Honestly, I like this idea a lot. Much more than springtrap. I did a complete 180 on fnaf, and as long as it's springtrap or stitchwraith, I would be happy with a fnaf chapter. I remember I loved the first 3 as a teenager, then I started hating it. Fnaf 3 is pretty well done though. I haven't read this books either, so this might be interesting.

I hardly slug and 3k (basically 4k but hatch) 99% of the time with any killer on EU servers (known as the sweatiest and most toxic servers for DbD). Maybe you are simply not good enough to win matches without slugging. Which is fine. But don't ask for easy wins and nerfing perks just because you can't keep up with better players.
I play on EU servers and I am an Oni main, who's power relies on slugging. I only suggest heavily on Oni. Also nice strawman, I never said I wanted unbreakable nerfed.
-
Yeah, for spirit maybe, but no other killer. Freddy is fine, he has some decent counterplay, and I think every killer should be as good as him. Same can be said about doc. Of course, OP add-ons like iri head and tombstone piece need nerfs.

Steve is god. Best cosmetics. Nancy and Yui are close though.

Mindbreaker should receive the tinkerer treatment imo:
Exhaustation is paused until survivors do 85% of gens.
12/14/16 seconds of exhausted status effect when doing a gen.
I think it would be decent after this buff though
100% agree. I would actually use it quite regularly on non stealth killers if this buff happened.

Devs said multiple times that hook suiciding didn't increase when DCing Penalty was added, people rarely kill themselves on hook and I think preventing people doing so would be far more unhealthy for the game.
How would it be more unhealthy for the game?

But do you know what's better? Nemesis and save the best for last. It's so op, I get stunned, chase and lose all my stacks.

You do know that Myers really does take less skill than Doc, objectively speaking? It's not really an opinion, he just has more things in his base kit, whereas Myers is a basic chase killer that has nothing creative but a slightly increased lunge distance. Which means that every skill can be lifted from basekit Myers and applied to basekit Doc, but the same cannot be said in reverse.

I disagree. Doc has free location information on survivors with static blast. Its easy to zap them in chase and stop them dropping pallets or vaulting windows. You get free deerstalker if you get them to tier 3 and then slug.
Myers starts in tier 1 with slower speed and small lunge. You have to be strategic to not over stalk one survivor too early or else you will have nothing left on them when you see them again later in the match. Smart Myers will 99 their tier 3. You have to be strategic and know the right time to pop your tier 3 so you can ensure you get a down and make sure they don't make you waste it by being at a super safe loop when you pop it.
I think all that takes more skill than Doc and his madness zapping.
Regardless, calling someone's opinion objectively wrong is stupid. Like what OP said to me.

I was just sitting here and trying to think when it would come in use. I mean when would it be useful other than against the doctor. I guess maybe the clown but I cannot remember sitting here right now if you scream when running through the fog or just cough.
Sorry for being dumb but just thinking about it. I mean okay I do not scream when I get a meat hook in the back and become a hooker but that does not help. I could imagine not screaming when stepping in a bear trap but the trap itself alerts the trapper.
I just kind of feel maybe they could have added calm spirit and Iron Will into one perk. I mean then I could see using the perk more often and it kind of makes sense right? I mean if I wont scream when I get my guts and body zapped then I imagine I also won't moan when walking around. Right?
Sorry not trying to start anything but just a thought and was wondering why they did not make those two perks into one. I figure then maybe just maybe it would get used more because I do like using it but most games I get it is really a pointless perk because it is really only strong against the Lovable Doctor. =)
Can anyone else maybe give me an idea of it's use?
Amazing and underrated perk. It gives killers less information on crows, which can help your stealth game, or give you safe unhooks. It prevents infectious, rancor and deathbound which are used quite frequently now. When you're hit, you can do some cool jukes and it is pretty much essential on survivors like Jane who scream a lot when hit. Of course it hard counters doctor as well.

Your thread wasn’t the same. You said Michael takes less skill to play than Doctor. And that’s not an opinion. That’s just wrong. And I saw that you took my advice and deleted the thread. So well done. 😘
Nah, I just deleted my thread to stop non constructive backlash from people like you who think an opinion like mine can be objectively wrong. Instead of actually using constructive criticism, you took the easy way out and told me to delete my thread. My thread was just as subjective as yours ☺️

Keep trying and I wil ldo that same. I admire you efforts. 😍
I wish we all were able to see both sides, sadly, some people are not wired with that ability.
Example: I loath camping and tunnelling - however - on the flip side I can see a killer's point of view when they say to us it will make use better in a chase or a loop. It's a valid POV.
POV and perspective is a funny thing sometimes.
For you:

Exactly, I hate both camping, tunneling, NOED, DS and unbreakable, but sometimes I can see why people do it. 🤝

As the title says, have you ever had teammates that make you 🤦?
I'll share a story of mine, once I was solo queuing and there was this Laurie on our team. I was hooked and I had kindred so there was no excuse for why one of them could get off a gen and come and get me. Anyway this Laurie decided to run towards me, I was anticipating her to rescue me off the hook. But like your stereotypical Meg main, she decides to work on a generator right in front of me while I had plenty of struggle time left. It made me want to reach through the screen and choke the player lmao.
I waited for the Laurie to die so I could ask her why she completely ignored me, her reasoning was, and I quote 'I don't know you, you're a stranger, who the ######### are you...'. I've never had anything piss me off and confuse me at the same like that sentence did. What is the point of playing an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER game if you don't appreciate strangers? Makes zero sense.
What idiotic moments have you had from your teammates?
Imagine this scenario. Unhooked Claudette, took a hit, killer chases and downs me. When I'm hooked, Claudette begins self caring while sloppy butcher is active instead of saving me. God, I hate self care.

When I'm playing Oni, I'm listening to King Crimson.
King crimson slaps. In the court and red are amazing.

Death grips make music that slaps, but might be hard first listen. Queens of the stone age make amazing desert rock. Swans make 35 minute long epic songs. Godspeed you! black emperor make music that feels like walking in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Radiohead makes amazing existential albums. Father John Misty is a very opinionated individual, but entertaining nonetheless.
-
It's underrated AF. Being able to crawl fast and recover at the same time is huge, you don't even need unbreakable to use it well.

He is weaker than the other top killers so there' no need to do anything to him unless you gave him something in return.
Agreed.

Pyramid has strong chase potential but no map pressure. Maybe add a small slowdown after he cancels his attack or something like old clown.

@Dsalter said:
i mean both are clearly over-performing if they are in pretty much every build, spine chill especially breaks the ability of stealth of several killers while BBQ allows you to pretty much counter any form of stealthing, especially doubled down with either iron maiden or doctor's powers.
i mean the whole idea of DBD is that its considered a horror game, doesn't having a perk that works from basically just beyond most killers terror radius and know if they are looking at you sort of take the "horror" from the aspect of a horror game? at least premonition has a cooldown.
BBQ not only rewards you for hooking someone with more points but simultaneously rewards you for hooking by letting you find other survivors for a whole 10 seconds just outside of most killers terror radius taking away some of the skill of tracking along with denying other survivors any real stealth, seems kind of cheesy right?
my solution for both of these is:
nerf spine chill to 12/16/20 range for it to activate so you can still get the "oh no im being found" aspect of the perk without completely nullifying a good portion of the killers ability to ambush you and upgrade the speed boost to 8/16/24% so you have that risk reward of finishing what your doing now or legging it before they grab you.
reworking BBQ so that instead of revealing survivors outside the hooks radius it reveals them INSIDE the hooks radius allowing you to know if anyone was following you to attempt to break hooks or borrow time unhook and maybe even while revealed they suffer from the exposed status so that they are punished for trying to follow the killer rather than fearing them which in turn will buy the killer some time knowing that a survivor is not nearby or if they are they get a chance to punish them for trying to unhook so soon.
now your probably wondering why BBQ didn't retain its bonus blood points? i personally think perks that boost your gains outside of matches influence how often something is used to much and with the possible buff to blood gains in future maybe its about time we change those perks to be more functional, speak of...
surprise rework idea for distressing perk for killer and we're gunna live forever!
We're gunna live forever can actually encourage people to play quite destructively, selfish or toxically due to the bonus blood points, so instead of speeding up healing or bonus blood points i suggest that if the survivor unhooking is healthy they are blood bound to the injured survivor, if the healthy survivor takes a hit within 12 seconds that survivor is put into the injured state and the injured other survivor is healed by one health state.
if the unhooked survivor is hit within 10/11/12 seconds of being unhooked the blood bound healthy survivor instead takes the damage and is put into the injured state and the killer is flashlight blinded for 3 seconds.
this rework will discourage tunneling and rewarding sacrifice and protection over the current "i want my blood points" mentality it currently provides.
Distressing now not only increases your terror radius but survivors will breathe 50% louder or 100% louder if they have been inside a locker for 7/6/5 seconds or if you are looking their direction (including inside a locker)
this will make stealthiness harder around distressing without making it impossible and reward a killer with good audio perception similar to how whispers is the spine chill for killers this would be the premonition for killers
BBQ has 7 counters. 7 COUNTERS! If you really hate BBQ, just run distortion, hide in a locker or hide behind a gen.

They're going to the back hook in the basement :).
-
Well spoken mate. 👏
-
If you read the book, you would know why he wouldn't fit. Simply put, she is an entirely different entity than the entity herself, and might be even more powerful.
-
Wraith, Bubba and ghostface are amazing to start out with, as they are quite simple to play. Make sure you unlock BBQ and chili as a teachable as well. When you get a good grasp of the game, try out killers like Oni, Billy, hag, plague and more. It's all down to personal preference though.
-
I love it when people experiment like this. Props dude.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
That would be nice. Right now, giving Props is kind of useless (I still do it in case maybe it does something in the background that we're not aware of) but it would be nice to get some kind of a notification when people give Props. Be a nice balance to actually receive something good since the only people that usually send a message are ######### who want to be ######### about how badly I did that round.
I think it would decrease the toxicity levels in game. Maybe the player that is given props gets 5k bp or something. It would be pretty healthy for the game, and I don't see why not.

@NuclearBurrito said:
Simple. Because her power is information denial. Not having a que is the whole point.
Same can be said with wraith.
-
As long as killers can ban items, offerings or perks :).
-
Hmm. If you know how to use Oni or Billy's power to stop loops you can use shred to semi stop loops. Basically, on short loops, you can moonwalk, charge shred right before you round the corner and hit a survivor. This only works on some loops. A extremely helpful tip from Bronx's guide, is on car loops like Badham, your shred won't make collision, so you can counter car loops entirely.
-
Good survivors would never allow them to get chainsawed in a chase. Loops countered him completely, and against good survivors, he would only get his chainsaw hits from longsaws. Maybe a really good curve on unsafe loops can down someone. However, I do agree this might be healthy, because gens might not go as fast.
-
@Splinterverse said:
No. It's not that. In fact, the game is killer focused and becoming more so as the days go on. Play at all ranks for hours on end in various teams (SWF and solo) and you'll see. They've made Bubba OP now and reversed much of the Billy changes. They've yet to reverse any of the endless survivor nerfs. BHVR is killer focused as it is. Leave it.
How is Bubba op?

@CHED1 said:
I played trapper for a while. I found that all of the games I lost with him were because I found someone too early. I would get into chase and lose potential for my power.
I had usually placed all the traps in my hand at the time so therefore had none to use in a chase.
I feel as though If you continue to set up. Survs with comms or even just a single survivor will now know your location, therefore the location of your traps; simply avoid the area or go and immediately disarm them.
This sucks the worst on some Macmillan maps and blood lodge, ones with open planes.
What would you do in this Situation?
I do the same thing I do as hag. 15 second fungoose rule. If I don't get a hit or a god pallet within 15 seconds I stop chasing. If I get a hit, I will leave them to go heal, and continue to set up, unless they run into a deadzone.

Are people really trying to argue that Huntress is beneath that trash can of a killer who is really only good because he has a bs terribly small terror radius that should be larger?
He's pretty weak though. He is a slow killer, and on most maps you can stay out of his line of sight.
-
Huntress has more exploitable weaknesses than slinger like her 48 meter humming radius and her wind up. A good slinger will do better than a good huntress, since he can zone survivors and doesn't need to charge his redeemer.
