Im saying the killers won't have any survivors to play against if this nerf war continues.
But, I see you cut that part of the quote off to hide the truth and manipulate it to suit your side
It doesn't change anything. This game has never had a lack of survivors. Killers are the ones who leave the game because they get fed up with how unbalanced it is.

When the infection timer runs out, you also drop one health state.

Not defensive, just pointing out that it's about as clever as not running on the highway.

Soooooo yeah. Hes not going away. Apparently he hides his psn name so people cant just spam report him. Gotta say it's a smart move on his part.
It's the most braindead thing you can do. A monkey would be able to figure it out.

That's it? they get sick and are noisy?
They're injured and become Broken (unable to heal). I'd say that's acceptable for a status effect granted by a ranged power.

I liked it, but as much as I love the Red Forest, it needs to be its own thing.

Do you think it's possible to use head on to free a survivor on the killers shoulders?
Probably. Even if the stun doesn't force the killer to drop the survivor, it's still 3 seconds of wiggling for free.

I wonder if the numbers are definitive or only of level 1 of the perks
The numbers are not definitive.

@The_Crusader said:
I'm guessing they will suffer some kind of penalty. This killer seems like a game slower, and I think they said (not 100% sure) that the survivors become more sick over time if they don't cleanse.
The penalty needs to be something useful, though. Something actively damaging, like an RBT (when it triggers, that is), as opposed to something annoying, like Madness.
-
@Bongbingbing said:
I wish they went more in depth about the Killers Powers.
What Happens to a survivor if they're infected and don't cleanse themselves?
How long does it take for something to happen to a survivor once infected?
What is the Power up to the killers power that she gets from a used Fountain?
They mentioned the power-up. The power will injure survivors (drop them one health state).
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
What is the point of this killers power? Why do i want the survivors to be sick? Is it just for noise and the green glow?...
Not sure. I didn't catch what sickness actually does to them, besides the noise and vomiting.

@Dspigroach said:
Who is this Ochido?
Nobody.
-
@NickMilian said:
I was also wondering this - if they choose not to cleanse will it kill them eventually? I would assume so with it being a "plague".
It does need to have a drawback that's stronger than revealing your location, to make survivors want to cleanse themselves.

@FallenOrpheus said:
I didn't get to see her perks. Can somebody tell me what they are?
Survivor perks:
Solidarity - Healing a survivor heals you as well. 50% is the percentage they have now.
Poised - After a generator is completed, you leave no scratch marks for 10 seconds.
Head On - After being in a locker for 3 seconds, you stun the killer for 3 seconds if you rush out of the locker while they're nearby. Triggers Exhaustion and cannot be used while Exhausted.
-
Some info:
Vile Purge is the killer's power. It makes you throw up on objects and survivors. Both become infected.
Survivors then have to interact with "The Pool of Devotion", which are fountains of (holy?) water. They heal survivors, not just cure them.
After survivors heal up, the fountains become power-ups for the killer. And then the power becomes different. It injures survivors.
The Plague moves at regular speed, and the power slows her while charging. However, while the power is actually being used, she moves at regular speed.
First perk, Dark Devotion:
Dark Devotion is an obsession perk. If you hit the obsession, the obsession will take on your terror radius. Meaning, they exude a TR, and you do not. The obsession hears the TR as well, and all TR-related effects trigger off of the obsession instead.
Second perk, Infectious Fright:
WIP name "######### your pants".
Put a survivor in the dying state, and all other survivors in your TR will reveal their location.
Third perk, Corrupt Intervention:
The three furthest generators from you when the trial starts will be blocked by the Entity for a few seconds, making them impossible to interact with.

To make killers' basekits viable, remove drawbacks for using powers effectively and proactively, and instead keep them for using powers ineffectively. For example:
- The Cannibal is slowed while charging his chainsaw, even though the chainsaw is only effective at close range and this slowed movement allows survivors to get away. Why is that, when he already gets stunned for several seconds after hitting an object?
- The Wraith is slowed when cloaking and slowed when uncloaking. The movement speed buff he gets after uncloaking is basically just compensating for the slowed movement speed while uncloaking. Why is that, when he's still very noticeable while cloaked and makes a lot of noise cloaking and uncloaking?
- The Pig is slowed when crouching, slowed while crouched, and slowed while charging the ambush. She also makes a ton of noise when she uses the ambush (well, before she uses the ambush, which is part of the problem). Why is that, when she's already slowed after a missed ambush and is blatantly noticeable while crouching? Not to mention the fact that RBTs are a non-threat by design.
These killers' powers already have drawbacks when used ineffectively, but they're hindered further by odd design choices that make their powers punishing to use in the first place, for no good reason. Remove these drawbacks instead of making add-ons to deal with them, and you make their basekits viable.

It's not any language I know, but I've heard similar words before. It somewhat reminds me of Irish.
EDIT: At least I think so. Kinda hard to tell with the whispering. I hate it when characters whisper. Add some ######### subtitles!

I don't think there is any relation to Mali flag whatsoever.
In the past, people thought that diseases were curses and priests could cure them. Hell, even in the USA right now, people believe in 'faith healing'. The place is called the temple of purgatory too, and purgatory means 'having the quality of cleansing or purifying'. Most probably something related to a priestess and faith healing.
The map is going to be one of those places where religious masochists torture themselves to "purify" themselves.

@Orion thanks for listening to me with the quote thing (strange bug huh, do you get it?) And I'm sorry if I implied something. I obviously think killer nerfs and buffs should be discussed I'm sorry if I came across as someone who didnt. But don't go assuming things about me, I'm a strange man ok? But yeah I apologise for any misconceptions you may have had. Good afternoon (or morning or night depending on where you live)
@Poweas Did you just presume I exist in any one time period?

@Froggard728 said:
Ah yeah I know they've been made to be harder to hit the right spot but it still makes people just leave lobbies when they see them. I don't even use flashlights as I'm rubbish with them, but I'd like to be able to take firecrackers, keys, toolboxes and medkits without them leaving.
I hear you, but until these grievances are addressed, hiding items is just going to make the problem worse. For the moment, I'm doing my part: as killer, I don't dodge items, and as survivor, I don't bring them in. When the issues surrounding items are resolved, I will support some kind of penalty for dodging, but only then.

@Orion I'm not pretending that it's killer sided. Im stating a fact. I never said it's due to bias, I simply said it's a killer sided forum. Stop twisting my words. God damn. I know the game is unbalanced, genrushing is insane, all it takes is one smart survivor to destroy a killer and survivors are in control. I literally play killer at rank 1 I experience this everyday like you do. Stop twisting my words and looking for an argument in which I will be honest btw if you respond you have to @ me since I dont seem to be getting notifications if im quoted.
@Poweas I say "pretending" because the implication in your comment as a general statement that killer nerfs should not be discussed, followed by your assertion that the forum is "killer sided", is that most people here are biased toward killers.
-
@Froggard728 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/346123#Comment_346123
When? Haven't seen anything said about that before.
Flashlight blinds have been changed to require more skill from the survivors and be less annoying for the killers, for example. Overall, though, dodging is not as severe an issue as, say, infinite loading screens or game crashes, which is why there's been little activity in this area.
-
@Poweas said:

@Orion stop assuming I think that survivors are weak. I know they're still OP compared to killers. I think solo survivor is BORING not weak. I play specifically Killer because of that.
So why are you pretending that the forum being "killer sided", as you called it, is due to bias rather than recognition of the game's unbalanced state?

@AshleyWB said:
What realm do you think the new dlc will be in?
A new one or will it be added to asylum or huntress realm?
Temple of purgatory sounds asylum or new realm.
You should read up on purgatory; how the belief in it originated, how it spread, and so on. It's a new realm.
-
Killers should not be punished for playing efficiently.
-
@Froggard728 said:
So if flashlights are the main cause of the problem, address those. There has to be a way to try and improve the problem of lobby dodging
That's what's being done.
-
No, I don't think getting dodged is fun. However, addressing the symptom isn't going to help in any way, it'll just make the problem worse. To you, maybe playing against survivors who have overpowered (borderline broken) items, some of which are just used to be toxic little pieces of #########, is fun, but for most people, it's not, and so they dodge.
-
Break the totems.

I agree that survivors shouldn't have a free escape but killers shouldn't have a guaranteed hook when using iron grip either. The perks survivors do have to counter that perk are very niche and rarely help you in those situations because it varies on maps. Someone will probably say perks aren't meant to be useful all the time but plenty of them are useful all the time or guarantee a good use. But in my opinion perks like DS and iron grip shouldn't exist period.
Iron Grasp adds two seconds (1.92 seconds, if you want to be more precise) of carry time. It guarantees nothing. Another difference is that for a killer to get any use out of Iron Grasp, they actually had to do something right, whereas for the survivor to get any use out of DS, they had to do something wrong.

I feel like Nurse could use a CD timer for 10 seconds with 110% movement speed. She can also get her auto-aim back since it will help newcomers get the basics down.
Spirit is balanced in my opinion.
Billy needs a few buffs such as maybe some ramps to boost him in the air for some fast mobility.
Etc... Etc... every killer needs a few buffs in my opinion besides Nurse and Spirit.
The Nurse's basekit is fine where it is now. Aim assist, which is what she had, was hot garbage and rarely - if ever - helped anyone.

@Orion be honest, this is an incredibly killer sided forum.
Maybe because we who play both sides realize that survivors are powerful.

You don’t never escape a killer beyond 10 seconds because they would simply jump over everything to get at you.
Your loops would never save you.
Looping just delays losing the chase. Nobody wins chases by looping.

How @Sinner say the real PROBLEM with noed is of it allows noob killers (Rank 20) to rank up too fast.. and this is a very big problem.. tell me how a rank 20 know what is a totem?
What? The game has a learning curve? How awful that you can't just pick it up and immediately know everything about it!
In case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm.

Every time a survivor is hit, the killer says "I think you're doing a pretty good job so far!" in Mathieu's voice.
