Shape usually has to slowly stalk to reach that level and then activate it at the right time not always on demand. Not like the Oni, just follow any wounded survivor closely around the map, lapping up blood until their power is charged then hold it and use it whenever they feel like it.
The two drops you get every few meters doesn't add up very quickly. Plus sucking them up slows you down. I find it better to let them go heal and find someone else to hit. That way all the orbs will be in one spot for later.

Level 46 atm

If they did it would be like KYF where you don't earn anything from it.

removing fog, brightening game?
Yes thats bannable if you can prove it. I haven't heard of anyone brightning the game through the ini files though. Turning up your monitor setting isn't going to get you banned.

Killers are probably new too and thats just how they play. Same for survivors crouch walking around the edge of the map. Even if they're not new some killers do play this way because well, survivors reward it.

It is the current year.

No, if you're unlocking FPS and/or turning off vsync.

It takes many many many developing hours to increase the sensitivity bar in the options menu.

Add a secondary objective besides gens. Repairing generators is boring anyways.
I agree holding M1 is very boring. The game is about the chases but how some games go there isn't much time for them. The whole survivor objective needs to be looked into and made more interactive. Not just a bandaid second objective.

Sound legit.

Its not about a narrative. Its a about buffing Solos to balance Killers around SWF-Level.
I know why they are asking for it. But what is never discused is what buffs will killers get to compensate for the amount of information the survivor will now have access to.
The game is balanced around lack of information and the choices made because of that restraint. It's not that solos are weak but SWF is too strong. SWF have something that is not taken into account when balancing the game and thats communication and coordination. The purpose of buffing solo queue to SWF is to balance SWF. That includes buffing killers to handle the advantages of communication and coordination.
So what buffs will killers get if solo == swf? I really want to know the plans for this or stop saying buff solos to swf levels and adjust killers later. Because in my experience later never comes.

I already know how to do demon dash flick hits on console. It's the regular demon strike that's the problem. It's horrible when trying to do charged hits.
It does block a lot of the screen. But at the same time it's a one shot ability with a lot of control.

Well the basement bug was literally game breaking. The perk bugs, while really bad, did not prevent the game from being played.
What I'm sure both of us want is more hotfixes between chapter updates. I for one don't like waiting 45 days for a patch to broken elements in the game just to have more things break in their place.
-
More the reason to activate the banning system.
-
PC or console?
I know Oni's controls are really bad on console but on PC he is easy to control.

Solos escape rate is not more than 25%. You see that when you play solo for yourself and stats prove that. So, some DBD players are equal and some are more equal? Killers and SWF are allowed to have fun while solo survivors are not and must be cannon fodder? Is that fair? What are you complaining about? The hypocrisy is real.
"Giving a powerfull perk like Kindred" ... blah blah. Don't be a drama queen, you need to give solo 10 perks like that to make any noticeable difference. Besides SWF already have that information and MUCH more, why should there be privileged and unprivileged survivors? So, calm down and let the DEVs make this game fair for everyone.
Are you saying that having the ability to know when another survivor is going for the save isn't strong and doesn't hurt the killer in any way?
I play solo survivor and don't play in SWFs. That's more than likely why I don't agree to the notion that solos are weak. I feel the ones stating this are thoses that normally play SWF and occasionally solo and try to compare the two. The survival rate is 25%? You know how many times I've seen a 1k turn into a 3k because survivors want to play hero instead of escaping? You should really take the Devs stats with a tub of salt.
-
The Discord server is fan made and not directly managed by BHVR.
-
If survivors were more in the mindset of escaping over risky saves at end game, I feel the survival rate would increase substantially.
-
I like how the narative has become solos are helpless and weak. Yes, getting bad teammates sucks but four randoms that are independently good can out play any killer.
Giving a powerful perk like kindred to all survivors for free and allowing another perk to take that empty spot would throw the "balance" of the game. Kindred alone would remove any hook pressure for the killer.
As a survivor working on a gen while a teammate gets hooked. I'm not getting off that gen if I see someone else going for the save. Time wasted by two or more survivors going for the save is lost for the killer and it doesn't cost a perk slot.
So what does the killer get in exchange for the increased gen efficiency? Are you willing to make a non-hex version of Ruin basekit? How about increasing base movement speed from 4.6 to 4.8 and 4.4 to 4.6?

I haven't been on the project long enough to know for sure about the old adepts (that was a long time ago!). But it's possible that was before we were on consoles. Steam doesn't care, which is why we were able to change Skilled Huntress to 20 there from 100.
About new adepts, we wish to keep these consistent across the board. It's possible we could change what "Merciless" means, but then it's a matter of priority.
I agree these are unbalanced in terms of how hard they are to get compared to Survivors's adepts, so I hope to address this at some point in the future. I just can't make any promises about it.
The original meaning of Merciless Killer was killing all four survivors. It was just a message at the end of the match and wasn't tied to the pipping system as that was based on bloodpoints.
In patch 1.5.3 the message became tied with the pipping sysyem. You still needed to kill all four to receive a Merciless. The first Emblem system update marked the first time you could receive a Merciless Victory without killing all four survivors. But until recently, (Ghost Face or Demogorgon patches), a bug allowed killers to unlock adept with a Ruthless as long as they killed all four survivors.
The requirements fot killer adept achievements has gone away from what it original was intended to be. Because someone long ago wrote down the message, Merciless, instead of the meaning, kill all four survivors, killer's adept has become increasingly more difficult to obtain. Especially the higher your rank.
So when it comes to chaging the achievement it's already been changed several times. Letting it unlock with a 4k shouldn't be huge issue when it was the original requirement when the achievements were made.

But she definitely needed SOME changes to her basekit. Yes, of course Nurse requires a high degree of skill to use, BUT mistakes were very forgiving. Being able to pretty much repeatedly blink over and over with such little drawback was not healthy.
Blinking wrongly gave a lot of opportunity to the survivor in chase. She didn't break the game she changed it. She broke the loop de loop throw pallet meta that is played against every killer. For one killer you actually had to think where to go what to do and if you messed up you get hit. Survivors complaining about how she ignores pallets. So what? The whole map is there to use and the resources are not finite like pallets. The goal in a chase is to waste time, to allow other survivors to complete gens not 1v1 the killer all match.
In the end the only players benefiting from the added cool down are survivors that were already good against Nurse. Survivors that rely on loops and pallets still sit at pallets against a Nurse then complain when she hits them.

There are dead zones around some killer shacks as well.

so, you would like that killers' auras were shown to the killer as long as a survivor is on the hook?
Correct π

nope. killer's aura don't last for as long as a survivor is on the hook. except when he is a piece of (good thing) and camps.
Survivor's auras show though. π§
-
I wish it was a reverse bbq. That would imply bbq aura last for as long as a survivor is on the hook.

The devs saying theres no aim assist when there is so everyone thinks this game doesnt have aim assist then explain whats dragging my swing to the left and right.
Auto-aim
Devs do say aim assist is in the game to clean up hit animation. If the game detects a hit it will square up the hit animation. The problem becomes by moving the camera an object could move within the weapon path and strike it instead.

Was more of a metaphorical you than trying to call you specifically out.
You do have a point in general but under the current circumstances of a bugged basement we are only asking for some common courtesy.

We are supposed to hook you in the basement too. We all need to make sacrifices here.

Same here. She feels so much better than she has for nearly 2 months on dedicated servers. π
Still have to deal with that ######### cool down, but at least I can tell the distance between me and the survivor during the blink window now.

Please don't

It's more like,
Step 1 do gens
Step 2 mess with the killer for boldness
Step 3 escape

Thats what I was saying. The average doesnt matter here. Were talking about what she can do.
Can is very broad in this context. Yes, a Nurse can end chases quickly but you also have to concede that survivors can extend chases for multiple generator even against a good Nurse.
The question not being asked is, how long should chases last? Whenever you are chasing a survivor, three others are potentially working on generators. Every second devoted to a chase is three seconds removed from the survivor objective. Consider that killers have to win up to 24 chases while survivors have 5 gens which can be worked on in parallel. In red ranks, where this discussion is based, gens in a none ruin match can be completed in 3 to 4 minutes. If gens can be completed this fast, why can't chases?

@Endstille Good to know the test methodology. π€
-
Those saying its holding the game hostage, it isn't. The survivors will bleedout and end the match. Holding hostage is deliberately making it so the match cannot end by normal means.
I take it OP usually DCs if the killer slugs. Get over it or take the time penalty. There are things on both sides that piss people off that everyone needs to learn to tolerate.
The fact you did this to prove a point is more toxic, imo. You would garner more sympathy if you were one of the survivors bleeding out to an ######### killer instead of being that killer.
-
Those survivors are just testing the new system.
π
-
It needs to reflect the original intent of killing all four survivors.
-
Resubmit the ticket I guess.

So survivors with BT are no longer forced to mend or is this just for deep wounds?

Maybe we had a massive influx of new players?
