Not a suggestion, it's just a thought.


How would the game be if swinging your main weapon isn't restricted to hitting 1 Survivor?

Y'know, imagine the best case scenario: All 4 are standing in front you.

Instead of hitting whoever the hitbox detects first, it'll swing through and hit all 4.


How would that change the game?

    Would probably encourage hookcamping, since then you could slap 2 flies with one hit. The rescuer, and the one being rescued.

    that would pretty much take the one strength bubba has away...

    i wouldnt mind though. happens rare enough that you find multiple survivors at once and get them in your attack range.

    could also lead to some BS hits...

    Maybe as special gimmick or passive on a new killer. Needs a weapon to fit that reach tho. A two handed weapon would probably be a requirement for "hitting multiple survivors"

    I contemplated this idea (with the difference of restricting it to non-lunge attack) once when a full swf were swarming me to help a downed teammate. Honestly it would be fun to hit more survivors at once and would make ganging against the killer more dangerous. Solo players wouldn't probably feel the difference.

    So from the way Killers actually swing their weapon it looks vertical or slightly diagonal so they might need a new animation to show how they're hitting two people so they can judge that they are in range or not. But this would be awesome, having a whole bunch of people body blocking you wouldn't be an issue for any Killer. Leatherface would still be special because he runs forward swinging and doesn't stop swinging even if he hits someone so he would still have that over everyone.

    I always wanted this, I really hate it when SWF bodyblock like crazy and you have to literally work yourself through a kongo line before you can actually hit your target

    No, this would be absolutely broken even in rare occasions.
