The bugged scratchmarks and sounds, plus much much darker graphics (well, the third is not a bug, I think) made me stop playing this game. Can't play Spirit because of SC and sounds being broken, and maps like farm are almost unplayable because of cornblindness over 9000.

Sometimes I even chase the survivor who is not making scratchmarks at all, I need to use Bloodhound and Sloppy to track my prey...

Not talking about bugged animations, because, well, I don't care about them.

I've been maining Spirit ever since the patch. So are you telling me that with my Stridor, I'm not getting the same power and control as Spirit mains before this patch?

Survivors are almost silent wothout Stridor and with Stridor they are as they were before the patch at best (as if you were not using Stridor). Also scratchmarks are bugged and tend to disappear while in chase.

So if they fix this, should I expect to DOMINATE, since I do quite well as it is right now.

Or you're just not experiencing the bugs.

    Yeah probably.

Why is HAG not in S+ tier and Billy is? She's literally just as good as him in everything except Map pressure. She completely overshines him in chases though. They should be evenly matched.

Hag is nowhere near billy he can end a game just about as quick as it starts.

But Hag still should be S+ tier

Yup I agree. I started playing him yesterday and I realised just how strong he is. Hag is a LOT weaker then him. Billy is just amazing.

Why not just remove Legion from the game?

Will you personally refund everyone who's paid for the Legion? Because if so, I'll support this.

Lol. Removing him isn't smart. If he gets a rework to make him good but not without counterplay, he'll be good.

  • That's actually really good I love the guys zombie-like face.

I would say that it would be fine if they did the 10% over the 5%. Maybe add the vault speed increase only if you're not exhausted though, because it would be a pain for 110% movement speed killers otherwise. Plus, it makes Bamboozle a cat and mouse combination. Its a good idea.

Nah do it for all times. Also how would it hurt 110% movement speed killers? They lunge at the same speed and distance as normal killers.

Scratch marks are harder to see outside however! This is the only map where you can actually track foot prints. Use those eyes.

I love this map btw <3

    Wait u can track footprints?

  • There's some stupid snow around the shack which bodyblocked me TWICE which lead to a Billy who I was looping so well getting me.

  • Just make a built in Kindred and rework the current one to be something like this:

When on a hook, give a 9% generator repair speed to 1/2/3 survivors. That is literally all it needs to combat camping and make solo as strong as SWF. Then buff the killers to be as strong as Nurse or Billy.

  • To add the video, upload it to YT and then you copy and paste the link.

Also I think his hitbox is quite large too, the amount of times I've spun a Legion and he gets that hit on me is insane.

But as a few others said
Skill can make or break Legion. Be it him or you against him.
In the end you need to think of how to counter now rather then just hope he gets changed tomorrow.
As someone whom used him, pallets are both a problem and not a problem.
Yea you can vault over it, but if i wiff as someone 360s then vaults over it as i cool down, i lose time.
He is enjoyable in the sense of... I dont have hillbilly/LF's click and down when i got them where i want em.
I can get juked easier in frenzy, he has a stack of cons if you play as him. If you have a problem with him at any rank, then a decent rank 1 Legion is gonna have a field day till we all find out how to counter him.

Someone in this thread suggested to just try to waste his time before he gets his unavoidable down. I might as well do that from now on. It won't be too bad unless I get tunnelled like Legions usually do for some reason.

  • Er I face a lot of SWF, not faced a tryhard one yet, thankfully since my killers are not completely ready for one. Maybe my Billy and Nurse are but I don't play them much. But when I face a normal SWF, 2-3 people, It's not too bad just use OP killers (Nurse, Billy, Hag, Spirit, Myers and Clown) if you see at least 2-3 people joining on the exact same time. After the matchmaking fix, you'll just need luck to identify them. They won't allow us to decide who to play though, since nobody would get Solo games btw.

  • @Doowie said:
This is all down to the skill level of the players involved to be honest. When ever a new killer is released, they are either overpowered (freddy) and needs to be nerfed. So the best course of action would be to gather your feedback and suggestions and post them within the correct section of the forums.

Yeah I'm pretty sure EVERYONE hated Freddy on release. He was so broken it was ridiculous lol.

For both Leatherface and the Clown, I would recommend ruin, or another game prolonging perk, as they both lack the map pressure that some other killers possess.

The Clown's ability forces survivors to drop pallets earlier than they would when facing another killer so using either enduring or brutal strength to help deal with pallets is very beneficial. Enduring, in particular, is one of my favorite perks for the Clown as it can help combat decisive strike. If you drop a tonic on top of a survivor who has DS, and then you grab them and get struck, not only will enduring help you recover faster, but the survivor will get intoxicated from the bottle you threw and be unable to make much distance before you catch up. If you have the room in your perk set, running spirit fury with enduring can be a deadly combination.

With the Clown, hitting survivors directly with your tonic is less important than forcing them to go where you want them to go by using your gas cloud to control their pathing. You want survivors to be in a position where they have to choose between getting intoxicated or moving towards an unsafe location. Additionally, If you see a survivor running straight for a window make sure to throw a bottle in their direction as they will be unable to fast vault while under the effects of intoxication and the forced slow vault will give you an additional opportunity to hit them.

Unlike the Clown, Leatherface has fewer options for slowing survivors down at pallets, so you will need to chase them until they drop it. If you are using good addons, your chainsaw can help force survivors to drop pallets earlier, but that is still situational. Similarly to the Clown, using enduring to eat pallets can help get through them faster and combining it with spirit fury can be beneficial.

Thanks mate I'll keep this in mind ^^.

  • @PhantomMask20763 said:
Try to throw the bottles around the loops so you herd the survivor into the direction you want them to go. They either take the hit or move on. With Leatherface, yeah his power doesn't help in chases that much and the only time his power shines is when hes in very close range and defense. So I guess play a bit more defensively with your hooked survivors but still patrol gens if you know no one is near

    Thanks :)

  • @The_Crusader said:
Watch some of the streamers play them. Truetalent or monto or whoever.

For Clown I tend to be holding a bottle ready. The bottles can be charged so this way you will throw it at full power. Throw it just ahead of them so they'll go into the gas which will slow them down.

Alternatively throw it on loops and then make them run the long way through it. Might give you a hit at the pallet.

Both struggle with pressure so a lot of people take ruin to slow the early game down. M&A helps too as the 32m terror radius gives survivors a bit too much of a heads up.

With bubba you'll want add ons to improve the charge speed. Some people take spirit fury and enduring. Break the pallet with SF, then you should jave enough time to instadown them with the chainsaw.

If you dont have a spirit fury charged and they're looping then just M1. Bubba is weak at loops so as much as I hate to say this you should play to his strengths and "play defensively".

    Ty :)

  • Yeah it'd make it more helpful.

  • @ChesterTheMolester said:
As for Clown, try to throw your bottles on of any loops and use the spread, don't throw at survivors unless you have to get that hit before they reach a pallet or window.

If not possible, take control of the pallet, then simply throw it in the direction you want them to go, away from any save areas.

When you play LF and a survivor reaches a loop... you're [BAD WORD].

Thanks, you're always commenting on my threads asking for advice, I appreciate it man. So I gotta be very tactical with my bottles and try to shut down as much loops as possible?

  • Leatherface with an Insidious basement build, or Billy with a hardcore build like BBQ and Chilli, Enduring, Ruin and Tinkerers or A Nurses calling. I use both these characters with those mentioned builds and I love the salt. I only play them on Xbox though.

  • @Ryuhi said:
Iron Will and Dead Hard can help you stretch out your time, especially if they moonwalk and you can bait them into restarting the chase prematurely to go for a swing. It can be frustrating, but if your teammates are reasonably familiar with what to do, getting tunneled by legion will hurt him a lot more than it will hurt your team. With 4 survivors, theres a good chance he's doing that to someone else, and you can hold m1 to your heart's content! If you see someone get deep wounds and you can't hear the heartbeat, just keep workin :D

I don't play much survivor anymore but I'll certainly keep this in mind when I'm getting tunnelled/a teammate is getting tunnelled. Normally it's me  : but if my team lives, then I'm happy. I play way too much Spirit though, she's the most fun killer in the game imo and I love her mindgames.

This is not a problem caused by the developers. Since there is a "skill" difference between Rank 1 and 20, Nurse for example is weak and needs skill. Facing a Nurse in a Rank 1 match is most likely one of the hardest matches you'll face. On Rank 20, getting hits is so unusual, that u most likely not see much nurses.

Same with Legion. On Rank 1 with certain AddOns he's avarage. Not good but avarage. Can't tell you how good he is on Rank 20 but I bet with you, people of rank 20 have a completly other perspective

He's weak but at the same time, has a guaranteed down on you. It's very, very unfair no matter what your skill is, if he gets 1 hit on you, you're definitely going down if he just breaks your chase. And don't tell me you can stealth from it because if a teammate gets hit near you, you're going to be found from his speed and amazing tracking. He's weak as hell if he's played in a way that he's meant to be played but he can break chase to beat you so effortlessly. Obviously you're probably not past rank 10 (no offense but you don't seem to know about this tactic) if you've not faced a Legion using this tactic.

just watch people who are good killers play as him, and you'll see why he can be very powerful while going after multiple people. That said, everyone admits that there is no counterplay outside of just wasting as much of his time as you can. Wasting his time is, in essence, how you counterplay him. The more time he spends on one person and not spreading deep wounds to slow the game, the faster he gets gen rushed.

The fact that so many people think hes both garbage and op at the same time tells me that they aren't learning how he works, and trying tactics/builds that don't synergize with his playstyle. Balancing him is going to be very difficult, because he can easily become another nurse with minor changes.

Thank you, you're sensible. Unlike @Adv4u and myself. He's so weird he's kind of like Hag. Also nice tip for just wasting the 20 seconds I got. I guess I'll just try my best to pip before he eliminates me. I'm not used to getting eliminated so effortlessly from a killer who isn't Nurse it's weird.

Bacurse she is slow and if you put down the trap on a loop the surviver went allredy to the next one. With Hag you normal don't do chases bacurse it will mostly take forever if you don't have potato survivers to get somebody down bacurse hag is to slow and billy he is a fast boi with normal killer speed when he is not chainsawing and can start/end chases a lot faster then hag and billy has a instadown / i gonna destroy your pallats / i am in 5 sec on the other side of the map ability.

Yup you do not understand Hag do you? You just watch Tru3 playing her. Let me explain, Hag is the only killer who, if played precisely can have complete control over 1/2 of the map and can DESTROY a team. On maps like The Game, she is able to trap the whole map. And if you're a GOOD Hag, you can put your traps in places where there aren't pallets but you know survivors will go there and you can straight up end a chase in less then 15 seconds if your predictions are precise and accurate. Her only weakness is SWF and if you think flashlights counter her badly, NOPE because you get alerted of them being around that area. And Urban Evasion counters her? NOPE you can force them to use that and they'll move at 50% movement speed (i think thats the (Urban Evasion speed) and since you're 110% you're effectively moving 60% faster then them across the map making you actually really fast compared to them. And if they run, there's a really good chance of them triggering your traps if you're a good Hag. Billy can't control a game like that. Agitation on Hag, gives her the ability to hook the survivor in the middle of her 'web'. Best way to play her is to set 8 traps and leave 2 for chases. ^^

Legion is neither weak nor strong. It all depends on the player, really. While I can agree that a small buff would be needed, Legion is far from being weak if you know how to play him correctly and use the right perks and add-ons. Right now, I’ve discovered Frank’s Mixtape and Stab Wound Study are a good combo, as you only need 2-3 feral frenzy attacks to down a survivor rather than the traditional 4-5, and having perks on that increase his interaction speed on certain things (such as Fire It Up, Brutal Strength, Stbfl, etc) makes them good for keeping things under control. I’ve only played Legion when he came out, as I’m in a bet to get them, and them alone, to rank 1, and as of right now, I stand at rank 8 after about a week of playing him, so, it all depends on the player and the way they play, not the killer themself. But, we must remember, everyone has their own opinion, and even I could agree that a small buff to his frenzy or speed in general would be nice, but I wouldn’t complain if it never comes.

I don't agree with the fact that all he has to do is break chase and you're going down no matter how good you are. There's no way around that. You can't even stealth because if one teammate gets hit near you, you're getting found no matter what. He needs some desperate buffs because if you play him in the way the devs intended, then yes he would be weaker then Freddy but everyone at rank 1-10 have been using this tactic of breaking chase and following you with Stridor and it's got no counterplay and isn't fun to face.
