  • Oh shoot you're right, fixing it right up.

  • I absolutely agree. As long as in you are remaining in the killer's terror radius it shouldn't count as being idle/afk. It happened me once but it could've costed me the game if it wasn't a Trapper (kappa).
  • ... Oh. Guess something is really going on after this patch.

  • No, they joined at different times.

  • You stop that.

... don't "milk" the joke too much.

    *awkward fingerguns*
  • I've made a similar thread if you check my profile.

As stated, SOTS is still too niche too be even useful. It's works on like... 20% of the maps or less? Whispers overshadows (pun intended) it by a lot.

  • This sounds... very difficult to make it work in the game. The performances of both survs and killers will require almost near perfect results to farm an okay-ish amount of currency.

  • All I know is... I play this allot... I'm probably gonna see you again at some point.... If I remember who you are, cause you annoyed me that much... I won't hold any sympathy for you in the match if you get hooked.

I'm just going to avoid answering this meaningless debate anymore. You've already lost the discussion the moment you threatened me to let me die because you can't keep up with a simple discussion.

If someone intentionally farms during the game multiple times it is reportable.

Is there any proof behind this?

  • So you're proud you farmed some survivors because it's a "different" playstyle? Are you even listening to yourself? If you really want to have fun BY YOURSELF just play a solo-mode videogame instead. And yes, I WILL get mad knowing there are types like you who entertain themselves on the behalf of other players that didn't do any wrong towards you.

Just... stop. If you don't agree with my statements, that's fine. But at least try to explain your point of view in a smart way instead of just repeating the concept of "hurr durr i can do it so i will do it who cares its just game"

I can hardly imagine how "fun" it must be to start a game and be farmed by someone else.

  • On Nurse it's totally something else. On other killers you barely notice any difference since their powers are not affected by it. Nurse's blinks on SB change drastically as well as the fatigue status.

I love these posts. You should re-title the post to... "They didn't play the way I wanted them too, so I got mads!"

Make sure to add the "s" on the end of "mad"... makes it seem more child like.

Like others said... Sometimes the killer sees the farmer and teaches them a lesson for it.. Just do that if you want.. Or just be happy they are making the match easier for you.

I don't know.. I create a lobby as killer... Sometimes I look at the group of survivors and say... "Oh man I think these guys are gonna run me around all match." Then they turn into a bunch of potatoes half way through the match. I win the match happy the survivors made my job easy. I don't go running away from my computer mad cause they didn't play the way I was expecting them too.

Just saying... If you are gonna get that mad... Maybe you should look a bit internally to see why you got so mad from someone not playing the way you wanted / expected them too.

Edit: I thought you were gonna make a post about you seeing more killers farming in their matches... but then I seen that.

Is that all you have to say? Calling me out as a man-child because I can't enjoy a game because of a busted system? If this was a troll attempt it was disappointing at best.

I want to see YOU get farmed by your teammates because apparently... some game's currency goes first then the fun of everyone else according to your logic! And just saying, I'm not pretending people to play the way I want to. You can say whatever you want but this is a TEAM game and I expect people to play it as such.

I'm just going to assume you got everything wrong on the post and just spat random words only to spread salt.

Am I the only one that see's it ......

Ngl, I actually laughed quite a bit! On my defense: it was late when I wrote this and English isn't my native language ^^"

I got farmed yesterday by another survivor but the killer seen this chased, caught and facecamped him to teach him a lesson. I found the hatch and spammed tbagging until survivor died.

Majority of killers would probably have hit me for the easy kill but there are some out there that notice survivors getting farmed and will punish the farmer.

Me and killer messaged after game and are now BFFs.

Good to see that there are killers aware of this wretched scums.

Borrowed Time seriously needs to be reworked into something else, and it's existing effect applied into We're Gonna Live Forever.

    That would solve this problem.

It's bad that WGLF doesn't do anything at all and is even a hindrance to your team, when it's equivalent perk, BBQ and Chili, is one of the strongest perks in the game

That would hardly solve the problem. Borrowed time exists to avoid camping, if you were to move it on WGLF... farmers would even use it more an excuse to abuse it.

There are 2 separate rewarding systems; the emblems and blood points. Since Emblems are worthless, who can blame Laurie from actually playing towards her reward system?

First of all, I think you're confusing the victim with the culprit. Laurie was a victim of the Meg who unhooked her continuously uncaring of my presence.

Second, how is this system not reworked yet? DBD doesn't really yield the best of reputations... exploit after exploit isn't going to make it any better.

  • Funny, I just wrote a thread about what I did to a scummy Meg with WGLF.

Anyhow, I usually kill the griefers (using the Nurse easily allow me to this efficiently) and let everyone else escape. Then I agree with the victims to report the Griefer all together.

IF you believe and can prove that the survivor and killer were intentionally working together. (Like if they're friends on steam and are clearly teaming) then you can report that. But not just being an [BAD WORD].

I don't think so... Freddy started chasing him as soon as I quit.

  • This is absolutely preposterous.

I wish killers would stop tunneling the people being obviously farmed because this is exactly they want from them. Playing Nurse in this type games is a real blessing since I'm free to change target at will. If I was to play anything else other than her... I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to punish the Meg.

  • Hey, Nurse main here (Was that obvious?)

You generally want to ALWAYS run ruin at rank 1, you can't live without it. The nurse is a rush down killer, so you must apply as much as pressure as possible using perks which can really turn the game into torture.

    Good tracking perks are:

    • Whispers: This is just great, works like a charm to know exactly what generator is being worked on, knowing exactly where to blink will not give survivors time to react. Does also counters 1 vs 1 shenanigan.
    • BBQ: Undoubtedly the best aura-reading perk in the game. If you have it, run it.
    • Shadowborn: Why does this excel so much on Nurse? Once you get used to it, you'll never want to go back. The augmentation of the FOV is just great, and it also helps to track survivor even in the fatigue status.
    • Monitor & Abuse: FOV augmentation AND reduced terror radius? They won't even see you coming. Your blinks while not in a chase are longer than your terror radius. An absolute monster as a perk on Nurse.

    Good pressure perks are:

    • A Nurse's calling: Undoubtedly one of the scariest perks survivors face. Good pressure, survivors will never stay close to a general place to heal meaning they will waste time getting as much distance as possible and THEN heal.
    • Sloppy Butcher: Works wonders with Nurse's calling, got a bit weaker since "No healing only gen" has entered as a viable strategy for survs. Good to slow down games.
    • Pop goes the weasel: Being the nurse one of the best killers to end chases quickly followed by hooks, PGTW can seriously hinder any gen-rush strategy.
    • Devour hope: High risk/high reward hex perk. As stated for PGTW, this works wonders if you get confident in your chasing ability.
    • Make your choice: The little daughter of DH. Again, exposed status applies tons of pressure. If you can always track the exposed survivor this makes it super duper great.
    • Franklin's Demise: Probably my favorite, it's just SO GOOD to slap items out of survivors. They will lose a lot of time to go back to search for their precious items. Highly recommended on matches with 3+ survs with items, excellent at countering instant-heals.

    Mediocre perks are:

    • Stridor: Unless you have good headphones, don't even bother. Hearing breaths better can sure come in handy but it won't always be reliable.
    • Deerstalker: Slugging can be viable on Nurse, but it's risky and usually doesn't work at high levels. Can be combined with Knock out for the "I can't see *@#?" build.
    • Rancor: Unless you have a real hate for DS users... I wouldn't really recommend this.
    • NOED: You are using one of the best killers for map pressure and chase, why would you want them to complete gens? Forget this unless you don't have anything to slow down the game... but you shouldn't run NOED in general since it's not going to make you better at all.
    • Overcharge: Unless the survivors are potatoes at getting skill checks, this won't work well.

    Bad perks are:

    • SFTS: Even when reworked, this doesn't work on a good percentage of the map. Bad/niche tracking perk.
    • Thanatophobia: Despise what it's written, the penalty is miserable and generally adds 2 to 5 seconds more to actions... and you need everyone to be at least injured.

I've been rank 1 Nurse from lots of months now. From my experience, this is generally what you want to run:

    • Ruin
    • Any of the tracking perks
    • Any of the good perks (depending on the situation)
    • Anything you want, really.
  • That would be even worse than the perk we already have tbh. The time I would waste to farm up tokens I would have hit the survivor twice.

Again, I do not agree with rewarding a killer for not doing the right thing. The token idea could have worked if they increased gradually while chasing tho.

  • I think this was just an unlucky situation. My friend who mains Pig has noticed notable changes to the distance set between Jig's boxes.

I've also noticed that you're using "Jigsaw's sketch" which increases the number of boxes by one... perhaps the game glitched out and couldn't find a position to place it other than that.

  • Thanks for the feedback, after seeing how much people didn't want a change on Deerstalker I've decided to modify the perk once again:

    • Deerstalker now has an aura reading for dying survivors once again, although toned down a bit to make space for the addition of the increased sound on footsteps, making it much more close to what a "Deerstalker" is.

    As to answer your doubts:

The change on Unrelenting, while it can be considered powerful it still does take place of a perk. One should choose wisely if he prefers having more power on lounges instead of aura-revealing ability, hexes and what not. Note that the lounge speed increase was inserted to avoid making the longer lounge less-clunky, making it practically identical to the normal lounge with the only difference being more distance traveled.

I'll wait for additional feedback to considering nerfing Monstruous Shrine. I honestly think that this change would REALLY turn the basement into something nobody wants to put a foot in. Right now, there's nothing "monstrous" about the perk we have in live servers.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I've modified some part of the perks to make them less forgiving:

    • Unrelenting at level 2 and 3 now has more cooldown on missed attacks;
    • Insidious now has a cooldown of 60 seconds max, and cannot trigger on the same survivor twice in a row (this is too avoid tunneling and rewards the killer with more stealth if he searches someone else)

Please keep going on with feedback, so that a dev can hopefully express his/her idea about this.

  • I always let farm the remaining survivor in case of a DC/RQ/3 vs 1. I only remember killing at least 3 of them once and then let a Claudette escape, simply because they had a real liking for the CTRL button after I missed a blink.

  • I understand. But it doesn't fit a perk with the name "Deerstalker". It would be wiser to just add another perk with the "Deerstalker" effect we have now on live server under a different name.

Thanks for the feedback, I've added a disclaimer to truly explain my view and to avoid confusion. Is it better now?

  • Thread has been recovered. Added "Deerstalker" to the list as a new tracking perk.

    Please keep up the feedback!

  • I've edited the Monstruos shrine and Insidious one. See if they're better now.

  • I would love to hear your ideas, any constructive criticism is most welcome.

To answer you about some statements: Unrelenting does also mean being very determined or that won't stop at anything. That's where the idea comes from: "A killer who will do anything in its power to hurt the survivor". Since the will to hurt a survivor is so high, the killers try to put all the strength in their strike so that's the logic between the lounge increase and the increase cooldown attack. I doubt high-level killers still miss their attacks.

About Monstruos shrine: Perhaps the inability to escape can be too much, but I thought that being the heart of the Entity it would have made sense to make it really hard to escape. Perhaps I can reduce the chance to 50% max?

Insidious: The speed bonus does only work around the hook where the survivor has been freed, not the survivor which has been unhooked. Otherwise, this would incur in severe tunneling which I don't think it's healthy for the game.

I'll proceed to modify the perks under your suggestions.

  • I see your point.

Initially, I was thinking about Monstruous shrine adding a second, minor basement to the map. But that was just impossible since some map (The Game, Rotten fields etc.) do not have enough buildings to place another one. With my idea, the perk would at least induce some pressure when someone is into the basement.

  • Some claim that the community is super toxic, which can be true. But I've found even more cool people to play with.

Half of my friend list is basically DBD players that I let farm in 3 vs 1 games or just survivor I helped out in the moment of need.

  • There's nothing you can do since Killers are the one who dictates the rules of a game. If it decides to camp/tunnel/play dirty you don't have a right to decide on what is right and what is wrong.

The only suggestion I can give you is to learn how to properly loop and try to waste as much as time as possible. If I happen to get camped/tunneled this means I did my job as a survivor and the others will escape freely.

    ... Unless there's NOED.

  • May I ask on what map? I'm definitely not seeing them at all (on the maps i've played)

  • I wouldn't complain about a reduced amount of crows after the rework of this perk... but 0? We're back at square one with SFTS all over again.

Before: The perk was useless because of the notification and the 75%
Now: The perk IS useless because there are no crows.

No justice for the black birds i guess.
