Well you'll have to forgive us for not knowing you're being sarcastic because I've literally saw a serious post asking survivors to start on the ground at the beginning and having built in unbreakable for one time to get off the ground and start the gens, they said it would be good for the killer at the start of the game , after that I never know what to believe on here
You don't need to apologise. I should have made it more clear that I was being sarcastic. Btw, can you link me that thread? That sounds hilarious.

LMAOOOOOOOO you just cant play him.
Ghostface is a stealth killer with an insta-down if played properly you can make it impossible for most survivors to tap you out (at least before you expose them).
Just like the counter to Myers, you can use spine chill to easily find out where he is, and hide behind a surface. Also, the insta down is extremely short and if you want to "99" the survivors, they will just break you out.
-
Listen man, I just wanted to say I'm sorry on behalf of the community, that keep using the same counter arguments of "it's for kids" or "he's a bunny". I think it would be a fine idea, and I'm not opposed to the fact of having him in the game. As a teenager, I loved the first 3 games.

Lmao they would have sexualized those two girls wayyyy more if they wanted it to be torture porn.
Um. Humans being attached to another human's anus in a chain sounds like torture porn to me.
-
Here's how I decide when to slug at 5 gens. Down a survivor, if I know there is a flashlight, I will fake the pickup, get a free hit and snowball map pressure. That, or I see an easy free hit after I down the survivor. Killer is all about time efficiency these days, and with maps being as broken as they are, it's pretty necessary sometimes.

@DawnMad said:
The only way to fix this would be to allow killers to kick down the levels. But unlike generators once kicked they should just be unusable for the rest of the game, that would balance Wake Up.
Now on to the real problem, survivors need a way to counter Autodidact, its too strong for the killer.
Yeah, also killers need a way to counter ruin.

@EnderloganYT said:
or you could counter it by hitting the survivor.
Yeah, just added the /s at the end, since the sarcasm went over everyone's head.

Do you understand how making sure you are being sarcastic is important when you are on a forums where people have made serious posts about unused perks being op maybe add a hint next time as again a lot of these posts are dead serious.
I literally compared wake up to fire up, and when I am saying stuff like "It's so OP please nerf, it's like fire up for survivors" it should be obvious, since I joke about fire up quite frequently. Also, putting /s at the end usually ruins it, but there you go.
-
@EmpireWinner said:
Yea, let's the survivor know too much info
Also we can remove No one left behind, too op
Also sole survivor, since it counters BBQ. You know when I don't see anyone on BBQ I am facecamping the hook/s.

The question is: do you think Stridor is balanced? or should get reworked?!
Sounds more like a spirit problem to me. It's balanced overall, just not on spirit.

That's exaggerating badly if you are going against "sweaty" sets all the time I think you are the problem and need to improve as a killer.
Survivor isn't hard. Everyone knows how to run tiles. That's not sweaty, but they do now how to run loops. I barely ever go against sweaty sets, and when I do, I still destroy them as hag or wraith, but DAMN is it annoying to have a object of obsession, DS and unbreakable guy. Losing isn't the problem with me, it just takes the fun out of the game going against a sweaty set.

I prefer the Jojo and fnaf threads to this thread alone.

Lemme guess you're complaining that BBQ is op, yet your survivor build is rocking DS, unbreakable, object of obsession, and dead hard.
Nah, they don't want to bother using off meta and underrated perks like distortion. You should know them better.

Sorry dude, but I don't think you understand how many people play against SWF. This idea would create seperate queue times and screw people over, it is incredibly dumb and shouldn't even be talked about
Do KYF.
-
Most of these replies are "But survivors would never get queues". Not everyone wants to play against a team of friends, as the game isn't supposed to have voice comms. Just do KYF if you can't get queues ๐โโ๏ธ. And for anyone calling non swf "easy mode", the game isn't even balanced around SWF.
-
Yes, yes yes yes yes YES!
-
Randall Flagg.
-
Flashlights will hurt you more than they help against good killers. You can simply fake picking up the survivor, and the flashlight saver will run up and give you a free hit or maybe even a down. If they blind at pallets, just use sound.

Let me tell all that there is to know, I am an expert in King's cosmology.
In the original IT 1986, Pennywise the dancing clown, aka Bob Gray is one of the favourite forms of the entity known as IT.
A part of this entity landed in Derry, around the time of dinosaurs and lived there for millions of years.
Its true form is comparable to a spider, at least that;s what the human mind can see about IT. Its real true form is made of something called the dead-lights.
This form of It is brother and probably equal to another entity called the turtle, later renamed Maturin the turtle.
Both of this creature were created by "the other", which is probably Gan the name of this god of the gods. This is the creature that guides the losers club in their path against It, it is also the creature which congratulates Bill after they defeat IT in 1985.
It is a female monster claimed to be the eater of worlds, in later books we will see more about this nature.
In the 1994 book called insomnia, It seems to be equated with another creature known as the Crimson King, this is later almost redacted with the two being probably two different beings.
In both cases, It and the Crimson King are creature of a dimension called Todash, this is where the agents of the Random come from.
Their job is to destroy the dark tower which is the centre of existence of King's universe.
So is Pennywise like the entity of DBD ?
Yes and no, they both feed on emotions, fear for It and hope for the Entity, and they both have insectoid appeareance. Both are capable of shape shifting abilities and both have reality warping capacities.
The entity and It would easily fit the typical monster from Todash, and we know there are others like It. Shapeshifters capable of reality warping and feeding on human emotions, in the dark tower novels we meet Dandelo which is very similar to It and the Entity.
This is the quick version of the cosmology, now the films will not reveal any of this stuff, or very limited.
You need to read the novel It, the novel insomnia, the novel 1963 to get the full picture of It. If you want more undrstanding you also need to read the dark tower, which is connected to It and the rest of the cosmology I briefly introduced.
Lore wise it would be strange to introduce It to dbd, but doable It and the entity could strike a deal or simply the entity could use the memories of Bill or any other survivor from the losers club to produce a monster inspired by pennywise. A clone if you will.
I'm glad someone has read insomnia and the dark tower series :).

Isn't "he who walks behind the rows" Randall Flagg from the stand?
-
Dead silence. Very iconic image of the puppet making the "silence" gesture.
-
I would also add tenacity and diversion. Tenacity is super underrated, and having the ability to position yourself while slugged is amazing. Diversion also allows you to get heals or savesthat you wouldn't usually be able to get.

I don't know why people think because you're doing cosmic horror that you just gotta use old racist HP. Everything gothic doesnt have to be Edgar Allan Poe. You can have a nice chapter revolved around the entity instead of a lovecraft specific critter. Or since the next two killers are licensed; pennywise or a different Steven king's take on cosmic horror
As a huge Stephen King fan, I would love to see one of his todash monsters like the crimson king in the game from the dark tower. Maybe even Randall Flagg from the stand.

Here's the thing people keep doing to justify him is "well it was in the past" yes it was but he was extremely racist even for his times. It's like saying "Hitler was as racist as everybody else". Yes everyone has done bad, but when it heavily out ways the good then yes we can hate them. Ghandi was racist but even he sent a letter to Hitler telling him to cool it. His actions outwayed his horribleness. HP didnt passively hate other racist; he would write and write about it, about aryan superiority and the like. Some of his horror stories were directly influenced by his fear of other races and power they held.
You can still separate the art from the artist.

Not if the killer camps it. And if the key isn't picked up in a certain amount of time it goes away. Add to that, nearly every time a mori is used the survivor is tunneled off of first hook. That needs to be fixed before they touch keys or alongside changes to keys.
Yeah, camp they key for 100 seconds and 3 gens will fly. Why bring up moris when we're discussing keys in this thread?

But... his opinion is factual, he is the literal god of dbd and knows everything. Whatever he says is 100% accurate.

Love surge has a cooldown and basic hit requirement yet infectious overhere is why billy and oni can snowball. I think blowing up gens nearby is less powerful then basically allowing the killer to instadown everyone. Surge either neees to be put to infectious level or the opposite.

Believe me, they will. It just won't happen soon because of how slowly they release updates.
If they nerf infectious, Billy and Oni will be absolute garbage.
-
Let's hope they don't nerf infectious so it requires a basic attack.

Oh god I want this in the game now.

What if the old ones teamed up with the entity or something, and cultists were killers. Maybe a cultist legion outfit.

I just went against a 4 man swf, and they had the dumbest strategy possible. 3 of them would DC, so one can get the hatch. Unfortunately, I closed it and killed them all. I miss the DC penalty.

No not when you are getting tunneled also it is a skill check meaning not guaranteed you will hit it. Besides it was infinite get out of jail free back in the day didnt have a timer or anything. I get killers who will slug me for 60 seconds than come back just to get me to second hook. That's why I originally put on unbreakable. Killers would hard tunnel if the opportunity arises. So the 60 seconds of "immortality" is needed.
Fair enough if the killer is tunneling, but the timer is so long, that it rewards bad players even if you don't tunnel. Everyone with at least 5 hours in the game can hit that skill check USUALLY. Also, if the counter to the small pp build is waiting the timer out, you are literally throwing the game because of your low map pressure. I was around when old DS was a thing and it was ludacris, maybe it's a less ludacris now, but it's still dumb.
