I find Killer and Solo Q to be equally miserable.
Both need help and this isn't an us vs them. For most people, the state of the game is rather poor at the moment.
Sitting in queue for 5+ minutes as Survivor only to get tunneled/camped out of the game isn't a good experience. Likewise, playing Killer and having multiple CoH's, bad maps and the general overtuned nature of Survivors is also unfun.

It's pretty horrible.

Well, Legion does have decent mobility and tracking that neither Trapper nor Meyers have in their base kit which is valuable. And Trapper is pretty much just a basic killer if the survivors are strong enough to just avoid traps altogether (in fact in some ways he’s worse than a basic killer initially since he has to spend time setting up traps versus going out and immediately pressuring survivors from the outset). I probably would rate Trapper below Legion, and maybe Meyers too though taking his add-ons into account Meyers might be stronger.
Also for whatever it’s worth Otz has Meyers as the worst killer on his newest tier list this week and has Legion a little higher up (he thinks people underestimate Legion). Agree or not he does at least go into a lot of detail on exactly what he likes and doesn’t like about all the killers.
It's not the first time I've disagreed with Otz.

I disagree. Legion can take first hit so easyly. Trapper and Myers can not do this. Myers have to stalk survivors and maybe his power will give him 1 or 2 hooks. Trapper will trap at early game (he will lose 3 gens for this) and may he will not get value from traps.
Legion is much better than them.
Oh, of course. Legion can get the first hit and watch as every Survivor heals to full with Circle of Healing.
Trapper and Myers are leagues better based off of their add-ons alone. Not to mention both of their snowball potential. Trapper's 3-gen's are a nightmare to push through and Myers only needs one good Tier III to win a game.
Can one good Feral Frenzy every win you a close game? No, because it can't get you any pressure.
See my above comment.

I still think pig is the worst. maybe Myers?
PIG
She has guaranteed slowdown with her traps. How much is up to RNG, but it can range from okay to very good. She does have anti-loop (it's really bad) and she has stealth, which is situational. Her add-ons are also pretty good.
MYERS
Myers has stealth, a faster vault and instant downs in his basekit. Instant downs aren't as good as they once were, but they aren't anything to scoff at. His longer lunge gives him extra lethality and his quick vault makes some loops very unsafe. Ultimately though, his add-ons save him from being anywhere near the worst. He has Tombstone Piece, J. Myers Memorial, Fragrant Tuft of Hair, Hairbow ect ect to work with. He's bad, but he's not the worst.
LEGION
Legion has no lethality. Their power cannot down people. They have so little slowdown it may as well not exist. 12 seconds to Mend while being in no danger of going down is ludicrously bad. They are purely an M1 Killer when it comes to getting downs as they have no anti-loop. They have no stealth. They have no instant downs. Most of the damage they inflict by chaining Frenzy hits together can be undone by a single Boon: Circle of Healing being brought into the Trial. Not to mention, Feral Frenzy spreads Survivors out and encourages them to work on separate gens, which is the WORST case scenario for ANY Killer. Likewise, they eat a 4 second stun after daring to use their non-lethal power. Couple this with horrible add-ons; Frank's Mixtape, Stab Wound Study, Fuming Mixtape, Suzie's Mixtape, Julie's Mixtape, Never-Sleep Pills and Friendship Bracelet are all functionally useless.
Add all those things together and you get the worst Killer in the game.

No, I absolutely am a 4 second-stun enjoyer.
I personally quit Deathslinger after they gave him a 3-second stun on his LETHAL RANGED power. I can't believe BHVR would do something like that.
Yeah that should be at least 8 seconds tbh

She can not be worst killer while we have Trapper and Myers in game. Maybe she is weaker killer after them
Legion is way weaker than both of them.

While i don't think he the worst killer like he not even on the same rank as the worst killer. it just makes no sense
He is fundamentally the worst.
Especially with Circle of Healing in the game.

This looks more like the original Haddonfield release trailer than the map did.

I agree, this should be changed. As well as a bunch of other things. Legion needs attention, they're painful to play at the moment.
Are you saying you DON'T like a 4 second stun (longer than Nurse's stun) on a non-lethal power?
-
He's the worst Killer for a reason.
Very few of Legion's quirks make any sense.

I think the saddest thing I've seen from this game is how obsessive some of these players get to be. I play PC for online gaming. I never played online multiplayer in any console. DbD had forced me to private my steam profile, and disable comments. However, players went out of their way to search my username online to find my online gaming profile for PSN, just to send me hate mail, calling me slurs, and telling me to kill myself.
I found these messages when I was setting up my PlayStation to watch Disney+ with my son (and family). It was my breaking point to start talking about this big problem in the community that isn't being addressed.
I learned you can disable receiving messages from everyone in PSN that night too.
I set my profile on Xbox to not receive messages from people not on my friends list, so they started messaging people on my friends list.

I think getting the Starcourt Mall from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things would be pretty cool.

Playing a new killer doesn't mean you're new to the game and it means you know how to play killer so you will be matched against decent players because matching you with new players is unfair for them
Yeah, let me get stomped for 30 games so my MMR can be at a level where I can start to learn the Killer.

I'm assuming the thinking is as follows for @Pulsar - They can correct me if I am wrong or if they made a perk typo:
DMS is to buy you time for your first couple of hooks as you'll proc DMS at least once via PR (usually).
Once Survivors know DMS is in play, they're most likely going to let go of the gen to avoid PR/DMS.
Once they start letting go of gens to avoid PR/DMS, they either:
A) Get back on the gen, you chase them off, gen is blocked for 45s providing slow down.
or
B) Avoid the gen/leave the immediate area because they know you're most likely en route and have DMS - This allows you to Pop the Gen and chase people off other gens for DMS (killer pending).
I can see PGTW getting use in this build.
Yeah, that's pretty much what I was finding.
I tried it on Sadako and on Blight.
People have adapted to DMS/PR pretty well, so I found I was getting a lot out of PGTW/CoB especially near the end of the game.

Steve deserves better tho

There's been tons of suggestions, but realistically every suggestion I've seen would render it so worthless it may as well be deleted.
Good.
It's a badly designed perk and it could be dumpstered for all I care.

I'd just like to be free of terrible teammates.
Me and my friend who have over 4K hours shouldn't be matched with players with under 100.
The Self-Care, Botany and empathy Claudette who sits in lockers all game shouldn't be consistently in our games. But she is. Literally without fail, it is every third game. We win two, it's fun. We play another and we get god awful teammates and a great Killer.

You are looking at it with a strong killer bias. Plaything is a slowdown perk giving killers a very strong advantage. CoH is nothing more than a healing perk and actually requiring finding a totem (not doing the objective) to get advantage from it. Killers are actually getting advantage from their perk normally from simply playing the game normally, which is extremely easy to do. It makes the killer much stronger without doing anything extra.
CoH requires finding a totem, then spending a lot of time blessing it. Plaything is stronger than CoH when looking at effort required from all parties involved.
Except, the reward for Plaything isn't really as good as the reward for CoH.
We're both veteran players. We remember the original Self-Care nerf way back in the day. After speedy self-care was changed, there was a no heal meta, which is pretty much what we were in until CoH was released. Now, we have all the issues of Survivors focusing down gens, Killers camping and tunneling because they have no time BUT Survivors also get a massive power boost from being able to heal fast on-demand.
CoH isn't healthy for player fun. It causes many more fun Killer playstyles to be rendered completely irrelevant and promotes unfun tactics like gen rushing, tunneling and facecamping. This isn't a Killer vs Survivors issue Sluzzy, it's a player issue. We are ALL negatively affected by Circle of Healing.

Based.

Yes, enjoy the outdated mechanic.

So it is OK for the designers to release a strong killer perk but it is not OK to release a mediocre survivor perk that is actually worth using for a change?
Plaything isn't a strong Killer perk, but it is a well-designed perk. You need to work for value.
CoH is anything but mediocre.

Pretty sure it was about a lot of people using Hex: Ruin, so they nerfed it.
That was one of like 5 reasons.
-
I just can't understand how BHVR simultaneously designs a perk like Hex: Plaything, a wonderfully designed and engaging perk but then also greenlights Circle of Healing.
Maybe there are also two perk designers, just like there are two writers for the lore.

Unless a player is ideologically opposed to using CoH (which I can respect), I have no idea why they would bring self care instead of it. Self Care sucks, and only helps you.
Probably because my random teammates seem to consistently have under 100 hours.

True, but it seems that more often than not these days you'll have at least one teammate already scouting totems to apply boons to them, so I don't feel as bothered by this as I used to.
If only my teammates brought Boons and not Self-Care.

I feel like this combo is dying out a bit, due to the boon meta and the PR + DMS combo coming into style.
As for me, I really hate Infectious Fright.
Dying out doesn't make it less annoying to have to scour a map for two totems whilst nothing gets done.

Idk I've always heard of him being a bad killer especially in the past. He gets completely countered by windows and has to loop and shred through every pallet before getting a down. He seems to only be good if you camp which is very effective in my games.
He chews through pallets, sure. So does Nemesis and so does Demo.

I dont even think the games that bad, afterall 5years later here I am still playing. Sure there are balance issues from perks, maps etc. But the only thing that actually puts me off is this ranking and being punished for things fair out my control.
Old ranking was better, just needed tweaks.
I'm competitive. I like to win. It's why I like the Souls series so much. I feel like the time I put into learning the game and getting good is rewarded appropriately. It's far from easy but it is rewarding.
In DBD, it doesn't matter how skillful I am. If I get a bad map, I lose. If I get a good map but bad RNG, I lose. If Survivors bring certain perks, I lose. If the Killer plays a specific character, I lose. If the Killer brings certain perks, I lose. Because I play a certain Killer on Console, I lose.
There are so many things completely outside of my control that it makes it so incredibly frustrating to even attempt to play. The game wants you to be competitive, hence MMR but it refuses to actually become competitive in its balance. This creates an incredibly anti-fun environment and clearly others think so too, considering the SteamCharts.
This game has always had so much potential. But by now, I'm well and truly convinced it will never reach it barring a drastic change.
-
I don't think I've heard anyone call Bubba a "bad" Killer recently.
A poorly designed camping machine? Sure, but not bad.
Corrupt, Deadlock, NOED, No Way Out seems like a 3K+ build
-
Ruin and Undying.
-
The longer I play DBD (play is used loosely here, I'm averaging a match a week now) the more I am convinced that it's a terrible game.
If you are even remotely competitive (which the game encourages you to be) it punishes you for it.
