was as Legion. My perks: Devour Hope, Thrill of the Hunt, Dying Light, I forget the last perk.
My initial strategy was just to stay in the area my totems were roughly in, good think they spawned closer together. Bad news was this was on Blood Lodge. Every survivor acted toxic when I gave chase. I used my Iri button to my advantage, but downing people at first was hard, since they were high ranks. For the longest time I had two tokens, but when I got three, I was chasing a Jake who was particularly cocky. he decided to Tbag at killer shack window, and I knew now he had to slow vault when I caught up to him. So then he goes down, I hook him away from my totems, and then go back to the three gens closest gen to the totems. Then it's just me defending totems. I got my fifth token while carrying a P3 nea. I drop and mori. I do that for every survivor (both tried to get rid of the totems, but by then too late) until a meg is left. I find her when going between the doors. She had the chance to go to hatch, but either didn't know it was there or was panicking... I got to it first and closed it. Then I got her.
Favorite survivor match was when I got Adept Ash. It's why I'll defend Flip Flop to this day. The nurse had NOED, and killed two survivors and I was the last one. No hooks were near me, and I had full Flip Flop. I was able to wiggle out, and run to the open gate. That perk saved me, and has saved me every time I use it.
Worst Match was probably as Michael, with scratched mirror, and got forced to a swamp map. Try as I might, I can't get anyone. Not very fun.
-
While your idea is good, I have one simple change that'll make it better: This perk is no longer a hex perk.
It's effect is so minor that it shouldn't be tied to a hex.
-
@The_Daydreamer said:
tbh I don't get what you are trying to explain. Right now Hex: Thrill of the Hunts gives more BP, increases the cleansing time for Hex: Totems and gives a notification for them. What do you want?
It can also be deactivated for a perk that gives BPs, and its effect is often very weak.
-
I have all except Bubba, Plague, and Clown.
I have to say the hardest part is definitely Gatekeeper, since that's something in the survivor's control.
Plague is really good at stopping gen progress, but Bubba and clown suffer due to Bad kits. Bubba has good perks, but can't take advantage of them very well. Clown's perks are only good if you find people, and even then he's bad at that.
Nurse I got on 3rd try. Legion I got on first try. GF was on second try. Huntress took 10, Billy took 4... Hag took me 19 (her perks are all hexes, which always get destroyed). Wraith took 8 (his perks aren't great). Trapper took 2 (I love playing trapper, so it really wasn't due to his perks there). Micheal I got after 3 tries (got to be one of the best games I had though).
The main thing I notice is that it really depends on the teachable perks they have. If they have bad ones, then they won't do well. Also if they have low tier perks, then they'll probably do worse.
Maps are also a big factor. Try to get ones you're good on. I try to avoid swamp maps and Haddonfield for this purpose.
One thing people don't seem to realize is they don't have to get a 4k to get iri devout. You just need 9 hook events.
Instadowns make you suffer with this, since hitting a survivor twice counts as two won chases, where an instadown only counts as one. It definitely effects the chaser emblem.
More on the emblem system is here: https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Emblems
Honestly, survivor adepts are easy compared to killer ones. I wish they'd either make it so Gatekeeper was in your control, Adepts were based on a 4k, or survivor adepts required the same as killers (a double pip).
-
I don't think so, since you won't get any heal progress while broken.
-
I don't really care, since there's no incentive to be at higher ranks anyway. Even when playing for fun, I end up at rank 3, which is alright, I guess. Could be way worse.
That being said, people might care if there was a reason (achievements don't count since they don't exist on console), like bonus shards or something, idk.
I just play to get points. If I fill all the categories, then I think I've won for myself.
-
Maybe not with medium vaults, but slow vaults not in a chase could be faster. That'd give it a similar kind of passive to balanced landing.
(I know you weren't looking for more feedback, but that's kind of a putdown, tbh.)

Clearly lockers OP. Devs nerf ASAP :)
But yeah in all seriousness this has to be the hardest achievement in the game to get.
I'd say the new Left Behind achievement with Bill is the hardest due to the EGC's existence alone.

This achievement is the ultimate test for every Myers main. I still remember when I got mine - that was a very fun game. Too bad 4 bloody part streamers had to be wasted :P and I got a lot of salt in the endgame chat.
Absolutely. Took me 7 tries to get it. It was so difficult. I had to make sure not to hook them too many times (got to punish those locker hiders), while killing them all. The last kill that secured the achievement for me was a mad dash to the hatch because they were almost there when I got them. It was such a tense game.

Nope. It requires you to bring red hair and Tombstone.

There's really no point to this discussion other than getting it off my chest but I feel like the essence of having an evil clown in the game is wasted. When I think of murderous clowns it's usually more of the supernatural variety (IT being the biggest example) and having some kinda terrifying monstrous power and a maniacal laugh. But in dbd we're given a very grounded, somewhat generic serial killer backstory for the clown. His power of purple knock out gas, while fitting with his story, doesn't really fit with him being a clown. I guess I just feel like the clown has a lot of missed potential
I have to point out that there was an actual killer clown in real life. I think the Clown is inspired by that twisted serial killer. While he didn't collect trophies, he still was a menace while still alive. I think that makes it hit closer to home than most killers.

As a Plague player, I actually noticed this today while I was grinding to retake my purple rank. Despite me getting 4 kills and only two generators completed, I could never double-pip because my deviousness was strangely very low.
Long story short, I absolutely agree! Plague is such a good Killer, so she should be able to crank out bloodpoints just like any other Killer.
Quick Edit: That last part about downing infected survivors with your attack... There actually is a scoring event, but it only grants 200 points. It is simply titled “Purge”, I believe.
Unfortunately, points are not what helps you pip. Emblems and Bloodpoints are separate things. They used to be one in the same, but not anymore.

->DS is supposed to be an anti tunneling perk<-
Well, B&C is an anti camping perk, so let's remove the BP gain.
That is a different argument and you know it.
By itself, BBQ's aura reading effect is very minor and very counterable. Many perks and balance changes have been purely to counter BBQ (Lockers and blindness, Disruption, etc.), and there are tricks to counter it (hiding behind gens). Nerfing it by taking away the main selling point of the perk would just make it useless. Most of the time, I don't even use BBQ for the auras, even if they're useful, just because if I see less then 3, then I know one person could be close or quite far away. 40 meters is also a lot farther than you'd think, making it much less useful on smaller maps.
Why you'd offer that change is ridiculous. It does not have the same success rate for what it can do as DS, and many players who would use DS often know how to abuse it (Lockers, anyone?).
One could argue that it does it's job by encouraging bloodpoint gain as much as possible. It encourages getting at least one hook for every survivor, as well as going away from the hook to take advantage of the information.

The devs have explained that it's not a layer they can add to any cosmetic, but an actual different cosmetic set. So, they would have to paint every cosmetic to have this, which is time and effort best spent elsewhere.
Most likely not going to happen.
