@Gorgonia said:
In fact, poisonous smoke that emanates from the censer should cover the TR range, to make it more “real”. We would be playing at 5 fps but why not?
Actually... her censer contains some sorts herbs, spices and fruits used as a perfume to cover her smell of sickness.
-
I'm getting familiar with her but I still think her weaknesses are glaring. I'm not asking to change all of the things I've listed but I still feel like we're playing the killer the way she wasn't supposed to be.
Instead of a dangerous infective killer... she feels like a vomit machine gun instead.
-
@Hythinger Literally had the same thing right now. Give it a month and all killers will be back to rank 20 bullying new survivors.
-
I just opened a similar thread where I address the first 2 points you have listed. The third however is really interesting, maybe that can help too.
-
That could be a solution, yes. Puking on objects is but a waste of time, both outside and in a chase. The hitbox is quite generous so it's just better to puke directly on them than the pallet or the vault near.
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller Everyone were hooked at least once. 3 of them died by triple hook (so no Mori involved). If this system gets in live everyone will be back at rank 20 in less than a month!
-
Please don't. Please don't make anything related to Trypophobia. If the next killer is related to lampreys i'm gonna scream.
-
I just had a match with 3 kills, one escaped trought the hatch and I got the entity displeased. Match lasted a fair amount, chases were won and I got the BP.
Just what the hell is this system? I get the idea but this isn't working at all.
-
Yeah, I've noticed that too. Either you get a 4K for the "No one escaped" or the meter is half full at best. I'd suggest a 250 BP bonus everytime a survivor is fully infected and a 300 BP gain when you down a survivor with corrupt purge, that should be enough.
-
@Crackgear Wow, is that true? I'm gonna take your word for it because I was thinking something similar.
-
Look, I know it's a test build. But if you're willingly exploiting a unwanted bug just for your own amusement than I've got a problem with that.
Like, I'm really having trouble finding enjoyment in letting multiple people on the ground because I can't pick them up and need to go fetch another survivor to heal them back to injured.
"but maybe they're stuck!!!1" No, they're not and they know that.
-
God. I feel you... I suffer from emetophobia and while I love the new killer... her power holds me back from playing her. Not because of the color or the vomit itself but... probably the SFX of it. I just hate the sound of gagging!
But it's fine, I always tend to run away from people IRL when I hear them gagging. So I will probably do that very well in game... and that also counts survivors.
-
Borrowed totem made me choke, Jesus that was hilarious.
-
Not an alpha or beta player but... White Claudette.
-
Not only that, even healing animation should be changed. Like now it looks like a simple back rub
-
Jake. His struggle sounds while being carried cracks me everytime.
EEEEEUGH...MMMHGH...
-
I don't, but I stopped using 3 blinks from a while now. The only exception to the rule is if I just have too many or I want to use Jenner's last breath.
I'm serious, I'd rather have the additional blinks change in different power-ups because they become obsolete at a certain point.
-
I'll also add that some killers have way too powerful add-ons being already good. Insta-chainsaw/Steering wheel Billy or 3+ blinks on Nurse.
Things need to change, and quickly before everyone gets tired of the situation.
-
That perk is a joke and it needs a rework.
-
You guys stop with the "survivor ez mode bla bla bla". Present some argumentation instead of acting like little children such as the survivors you hate so much.
Back on the topic: NOED has the same problem with DS. THEY REWARD MISTAKES. These are both extremely powerful perks which are faulted for the simple reason they are not gained at all. Anything that reward players for being bad IS bad design. End of the story. -
Once, I was bamboozled hard because I wasn't expecting that to work since I could never pull it off myself. It's still not worth the risk since the stun is nothing in comparison to the Wraith's lightburn.
Now that i think off... it's unfair that the spirit is not affected by flashlights since she enters the spirit world too. (Lightburn only affect killers linked to the spirit world) -
Some moris animation are currently fine. Few are excellent and two of them are just very underwhelming (Wraith and Trapper).
I would love a change for Wraith where he cuts a survivor's back open and break their spine in half as a reference to the way he killed Azarov.
The nurse is fine, her mori is fine. It's a reference to how she killed all the patients at the asylum. -
Sabotaging is a risky strategy and requires both time and good reading ability.
Toxic? Only for people who are not familiar with it. If you see a survivor crouched near the hook you're going, just turn around. it's not that hard. -
I always let survivors farm if something unfair happened during the trial (hook farms, dc, griefing, afk, tree bug etc.). I also let them farm if they just want to screw around and have fun.
There's no purpose in tryharding in these situations other than prove you're really frustrated. -
I agree. I never run Campbell and when I use an extra blink add-on (cinture, bookmark and fragile wheeze) it's either because I want it to combo with Jenner's last breath or just because I have too many to leave there to rot.
-
Nah. He only has problems when the contrast is way too high or changes drastically in little time.
-
Interesting concept... however that would be very hurtful to whoever has already sight problems. I've got a friend which he can't see contrast very well and gets a headache out of it so... this would cause him severe migraines.
Also, the perk can easily countered with the Nvidia application should one chose to use it. The field of view is... ok? But the contrast needs to go, it's weakness can be exploited and it wouldn't benefit a part of the players.
-
Are you guys serious? Been playing Pig/Nurse/Hag and I've got 2 to 5 lanterns per match. I farmed 7 coins during the event and I didn't even play daily. (skipped around 6 days)
Are you sure it's a dev problem and not you failing your job as a killer?
The only lacking thing about the event was the BP which were fewer than ever but that can be easily forgiven.
-
The mori animations are all good/decent/okayish except for the Wraith and Trapper.
They are so... *BORING*
-
Let us immagine if this idea actually goes trough.
You got your 3K, 2 gens are done and the last survivor is somewhere... in a corner? A locker? The basement? The important thing is to find it, right? Well sit your ass up cuz you're going for a ride that can even last 1 hour and on!
Seriously, the hatch exists so that we avoid situations where the game gets stalled like hell because you people are NEVER satisfied with anything.
-
lackofargumentation.mp4
-
A terrible concept both in balance and "in-game" factor.
Not only it's tremendously strong in ANY survivor's hand but it's only counter is getting killed which would cause severe tunneling from any killer.
-
Agree. If you're hooked and there's someone else still live you often NEVER want to try freeing yourself unless you are trying to give the hatch to a teammate.
-
I'm gonna say it: He's cheap, like... HELLA cheap. I honestly think that hardly anybody would fail using him.
He has a one-hit KO, extremely good mobility and map pressure, naturally possesses one of the best perks to counter pallets and DS (Enduring), can destroy pallets real fast and his chainsaw hitbox is very generous.
Overrated? Maybe... but he's undeniably a pain in the ass if you don't know how to properly loop.
-
It's 4% plus any luck offering/perk in the game.
Slippery meat also helps here giving more attempts to unhook. I won't count deliverance since that's a guaranteed unhook attempt.
-
Rank 1 at both. I enjoy playing both on the same level but I usually play survivor ONLY if there's someone else I can play with.
"bUt ThATs SwF aNd ItS BrOkeN" No. It's called "common sense". It's reassuring to at least have ONE guy that will come in your aid instead of uncaring (cough farming) teammates.
-
If they ever buff lithe to have an increased vaulting speed... they could take out the speed boost anytime IMO. Having fast vaults at any moment seeing with how unresponsive and inconsistent vaults are now would be a blessing and especially a lifesaver.
Not that I wouldn't mind having both

-
Oh jesus just stop with this drama already.
Having friends to play with is not a sin, therefore SWF does not need any kind of change since not all SWF are "toxic" as many claim... or good at the game for the matter. -
I've opened a similar thread about killer's general perks ideas and changes. I can't copy paste it since I'm on my potato cellphone
-
For nurse it's arguably bad man's last breath. It's sooo bad and doesn't synergies with anything else she has.
For general killer perks it has to be the splinters. The idea to try new killer's is actually great but without perks it's just bad. -
Thanks a lot! I forgot to mention that I'll be logged with my account of course.
-
If that ever happened. I would buy leather-face to eliminate every single crop of rotten fields.
######### rotten fields. -
... But what if they add an ultra-rare add-on that grants her 3 more blinks and you combine with the one that gives her 2 more?
7 fingers Nurse would be disturbing... even for a game such as DBD. -
She's the most gorgeous thing ❤
I kinda wish her hair were grey as in the pic you posted, suits her more than the red variation but I'm still super excited and I will insta-buy it the first moment it's avaliable -
I only got 1 envelope for blood-web. I'd rather wait and stack them up since we gain too little blood points this event.
-
I should have over 30 coins too since I had very succesful wins both as surv and killer. Just stop using the offering until they fix it and farm bloodpoints in the meantime to stack the envelopes.
-
Not gonna lie. I find nurses funny to play against because I know her every weakness. ^^"
Honestly... Nurse is not that hard to play against when you have do many crutch perks against her. I don't have BBQ or NOED either (who the hell uses NOED on nurse after level 15? Lmao)
-
It's not rewarding enough to be considered. I've opened a thread about this perk if you want to check it out.
The perk itself is actually great on the way it works... but the problem is that it's "okay-ish" in basically 20% of the maps, rendering it too much niche. -
I mean... with builds like those they could've easily won this game if they played their cards right. The map was also Graham school (which isn't very good for Nurse) so I can hardly think they DC all together because they just didn't want to play against a nurse if I gotta be completely honest.
-
Yes, this was a SWF. Not that I care tho, I just want to play
