If I didn't care about my video game rules then I wouldn't be here because I would already be banned. Ofc I'm not perfect but I do learn from my mistakes and try to improve, thanks for asking.MhhBurgers said:@Nickenzie said:

The amount of SJWs is already way to high.
And a lifetime ban for something that was an obvious joke? Yeah totally not a PR stunt.
The amount of people who oppose basic respect because they think it's "SJW" is too damn high. Congrats on falling for common manipulation tactics.
It's a friggin role-playing video game and tbh I would count that as in character, but "homophobic slurs" seems to be a much harder subject than childrape in fallout 3 and shooting people on sight.
Stuff like this is why I regret coming to the west.
It's the rules everyone agreed to upon purchasing the game. If you didn't agree with them, you shouldn't have purchased the game. It's that simple.
^Bràvo! Couldn't have said it any better!

How many contract rules are you breaking in your life but you seem to care alot about video game rules LUL.

i dont get mad, i just find strange the fact that some people get so triggered because of some joke, being so sensitive is not good for anyone.
I'd argue that blatant disregard for the rules is worse for the game than people taking offense to hate speech.
And yes, it is hate speech. It's the same terminology used by people who will happily announce their wish to murder all homosexuals, among other minority groups. Maybe you just don't get it because you're not part of a group that is still illegal in parts of the world.
Dude, i am Mexican, i get """hate speech""" from americans all the time and i know when they are joking and when they are trying to "harm my feelings", it´s no big deal honestly, people like to make this kind of "dark humored" jokes all the time and until know they are getting attention for a completely stupid reason.
And in post-game chat, people are always just trying to be dicks.
Exactly, people are not trying to "harm" anybody, they are just salty because they lost.
Saying that people aren't trying to harm others when they said something that can harm others is very contradicting.
Saying something harmful like what? calling someone gay or stupid?

They could make it more specific: add some known homophobic phrases that the system would automatically detect. If someone went off on someone else because of their sexuality and they happen to say one of the known phrases. The system would automatically ban them for a set amount of time without an ACM having to do it.Orion said:@Nickenzie said:
However back on topic, they should add a detection system like the overwatch developers did.For example let's say someone said, "gay" in a comment. It will be automatically flagged and sent to a ACM for review in case it was a homophobic slur.

Killers need to have fun, or at the least feel like they're accomplishing something in the face of the crap survivors put them through (Especially SWF having fun at the killer's expense), and it's only going to get worse with the new survivor and aura blocker lockers. So, yeah, why not make a perk better towards this goal?
There just seems to be so much rant after one measley nerf to BBQ and everyone is losing their minds. Meanwhile, survivors are still farming teammates with WGLF and just adding BT to not lose the points. It seems minuscule to you because you aren't seeing what it will cause. I always leave hook for a bbq target unless i see a survivor or scratchmarks by the hook. After this change when I see no one with bbq I'm going to assume they are around the hook and not leave. This change literally discourages me from playing a way that makes the game more fun for all. This change is going to make camping skyrocket. Also in regards to your other comment. it's 4 perks vs 16 perks, that's why WGLF isn't completely equal to BBQ. You as a sole survivor are not supposed to be equal to the killer in a 1v4.
If you’re using the “it’s 4 VS 16 perks argument” I’m jus tgoing to stop trying to reason with you. You should know why, if not then I’m sorry you need to take some survivor education classes. Dude you probably don't even have 1/10 of my hours in this game much less rank 1 on both sides, clearly with your uninformed opinions. I already reasoned with you to explain and you couldn't follow it so instead you decided to insult. I’ve been playing since the Beta, over 4000 hours currently. Don’t try that with me. If I NEED to show you my rank 1 at both sides right now I will.
You’re just proving you’re either too killer sided or don’t understand logic when you say “4 perks vs 16” I play both sides at rank 1 regularly, there is no "killer sided" and I highly doubt those hours. Link it. Here’s the type of killer logic you’re using “Mr. Rank 1”
“If Claudette dies she’s gonna let the Feng use her BT. Then if Feng dies she’ll let Claudette use her Lithe.”
Thats your “4 perks VS 16” logic right there.
Firstly, no link, because you're clearly lying.
Second, no, that's not the logic i'm using. Then again, how would you even know, you jumped to insults before even having a conversation.
4v16 meaning you bring certain perks to counter survivor perks but you can't counter all 16 with just your 4.
So you’re saying by your “logic” that there’s no possible way a killer can use 4 perks to counter 16, not even redundant perks?? Listen, you’re clearly one sided no matter what you think. You sound like you only live for Killer, clearly you still think all 16 perks being used in one game are completely different from each other EVEN if the survivors are running the exact same perks.
4v16 is to express a point, not to literally mean every single perk will be different and 4 perks are not enough to counter 16 unless literally every single survivor has the exact same 4 perks. I don't live for killer, just unlike you, I actually play both sides at a high rank and know what's balanced and what isn't. It's quite clear at this point that you are a new player to this game and trying to explain these things to you is getting no where. You're being belligerent and arrogant while also not having enough experience in the game to understand. It's clear you're going no where so I'm done here.

Im not against reversing BBQ, my point is, they should buff WGLF at the same time or first.
WGLF should award tokens to doing generators, stunning the killer, cleansing totems, and opening the exit gates.
-
Usually when I see four survivors join my lobby at rank 1 without any prestige (hiding their stuff). I'll assume they are gonna switch at the last second so I'll play try hard Nurse with... ofc a mori and omgablinks.The_Crusader said:Than survivors who switch at the last second?
5 seconds to go and they pull out the legacy skin, purple flashlight, and of course when you get in the game they have Decisive Strike.
Am I meant to be intimidated or something? Or impressed? I just cringe.
Even sadder when its a high rank trying to get in to games with smurf accounts. This game is just full of toxic bullies who set out to ruin the game for everyone else.
Feels good when you put them down. -

Talk to @powerbats about that suggestion, he'll probably agree with you if you have some good reasoning to back it up with.
As for my version, it would stay the same but you won't see auras. You'll instead see the survivor's locations (exactly like Rancor) so they can't hide behind generators, in lockers (PTB version), and etc. However, you won't know where the survivor is going since locations is not precise as aura reading. -
Not infinite but ya know, further than 54/48/40 meters to balance the perk. You should look at @powerbats suggestion since he has a unique approach.KingB said:@Nickenzie Like with rancor? That works as long as the range is infinite. -
I agree, there should be an option called "destroy". The killer points at the item or chest and the Entity traps it with its tentacles for X amount of seconds. After those X amount of seconds, the item or chest is destroyed by the Entity but... survivors can cleanse the chest or item while it's trap to free it from destruction.Peasant said:@Nickenzie said:

If the chest has been opened you earn 125/250/500 Bloodpoints instead. When you break an item you will receive Bloodpoints in Brutality equivalent to the number of charges left times (1/2/3).
(Under consideration: You also gain a 50%/75%/100 Bloodpoint bonus to Brutality during the trial.)

@Jack11803 @S0ckenSchussI feel like this shouldn't be a perk but be built in as a channeled action such as breaking a totem. Nice suggestion my friend!

Well, I just always found it odd that killers can brutally murder and sacrifice living breathing survivors, but they can't seem to break a flashlight.

I can be the first and say, I definitely agree with this change. Not only it solves the "I don't know if someone is nearby" issue but it also awards more BP to the killer. Great job @powerbats!powerbats said:We all have a love hate relationship with how BBQ works and doesn't work, both with the bp gain but also hook rushing and aura reading. So my idea takes BBQ and turns it in a different direction and also gives out some bonus bp to killers.
If anything BBQ should change to be reverse of what it is now get rid of the outside distance and turn it inwards.
For instance at all 3 ranks the it shows you all survivors inside say 16 meters from the hook which is the minimum distance between hooks. So anything under 16 meters away to the hook their aura is shown to you for 3 seconds.
Anything beyond that no auras are shown so you know for a fact that no one is close and you have no need to patrol. If anyone gets inside that 16 meter range before the timer is up they get tagged for x seconds by the aura reading. Where x seconds is the amount of the 4 seconds remaining from time of the hook.
The only thing that would separate the 3 ranks is the bonus BP % you get for each 1st hook so instead of it being a stackable 15,20,25% at the 3 ranks.
Rank I currently gives you 15,30,45,60 %
Rank II currently gives you 20,40,60,80%
Rank III currently gives you 25,50,75,100%In addition to the inward aura reading being 16 meters at all ranks the bonus BP % would be as follows at all 3 ranks.
New Bonus %
Rank I 20, 40, 60, 80 % Bonus BP
Rank II 25, 50, 75, 100% Bonus BP
Rank III 50, 100, 150, 200% Bonus BPThis has the added bonus of giving killers the bonus bp for facing SWF and solo's at the same time but also encourages you to leave the hook. Since you'll be able to see anyone within 1 hooks distance of you once you hook you'll be certain if someones near or not.
This will also prevent survivors scrambling to get under the BBQ range and thus crowding the hook area and making the killer soft camp when that's not their intention. Now to counter the issue with removing the distant aura reading issue you could do the following.
You could change it to keep the distant aura reading but lower the max range and lower the duration of the aura being shown to 2 seconds. So you hook and it takes you 1 seconds or so to turn around so you get 1 second may'be the full 2 or so to see in the distance.
The survivors then have time to move around/decoy without worrying about a high mobility killer appearing in their lap 2 seconds after a hook.
One change is to make it instead of aura make it location basd in general.
-
Yes, constructive criticism is more valuable than saying only demands.powerbats said:@Crythor said:

Hmm, I feel like a minor buff won't be too much to ask for as this perk does encourage going after multiple survivors instead of camping. Maybe when you hook a survivor, you see their locations instead of seeing their auras? -
For PWYF, I really want to encourage the killer to go after the obsession but not be too harsh on the obsession since a sacrifice will permanently disable the perk. Additionally, it also encourages hooking multiple survivors while getting a reward for not tunneling a survivor to death. Through slugging may be frustrating but I'll rather be slugged instead of not having a chance.ChesterTheMolester said:

For Left Behind, I wanted to make the perk into a permanent old BNP when you are the last survivor remaining to actually give the survivor a chance to get a generator completed. Additionally, the great skill checks applies to every action that has skill checks in it so this perk is really flexible.

I mean, it's not that big of a deal because survivors don't like to be injured and will usually heal when given the opportunity. Additionally, let's say your team doesn't heal for some reason, you can find the hex totem or hope your RNG is good enough and don't get ruin skill checks. I think there is enough counter play with this perk in my opinion and that's what I will usually go for: counterplay.se05239 said:@Nickenzie said:
Brutal Strength: Your strength comes in handy when it comes to sabotaging your Prey's defenses. You break pallets and damage generators 10/15/20% faster. Your strength causes extra damage to generators; damaged generators will regress 30/40/50% faster than normal. That'd be a nice addition to the perk itself.
Sole Survivor: A supernatural bond with the Entity gives you hope during problematic situations. For every survivor eliminated from the trial, receive a token up to a maximum of 1/2/3 tokens.
A bit too strong, especially if the ones that aren't the obsession gets to open doors as well..
Play With Your Food: Toying with your obsession gives you delight. Every time you attack your obsession, receive a token up to a maximum of 5 tokens. Every token will grant a 2% haste status effect but hooking your obsession will consume 4/3/2 tokens. Only one obsession per trial.
10% at five tokens is a massive speed increase. 5% at 5 tokens would be a better number, due to how easy (I mean, DS people aren't exactly trying to avoid you) it is to get hits on your obsession.
Left Behind: You won't give in to the killer, regardless of the situation! When you are the last survivor remaining in the trial, gain a 5/10/15% haste status effect and 100% repair speed increase when you're outside the killer's terror radius. If you are inside the killer's terror radius, your scratch marks will be hidden and you won't leave pools of blood behind.
The perfect p3 Claudette perk. I think your suggestion is way too strong.
Thanatophobia: Survivors lose hope when seeing their undeniable mortality. Every time you hook a survivor, receive a token up to a maximum of 4/7/10 tokens. Every token will reduce the action speed for all survivors by 3% and if at anytime there's more than 2 survivors injured, great skill check success zones will be removed.
Removing great skill checks would be a big nope, if you ask me. Especially if you combine it with Ruin. I'd rather make it so that Great Skillchecks don't reward bonus progression speed instead.

Sole Survivor:
2 changes:
Killers would get a global audio cue.
Exit gates can only be opened by obsession to allow counterplay.
Monstrous Shrine:
Outclassed by Sloppy Butcher and countered by SWF and hook bubble.
The blindness is fine but i think a nice change would be to give the hooked survivor the deep wounds effect, that would be dangerous and useful regardless if the Killer decides to leave or camp.
Play with your Food:
To abusable with little counterplay for survivors, especially if the obsession is one of THOSE who REALLY need decisive strike if you know what i mean.
I'd like a speedboost everytime the obsession is injured like a Wraith windstorm (pre rework), and a permanent boost as long as the Obsession is downed or hooked.
Left Behind:
Sorry but that one is quite abusable as it essentially allows to keep a game hostage. Im not sure how to buff this perk either so we might as well put it back on the drawing board like Tinkerer.
Sole Survivor: Yes, I would be completely okay with this change (except the global notification). Why I don't like the global notification is because if the killer notices the obsession being the last one. The killer will likely be paranoid about the survivor opening the exit gates and will probably check them, especially good killers if there's no hatch available. Additionally, this perk can sometimes cause more harm than good since if you're caught opening the gate, you're screwed.
Monstrous Hooks: I like the idea, I'll change my OP and give you credit! My purpose in my change was to prevent healing a survivor right after you unhook them or wait 1 hook stage to bypass the effect.
Play With Your Food: Not bad, I'll change it and give you credit lol. I was thinking about STBFL and how it was so successful as a perk (since my version is similar to it).
Left Behind: I don't know if I should increase the survivor survivability or make generators a cake walk with this perk. Any ideas? -
Give me a link, I'd love to give you feedback!powerbats said:I agree with @ChesterTheMolester mostly but i'd say a permanent speed boost from the obsession being down/hooked will just increase tunneling. You'd also introduce the I might as well dc if I'm going to get super hardcore tunneled/camped thought in.
If the person who's the obsession gets nailed early they're much more likely to dc'/suicide thus robbing you of that speed boost.
Sole Survivor should be a Hope haste effect overall but do you limit it however to the obsession only or if they die and someone else runs it then they get it?
I've actually got an idea for a BBQ rework I need to post for feedback.

IntroductionI been doing some research for a while now and I'll have to say, he's very weak. This is due to the fact that he can't secure his hooks easily which is what the game evolves around. For you to hook someone as The Legion, you'll need to hit a survivor with your power four times down or you can M1 a survivor with a 110% movement speed twice (or once if they are in the deep wound status effect). Both processes takes a long time to secure a hook because you are simply doing something that is inefficient. Yes, the killer is a "Pig" where (s)he can cause survivors to waste time by mending but that's not good enough to justify his weak ability to hook survivors. How Can We Make The Legion Better?
1.) When performing a normal M1 attack on a survivor without using your power, you won't drain your power gauge.Reasoning:
(Spoiler)2.) When using Frenzy on a injured survivor, they will be put into dying state instead of gaining the deep wound status effect.
Reasoning:
(Spoiler)3.) Get rid of the double stun when attacking a survivor with the deep wound status effect. Pick one developers, the fatigue or the attack cool down.
Reasoning:
(Spoiler)4.) The mending action should be considered as a healing action and mending should take the same amount of time as a regular healing action.
Reasoning:
(Spoiler)5.) Show survivor's auras that don't have the deep wound status effect after instead of having a symbol in the direction of where the survivor is at.
Reasoning:
(Spoiler)That's it, yes we may not need all of these changes but we do need most of them to make him better as a killer. Please tell me what you think below with reasoning and justification.
Don't say, "You're playing him/her wrong." Guys I watched a SWF and they weren't sweaty, they was just playing together to have fun. The killer got a few 1k and 2k by spreading the damage, the killer was obviously good but he wasn't able to get hooks easily.
Here's a video on why the killer isn't good, he doesn't have a way to get hooks. You either focus one survivor down, hope to win a 110% chase with a normal M1 attack, or pray that the survivors don't know what the mending action is. Pardon his language and I don't believe this PTB is bad, it just needs a few changes so ignore his huge exaggeration regarding the PTB patch as a whole.
P.S: Notice how every hook he got was because it's was the survivor's fault for losing a chase to a 110% M1 killer. He was also spreading the damage on his first game and look how fast survivors can mend, it practically had no effect.
Here's another one by Monto, he says everything better.
Another one with him using No Mither
110% movement speed and 2inning the chase with luck, boyo, hag does it, I do it with huntress without hatchets, now all we need is some sloppy butcher treatment to fix the mend
Well, Hag has her traps to compensate for the 110% movement speed. Legion has nothing but a 110% movement speed or he can tag the survivor multiple times with Frenzy. Ofc both options are inefficient.
Inb4 "Get multiple survivors with Frenzy."
Once you do that, you're at square one which is attempting to down a survivor with 110% or hammering the survivor with Frenzy until you down them. When you down the survivor - the time you wasted by causing DW to all 4 survivors is non existent - meaning you wasted more time then what time you wasted for the survivors. -
If she does that then screen shot her message saying what she said and report her for "Witch Hunting".GT_Legend2 said:

Well there is multiple things holding him or her back @Orion. First, when you hit everyone with Frenzy, great job but... now you have to start a 110% M1 chase to seal the deal and down a survivor. This method is so inefficient - by the time a survivor makes a mistake - the time wasted by DW'ing everyone is non existent. Second, the killer is sooooo sluggish which encourages you to use your power to keep hammering the same survivor which gives the survivor no counter play to outplay the Legion (unless ofc the player is not good).Orion said:The reason the Legion feels underwhelming has little to do with their power or stats. Similarly to the Doctor when he was first released, the problem is the Deep Wound mechanic that their power relies on. Deep Wound is simply not that great.
Changes to the Legion will not fix the problem. Deep Wound is what needs fixing.
My Solution:
Increase the DW timer to 60 seconds and the timer will decrease at 50% the speed when in a chase which would be 120 seconds (bare with me my friend).
Healthy survivors getting DW can mend themselves without aid from allies. However injured survivors getting DW cannot mend themselves and need aid from their allies or they can kiss the ground. Of course to balance this situation, the survivor will see auras of all survivors remaining in the trial so they can find a teammate and at the bottom of the screen it will say, "Find Help!" To help newer players understand what's going on. Everything will reset regardless if you are successful or not at finding help.
Lastly, increase his or her movement speed to 4.6m/s ~115% to give the killer lethality when not using Frenzy. Ofc you can increase the CD on Frenzy to compensate but he really REALLY lacks lethality when not using Frenzy.
This would encourage survivors to heal to the healthy state which will waste time (the developers intentions). Survivors will now be punished if they enter DW from the injured state which will waste even more time. Additionally, DW will now be more lethal to the survivor and can cause problematic situations if they choose to not heal to the healthy state.

Stop asking for buffs. Everyone complained the Spirit was the weakest killer and look how that turned out after people learned to play her.Was buffed 2 times ^^
Copletely unnessesary because she got buffed before anyone even learned to play her. Revert the changes and she will still be top tier.
The directional whooshing was completely detrimental and had no need to be the there especially considering it was a change added after the PTB that they had to revert.
The husks changes was also good to allow her to have far more better mind game potential.
And the cooldown changes made her power more viable to actually rely on multiple times rather than it being more of a hindrance to use.
Buffing a killer is not a bad thing, while I will be the first to say learn how to play the Killer before you jump off the deep end and calling for buffs and nerfs because honestly we don't need a Freddy or a reverse Freddy situation.
However acting like the changes to spirit were completely unnecessary makes you kind of come off as an extremely entitled whiner who is irritated that killer got tlc they needed.
I agree with everything you said, the Spirit was actually weak during the PTB and is now a monster if the killer is skilled. Btw, you should ignore certain people on the forums as they are histrionic. -
Looks like people are starting to see how bad the Legion is because I'm starting to get vote ups and awesomes! I don't make up things y'all, I back my points up and if someone has a few to argue with, let's talk about it!

Then I'll mend when the chase breaks, I'm a great survivor and I'll mend beside pallets to make sure you won't sneak up on me. If you sneak up, I'll use the pallet and mend until you use the power to catch me. Repeat until either I'm downed (you have wasted a lot of time not pressuring generators) or until you give up on me (even worse). I'll be honest, I'm terrible at survivor, especially in chases but this killer is a laughing stock. At least with Freddy he doesn't have to hit you 5 times to down you.thesuicidefox said:@Orion said:

OMG please understand the legion's base speed is 110% so, please, explain to me how the [BAD WORD] are they supposed to catch a decent survivor without their "power", do the killer just plays "ring around the rosey" 'till the survivor feels like stoping???I putting this in big text for everyone to read...
THE SURVIVOR MUST STOP TO MEND
They have to. Immediately after the chase ends, they must do that before ANYTHING else. It's not like RBT, or Madness, or normal healing even, where you can choose to do other things for at least some time before doing those actions.
It's this moment where Legion can close the gap on you, and if you are close enough the 5% less movement speed is irrelevant.
Or they can keep looping, because the timer will not go down during a chase.
Dude just break the chase LOL. Like how hard is this to understand really? The game almost seems to do it automatically for you after he fatigues. You can still totally track someone without being in a chase with them. Don't just follow them and trigger a chase, let the chase break and track them from a distance. When they stop to mend you move in and get a hit. If they run they lose time. If they do that too much they just go down because they never mend.
You guys have 0 imagination when it comes to tactics and mind games. Stop just following survivors around like a lost puppy and you will do better I swear.
