Nope on PC. What platform?
-
Then you get to go against the same 200 ping killer behind a server.
-
I'm sure it's in the pipeline.
-
That's why SWF is this games Pandora's Box.
-
I think some people here are delusional to think the community is fine with Billy as he is. More people with the same points as Nomadd are going to come forward the closer we get to Billy's addon rework.
-
Okay
😐
-
Some setting won't be there due to the nature of the game.
We should have these options without having to edit our ini files:
- VSYNC toggle
- Refresh rate
- Anti-ailias toggle
-
I think we can all agree that genrush is only a problem when facing coordinated swf groups with all the tasty perks equipped
Disagree. Solo's can hold M1 just as good as SWFs.

Now I'm not totally against it, but there's a bunch of things that need to be considered, such as:
- Where do these toolboxes spawn? Set locations? Chests? Literally anywhere? Do I need to search every inch of grass in case they're in there? Do you see them?
- What if I want to use a different item, like a medkit or a flashlight? Would I have to drop that and grab a toolbox instead?
More importantly, in order for it to be worthwhile for survivors, you would need to find a toolbox and get back to a generator in under 20 seconds, otherwise you'd be better of powering through it. But that also raises a different question, would those extra 20 seconds really be a game changer against a really good team?
Those are the sorts of things I'm curious about.
You have to find a obtain the golden toolbox before repairing any gens. Including the Hawkins map. 😈
-
Nah
All this would do is increase gen repair time. Killer regresses a gen and bam you're back to 0.8 charges per second.
A real solution would be an overhaul of the survivor objective. Something that's not a hold M1 simulator.
-
It's just a term used to point out the imbalance between the killer's objective and survivor's objective.
-
safely unhook 1 survivor during the end game collapse
I didn't have much trouble with this one. As long as you run BT and willing to trade spots it shouldn't be too bad.
One I had issues with was Decisive Light. At red ranks it's hard to get a killer not looking at a wall while picking up a survivor. Luckly, you don't need to get the save for it to count. So don't worry about timing, just go for the blind score.
-
This is an arguement as old as DBD.
Many flame wars fought over which one was better.
Many lost their forum right over it. Some were never the same, cold and bitter. 😢
Dark, dark days they were and here you are opening old wounds. 😠
-
No, let them waste time.
On another note. Wouldn't be nice if Cruel Limits blocked lockers too?
-
Especially the survivor hanging from one.
Camping #########.
-
The true counterplay is complain to the Devs so they nerf him.
-
I see two purples and a yellow. Can this really be called red ranks? 😉
Think it's more like Why is everyone so toxic in SWFs?
-
If the killer is clearly carrying a survivor a long distance, taking a hit has a high chance of the survivor wiggling off.
-
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I find those that say her base was overpowered to be the same who dislike that Nurse can go through objects and can't be looped by normal means. In other words, they still don't like the current Nurse and feel the Devs didn't go far enough. Devs could of added back the fatigue plus weapon wipe on top of a cool down and they would still be here stating she is the strongest killer. Damn if she's fun to play or not. Trying to convence or change their minds is pointless effort.
-
I find both perks to be in an OK place.

No... Spirit addons have upside and downside.
Limiter has downside and bp (which i wouldnt call an upside)
Spirit, noun
spir·it | \ ˈspir-ət
- prevailing tone or tendency
-
People complain maps are getting too bright and losing the old atmosphere. Devs give us a dark map and we complain its not bright enough.
-
To keep with the spirit of the addon, it should double the charge time.
-
It's the most broken item in the game. Why the Devs allow such an item to exists is beyond me.

forcing us to remain in games
It's a reasonable assumption with the DC timeout penalty being added.

I hate it when people say "just do gens". I will repost this here as an example. Facecamping has almost 0 counterplay when done by the 1 shot killers (only deliverance+DS+unbreakable) and can still be an absolute nightmare even when done by traditional killers. I can 3-4k with facecamping at rank 1 very easily.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/441/OZEWEU1FTFFP.png
It is mindless to do, and isn't even punished particularly hard by the emblem system. What is the counter? Don't go down in the first place? Good luck against spirit.
I don't believe those survivors did the "Just Do Gens" strategy. By the looks of it they ran around the hook trying to save their friend. The -46 should be proof enough. If you camped one survivor to death you would have a min of -330 (16 meters) and a max of -825 (8 meters). Maybe you weren't going for the face camp strategy but the walk away and phase back to the hook strategy.
-
Will this be cash or check?

I'm need to add that this thread was mostly about spirit. I don't play nurse much so I think I've missed something. Did her fatigue get extended or her speed slowed even more?
They added a cool down everytime you used her blink. Blink once 3 seconds, blink twice 6 seconds. The cool down starts at fatigue. If you begin charging a blink before the cooldown ends you lose that recharge progress. Base speed is still 3.85 m/s.
If you face a Nurse and wonder why she's not blinking as much, there's your answer.
-
Nerfed to two blinks? Take it you mean the extra blink addons but thats not what's upsetting everyone. Taking those out was no problem for the most of us. It's the second cool down to her basekit.
Having to wait every time you use your power breaks the flow of her game play. Chases are a series of she's blinking pause, she's blinking pause. Not very fun when its over and over again. She's not like other killers with cool downs. She needs to blink to move around. Other killers can continue chases while their power recharges or ignore the power entirely. Nurse can only float after survivors.
-
Engine update. Happens every time.
-
Deliverance
Nerf the possitive 🤔
Ok, instead of a guaranteed unhook we will double your chance of unhooking in exchange for not having to save someone first. 😁

I can sometimes 4k 5 gen with killers like Pig, Leatherface, and trapper. Your example means literally nothing.
Damn, we need to nerf Pig again.
-
Can't mori what you can't find.
-
the killers are way too fast and have too many advantages now you're forcing us to remain in games with unfair killers camping and tunneling survivors just to Mori them
Upset that you can't DC without penalty?
😕
-
This is embarrassing but, who is Adam?
😕

@fcc2014 said:
@xRem so do you think that it should be left in the game to continue to be abused by a "few" killers?
Both sides constantly deal with bugs.
Agitation II
Tinkerer
Devour Hope stacks(get stacks striking survivor on hook)
Stuck on trees
Unable to escape through exits
Unable to heal, be healed, mend or interact with a generator
This are a few bugs that benefited killers and were in the game for a bit of time.
BHVR for their flaws are not favoring one side over the other. It is what can they fix because they found the root cause.
Devour Hope? You meant to say STBFL or something else right?

But that’s the problem it doesn’t have a lot of control
For PC, I think there's more control than Nascar Billy.
-
I've made the suggestion that the cool down be activated on swings, hit or miss, instead of blinking and the length would be determind by how many chain blinks you made for the hit.
@Mr_K said:
This is quite boring. Half the time I'm chasing the survivor at 3.85 m/s while waiting for my blinks to come back. I can tell the survivors are bored with it too or confused on how to act while I'm floating around. Having to wait for her power to refresh isn't like other killers with cool downs. Other killers can continue to chase and apply pressure to the survivor while their power refreshes. The Nurse has to gently glide after them removing all tension from the chase.
It's like taking mini breaks in between chases. Chase pause resume
Not riveting game play I'm afraid. It's also a pain to travel across maps outside chases.
I would like nothing more than this be removed and bring Nurse back her basekit to what it once was. But I understand you won't do such a thing. So what about changing how the cool down functions and hopefully make both sides a bit happier?
You want the cool down to give survivors more of a chance to get away. Increasing fatigue was out of the question due to motion sickness and whatnot. What I want is to chase without breaking into a slow M1 killer and be able to move around the map without having to micro manage blinks. What about if the cool down applied to blink attacks and the time were based on how many blinks you used during the chain? This would apply to hits as well as missed swings in order to incentivize precise blinking and not blind swinging. As well it allows the Nurse to travel the map and continue chases. When the cool down is active the Nurse would be unable to blink again until it expires. This would remove the counter on her power and the cool down would apply to her whole power instead. One blink plus a swing would be 3 seconds, two blinks 6 seconds and three blinks 9 seconds.
I hope you take this into consideration from a Nurse player that enjoyed playing her and playing against her. I believe this would make the Nurse more enjoyable to play as and better as a whole.
I don't know how I could of put it any better than that. I don't believe they will revert the basekit changes. What I can hope for is a better implementation with the Devs goals in mind.
As she stands now, the cool down is breaking up chases and removing any excitement from them.
-
Issue is, a high skill ceiling killer would require having a power to justify putting a lot of time into learning it. Example being the Nurse. Then when you do reach that ceiling the killer becomes problematic to a group of people who then advocate for slight tweakes to make them
easiermore fun to play against.Oni is probable the first killer in a while to actually be fun to play. At least for me, being able to drift around the map is the fun factor. It may become stale later but lets let the novelty play out.
I do agree, for the PC version at least, the Oni's skill floor is much lower than say Billy, Huntress, and Nurse. He is easy to pick up and play and not much reason to grow from there. What could potentially happen in the near future, survivors learn a way to counter his power or to mitigate it. At that point you will be forced to increase your skill level in playing him. Just need to see in time where he stands.
-
By any means necessary.

this is bannable?
Think bhvr is more concern about removing elements like fog and corn. I won't say changing that setting is safe or not. You be better off adjusting your monitor.

No, was just in a game and after I saved a guy, and when he hit him, the killer was like 20 meters away
Yeah, normal. 🤨
