I love DBD. Play with my buddies every single night.

Don't worry. The amount of people unable to comprehend that the devs want killer to feel threatening will almost assuredly result in a near complete reversal of the rebalance patch. Then we can go back to April player numbers and 10 minute survivor queues.
This. The killer is supposed to be much more superior to the survivor.

Just bait the pallet drop and run brutal, nobody getting that challenge for free off me. RESPECT THE PALLETS!

That build tho. Lol

very strong on killers with a follow up attack such as demo, slinger, huntress, etc. Can seem busted for sure, but I don’t think it is.

No.

Nah just you. I’m highly enjoying the game.

One of those better be lightborn, lol
Never lol. My must have perk for blight is shadowborn.
-
High mobility killer, such as blight, I bring pain res and the rest aura perks.
a killer with less map mobility I’ll usually run overcharge, call of brine, paired with brutal strength and another chase perk if I’m really trying. I’m not really big with kicking gens tho..
my casual build consist of pain res, and then all chase perks.

I think MMR does not work AT ALL and there must be something seriously wrong in the way you collect metrics if you truly believe the average chances of survival are 50%. In particular I wonder if you can explain:
- How is it possible that random players like me can get a 36-win streak on killer (recorded, all 4Ks, and I can reproduce it).
- Why killrate is used as a metric for game balance since the MMR's exact job is to bring it to 50%.
What killer were you using?

A massive blight nerf? He does not need a nerf at all.

Camping is camping no matter how many gens are left
Tunneling is tunneling no matter how many gens are left
They should make kindred to where if the killer camps you can see their aura and survivors that are not on hook receives 15% repair speed .. that with reassurance will help against campers
you really looking for free gens huh?😂
-
Y’all leave blight alone. He is one of the most balanced and well made killers. Y’all just looking for easy games.

I dont want to image getting stunned at least 8 times with Head on in a single match
Both running head on, flashbang, Q&Q, and DH. It was a super fun / memey game for us. It wasn’t all 8 stuns from head on, but I’d say 4 or 5 of them were. Killer eventually wouldn’t even go near lockers. Got the rest through pallets.

Only works on oddly shaped loops, on straight loops and walls that's an easy hit every time
Not really. There’s aren’t many loops long enough that he’s able to charge a lunge before I round the corner, unless he’s right on top of me. Which at that point, I’m dropping for a stun.

I just played a match as Trapper on ormond and I brought the add on that allows me to start with all my traps. I started the match trapping out all doors to the main building and brought the offering to put the basement in the main building. So basically, I defended the main building and brought any downed survivor to the basement. I also proceeded to reset any disarmed traps and refused be brought to the corner of the map with the shack. Behold… a forced 3-gen scenario. This match proceeded to last over 30 minutes with an eventual 4K. I’m entertained but at the same time, i know it was super boring for them…
please share your “I created an unfun match” stories please. I didnt realize what I created until I was in the middle of it and felt the need to commit to what I started.
generally I’m a survivor main so I’m not super familiar with all the mess killers actually do.
stories stories stories please. I like stories
if you have come to this post to complain about killers, this post is one you can pass on. I simply want match stories
It’s tradition for me, that after grinding to irid 1 on killer… to destress from all the sweaty swf and coming so close to that last pip.. I will treat myself to some facecamping basement bubba.. it’s such a relaxing time to not have to care about any gen defense and just sit there with my victim. Funny how often it turns into a 4k anyway. 😂

My comparison of the two ranges as far as stating that they share a weakness (which they do) and nothing more.
All I am saying is that the statement "Blight has 115% movementspeed, because he can't use his power around certain loops" is incorrect, as Huntress, who is moving at 110% movementspeed, has the exact same restriction on her power. Therefore the logical conclusion is that this can not be the sole reason for why Blight has this movementspeed.
I'm not comparing the Killers, I'm not making any balance claims or propositions, I am merely pointing out the flawed logic in that argument.
That’s just not true. Huntress can hit over windows and over short loops. There’s are a ton of tiles that have cracks she can throw through. A window that you vault just in time to dodge a lethal rush, is a vault you’re getting hit with a hatchet.
-
Ran head on with a buddy. Both got it first game.
-
Nah I’m not a fan. Many builds revolve around addons or items for survivors. You would decrease a significant amount of variation by doing that.
-
Iron will.
-
I don’t pre-drop against wesker. Don’t see the point. Rather, bait him into pulling his power up, then keep running the loop. Works every time.
-
I always get irid 1 for both, simply because I’m a completionist.

Devs clearly stated hug tech is a bug, so using that bug makes it an exploit
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3185775#Comment_3185775
I said either remove hug tech or make him 110%
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3185768#Comment_3185768
I'd rather have the hug tech finally fixed till then 110% is the only way to make it up for it
Survivor spins is a bug as well. So we should remove that while we’re at it, since every survivor is “exploiting it”.

According to that logic Huntress too should move at 115% movementspeed, as she can not use her hatchets around the same small rock loops Blight can't rush around - but she doesn't, which heavily implies that your explanation is incorrect.
Huntress is a ranger killer… you cannot even compare the two..

Of course, what do you do against Nurse if she has 110-115 speed? Can you tell me?
I can’t… but that’s the POINT. She needs to be slower because of her power. It’s one way or the other. You can’t restrict ONE killer from using a handful of perks. That’s just not right.
-
its really not that bad. The only reason solo q fails is bad players. Maybe you’re one yourself? People are so dramatic about solo q. Lmao

Uhhh.... hug tech?
The hug tech cannot be used at every loop. No even close. There are so many tiles with funky collision that will just waste your time.

I'm sorry, but I love this game! I play killer and survivor equally. Win or lose. I'm having FUN. I don't Care how other people are playing. If I'm not having fun that's my own fault. Period. I challenge myself. I find new ways to play solo and as a team member. I try different perks and add ons to see what works and what doesn't.
This is a non complaint post.
Please tell us what you love about this game and leave your complaints on another discussion thank you!!
Agreed. I absolutely love this game. <3

I am so tired of camping and tunneling. I run perks like off the record and ds and I still get tunneled and killed. Keep in mind that I actually get value from these perks. Whenever I get off the hook killers come straight for me. Sometimes gens will get done the other survivors will leave but I’m dead because the killer tunnels me. Even when I don’t get tunneled the other survivors on soloque don’t do anything when I get hooked. I don’t even think making kindred base kit will fix this.
We get it, it sucks. Get over it and join a SWF. Tunneling is the META so it’s not gonna stop. No point in bitching about it day in day out. Literally, join a discord, join a SWF. Problem solved.

I have spent all my gaming time today trying to get this. Either I’m one hooked/tunneled out, get unhooked at the gate and can’t really run to the hatch, The worst case was when all gens were done a Meg waited until last second to leave the gate and I died by the entity. Finally I just played selfishly and waited for my teammates to die after someone dc’d to get it.
how are your challenges going?
I got it first game with key and killer shack hatch offering. Play smarter, not harder.
-
As somebody said.. nurse is quite literally the ONLY killer slower than survivors. If you made her blinks special attacks, you would take away every single perk that requires basic attacks from her. If her blinks are made special attacks, then her speed needs to be increased. And I GUARANTEE survivors will ######### even more about a nurse that blinks AND can catch them without needing their power.

Thanks for your sympathy.
They made the game. How are they not at fault?
It’s an asymmetrical game in which you may play however you like within certain parameters. There’s a lots of perks for being a “solo” survivor. While it may be frustrating, there’s nothing wrong with what Dwight did.

The ones baiting the killer into chase usually arent the type of players who want to win/escape
Can’t relate. My team wins majority of our games pretty easily.
Even in solo, I will bait the killer to chase me because I know I have the ability to keep him busy while the teammates HOPEFULLY hit gens.

That is true but at least based on the criteria the OP put in their post, the survivor who doesn't know when to stop trying to bait the killer and stays off the gens just trying to get the killer to chase them is the survivor I'm going up against. And if that is the survivor I'm up against, I'm going to ignore them because nothing makes them saltier than being ignored :D
I feel you man. Sometimes I’ll humor them and laugh when they dc because they go down 20 seconds after clicking and teabagging at me. 😂

Dwight was up there for the minute and a half Ada was on hook, forcing me to trade with her.
You can't seriously make excuses for this kind of gameplay.
The "game was over" because Dwight abstained from progressing the objective for 4 minutes.
---
Regardless of whether or not that was the smartest play for Dwight, my issue here is with the game, and the fact this scenario is possible.
No.. the game was over because y’all allowed somebody to die with 4 gens left, with 2 more of y’all on death hook. Y’all all failed. Dwight played for the win at that point, which he did.
-
I wouldn’t unhook you either. That is literally a hatch game, and he’s equipped for it.

As a killer, I love those players
It's amazing how insistent they are that I chase them and when I don't, they just stay on my ass trying to get me to chase them. It's free pressure! I especially like getting messages from them later asking if I was scared or something 🤣
This only works with lower skilled survivors. They gotta learn to take what chase they can get, then immediately hop on a gen if killer won’t commit. If they can last in chase that is.
-
That’s the role I play in my squad. I’m the primary chase, 1 dude serves as a secondary chase (in case I’m about to go down or killer won’t commit to me long). We both center our builds around chase.
Our other 2 run more gen rush type builds and stay away from chase if they can. (They like to do gens lol). Depending on killer’s commitment (I will teabag and taunt to keep it) I won’t touch gens usually.
-
I think they did a great job. Game is in a good place right now.

I had a game just 10min ago where everything went okay, I was playing Wesker on Azarovs Restingplace and hooked everyone a couple of times and the first one died after 2 gens were done.
But then the Mikaela that I was chasing down and nearly cornered pointed at a locker and low and behold, an Ace slowly emerged. I shook my head and remembered the old saying "snitches get stitches" and killed that Mikaela off. I cornered the two remaining survivors pointing at each other and thought that they were cute and trying to determine who should be sacrificed. In the end I let Ace go and gave him hatch. In the post game chat everyone was still there and quite agitated that I let Ace go, who apparently had not touched a single gen, but even sand bagged his other team mates.
Thinking about it, that Mikaela could only have called that Aces locker if he had entered that before I started chasing her, so I guess that I gave a troll the hatch. Then we had a smal discussion if what happened was a bannable offense and here I could confidently explain what was and wasn't such an offense :)
So tl,dr: I was sad that I apparently gave the bad apple the hatch, but in the end it doesn`t matter too much
This is why I don’t let anybody out. Killers are supposed to be killers, not friends. I will OCCASIONALLY let a super juicer out. If you’re the last survivor left and give me a realllyyyy good chase, I might give hatch / gate as a reward.
-
I want prox chat between killer and survivor. I can just imagine the conversations that would go down. Imagine if a survivor could have a conversation with bubba while being camped in basement. Hilarious.
