Personally, I just adore that Jake has a pair of pants labeled as being "Murican".

@jamesdon18 Before your claim will be taken seriously please submit the following:
- Screenshots of each post-game scoreboard (remember to censor usernames [not yours] with MS paint for privacy)
- A list of what perks you were using for the majority of the matches
- The name(s) of what offering(s) that you used for most of your trials.
- A screenshot ( [Ctrl + PrtScr] then {Ctrl + V} into a new MS paint document) of your total hours in Dead by Daylight*
- Video recordings of some of the matches*
Optional*
While the data of 25 4k games is truly valuable, such a claim without proper verification is void. I await your reply.

Survive with friends is on average a decent mechanic. It is also where a majority of the survivor player base comes from. From what I've seen, heard, and read, survive with friends groups falls into 3 categories:
Competitive Squads
Competitive Squads move around the trial with unbalanced tactics and coordination. Their objective is to rank up and also to have as many allies survive as possible. While they are an extremely challenging opponent, matches with them are usually very short as they use their comms to work on 2+ gens almost constantly. They know how quickly a good game can go sour for them so they get their gens and a save or two then everyone leaves at once. I honestly don't have a problem with these groups. Sure, I'm gonna lose and that stinks but at least the match will end quickly and I can find another (hopefully more enjoyable) match sooner.
Toxic Squads
Toxic squads just suck, but they can sometimes "double suck" which is actually great. A good toxic squad is just awful to play against. They will repair generators a little slower than the comp squads and will stick around even after they've won just for points and the infamous "T-Bags". The match will be longer as sometimes they all gather at gates to T-Bag you as you approach, other times one man will remain for the hatch or just run around the map for half-an-hour with the sole intent of wasting your time. On the bright side sometimes these toxic players get too boosted and start messing up a lot. This gives killers the power to 4k them depending on how the overall match has gone. I detest these squads as they just suck the fun out of everything. If they do anything post-game though you can report them, so that's a plus.
Casual Squads
Casual Squads are the most commonly seen survive with friends group type. These groups can vary in size from 2 to 4 survivors and they just chill out. They bought Dead by Daylight as a group horror game probably and generally stick together and try to avoid the killer. Matches with them can vary wildly from skilled matches lasting 5 minutes or more while new matches lasting ages with less than 3 generators finished. I enjoy playing with and against these squads as we're all just playing the game. Sometimes you get some hook farmers or noobs, other times you get masters with thousands of hours under their belts. The odds of this are relatively random so it evens out overall all. Survive with friends is a good mechanic it just needs to be balanced around the Competitive Squads.

Now you see friends, No Mither leaves you permanently injured, right? So only a fool would bring No Mither without also bringing Resilience (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Resilience) or This is Not Happening (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/This_Is_Not_Happening) as both perks make being always injured a good thing. It's a high-risk, high-reward perk so use it properly.
-
Hitboxes, huh? I could've sworn we had hitcones.
-
If hearing over the music is proving difficult, might I recommend you invest some bloodpoints into Sally Smithson? Her first unique perk "Stridor" (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Stridor) makes survivors louder when running away or hiding, injured or nor injured.
Also, if the fear of Iron Will being used to counter play Stridor is too great, then simply grab Whispers (https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Whispers) when you get the chance. [You don't need to necessarily be able to hear whispers you just need to be able to see the icon light up.]

I have just discovered the true No Mither build:
No Mither III (Duh)
Resilience III
Leader III
Empathy III or Dead Hard if you have comms or a shroud of co-op.For the following results, it's recommended you gather a swf team.
After doing some little research and math I have discovered that this build is just stupidly broken when used in numbers (like proud communists!)
1 Man solo repair
Resilience alone grants you 9% faster repair speed, not much but definitely noticeable.
Total boost: 9%
2 Man Co-op repair
Resilience grants you and your fellow worker 9% faster repair speed, both of your leaders also grant you both an additional 9%
Total boost: 36%
3 Man Co-op repair
Resilience grants you 9% faster speed, your leaders will stack granting each person 18% extra speed.
Total boost: 81%
4 Man Glorious Co-op repair
Resilience grants you 9% faster speed, your leaders will stack granting each person 27% extra speed.
Total boost: 144%This is without toolboxes.

And why are killers capitalists?
They get more bloodpoints then survivors on average and are one large entity whereas the survivors are a union of several smaller entities whose strength is in numbers.
-
Remember folks the BT extra hit only applies if you hit them within 15 seconds. There is nothing stopping you from chasing the unhooked survivor for 16 seconds, then smacking them upside the head.
-
Just tell them to get over it and explain why they had to make the change. There's a reason we have the phrase "this is why we can't have nice things." Survivors used to die slower if the killer was nearby the hook, survivors abused it and the feature was removed. This feature is no different.
-
To solve your problem @Zarathos you'll need to rout the toxic players. The dc is a result of them not having a white ward. Honestly, what the devs really need to do is have survivors lose items on dc. That'll fix the problem right quick.

100% rumor. Nothing has been confirmed yet. The wiki is where the speculation comes from, since it cites September 11th as the release date. That's based off of the release timing of the last chapter, where the DLC launched two weeks after the PTB. Although that's just silly because only one chapter has released that way so far, so it's like trying to spot a trend on a graph with only a single point. The wiki makes it perfectly clear it's not an official release date, so please blame the people who don't read the warning instead of blaming the wiki.

Eh, It's the Resilience + Leader hyper repair. Resilience 3 gives 9% faster repair speed, leader 3 gives 9% to each other player. So, when I use the power of the people I can get 27% to 36% faster repair speed. I didn't even add the toolbox to that math.

Apologies if the meme hurt your feelings, I have recently discovered the imgflip meme generator and I am determined to make more Dead by Daylight memes. Anyway while admittedly the meme's tone is rather rude allow me to state my actual advice.ASurvkillivorer said:@Peasant said:

...When you insert witty meme without reading the post. LOL you think im one of those master map knowledge pallet loopers who simply know how to keep resetting distance between the killer? I can't even use the pallets effectively. Playing against those people made me realize how screwed the balance of the game overall can be. I feel like enough knowledge from survivors can simply be enough to ALWAYS over come the killer no matter how they play.
I don't rely on pallets. I seem to have an entirely different experience with pallets than most survivors. They don't seem to be the live saver for me that they are for other people and even the survivors I play against.
Survivor regular pallet drop. Killer is approx 6-7ft away and killer lands hit on me when pallet drops. Like I said earlier sometimes managing to go through to my side of the pallet. Strangely enough that almost NEVER Happens to me as killer when I hit the survivor through the pallet.
Killer regular pallet drop. I am juuuust closing in for that hit and BOOM pallet smacks me I don't land the hit and survivor flies off. Never added up to me.
If pallets only get you hit then I recommend that you avoid using them overall. You can only have 4 perks so if looping is punishing you then I recommend you double down on stealth perks. After all you can't get hit if there's no chase. -
This is how all newer Dead by Daylight players act:

I do not think that the designers would give Doc a literal "Baldi" skin. However, you can use the current cosmetic options to recreate the look to a degree. There's a green doctor coat, a wooden bat, and his natural bald head. So to a degree, I believe you should be able to recreate the signature look for your kid. Heck, there's a Doctor loadout you could use to recreate the map and feel of the base game as well:Carter's Spark
- Carter's Notes Calm
- Class II Calm
Broken Glasses (To get Lery's Memorial Institute)
Monitor and Abuse III
BBQ and Chili III
Enduring III or Bamboozle III
Brutal Strength III or Fire Up IIIYour terror radius will be non-existent while in Punishment which can recreate the initial gameplay which is quiet, minus the clapping of the ruler. After switching to Treatment your TR will suddenly become enormous which will put everyone on edge and give most of the map madness. This will in turn mirror the immense pressure Baldi offers at the end of his game with the loud white noise.
While this is by no means a perfect solution to your problem, I think that it's as good as you're going to find.
eh close enough i would say, I'm suprised that the devs haven't tried getting creepy pasta and internet spooks on this game.
The short answer is that it takes them too long. If you want internet spooks and the like head on over to the "Fan Creations" subforum and type out an idea, they might just pick it up. I remember reading something about a pebble throwing perk at one point over there, and now Adam has Diversion.
-
If you're downed and you can crawl in front of a hooked ally I can guarantee that you will be helped up by another survivor.
-
My prediction? You'll get Dead by Daylight specifically on mobile the day the console player get split-screen survive with friends.

I just had the craziest idea folks. How about you earn your bloodpoints, by playing the game? I understand that difficulty rises if a person DCs at the start. However, killers on average lose far more points than survivors do if a survivor disconnects. They get a pathetic 625 bp for 1 disconnection. The standard 3 hooks alone is worth 1500bp, not mentioning the lost BBQ & Chili token and the hunting and brutality points for the chase(s). Then there are the other perks that get screwed when the Obsession DCs, etc.
I agree, survivors should get some compensation, but something on par with killers. So if a killer gets 625 for 1 disconnection, then a single survivor disconnection should take that 625 and break it into shares for whoever is left. This would mean that if all three allies ditched you'd still get 1147 bp. It's fair compensation while also being nothing to write home about. -
Repost this in wish list, if you could.

Well, just to safe, the original text has been changed from "scheduled" to "predicted" hopefully this fixes any confusion.

@Orion It may be speculation, to be honest.

Personally, I like wearing bright red and yellow clothes while blasting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vN-ARytZKgQ through the Steam overlay. I'll use No Mither, Resilience, Leader, and Streetwise with a Commodious Toolbox or the "BNP Box" (Engineer's Toolbox + Clean Rag & Socket Swivels). I'll also usually toss in one of the together shrouds. The generator repair speed is insane. -
Insidious is actually quite good on Freddy as it essentially acts as a renewable Paint Brush.
-
@BloodyNights Well, you're clearly doing something right. After all, Myers, is one of those killers who's unique powers I feel suffers a lot when blinded.
-
Out of curiosity, what rank were you during your rampage? I usually have mixed games as Doctor at ranks that are high green and quickly start to lose once I enter purple. Besides, while you can encounter the infamous 4 man flashlight death squad, that particular group is more commonly seen at red ranks where Nurse and survivor post-game toxicity are the law.
-
You do realize that the devs are buffing the standard pallet drop speed and that "pick up vacuums" no longer exist, right? Remember, the pallet buff drops in roughly 2 days, can you wait at least a week before asking for stronger pallets?
-

Scratchmarks will be a key indicator for novices so get Predator on the Spirit for decent tracking.
Since bloodstains aren't an option some map items are just as good. Things like "Grass, Corn, and Bamboo" move when survivors move through them. The Spirit on Coldwind Farm is very effective because of this fact. -

My advice, be the totem person. Focus on totems 1st then generators. If you avoid directly doing too many gens and avoid being the main unhooker you should be able to de-pip a fair amount.
