  • Same. I bought the DLC and expected to have at least the basic skins for all the Legion members. Instead I have two masks and two bodies and would need to spend a ton more money to get them all.

What happened with KSP? I was considering purchasing that game...

They made some quote genderneutral which is totally the same as slapping a monthly cost into a game that never was advertised/sold as a game requiring a monthly fee to play.

Usually I'd take that as a joke, but it sounds exactly like the kind of thing those anti-SJW snowflakes would complain about.

It was Chinese ppl not anti-sjws. Also most people are anti-SJW now.

Same difference. I mean anti-SJW in the sense of people who get triggered when someone says "Happy holidays".

Nice to see angry survivors in their best form defending trash killer, just because they think "weak killer = easy wins".

No, not easy wins. No one will play Legion, because they will play your beloved Nurse instead.

So if you want diversity - you should vote for fair and balanced changes for the weakest killers with Legion on the front line.

it's an astounding level of cognitive dissonance

That moment when every angry survivor kid searches Google for "cognitive dissonance".

My kingdom for a "LOL" button!

Can't quote something like this without reading it, but I'm done... I almost avoided responding to you from the beginning of this because of the issues I've had with you before...

I've tried to be polite this whole time, but obviously that's a useless endeavor with someone who acts so childish and can't even back up what they write.

have fun, I've got more important things to do than argue over such a moronic post to begin with.

    deuces.

Yes, the third iteration is the iteration after the perk became useless. In other words, the iteration prior to the third iteration (i.e.: the second iteration) was the one when the perk became useless.

  • @Avariku said:
its not irrelevant if we're talking about the changes made to the perk overall AND especially not irrelevant if you're going to use the third version to claim it as what makes the perk the "most worthless".

I already gave my input on the information you provided, so I guess it's just a difference of opinion at this point.

I still see an upside listed in the changes you showed while I see no upside on the OP.

that being said, I could definitely support some changes to DS. Like the one I saw before about only the obsession being able to use it...  but giving the killer the power to completely nullify the perk by not bringing in an obsession perk seems one-sided.

I didn't claim the third version is what makes the perk "most worthless". Nowhere did I say anything that could even remotely be interpreted in that manner... if you're paying attention, that is.

If you want a civil conversation, you'd do well to actually read what I'm writing.

  • @Avariku said:
if you only provided the first and the second without the "third" how was I supposed to compare it?

no need to act all condescending, yes I read what you wrote. good grief, is it not possible to have a polite conversation with you?

Because the nerf was between the original and second versions. The third/current version is irrelevant when it comes to show you the massive nerf that perk suffered.

    Scripts are bannable...

They updated eac! Now AUTO HOT KEYS are bannable guys. It is not a coincidence my acc got banned today and everyone is writing on the post that was banned today

Macros have always been bannable, since they're third-party software. Apparently, they just never triggered EAC.

  • @Avariku said:
while part of that IS a nerf, there is something in it that I would consider a buff... the removal of the requirement to be in a chase for 20s for it to even activate.

and aside from that its more of a mechanic change than a nerf when it changes from the flat percentages to the token system.

I will absolutely agree that it seems weaker, but when compared to the OP here... at least it has an upside...

Uh... Did you read what I wrote? The first version was how the perk was released. The second version was after it was gutted. What we have now is the third iteration of the perk, after it became the most worthless perk in existence.

  • This is why you shouldn't use stuff you know could very well get you banned if EAC gets twitchy. Now there's nothing that can be done; ban appeals will likely fall on deaf ears.

  • @Avariku said:
that doesn't really give me much to go on, what was nerfed about it?

Original: You become obsessed with one Survivor. As long as your Obsession is alive, the cooldown of missed attacks is decreased by 14/18/20 %. The cooldown of successful attacks is decreased by 25/29/33 %.

Gutted: You become obsessed with one Survivor. As long as your Obsession is alive, after being in a chase for 20 seconds the cool-down for your next successful attack is decreased by 30/35/40 %. Your successful attack cool-down remains active for 5 seconds after not being in a chase and is lost after those 5 seconds have past if no Chase is initiated.

Trust me, if Survivor perks were nerfed in a single patch as much as Killer perks, they might finally gain some perspective. Either that or stage an armed assault on BHVR's headquarters.

  • @Avariku said:
please show me any killer nerf that would be equivalent to this, if you can I'll take back what I said.

Save The Best For Last went from a very useful (and used) Killer perk to absolute garbage in a single patch.

It replicates a series of key presses. You can also put it on a loop for repetitive actions like wiggling or struggling on the hook.

It would be if not bannable by EAC system...

Feel bad for you man... I got banned on my main, level 50 on steam, 1000 hours on csgo 400on dbd and many other games

Wait, you got banned on multiple games?

Nope. I was just saying that I got banned on my main that costs $$$....

If you were banned on Steam that's one thing. If you were banned on DbD, it shouldn't have influenced other games.

Man other games are ok . BUT I HAVE A GAME BAN! My steam is now trashable....

Assuming you're not lying about the macro, it's a ban you can explain. You don't have to trash your entire account because of one ban, that's absurd.

No worries man, appreciate any help given.

Drivers; not the actual hardware. Sometimes, GPU drivers are buggy and break graphics on some games.

  • A good ranking system shouldn't try to compensate for the odd rounds when you get unlucky. If you're meant to be at a higher rank, your overall winrate will determine your rank; not any one round where you got unlucky.
Inversely, if the ranking system overcompensates for unlucky rounds, people with a low skill level will end up at a high rank. The safety/black pip is a good example of this.
I wholeheartedly agree with this idea.

That, and the bad sticks out more than the good. You can meet a dozen nice people, but then one bad guy comes along and suddenly you look at your entire session as a negative experience.

In any case, please report toxic people. We've got chat logs and we do review them and ban for that sort of thing.

are you really saying (AS MOD) its ok and u have to expect to get insulted because killers play like a "dick"? for real dude? i payed for money for this game, i play by the rules etc. but if i dont follow the made up survivor rules its ok for them to insult me and throw some toxic behavior at me. thanks dude, really.

In the future, and especially in the next generation of consoles. So long as Microsoft and Nintendo don’t botch there launches again, it’s very unlikely Sony will be able to remain very opposed to Cross Play, without losing a substantial amount of customers.

Wanna bet? I think they're going to keep being stubborn.

  • @powerbats said:
Sony will always be the holdout on this since they don't want people to be able to play on other platforms.

They have this backwards logic about it. Apparently, they believe that allowing people to play with their friends on other platforms will lower profits on their own. Of course, anyone with a grain of common sense knows that the exact opposite happens - if the other consoles offer more options, people will just move to those.

EULA/ToS VERY often are void in many countries.

Is that relevant for this particular instance? Is there a piece of legislation on any country on Earth where DbD is sold that both supersedes the EULA and forces game developers to do what the OP is complaining about?

no just pointing it out because I'm sick and tired of ppl wanting other people to act decent, respectful and want them to take responsibility for what they're doing. That is not the way we should grow up in the west.

So you just wanted to raise an irrelevant issue. If you want anarchy, try Somalia back when they had no government. I hear it was a paradise.

OP signed a legal contract without reading it. OP is now making demands that go outside the terms of said legal contract. OP is in the wrong here, end of story.

    Hello @SmokePotion

I am taking the time to clarify a bit on the questions / feedback you have:

    • We have been releasing on Tuesdays since the Year 2 anniversary and the introduction to our new roadmap. It is normal players will assume a release is planned on Tuesday.
    • We are not announcing dates for multiple reasons, specifically because we have exclusivity engagements with partners. These are legal bound contracts and we have to stick to the release schedule.
    • We release information on changes / patch notes every single time we patch. If you are interested, they are published in your news pop-up (in-game) as well as the official forums.
    • You bought this game and by doing so, you bought a revocable license.

    From the EULA

    • BHVR hereby grants to you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-assignable and fully revocable license to use the Game and any Content therefrom for your individual, non-commercial, entertainment purposes only.
    • From time to time, BHVR may provide you with updates or modifications to the Game. You understand that certain updates and modifications may be required in order to continue the use of the Game.

The way that reads then Twitch is not allowed either for "non-commercial" use. Just saying!

Nope. Twitch is entertainment. Donations are just that - donations. You don't have to pay to watch, last I checked.

  • The irony here is that a thread like this also comes up every time.

  • "When" is a matter of perspective. For an outside observer, the past, present, and future occur simultaneously.
