I must respectfully disagree. The typical EU Blight will also burn an Azarov's key, Mcmillan's bone, or an ebony. Seems like OP is still versing Blights who haven't quite reached full enlightenment, although they're on the right path.
One of them did take us to The Game.
That was the one with C33 and Alc Ring. I wouldn't have been so pressed if he didn't literally not leave the hook and then tunneled the guy straight off. He was actually insane, he flicked around so many pallets. He also may have had large ping. He was getting some very questionable hits.
Ironically, @GoodBoyKaru's theory about EU Blight might legitimately be on point, at least with one of them.

Not until CoH gets a hard nerf. I don't even play Sadako after p3ing her and getting all the perks on her cause it's still too annoying.
Well, if they're still playing Legion after all this time, they're probably insane.

There was one post about it. And you bring that here and now you want to say people that spam flashlights are evil and bad human beings i dont get it? I agree game should have warning but somebody with that kind of health problem should not play games with that kind of mehanics or any other newer games with bunch of special effects you know that can happend random to them? Because that is not something you can control....
I didn't say that. You can't be "evil" when you don't know what you're doing. I wouldn't want any of the dumb kids that spam flashlights to cause someone to have a seizure and have that on their conscience, not to mention the person having the episode.
I'd rather prevent things from happening than react to them after the fact. The game needs either an epilepsy warning or a fix to macro flashlights. Preferably both.

Well i dont speak about end game chat that is something else as a killer main i like getting mix of everything not genrushed all the time sabo squads head ons are funny when they get you clicky is little anoying tbag is sweet and that is it if you get mad that is your problem you are taking a game to serious
And for people that are sensitive to strobing lights?
The game doesn't have an epilepsy warning, to my knowledge.
-
@eaebree said:
That is not being toxic just a good strategy by getting mad you start to play worse and that works for survivors its just a game
How far does the excuse of "just a game" go?
-
-Code it that flashlights can't be spammed that way tons of times in few seconds .
A great suggestion.
-I noticed every game that survivors will spam crouching after they open the gate so block the ability to crouch at the exit gates or something or rework the mechanics so it can't be used to bully others
Not a great suggestion.
-Fix the mmr so you don't get matched with survivors that played the game 10000 hours more than you did literally ? at least make it mixed 1 pro survivor 2 decent survivor 1 weak survivor .
Another great suggestion.
-
Eyrie is just a bad map.

No sweaty nurses only blights? Wonder what your mmr rating might be 🤣
We had one Nurse yesterday. She took us to Midwich and let us all bleed out. Someone hurt her.
Other than that though, it's been mostly crack Blight

Noed is really not that good just be ready for it and cleanse it or do that before to prevent it or start playing killer to see how 4 dead hards ds feels hah
I was a Killer main before I retired.
Just because something is bad doesn't make something else okay

Easy to counter i never had problem with noed yea it seems unfair when killers is doing bad and gets downs in end because of it but if blight uses noed he is 100% bad 😂 because exposed dont work with his rushes
You can't really break totems when the player is good.

That is meh build honestly noed on blight? 😂😂😂😂
What are we gonna do, break the totems?

I was never arguing against fnaf, I was arguing on the side for scooby doo, which has also had media that was PG 13 (and even those live action movies were pushing that). DBD is not a spooky scary game anymore, there is nothing that doesn't fit anymore. They could add a teletubby with blood on them and it would fit.
The early 2000's one was supposed to be rated R iirc but they pushed it down to a PG-13
-
I kinda miss dribbling Survivors
-
Legion being teens in the 90's were definitely into the grunge scene.
Nirvana (<3), Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Meat Puppets ect ect
Or maybe that's just me projecting
-
Okay, mostly true, alternatively though, Kate's original scream.
-
I don't like it but it's hard to blame people.
It's incredibly difficult to spread pressure with Circle of Healing removing it in no time at all.
Ergo, it makes sense that people want to eliminate one Survivor as fast as humanely possible. It was always the best strategy, but it was never the most fun. The only reason people didn't camp and tunnel EVERY match in the past was because there were alternatives that were much more fun for the Killer.
-
Can we also turn down Plague's whispers while we're at it?
They are deafening.

5.2 x 10 = 52 - 40 (4 x 10)
Now that we see this, what does it mean? Well, 5.2m/s for 10 seconds is 52 meters. Survivors move at 4m/s, and we're going to assume they're running away from The Legion during their 10 seconds of Frenzy.
5.2m/s = 12 meters
5.4m/s = 14 meters
5.6m/s = 16 meters
5.8m/s = 18 meters
6m/s = 20 meters
Survivors must be further than the shown range in order to outrun The Legion's Feral Frenzy. This is assuming no add-ons are used, and no perks that further increase movement speed are equipped.
I think the question is do you think that's enough?
Obviously, we know that Legion massacre's weaker Survivors that group together but most players know to split up if it's a Legion.
I'm wondering if the 5% is going to make a difference. In my own personal experience, it's often extremely difficult to get the 2nd hit but substantially less difficult to get the 3rd and 4th hits.
I'm asking this because I would rather have more of that possible 20% boost on the first hit (say 10%) and then not have a bonus on the last hit.

Recently, it's been getting more and more difficult to enjoy this game and to look over the glaring issues. The Console port of DBD has shown that the game is extremely poorly optimized, and performance will continue to get worse unless BHVR addresses the issues now.
I fear that soon, the game will become unplayable for us on current-gen Consoles. Resident Evil broke the game for a month, and it still hasn't fully recovered. What this shows is that the issue is built into the game itself, and will likely continue to worsen if it is not resolved. Likewise, we are seeing the return of bugs long thought patched, which makes me suspect that the entire code is starting to crumble under the weight of the game. I hope BHVR takes the time to do this correctly and fixes their game. If they do not, I fear we will soon lose the ability to play it at all.
Here are some videos demonstrating my points, please note that these were all taken PRIOR to the RE patch in June of 2021. These issues have been plaguing Console players since the game was ported in 2017. I doubt there will ever be an official confirmation from BHVR, but it is important that we do not let these issues go silently. The only thing we can do is continue to talk and spread awareness about them.

August Edit: Well, we are nearing 100 pages. Congrats everyone. We still haven't gotten an answer from BHVR about what happened to Optimization, but we have inspired others to start to question it. I've furthered clarified the purpose of the thread and adjusted some of the language used in this opening statement to better reflect that.
Thank you.
I know.

Yeah but the rest of the players shouldnt be punished because you didn't like the map, they should at least get their stuff back if the killer dc's right after the game started.
If a survivor dc's nothing happens, the game continues, only if they dc during loading is when the game ends and you do get your stuff back.
Some maps are just ######### and while I don't encourage people to DC, I can't blame someone for not wanting to endure a SWF on Badham.
And no, if a Survivor DC's early the game IS over. Unless the MM has really really ######### up, you will not win a 3v1.
-
On the one hand, I hated using good add-ons as Killer only to get a bad game where Survivors DC'd.
On the other hand, RPD, Haddonfield, Badham, Cowshed ect ect

I liked space as a kid and was into astronomical oddities, hence pulsars and quasars.
Pretty much every other account of mine has some reference to either Anakin Skywalker or Kurt Cobain. I had the nickname Skywalker when I played American football and some meaner kids in school told me I'd end up like Cobain

and old moris, imagine matches with old legion and old moris (not to be confused with old old moris), you get 1 hook and you don't get to play the game, you get nothing
yes, as someone who started playing Survivor around that time, it was...unfun

How so?
I'd certainly agree the mechanic could do with a little refining, but the core design seems perfectly serviceable to me. What issues do you see with it?
That even with Shadow Step, the best course of acrion is to ignore it because it takes too much time to go and snuff.
BHVR saw everyone asking for a secondary Survivor objective and they went and made something that gives Killers ANOTHER thing to manage. It shows that whoever designed these aspects of the game clearly doesn't understand.

RPD, The Game and Dead Dawg

I'm honest enough to admit I don't like his design because I really dislike K-Pop.
We already got a punky grunge Killer with Legion so I mostly stay quiet.

Probably CoH.
Even one CoH can lose you the game

No hex perk belongs anywhere above C tier because you have no control over the location or the survivors spawn.
NOED isn't even C tier. It doesn’t do anything for 90% of the game and you may not even need it.
Edit: Unrelenting is F and that's being generous.
No Hex above C?
Kinda a bad take.

Sadako needs a lot of work.
This is a good start.

@jesterkind said:
Well, that's not quite true, is it?
Boons don't always give you the value. If you leave the 24m radius, it stops giving you literally any value at all; there's no spot on the map you could stand where your Hex would be disabled.
Since we're talking about Boons and not CoH specifically, let's also take a look at the strength tradeoffs in exchange for being able to set it back up again- an act that eats away at time you could be spending on generators, for the record.
Now, we do have some weak hexes, there's no denying that, but the idea is for a big impact that survivors are compelled to try and turn off, whereas boons are supposed to provide more minor buffs in a limited area in exchange for being able to be relit. We're going to discard CoH here since we're looking at all boons and CoH is clearly its own problem, and so... yeah, they actually do seem fair. Shadow Step is clearly the strongest one, and even that only gives you an edge. It's nowhere near as impactful as Devour Hope or Ruin, and that's the strongest of the three. The other two provide their own benefits, they're not useless, but they're nowhere near as strong as the average hex.
I swear, there should be a banner at the top of the forum that says "Before you post about Boons, stop and consider if you actually just mean CoH".
I actually do think Boons as a whole present an issue with design.
-
I stopped being nice after I got the same reactions from people even when I wasn't playing nice.

I do not have high hopes.
They'll probably cut a second from his cooldown and call it a year.
