Doc probably just forgot about her. He's just a human afterall.
Indeed. I've already informed him of the mistake
and will remove the faulty information. Hell, I've been playing Pig a lot, and even I didn't notice that she moves at 115%.The article is locked, so we'll have to wait until Doc gets on his computer.

That's the hypothesis, but it may also be a bug.

Woah! Nice profile pic! Who is that?? Did you get a leaked killer??
Looks like another deformed killer, like the Hillbilly.
-
No main: I may have MPD/DID.
-
I think this is fine. It'll make the perk more consistent.

I didn't see any pallet buffs?
Increased the minimum number of pallets and made them spawn closer together on one of the maps. I'd say those are buffs.
-
Survivors had this ability a while back. They abused it so much that queue times skyrocketed and it had to be taken away.

Wait, I thought luck didn't affect chests. Didn't Mathieu mention that in a dev stream? I could be wrong, of course. Hell, I kinda hope I am! Might start using Up the Ante more if it affects chests 😁
Yeah, seems I was wrong about that.
-
I'm not too fond of the pallets being buffed, but I think this is a net positive.

Poor bastards got massacred? FeelsBadMan
Indeed. I usually go easy on survivors (lose them in a chase, let them unhook in my face, that kind of thing), but this time I went all out with my insta-down Pig build (NOED, Rancor, Haunted Ground, MYC) and they were just crushed.
-
...Oh.
I took a ######### Ebony Memento Mori to rush my last trial because I thought it was already out and didn't want to dodge. Now I feel bad.

Agreed.

Leaving the game is bannable but they included an option to leave the game. :D
Leaving the game excessively is bannable, but the devs recognize that, sometimes, you have to leave due to real-life emergencies, which outweigh the importance of a game. That's why the option is there, just like in every other game in existence.

Offtopic, how many of the legacy cosmetics owners still play the game?
My guess would be most of them.

I think survivors should get points for escaping through the gate, that's like removing BP for hooking people.
I said remove the bonus; not remove the BP. They get 5k for escaping.
-
@MhhBurgers said:
Just remove the bonusBP for hatch and give bonusBP for escaping through the gates.
It doesn't make sense anyways to give BonusBP for escaping through the "you lost but here's a participation trophy" tunnel.
Just remove the bonus altogether.

I dont wanna overplay, my time's worth~~ and dont wanna renounce to my build
@powerbats ur idea is cool, but survs base with crappy perks like Ace got prejudiced
If you're that dependent on perks to survive, then you'd definitely just equip another crutch perk.

I wanted to equip "Up the Ante" as 5th slot to check its feasibility
Equip it as a 4th perk instead. Problem solved.

Yes, they would. It's what they're doing now, it's what they'd do in that hypothetical scenario. Why are you pretending otherwise?

If we had more perk slots we could experiment with low-tier perks
currently everyone just equips the strongest perks due to the lack of slots
That's not how it would go, and you know it. People would just equip a fifth powerful perk.

@xmenfanatic said:
Most people do and it’s irrational since any character can have any perk and be played in any fashion,
It's not irrational so much as it is expected behavior based on prior experiences.
-
@xmenfanatic said:
Up the Ante at Tier 3 gives 3% for each OTHER survivor. So it provides a bonus of 9% for everyone as long as 3 survivors are alive. Added to the 4% bonus, each escape attempt you have
13% w/ all four still alive when first hooked
- 87% chance at failure
10% w/ three still alive when first hooked
- 90% chance at failure
7% w/ teo still alive when first hooked
- 93% chance at failure
0% for the last survivor if solo since it’s an insta-dead
A perk to pair with this one is Slippery Meat which will give 1/2/3 more attempts to escape.
If you use Vigo’s Jar of Salty Lips, it’ll increase your escape chance by 3%. If all four survivors use it, it’ll add a 12% chance if escape thus:
25% w/ all four still alive when first hooked
- 75% chance at failure
22% w/ three still alive when first hooked
- 78% chance at failure
19% w/ teo still alive when first hooked
- 81% chance at failure
0% for the last survivor if solo since it’s an insta-dead
The chance of escape is s also highly dependent on certain perameters. For example if escape is done by generating a number, it might be a circumstance that it is a guaranteed escape if the number 1-4 is generated out of 100. This would make it so that each time you try and escape it is still unlikely you will make it out thought, slightly more likely.
They could have it set up where once a number has been generated for an escape attempt, say 83 was generated, it couldn’t be generated the second or third escape(4th, 5th, 6th w/ slippery meat)
that would mean the second attempt has 99 numbers to pick from, the third has 98, etc.
it could also be that your escape precentage chooses that many numbers out of 100 randomly, and a complicated algorithm picks numbers at “random”.
The 4 salty lips scenario is not very likely though, I’ve probably played 2 games with that circumstance in my two years and one was specifically planned.
in the end using these perks won’t guarantee an escape in a game because the odds will always be against you for one, but you will get an escape maybe one out of every 3 games if you try and escape instead of waiting it out and hoping for a rescue.
You're forgetting that the percentage is per attempt, with a minimum of 3 attempts, following a binomial distribution.

I believe it's a big no-no to go back on your word as developers and essentially ######### on the dedication of your oldest players just because the newbies can't take "no" for an answer.

No legacy, no extra perk slots. You people have to learn that "no" means "no".

Can I ask what your source is regarding luck affecting chest items? I've never seen a credible source that confirms this. The DBD Wikipedia (not that I automatically assume that it is 100% correct) has no mention of this as well.
My source is common sense. It's RNG-based, therefore luck should affect it.

Add a stream delay.

I wonder if the fountains are cleansed of the corruption once the Plague uses a corrupted fountain to power herself up, or if they are no longer useable by the survivors for the rest of the game once they’re corrupted.
I think they are cleansed of corruption, yes.

But I wouldn't hook everybody in a corner unless I know that there's reachable hooks, otherwise I'll slug to win. Most times they either crawl under a hook or bleedout.
With Hangman's Trick, you don't need to slug nor care about where you hook them.
Maybe it doesn't work for you because you have better map awareness than I do, but I have a very poor sense of orientation, so it's useful for me.

I never found a good use of it, perks like Iron Grasp or Agitation seem to stop any deadzones anyway, plus you can always wait out the survivor if you slug them in their area, just wait for a hook to spawn. Providing they're last survivor that is.
But hooks broken by sacrifices do not respawn... unless you use Hangman's Trick. Iron Grasp is worthless, doesn't even add two seconds of wiggle time.
-
"Kiss of death" complete with vomit. Either that or bludgeoned to death with that censer.
-
@SlothGirly said:
Well Hangman's trick is a perk that exists...
Honestly, I found it to be quite useful. Prevents deadzones intentionally created by survivors and all around guarantees you will never run out of hooks.
-
With Up The Ante and Slippery Meat, you have a 64.9% chance to self-unhook. Up The Ante also affects item quality in chests and both affect attempts to escape from traps. Luck probably affects even more things we're not aware of.

That's an awful idea. Not everyone likes stealth play. In fact, I've seen a great number of people say that they enjoy being in chases rather than being an immersed gen-jockey.
Then they shouldn't have bought an asymmetrical horror game where the killer is supposed to be something you want to hide from, as opposed to something you can loop indefinitely. This wasn't advertised as Benny Hill simulator, last I checked.
-
I only miss the time when looping wasn't so prevalent. The devs need to get rid of it completely and make stealth play the only play.

Points? A sliver of hope for a comeback? Being in character? I don't need justification for trying to escape instead of giving up.
I'm not saying you need justification, I was just curious.
-
I think you should leave the Nurse as she is. She's probably the only killer that actually puts the "horror" in this asymmetrical horror game, not to mention requiring the survivors to actually adapt.

I have seen people use it in a way of saying the killer is no longer there. I think people use it in different ways. Some people probably just do it because they're bored.
It always meant "the killer is nearby", but in retrospect, it does appear to signal the opposite.
-
It means "the killer is nearby" and has been a thing since the game was released.

Eventually.

Its your fault, u shouldnt let them escape via the hatch...
The plan was for the last one to fix a generator so I could get them with NOED. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
-
DCing is automatically punished, but the percentage required is fairly high (albeit unknown). You don't need to report people for DCing.
-
That depends, are you actually cheating? If not, then you've got nothing to worry about.

@ClogWench said:
If we've been hooked then no I'll likely just die. If not I'll try and escape to pick people up and snowball a comeback.
Either way, what's the point? The killer has nothing to do except chase you. Even if you wiggle off, you'll be back on the ground before you know it.

@PhantomMask20763 said:
I mean sure, I always wiggle unless I'm the last survivor and I want the killer to kill me
Why, though, if you know it's not going to do anything?
-
I was playing the Pig, found two survivors on the same generator. Injured one, downed the other, put an RBT, then hooked.
While I picked her up, another survivor came in with a flashlight, and failed to blind me. However, she didn't leave me alone after she failed. She kept trying to bait me to attack her. When she ran away, I chased a bit to try to hit her, and that's when a third survivor unhooked the first one. Naturally, I gave chase to the unhooked, since I hadn't had time to get far enough away for MYC to trigger. Both those guys kept swarming me, so I ended up putting them all in the dying state.
Meanwhile, I find the fourth survivor and slug him as well. In the post-game chat, I'm informed that I'm being reported for camping, and that "camp=ban". One of them even tells me he's chatting with a mod at that very moment (very VIP) to get me banned.
Only one survivor had the common sense to realize that I didn't do anything wrong and said as much. Since I'm totally gonna be banned for camping, this is probably gonna be my last story. Oh well.
-
I appreciate your appreciation of me.
