GOD NO. It takes away so much and all you get is a mori that will only feel cool the first few times, after which it'll be boring. This is removing the long held tradition of bringing survivor to hatch, finding your own cool mori spots, close shaves as the last survivor, basically any reason to run the offerings (since like who's gonna ever use them when puddings and BPS exist?), photobombs, the ability to walk around and get just a few more bloodpoints through pallets or power after hooking the last survivor, and your sick devour hope or rancor plays. Meanwhile, all you get is one mori every 4k that'll probably get stale after a few times, and a difficulty spike for those mors ambitio dailies.
Not to mention the basekit unbreakable, which basically kills the last 2 twins players and makes pressure even harder to obtain as killer. This whole thing was so poorly thought out.

Hopper is an absolute necessity, He's a classic character and a fundamental part of every season
Robin has been more important in general compared to Eddie. Not to say I dislike Eddie, but Robin has been more important and I just prefer her tbh
-
He's the only true classic slasher missing
-
Yall forgetting no mither still exists

I'm a real artist, I know /j

Twins. Everything about them just feels slow and sluggish. They need some help desperately.
-
They have like 3 lines of lore in game. They could use it.

Survivor perks: Doctors Orders
Plenty of rest is the cure to all!
While walking, automatically heal from injured to healthy, up to 10%/15%/20%.
“Look at that…It’s time for bed already.” - Embry
Delightful Departure
One must stay brave, even in times of distress.
While injured, scratch marks disappear 30%/45%/50% sooner. Does not stack.
“Of course we have to go down! That’s the whole point, isn’t it?” - Dr. D. Light
Apple a Day
The best medicine is prevention.
Everytime you heal a survivor, gain a token. Press the active ability button while in chase to gain a 1%/2%/3% speed boost for 15 seconds. Does not stack.
“I will do my best to assist!” - Dr. D. Light

For Demo
Asperous Liverwort (Very Rare)
A type of liverwort that grows near the damp rocks of the Upside Down. They produce spores when startled that can induce panic in some creatures.
Causes all survivors within 8 meters to scream after emerging from a portal.
"A unique specimen found near a pair of rocks. Field team underwent mass paranoia, so no sample was retrieved for testing." - Hawkins National Laboratory

Slowdown/regression is basically a necessity unless all of your chases end in 5 seconds. Otherwise the survivors will crank them out faster than you can keep up with, because most killers can't pressure all 4 survivors at once. Even if you have one on hook and are chasing another, that's still 1-2 people on gens, meaning you NEED fast chases. On the flipside, gen speed perks/items aren't necessary at all. Gens can still be pumped out rather quickly without them, although bringing them does still help.

Your Turn to Die is my number one wish, and the only license with characters that would make me change survivor mains from my man Steve.
Other than that, FNAF and F13 are a close 2nd and 3rd respectively. FNAF slightly more than F13 cause I grew up with them.
-
This wasn't even fair
-
It aint gonna happen but a Your Turn to Die chapter is my number one license choice.
-
"Press E to extend chase by 30+ seconds" is what it is. There's a reason Dead Hard for distance is popular. Getting to another pallet can be the difference between a 5 gen chase and a 0 gen one. In hindsight, I maybe should've said little skill rather than none, cause actually dodging an attack with it does require SOME sense of timing or prediction, but when it comes to distance it could not be more braindead without literally being passive. It really feels like a button that just says "You lose, I win" in those situations.

I read "TTYD".
Meaning "The Thousand Year Door".
Meaning "Paper Mario".
I was a tad bit confused lol
Shadow Queen killer when?
-
Midori YTTD
I'm aware it wouldn't really work well. no I don't care.
-
Hawkins comes back. Even for just a bit. God I miss Hawkins.
-
Ghostface and Myers will always rule in that category.
-
Haddonfield still exists fyi
-
not bad, not good, all rage-inducing
-
This wouldn't be my choice if not for it only ever appearing when I have an "escape with x item" challenge selected. It's not like I'm using my rainbow map that much anyway, why do I have to keep track of where I dropped it on top of normal gameplay stuff
-
I loved this map on both sides.
On survivor hiding behind walls was just effective enough to be worth going for but also too ineffective to do so calmly, it made DBD feel like an actual horror game.
On killer each of the room layouts led to interesting mind game attempts which made chases feel intuitive and rewarding rather than the same basic mindgames a lot of maps had.
plus it was relatively balanced and I was a ghostface main at the time so overall I loved that map with all my heart.

New addon for the Nemesis
Spade Key (idk, purple?): an old key used to access parts of the Raccoon City Police Station. Destroying zombies with tentacle strike no longer gives mutation rate. Destroying pallets and breakable walls with tentacle strike gives some mutation rate (about 1/3 or 1/2 as much as a zombie would give)
Broken Debris (def purple): debris from the home of a S.T.A.R.S member you hunted down. While in tier 2, hitting a generator with tentacle strike will cause it to regress if no survivors are working on it.

at least I can find things

Your Turn to Die: Death Game by Majority Vote.
-
I aint giving up! Finish gens and hope I can break ankles enough to open gates or get to hatch.
-
Jason and Slenderman are a close 2nd and 3rd, but I grew up on FNAF. I'm biased.
-
He's a solid A tier already IMO. He's in the perfect state of balance (aside from his add-ons, which could use some help yeah)
-
I'm a scoops ahoy steve, like hell I'm going for stealth.
-
you don't need to attack ghostface mains by making him perma blight bro
-
There is no better time and also I am a huge fnaf fan with wishful thinking. Even if his power was a straight detriment like old freddy, springtrap would be a top 3 main no question.
I do think Alien has some chance but the issue is Disney. Good luck. And IT has a marginally ok chance too I guess.
-
only if they use ambush during chase for mix ups. Traps just don't do it for me
-
better myers tombstone? aw hell nah.
He needs an add-on pass, but not that.
-
I play ghostie on the side and use undetectable perks on the side. Spine chill negates them. Hell, as a spine chill and iron will user I can tell you I get much more value out of spine chill. That warning is damn good.
-
blights are like actually fun to go against. You gotta be quick on your feet and quicker on your routing.
-
honestly the only movie franchise I actively want in currently is F13th. Everything else is from a video game. So of course I gotta go with my man
-
Joe or Sara from Your Turn to Die are the only characters that could actually draw me away from Steve at this point. Absolute dream chapter.
-
ok so scale of 1-10, how annoyed would you be if I made Sara as well?
too bad, I made Sara as well. Once again, SPOILERS FOR UP TO CHAPTER 2-1. THEY WILL NOT BE MARKED.
anyway Sara perks go brrrr
Born Leader: You’re a natural at leading a group to victory.
If you are doing a cooperative action with one other survivor, they will gain the haste status effect for 2/3/4 seconds after you both leave the action.
“This is it! ” - Sara Chidouin
Careful Eyes: You take great caution to help others avoid danger.
When entering a chase, the killers aura will be shown to all survivors for 3/4/5 seconds. Has a cooldown of 15 seconds after escaping a chase.
“I tortured myself with hallucinations of my own making. But I've woken up now.”- Sara Chidouin
Avenge the Fallen: You can’t let them just die for nothing.
After a survivor is sacrificed or killed, you will repair generators 50% faster for 4/6/8 seconds.
“No matter how cruel it is, you can't stop! - Sara Chidouin
Alright that's all for now. Will I make more YTTD characters? Doubtful. I probably could but I don't exactly feel like it. Anway, here's that character info screen for Sara.
-
Creator of Monsters is not bad, but nothing outstanding. It would have its place in certain builds, like sabo save based ones, but without synergy it isn't too useful. So not an awful design.
No Time for Breaks is a nice and simple one, no complaints here.
Bittersweet Ending is actually quite nice. It's at that perfect mix of balanced yet useful. 10/10 on that one.
Overall: One of the better designed sets of survivor perks I've seen. Good job.
-
I like the idea in concept, an item that's really just for bragging rights at the end of the day that you need to go through a whole process to get. That part I like. I don't how I feel about some of them actually having effects, such as the GUN. I think just as a trophy of sorts would be better. Maybe there would be rewards for getting them the first time or something, like lore for their respective character, but other than that I think they should just be a fun little challenge more than anything else.
TLDR: Not a fan of them having effects, but it would be cool to see those items as a trophy of sorts.
-
I like this one more personally, but it needs some sorting out
some games are perfect, fun, and balanced, and in others the games over in minutes
-
well this sure does seem a tad biased
-
why tho
-
I am alright with Lovecraftian horror and stuff, but Cthulhu? Last I checked humans cannot even comprehend Cthulhu. Cthulhu is far too strong to be in-game. He'd either have to be nerfed to the point it may as well not be Cthulhu anymore or it'd be FAR too broken. He's also big as hell, like hundreds of meters tall, so he wouldn't fit in multiple maps. I'd prefer a license that can stay true to the original's power scale, something like Jason, Alien, Candyman, or others who don't need to be dumbed down too far to work.
-
the big issue insidious has is camping (as was pointed out above) and this only amplifies it. And the free aura reading is broken as hell, especially on Spirit, who stands still normally as a "mindgame" during chases. It doesn't need a straight buff, it needs a full rework.
-
I get it's a 'silly concept' but I'm gonna hold it to normal standards anyway because I can
He can shut down chases far too fast without giving the survivors a chance to escape, which is far too powerful. He wouldn't take a whole lotta skill to be one of the best, which I believe is an issue. The nails on the pallets can be used to essentially prevent them from using anything, and the 3 nail 'drawback' isn't that prohibiting, since he can recall them whenever in such a short amount of time. I suggest making it so that he can ONLY recall them at lockers, meaning he actually has to be careful with using them.
King of Splinters also needs a larger drawback. Perhaps he can't vault windows, or maybe it takes longer to. That way the player has to utilize their power with proper timing, rather than just whenever they're in a jungle gym or something.
I also have a bone to pick with 2 specific add-ons. Duct Tape and Rat chewed cable. These don't affect his power, they affect the game itself, making it even easier to play this guy and win with minimal effort. Perhaps make it so his Nail or Splinters can affect those objects, adding on the debuffs to them in the process.
Open Space Concept has a cool premise but ultimately is useless outside of like 2 scenarios.
Don't Blame the Tools is alright I guess, but it really just seems like a Hangman's Trick rework.
I don't see how you could get more than the 6/5/4 tokens needed to activate Shoddy Product. Maybe needs to be reworded to "every seventh/sixth/fifth pallet vaulted by survivors breaks right after they finish vaulting" but otherwise a good perk.
Overall a really cool concept, but the power has very minor drawbacks and is kinda broken. that, and Open Space Concept needs either a rework or a buff.
-
eh why not
This is the only perk I have finished for Jou 'Joe' Tazuna so far. I plan on making the rest eventually.
Ever take a hit for someone only for them to go down shortly after, leaving your efforts wasted? Well no longer!
Friend to the End
Your affection for your friends inspires those around you.
All survivors within 8/12/16 meters of you gain a 7% speed boost for 2 seconds after you take a protection hit.
“I love ya, Sara! You’re my best friend!” - Jou Tazuna
btw go play Your Turn to Die, thats where Jou is from. He's not my character.
-
Please critique me very harshly on this, my ego has been a tad too big recently (but seriously I'd like criticism please and thank you)
Friend to the End (Survivor Perk)
Your affection for the others inspires those around you.
All survivors within 8/12/16 meters of you gain a 7% speed boost for 2 seconds after you take a protection hit.
“I love ya, Sara! You’re my best friend!” - Jou Tazuna
I'm thinking maybe 7% is too low or maybe 2 seconds isn't enough but I'm not sure.

Ghosty boy for life!

Not even top tier?
Ngl, if it's not too tier why is it seen so often. I'll tell you why. Slugging.
Slugging is basically an easy win for any killer who knows how to do it effectively. If you don't have unbreakable or no mither then you can't get up by yourself. Nobody likes being slugged, as its an easy loss. It's a top tier perk, because it helps against a strong strategy and even when paired with DS becomes really powerful . To pretend it isn't top tier is plain ignorance.
my guy its used so often because people get sick of being slugged or when its paired with DS (in which case unbreakable isnt the issue). that doesn't make it top tier.
Distortion counters Aura reading perks, something a large majority of the killer playbase uses, so why isn't it top tier then huh? by your logic, if it counters something strong it should be top tier.
Its used to combat against one killer strat that isn't guaranteed to even happen in your match. I'd say thats not very top tier. useful, certainly, but not top.
