I love Onryo, but there is no way in hell she is worse than any killer with direct anti-loop. She may not be MUCH worse, but she still has a chase reliant on survivors not paying attention.
But I almost agree on Trickster... I have seen some really good ones though, and while maps certainly counter him, he's very annoying when that isn't the case and the person can aim well/is on PC.
-
Has there been an MMR change today? I have been getting extremely good survivors, but I also was playing silly killers... Also que is taking longer as killer. Noticing a surprising amount of Asian players in my lobbies as well (let me tell you, they definitely have some strong players), even if they make an odd choice here and there
But yeah, very tough killer games

I don't know what happens at 2am but suddenly something just happens making everyone as sweaty as possible. It's like a switch that turns on making the arabic players come out and every good survivor run the most tryhard stuff.
I've adapted to it tbh cos I know at 2am I'll be sweating, and sometimes sweaty games can be fun.
Tbh I love and hate them, it's good to know everyone was trying there hardest, win or lose, but it gets bitter at times.

How long have you been practicing nurse?

This thread is so full of sh*t.
The only reason SB was EVER used more than DH at any point in time is because DH didn't work for years when it was released. The hit validation "buff" made this perk the outright best Exhaustion, it's not even close.
-You only use it in situations where you need it aka it won't ever be wasted (unless you just push X/shift for no reason)
- You don't need to waste time walking around the map at any period where you'd want to preserve your perk
- SB can be STRAIGHT UP COUNTERED
(Fear mongerer, Exhaustion add-ons, hindered effect, stealth killers, trap killers, hag in general, etc.)
Anything that disallows the benefit of quickly using it on the initial chase negates it, and what if your doing a generator in a spot of bad RNG? What if it's mostly deadzones or your doing a gen in a room with a lot of curves and you can't just break out in a straight line?
- SB does not deny a hit, it does not create a missed swing effect, it cannot counter killers powers (Victor straight up loses to a team with DH, also tell me SB is a better counter to a Nurse blink than DH? This is probably the only argument I need out of all these paragraphs to explain why calling SB the better perk is awfully disingenuous)

yeye ofc! I would not give kills to someone who is new bc it would disrupt the learning process! Making mistake and losing is the best way to learn how to play! But i will explain the example that brought me here to write this:
I was solo q playing vs a player who was playing the artist, she never camped a hook and only went to defend gens. she chased me the first time and she outplayed the hell out of me. The second time, since the artist is one of my favourite killers, i started playing around her weaknesses and sadly i went for a good 5 minute chase and at some point i fell under a pallet and randoms saved me and i was like: "bro i'm so sorry!" I was so close on standing still and giving the hook but there were still 2 gens left so i had to keep going till she eventually lost me and went back to def gens... At the end just meg died and i was at the door, left the item and told her to kill me. Ofc i left a +rep on his/her profile because the game was veeery enjoyable for me, but for the killer must have been so frustrating and annoying :\ These are the exact matches where i gladly give kills because i know those are kills that will make the killer think: "this player knows i worked my a** off for this and i practiced hundred of hours and i still didn't get rewarded for it"
If that's what some killers want, but your just retaining them in an MMR where they will have more crap games than fun ones. I would understand if he was playing a killer like Freddy or something (still wouldn't do it) but Artist is bordering S-tier, and if he was going to physically patrol gens all the time instead of utilizing his crows to save him time (and chasing you for 3 gens) he's still probably has a bit to learn.

I always try to be positive in the end game chat. Say GGS even if i lose because im not going to be salty about dying in a game.
I've had killers that had really rough matches getting matched against people that had 1k+ hours to him/her and yeah they were broken after the match even little salty sometimes. I talked to them calmly and in the end they ended up being super nice and we wished eachother great days.
As a killer i don't do pity hooks. I get its usually from kindness if im having a super tough match i just carry the survivor back to the door. You beat me fair and square take the win i'll try to improve for the next match. I think a lot of killers don't want these pity hooks.
Sadly there are always going to be people in this game that will want to hurt people, but what i wish is that people would not get so upset about losing. There is no point hurting another human being just because you lost in a game. You don't know whats going on in that other persons life and you being toxic might just actually hurt them quite badly.
If you actually play both sides of this game for long enough, you may come to the conclusion at some point that the tilting is partially an intended mechanic, and this game probably wouldn't even be as enticing overall without it.
I'll say things like "oh boy, her comes the bully squad" but when I'm saying that it's partially facetious because it's like... They are being jerks in a game where the mechanics are all about being jerks to the other side (sometimes your own side, right no mither users?).
It comes from a place of expecting the wrong things, like you shouldn't expect your opponent to try and do everything within the games parameters to win (of course this does not apply to actual cheating or hacking, that much should go without saying but.. eh). Both sides should always be trying to win, if not it is essentially a waste of the other sides time (who paid money to play real games against real opponents). It's why I see some survivors straight up DC if another even attempts to grab my intention for the purpose of farming (which I just mostly refuse outright now because it's boring for everyone involved) better to get a 5 min game where everyone gets 15000 BP and move on

@BaroneMaximus said:
Guys, i wanna start this thread by saying that i am not a killer main. I PREFER to play killer, but i play both sides equally.
After playing this game for roughly 3k hours i've managed to understand many things. One of the most unsettling and unfair of all is that survivor is way more enjoyable and chill than killer and it's not even a personal thing. As survivor: you have the chance to play with your friends, coop with them, chat with them and play "against the evil killer". With every upcoming chapter, you don't really have to learn anything new, your work is always "Shift+W", "hold m1", "press space" (Not trying to be offensive, it's just how it is). As killer: You can't relay on anyone but yourself to pull out something good out of the match. With every new killer there are killer powers/addons and perks to learn and try to comb or counter or play around. You are not chatting with anyone (apart in cases like streamers or discord streaming for friends, but i still believe it is not the same thing as playing with them in the same match). You are not cooperating with anyone, you are all alone to face 4 players with 4 different minds, 4 different skill levels, 4 (most of the times, but not always) different perks and many times similar, if not, equal outfits to create confusion. With all those things (and all the unbalances that RNG of this game brings) being killer and managing to have fun or at least enjoy your doing is veeeeery hard and keeping things chill is even harder, trust me.
With that being said, i am now here to share my idea to try and improve bad moods when playing dbd: Even though there is SBMM active and even though every game seems to be a race to be at the top of everything and everyone. Whenever there is a killer that is clearly struggling with the character, whenever there is a killer that even when chasing good and outplaying many times will still manage to have no kills "just" because he/she is not hard camping or hard tunneling and the map is very unfavourable. Think about dropping your item at the exit and running toward a hook and presenting a kill to the killer. This act of kindness could really toss a bucket of cold water onto the burning rage of someone that is literally just trying to have fun and enjoy the game when instead everything is working against him. This WILL NOT improve his game situation. he/she will still need to improve, but THIS could really turn a "i'm never gonna play again / i'm gonna camp and tunnel next game with mori and noed" into a "maybe i just need to play more and improve". I'm not saying that you HAVE TO give free kills every game just because someone can't even land an M1 or something extreme like that. I'm just saying that kindness goes a long way and can bring so much improvement to this game and community that has become waaaay too much toxic imo.
Ofc there is even the other side that can think about being kind in the same way: Whenever you see a survivor dcing, whenever you see a survivor that doesn't even look behind him, goes straight and drops every pallet (i call them cuties), whenever you have a match where you end up having like 6 hooks and 0 gens done, Think about giving the hatch or let them farm after they are all on death hook and let them escape. I've done this SOOO many times because killing someone for me is really meaningless. The only thing i care is chasing and outplaying the hell of those dirty clicky clickies that make my games juicier whenever i down them! (<3)
I hope that someone will like my ideas and start making this community and this game a healtier place!
Waiting for constructive responses, will totally ignore and report flame.
Tbh, I only do the survivor thing as a killer main. That's because I as a killer don't want pity kills, it's really that simple. It also contributes to false escape/kill rates, which only makes the developers jobs tougher, and tbh it is way more impactful to your MMR as a single survivor to allow yourself to die to weaker killers.
As a killer if I'm playing, I will pretty much only let a single survivor leave at the end if they played very well or if they had horrible teammates I saw obviously sandbag them (without reason). But I presume the other side wants mostly real games, so the only case in which I will let more than one escape is an extremely obvious blowout (5 gens uncompleted, team playing extremely panicky off a series of good plays, everyone ended up slugged etc) but it's best to just always play with the intention of winning imo

The times I get the best squads are any times between 2am and 11am, and quite commonly on fridays, saturdays and sundays.
I wouldn't say it's exclusively a late night thing.
That has to be a time zone thing, because I basically stop getting killer games on Sunday morning by 8 am (PST). Around that 2am mark though? Yes, those are death hours ☠️

Solo queue isn´t as bad as you make it sound. Most of the time i get competent teammates. Sure, sometimes you get rage quit suicides. But thats just how it is, since there isn´t a real punishment for this. Killers usually don´t go full tryhard when that happens (exceptions apply).
To be quite honest, this has also been my experience when playing solo survivor lately.... It's been strange, because on the one hand I've absolutely been getting less teammates that throw, but I'm also seeing more periods where the que is actually quite a bit shorter for survivor que over killer(not very often, mostly still points in the morning, but sometimes even during the late evenings).
I have gotten many competent survivors in solo, in fact at this point they seem to heavily outweigh the survivors who, for instance, immerse around the map for absolutely no reason or run face first into lockers... Most of them are lasting at least an average amount in chase, people are staying on gens for the most part. Solo q hasn't been bad for me personally in a while, I can count the amount of games on my hand that got lost because someone on the team was being a nut.

DH makes you invulnerable and can be used at any point if injured. You have to micro manage exhaustion with SB (so you have to be inefficient walking sometimes). It also doesn't give invulnerability.
SB requires more skill to use in a chase and can be used to deter a killer from initiating a chase all together but I'd still say DH is much better.
DH also lets you go through traps and allows for extra 50/50**(ish?) mindgames which takes it to another level.
**What I mean by this is that if you're at a bad downed pallet (or even a window TL), you can basically guarantee the killer will eventually swing for you if you don't vault after a mindgame or 2. Once they start their lunge, deadhard into the pallet and vault it. They can predict this if they are really aware but the odds are they will lunge.
You wrote exactly what I was trying to type out perfectly and more concise, so thanks for saving me an essay
-
Absolutely not, because it's not something to feel bad about. Just because others want you to, you have no obligation, because it is literally the game...
"Oh I let you go do the most boring part of the game for longer because I don't want to keep harassing you while you play skill check games with your friends. Why don't I go F off and make less optimal decisions because that should be something I should have to think about"
No, I just give the last 1-2 an escape if it's quite obvious they would probably lose anyway. That's alot more fair when I feel like being kind, than playing in a way that makes me less efficient and juggling whether I like the other players enough to intentionally play against the established mechanics.
-
Every time I run discordance on Nemisis I regret it, the zombies don't seem to ever be useful enough or happen to be in the worst position to respond..
My favorite non-meta perk is probably STBFL, it's just so good on most m1 killers, but even better on most M2 and anti-loop as well, and it's one of the perks you just feel the value of immediately once you start gaining stacks.

Which is...honestly pretty daft. Trickster was released in a pretty wretched state too - but got a lot of fiddling trying to make him decent.
Onryo has a lot of stuff I like - but far too much comes down to her visual and audio design. Mechanically...she feels 3 years out of date. With how sophisticated survivors have gotten, even at intermediate levels - a killer with no reliable antiloop, a janky pseudo-stealth inferior to almost any other stealth in the game and a mediocre, RNG traversal tool...just doesn't cut it.
Artist really made me hopeful regarding new killer design. I know some people find her a bit boring, but her kit was creative, intuitive and powerful - without being OP.
I personally really like Artist too, I don't get the idea she's boring, and holding W isn't that strong against her either IMHO. She does get cucked by elevation though, which is an RNG factor O find especially frustrating as I get swamp maps often
-
Definitely not gonna happen in mid chapter unfortunately, Peanits pretty much confirmed it in another post, saying they are still looking at her data and giving her time... I still have some fun with her, but at the higher MMR's she is more struggle than anything if you're playing to win. Still get a 3K here and there, once in a few matches a 4K.. but there's been a lot of 2K-0K's too.
If survivors turn off TVS and get rid of tapes early or while you're in a chase, there's not much you can do except hope you cut them off before they mess with more, but then you lose those TV's for so long someone might just come do a gen over there while you're chasing someone else and you'd have to walk back after a hit or commit to that chase.
Her Demanifest is still a great tool imo in SOME chases and loops. It's very map and RNG dependent, as well as requiring add ONS to be truly effective. I think it would be nice to have more base invisibility intermittent time, like maybe just make Reiko's watch base kit, but keep the add on and nerf it to 15-20%
That and/or obviously reduce TV cool downs (60 base, 80 from survivor input) , boost the effect range of TV's to 20 meters, buff the range to 16 meters for Sea-soaked cloth and Rickety Pinwheel, and maybe find some way for Sadako to apply a small bonus amount of Condemned thru a personal action (such as actually pulling off a hit from a TV manifestation, or giving people who look directly at her in demanifested state a small passive gain on condemnation)

I'm not a fan of Haddonfield, but honestly I hate Badham just as much. It feels like such a map where only certain killers have a chance. Prior to that, Hawkins was terrible, but it's gone thank God. I also don't love RPD for the same reason I hate Badham, but less so because it's dependent on RNG which sometimes does favor the killer theielr

Revert it straight away, today is a joke.

The last game I just had had a survivor just running up and down the harvester instead of repairing the final gens while we kept a campy freddy busy. It's horrible.
Lol what if they are matchmaking I with one random bit per match, I'm really starting to wonder... Just had a teammate who was hiding in basement as the last gen popped... Ended up getting someone else killed along with him down there lol

Whatever test is going on right now: it is torture as solo queue survivor.
The survivor mates I have aren't that great and the killers are sweaty: tombstone myers, IR huntress, 2 Mori killers, basement bubba, now freddy with mori. Such fun.
I haven't had a good experience today, but it's a new day. For some odd reason I keep getting really good Demogorgons, all with differing cosmetics.... But all with Mindbreaker

they're testing MMR ranges. 28 was like facing complete new players. 29 is what it is currently on normal days which is very sweaty.
They need one that is more middle-ground like 3/4th of what 29th/current one specifically for killer.
That explains a lot. I was used to having those games by 7, but to get them so early in the day was crazy, I mean the obviously solo teams were even good so it must have put a heavy emphasis on skill level. The strange part to me was I was getting them relatively quickly on both sides (although the solo que experience was better because we mostly had teammates that would actually do things and no how to last in a chase

Following the update to Hemorrhage, Survivors will no longer be able to 99% their healing progress to take advantage of perks that benefit them when injured (yes, that means Dead Hard too) and then immediately heal right after they feel truly endangered.
This also means interrupting hook heals is far more valuable, and incentivizes going for the unhook-er as you can inflict them with hemorrhage while the other survivor must start their healing from scratch. I can see Gift of Pain being significantly more useful, as the added heal time slows things down as well as the regression AND the gen slowdown after finally being healed.
I love the change. Hit and run is buffed, stealth killers like Sadako will be a huge threat with sloppy butcher, a certain hook perk just became super powerful, etc. Interesting anti-heal meta Shakr up

I'm going to hate to be the party pooper. But their core issues are still going to be the same. They'll still be the bottom feeder of the killer world
That issue being. Their power can't actually down you. Coupled with being in a meta of super healing. Coupled with maps being so strong. It can be borderline impossible to even get that one hit on a survivor to get a down after frenzy.
Wasn't the buff to Legions power specifically that a 5th stab wound will down? Honestly, Anti-loop is sooo overrated, m1 gameplay isn't dead because 12% of survivors can loop really well.
-
I think I like the Idea for Hemmorage. Have to see it in practice, but it seems like it will actually be a good counter for healing now... Gonna have to look at all the perks and add ONS with it to determine it's worth, but the sheer amount of Hemmorage all over the place as if it were ever a decent effect from the start? I know there will be some nutty combos. Too bad I doubt it can stack..
Also legion rework sounds awesome, as someone who plays him all the time
-
As far as rank and grades go it really depends. If you're really going for it on one side or the other, yes you will grind, but you could be in IRI 1 within a week or two of reset. In general though, this game does require a lot of time given toit.
The fact that after 5 years, I still don't have every perk unlocked on every killer (forget even 2 survivors) really shows how grindy it really is, and honestly sooner rather than later they need to address that, because it already is a major break point for many new players (although I suspect their still doing fine in that regard, based on balance decisions and the fact they haven't dropped everything strictly for it)

No COH
No medkits
Survivors faceplanting you at tv's and hanging around for literally no reason.
Why did they even let themselves get past 4 stacks of condemned?
Nobody does these things in my games... I spend most of the game without anything to teleport to because they keep turning them off.
You had everything in that match that i said isn't a good example.
You want another? Give me a couple hours, at work

Here's one on an, admittedly favorable map. I think it is a good indicator on why if they buff Sadako, it probably won't be to her condemned, at least not directly. Also I don't know that everyone on here was amazing, and excuse the absolute no editing, the gameplay starts at about 4:48.
I can upload more, but my phone can't handle multiple for some reason.

I would actually legitimately like to watch some good gameplay that doesn't show survivors running face first into a tv sadaco teleports to like they are listening to music. Or sit on a gen and not run away until she is ontop of them, giving a free hit. Or a distinct lack of COH or a survivor that just puts it next to the gen they are working on.
I actually do have some, I'll try to find out how to post YouTube clips on here

Just because you walked away from the hook doesn't mean you are not camping if you have full intentions of counting to 10 and teleporting back to get whoever is saving.
2, is not a solution
Wait, so what's your point about camping? That you shouldn't do it? Because that's what makes killers like Twins actually good (well before COH existed). And in this case it's just proxy camping which every good killer does anyway. You can't disqualify her just because you don't like camping, and to suggest it has no effect on her ability to play? Can we stop being disingenuous for a second and look at the active tools please?
And if you get a hit in between the time it takes you to get back to the hook? You're getting extra value you wouldn't have without that power.
I can go on and on, but I'm actively playing this killer for the last two weeks, and I play every killer (subtract Trickster). Based on my game time, I can't call her weak, I'm sorry that's what you want me to say, but I'm not going to. She's definitely not in the bottom of killers, she's probably THE BEST STEALTH killer right now, and she's actively fun to play. Idk what to tell you, boss
-
I thought this same thing the other day, like I wish it was a thing but it would just piss of survivors and would be an instant nerf. Honestly, I get into my first chase with her easily enough as is, usually end my first chase with at most a single gen done (a second probably not far behind), so it would be fairly redundant most matches
Tbh the more I think about it, it might just be a waste of a TV use

The (truly messy) form I've been playing with Sadako is Brine/Pop/BBQ and either NOED or Franklin's. My methodology is generally to (endeavor to - hard with no real covertness in what the future held's secrecy executioner) surprise a survivor doing a gen in the early game, M1 them onto a snare, use BBQ to see who's doing gens where so I can go magically transport over and step one, then, at that point, transport back over to the snared survivor similarly as they're getting unfastened or mended and burrow them ridiculously. Do this process again.
All things considered, I'm not winning most or even 50% of my games, and NOED is by all accounts my friend in need in such a large number of the ones that I do win, and I'm simply... not certain what I'm fouling up. I'm actually getting a lot of 3Ks and 4Ks on Myers, Ghostface, and Clown, and in principle, Sadako is superior to them. Dislike I'm not used to M1 ongoing interaction, and the survivors aren't typically doing what's needed tapes to influence my versatility altogether (in spite of there being basically no downside to doing as such).
I'm observing that the way to dominating a match with Sadako is to placed the tension on ahead of schedule and play mean. Burrow that survivor, crush through those beds, eat the Dead Hards and the Borrowed Times and the Decisive Strikes until that survivor is dead. However, assuming I commit the littlest error in the early game or don't follow that technique perfectly, it's finished.
How can you play Sadako? What's more, would you say you are obtain preferred outcomes over me? I understand that she's not by and large a S-level executioner, but rather I'm actually kicking a wide range of ass with Clown and Ghostface (and I don't utilize his instadowns), so I feel like I should be missing something significant here.
Side inquiry: Maybe I'm missing something, yet I'm not seeing that the addon that apparently adds Hindered to survivors after Manifestation is busy. I get the Apparition score occasion, yet nothing onscreen shows that the Hindered status impact was added, and the survivors appear to be ready to run at ordinary speed and vault not surprisingly. Likewise, the addon that makes survivors shout inside a specific range doesn't constantly appear to work, either (do they need to confront you or something to that effect?).
At this point, about half the Forums thinks she's terrible just because she's not anti-loop.
I still think she's around mid B at worst, but my disagreement aside, there are absolutely multiple things you can do to sure up your Sadako Gameplay.
1. Use perks that work with her kit. BBQ is a great choice for info, but I wouldn't run Franklin's unless there is absolutely an item you want out of the game, as it can end up just being a wasted slot otherwise. NOED isn't ever really the worst perk you could pick, but it relies on you doing poorly during the active game mostly, which if you are getting in your early hits and hooks, shouldn't even be an issue, depending on perks.
Any passive slowdown on her is good, but slowdowns that give to info are best, like Pain resonance or DMS (or both). Now you slowed or hit the most active gen, and the only counterplay (letting go of gen before hook) is soft-countered by the fact you can just travel to that gen immediately and make it lock for 30 seconds.
I'd also use a chase/utility perk with her. Maybe STBFL or even possibly forced penance of you're facing a SWF (having instant, sneaky access to the map and survivors can't heal for almost as long as a TV is down is just powerful, even if you can't use her healing condemned add-on with it.
2. Trust your instincts. If you have a hook, you chase a survivor somewhere else and get a hit on them, you can TP back immediately and catch the unhooker off guard right now before he even makes it to the hook and either force him away or grab/hook trade.
What can the survivors do about that? Guess where your TV is, hunt it down before grabbing the survivor at the hook, and pray there isn't a second one about 20 meters away, out of LOS? Not to mention when you see a TV go off, you start to just know where people are and where to rush to defend. Also if you can see an angle a survivor is running at and think you can at the very least get condemned stacks on them? Go for it, you will be surprised how much you can get around someone because unfortunately people can't see everywhere all at once, from above or below. I wouldn't call Condemned 100% negligible either, I get a few condemned kills a day, and probably force it more often than I ever could on someone like say, pig
3. Demanifest often, at all given opportunities. It doesn't matter if you think they'll hear or see you, play the game as if you are blissfully unaware of your "lullaby" because it is honestly barely there and if anything , I'd argue her unique visuals would give her away more than anything, but regardless I am almost always able to get a quick early hit on survivors, and it works surprisingly well at most tall loops. Of course don't waste too much time at loops where you can easily be seen, but there are points where you can use her power to force bad reactions similarly to old spirit, albeit less powerful (OP as many survivor players found it) than spirits.
Could she maybe use a buff? Yes, I can see where she can at least be adjusted slightly, but she is not a bad killer just because she doesn't have a gun or Shred. But she is definitely a capable killer, and I get far more 3-4K's with her than 0-1K's. I don't want them all, but I still win most, and I know I've had games some survivors would call BS on (but everyone thinks she's so weak so I don't get hatemail for mori'ing at 0-1 gen completed.

I have a feeling the devs will see her as not needing anymore buffs in the immediate future. Then again, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of complaint threads about her so who knows lol

I disagree that every killer wants to run it always. I hardly ever run the perk, for instance, if I'm running a hex/ruin build. I would rather survivors go onto the first gens they llsee typically, as it makes getting into my first chase a lot easier to predict, p fact I'd argue for killers like Artist, Pinhead, and maybe Trapper, your just as good if not better of running gen regression/ other gen block perks.
I also think it can be very map dependent. On maps like Coal tower? Amazing? Maps like The Game, RPD, and most badhams? Waste of a perk slot in some cases... My opinion of course

Doubt it. She's a strong killer now
They could buff her TV time slightly, otherwise I honestly agree. She is sick, such a dopamine rush

That's probably because most people playing Sadako (from my experience) aren't used to trying to use stealth in chase, because for most killers outside of Spirit, cloaking and uncloaking in chase loses you too much time.
Also what the hell are you even talking about. Wraith uses cloak to bodyblock & speed boost, Ghostface's is just a free red stain removal, Pig can do some nutty ambush attacks on certain loops with a little bit of skill and luck, and Myers is just Myers.
The fact that you consider Spirit's ability a stealth ability baffles me.
How many pigs are using her ambush at loops when people hold W? GF is a weak killer because you can see him even with his red stain gone, and again just hold W. Myers is considered by many the worst killer in the game.
I'll give you wraith, save for he's considered awful now because of his nerfs, regardless of the strongest way to play him.
Either way, Sadako is my favorite current killer, it doesn't matter if you have a different opinion than I do on her.

Tl walls can be played as any m1 killer effectively tho, so no need to even use demanifestation unless you wanna do some tricky stuff.
I heavily disagree on sadakos unpredictability, she is an m1 killer, can't dash can't rush, she is limited to normal speed, so in a loop she is as predictable as a wraith, imo both shimmer and demanifestation are as easily identifiable, even if she tps mid chase to confuse you, you can still position yourself in a safe spot ready to loop again, and if she is not going for you just hop on a gen, there is not that much technique to dunk on her.
She can go to another survivor or hook at anytime during the chase.. But ok, I get it, she's not everybodies favorite, I said she's my current favorite and I'm still having a blast with her either way.

Actually verticality wld help her, idk if you’ve ever played her on maps like swamp, rpd, haddonfield? But I’d rather keep her at 4.6 than give her verticality (which was my point) You’re right, u shld only rlly use one bird at a time cos the cool-down is too big unless u can guarantee a hit. Smart survivors will just run away from the loop forcing u to M1 them, that’s where stbfl comes into play cos u can easily catch up with the w keying survivor. Severed tongue allows me to use recon even in mid chase to check gens without losing too much distance.
You know what, that's a fair point about the swamp maps as well as any level with slight elevation. I don't think it would be worth losing 4.6 over, but I wish her beards just tracked the terrain better in general, I could see them going under the hill at Shack and providing no info.. and RPD is probably a nightmare too. I don't play her enough tbh but I feel for people that chose to main her

You can barely call her a stealth killer, as her stealth is absoloute toilet.
Her stealth beats ghost face and Pigs easily, she is harder to see, faster uncloak, and her kit isn't as one dimensional. I'd argue she's better than wraith even, he just has ok invisibility that most of the time can't even get him a free hit because of how crap his windstorm affect is now.
Honestly the only stealth killer I'd argue is outright better in stealth is Spirit, but she doesn't have amazing mobility and without MDR, poorer ability to out-position survivors as you can't be sure where they are 100%

Honestly I thought this a couple of weeks ago, I thought maybe if she cld be 4.4 and then maybe give her crows vertical manoeuvrability it wld make her stronger and less map dependent, however good survivors just hold w and barely give me a chance to actually use my crows other than for recon. I started using stbfl and severed tongue on her and it’s helped tremendously in catching up with good survivors who just hold w.
Verticality would not help her power at all. The best way to use it is angling it at loops in such a way that they either take a hit from you or get birds, then following it up with another set. But using more than one bird shot at a loop is a waste and means you can't get a hit with them, so just don't waste them unless you know you can get a shot or force a hit with one set.

Maybe against people who dont know what they are doing, I personally haven't been mindgamed by demanifestation once, I have mindgame some survs with it but they were nowhere near decent at the game.
That's probably because most people playing Sadako (from my experience) aren't used to trying to use stealth in chase, because for most killers outside of Spirit, cloaking and uncloaking in chase loses you too much time.
Also, it's not supposed to just win every pallet interaction. That's the whole reason so.eone like spirit got nerfed, their invis power was too in their favor. Sadako can be just as difficult to predict at some loops, and TL walls are usually a piece of cake that survivors never can feel to safe at.
Unless you 4K with nurse every single game, I don't get why you would think a killer not having 100% 0 counterplay would be good. Hell, even the best nurses face counterplay, they don't win every pub match, let alone Tournament level.
