A team of 3 disconnected leaving me completely alone after one of them got downed. The killer, a Hag, let me do 2 gens to escape trough the hatch.
I added the killer and now we play DBD together from that faithful day. <3
-
Holy moly. I would love this to no end!
What would her perks be tho? What would fit her as a very brave survivor like her?
-
This is obviously a laggy killer. I play Plague a lot and this never happen.
-
Does Kermit agree with the thread or not?
Just kidding, focus on the discussion.

Faulty logic. The perk itself isn't toxic and obviously less than a second long stun is absurd. It should not be affected by Enduring, start at 4 seconds and each time it gets used by survivors the stun time is reduced by 1 second.
NOED is beloved by toxic killers so I guess it should be nerfed by your logic. And since BBQ is probably the most common killer perk it is, by default, the most popular perk among toxic killers. Guess it should be nerfed as well.
They could destroy NOED for all I care for, I don't use it and I find it stupid in the first place. The reworked DS wasn't made so that survivors could unhook others in front of the killer and mock you because of their "Touch me and I stun you" status effect. I could slug... but where's the fun in that?
BBQ was striked down with the lockers rework, I find it ok now and from what I know... it's used mainly for the bloodpoints. Really... Do I strike you as a NOED user? Haven't you read my posts in the past?

"Dead Hard only works once against mediocre killers"
This doesn't make sense. Does the fake out only work once? Maybe but it also gets you to pallets or windows you wouldn't if you didn't have DH. I've just barely made it to the exit gate with DH plenty of times, too.
Good killers bait it before attacking or wait to attack even when they don't actually know you have it or not. It has become so common that most killers at level 1 don't lunge anymore but gets close enough to tap. It's very useful in those situations you described but it's also very predictable most of the time.

Hag ate a whole village, and Spirit went absolutely mental. Her rage was pure and powerful, stronger than the entity. It had to strike a deal with her and I think Huntress because they can fight back.
This happened after they were victim of atrocious things. Hag being captured by a village of cannibals and Spirit being killed by her father gone insane. Plague, Hag and Spirit never did anything bad to others but were caught by the Entity because of emotions.
-
Balanced Landing and Lithe are undoubtedly the best exhaustion perks. Dead Hard only works once against mediocre killers and Sprint Bursts slows you down too much to consider it.
Head On? We still have to see it in action for a bit more to be considered.

Why did the entity choose her if she never really did anything bad before she died of the sickness? Billy was abused so he killed his parents and that's why the entity came. The wraith was tricked into killing people, so he went crazy and killed his boss (I think). The nurse went literally crazy and killed a bunch of patients. And so on. What did the plague do other than take a few followers with her when she left? Is her "Abandonment of her people" count as something worth the entity coming and claiming her?
I don't know about how The Entity choses something to be a killer... consider that even Spirit and Hag didn't do anything wrong before becoming killers.
-
Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Can you please stop with this hate-inducing survivors threads and posts?
You used to argument things in a very smart way but with all of this free hate you're spreading lately it's getting quite annoying. Not every survivor is a piece of #########, mind you.
-
Yap. The wood being hit with an axe sound happens everytime The Plague looks up to the sky in prayer.
-
Enemies of the heir, beware.
-
Yap. It is, I used it to save someone that was being camped and he went down like a sack of potato. However, it's not fully bugged... it works sometimes and sometimes not.

I have David and feng being stabbed in the crotch and dabbing Legion
Edit: You're gonna have to click the link to watch the mori, it won't show up as a video like it used to
This is gold.

I've already reported this on a thread back in the PTB days.
I'm quite annoyed they didn't fix it before going live. The good thing is that you can report players for exploit if they refuse to exit after a while.
-
Yes. It works as a stun like any other (flashlight save, pallet and stuff)
-
I actually think the token gain sound is the best thing ever.
I've also made a sound file out of it that I use as a notification sound for my cell phone.
-
Mind my change
Sorry not sorry.
-
It's not that important to be mad about it. It's a fictonal character in a game, don't get all worked up because people are being comical about it.

Legion has, like all killers, a weakness you can exploit,

You still don't get it. This is a joke thread and you responded like this was serious. Just partecipate in the laughter instead of going full killjoy

False equivocation. While yes they both have comparable effects they are still independent perks. So either of them can individually be OP without the other being OP. Thus reworking/nerfing one does not imply that the other needs a rework/nerf too
Correct. Make it so that NOED actually requires the killer to do something else other than being bad at it's job.
inb4: "just cl34nse totems xd" I already do, dw.
-
I think it has to do with latency somehow.
And yeah, it's frustrating when the animation for the grab starts and becomes a slash immediately afterwards.
-
What's with this trend of discussing everything viable survivors have? You know most of the killer mains wants survivors' perks to be at the level of "Slippery Meat" anyways.
And no, Adrenaline rewards people for doing their job.
-
Look how butthurt some people are because someone opened a joke thread that represents reality.
You guys need jesus.

I am non-stop flabbergasted at how blindly biased both sides are. Survivors are not too strong. The average survivor gets destroyed by below average killers. On the flip side, really good survivor TEAMS destroy really good killers.
The problem is how powerful things become in the right hands. The biased "mains" think blanket nerfs and buffs will fix it all, and the developers just keep piling on new killers and perks that exacerbate the problem.
Maybe, if we stopped pointing fingers at the other side and tried to get constructive on how to fix them, we could close the gap.
But, you will likely prefer to keep screaming and crying instead.
Where did I pointed fingers and cried tho? I'm an advocate for both sides to have fun. Killer mains here wants survivors to be garbage in pratically everything they does and that's not the way to do it.
-
Guys, seriously? The vomit range is very generous and it's easy enough to hit for everyone considering how the vomit physics work.
If you get stunned by a pallet while having corrupt purge you only have to blame yourself for being careless.

"Healing doesn't need to be incentivized more. NOT healing needs to be more punishable. That is the solution." That's how so
Before the changes the game was even worse. Healing was too easy and the killer getting hits was meaningless if you weren't downed and hooked.
"Do we really want the game to reduce itself to having survivors not doing anything but gens this bad?"
My solution already addressed this in my first post.
I'm sorry but that would cause a severe uproar. You want to have people punished even more for wasting their time.
"I'm injured but now since they have buffed healing speed I could try using the time healing myself instead of repairing a generator" sounds much better and it's a more understanding and positive change than: "I'm injured and If I heal myself I would be punished and waste too much time to be helpful. Time to work on a gen and get my adrenaline".
I don't think you're wrong but at the same time it's too harsh as a change to create a positive change of how survivors play. Why would you make something frustrating and boring even more dreadful than it already is?
-

I don't think they are getting off track, they are pointing out that you're coming at it from the wrong angle.
Healing doesn't need to be incentivized more. NOT healing needs to be more punishable. That is the solution.
How so? Before the healing nerf everyone preferred to heal over taking the risk of being vulnerable while repairing the generator. Now it's the opposite, you risk too much healing because it's too much of a waste of time you could've invested into repairing, thus having adrenaline sooner and increasing the chances of escaping.
Do we really want the game to reduce itself to having survivors not doing anything but gens this bad?
-
You guys are completely losing sight of what the point of the thread is.
As long as healing takes this long nobody will feel like "Hey! Maybe I should heal myself so I risk less!". The game is not incentivizing survivors to heal at all so that's why most of the survs now gen-rush with Adrenaline. I do so myself because otherwise I would be a huge hindrance to my team.
@tt_ivi_99 said:
Then the problem is Adrenaline, end of story.
No, that's hardly the solution. Accept the fact that Survivors would be extremely disadvantaged if this goes trough. Not everything survivors have needs to be nerfed.
-
Lmao
To be fair most Killers are such crybabies this days they would probably call anything you wear toxic as long as it isn't the default costume..
-
Game could be better with some quality life changes.
Balance wise it's alright but I still think that with the decisive strike changes there should have been changes to mori, too.
The report system really needs to be looked at because of how forgiving it is.
-
The true counter to Nurse is playing on PS4 and Xbox lul
-
Survivor: Pretty much anything. Teammates being bad or Killers being sweaty and toxic without a reason.
Killer: Survivors farming other survivors, griefing, survivors who think are funny by teabagging and clicking flashlights non-stop and disconnecting after getting rolled over.
-
Nobody is saying that. If you read my answer again I was just expecting A LOT more people saying "Yeah I have to run ruin because" instead of "Ruin is bad" because from MY and only MY experience and good players I've talked with said that ruin is pretty much essential in rank 1 and it's worth the risk to get the headstart.
I am just surprised to see so much claims about ruin being bad when in game, at rank 1 survivor, I always go find ruin first because I know there'll be one. It has been like this for months.

I’m not drawing conclusions from the comments, I’m drawing them from r1 experience. 95% of my matches have ruin on them. It’s always like,” no ruin?”, in pure shock when they don’t.
I just find it suspicious is all. If y’all can go no ruin good for y’all, it means you’re exceptionally good. I wasn’t directly pointing fingers at anyone, but if the shoe fits wear it on your head or whatever. It’s really not worth arguing about.
I am also questioning this. If ruin is so bad to the point that none uses it anymore... than why my last 20 matches at rank 1 had all killers with ruin? Gotta be honest, I was expecting a lot of more positive answers to ruin instead of a perk being deemed bad/good for bad players.
-
Ok, so... i ######### up the title. What i meant by "relying" was the importance of bringing ruin into the build. I'll change the title but i'm pretty surprised that nobody here uses ruin.
... you guys forgot to state your ranks, also.
-
This thread is pointless and only serves to create more hate between the killers and the survivors faction.
Move on.
-
In my experience:
- Dwight players tends to always DC first;
- Meg players are filled with hatred;
- Claudette players tends to be the most "experienced" ones. I have yet to meet a terrible Claudette;
- Jake players are rapidly going extinct;
- Nea players are often the most complaining one post-game but will always say "GG" at the end;
- Laurie players are often the first to suicide on hook;
- Bill players are garbage;
- Feng players are the sweetest of things;
- David players are obvious and predictable;
- Ace players are man-child;
- Quentin players are extremely toxic;
- Tapp players are... a mistery;
- Kate players are pretty chill, seems the one I have more "GGs" from.
- Adam players are terrible at loops but are always in first line to help someone else
- Jeff players are okay-ish, I just met too little to classify them.
I have also many things to say about the killer mains, too. If you are going to open a thread about that 8)

-
I'm surprised but at the same time not. Her default is very well done and her prestige is freaking scary to look at.
-
No, this would be absolutely broken even in rare occasions.
-
Whispers works like a radar. It tells you were to check and where not to go, the rest is up to you and your game sense.
Basically, saves a fuckton of time.
-
Monitor & Abuse is excellent on her, almost core perk. Gives you enough time to get close to survivors and vomit on them otherwise they would just preemptively run away.
For the 4th one it's really up to you, i'd honestly go for spirit fury since pallets are what hinders her for the most part. You can also consider Play with your food since it doesn't count for Vile Purge but only for Corrupt Purge.
Other meta things like Nurse's calling, Thanato, Sloppy and etc. are, suprisingly, a big no-no on her. Simply because of the instaheal at fountains... if it wasn't for that, Thanato would be almost OP in her hands.
-
Depends if the survivor is in my line of sight or not whenever i down the 3rd one, i'm not gonna slug and prolong the game for just some bloodpoints. I hate being slugged and I do not feel like doing that to others... unless they've been very unpleasant to play with.
-
That's now how it works.
It's not a matter on how bad or good a killer is, it's all about how much pressure one killer can make against different variation of survivors.
Does your killer creates pressure against any type of survivor? The killer is then considered good.
Does your killer creates pressure against good survivors but with requirements of good addons and mindgames? The killer is then considered niche but decent.
Does your killer creates pressure ONLY against not experienced survivors? Then the killer is considered NOT good enough.
As it is now, the game completely depends on how good survivors are to enstablish if a killer is good or not.
-
That's why Whispers is nice to have once in a while.
-
Miss Smithson outfit for nurse. Used to be the victorian one but they really outdone themselves.
I also love every single ugly sweater they introduced. They're simply adorable!
-
Unique killer/survivor perks at max level should be pink.
Every other general perk should be purple at max level.
Not only we would get our colors back but we would also get rid of that ugly yellow.
