Im getting tired of toxic survivors after the Game in chat. Mod answer pls
you don´t camp, you playing fair...the weapons incoming borrowed time, Dstrike & insults, harassment and and and....(specially if you play vs SWF cheatmode players )
In my opinion, players must punish much more and much harder for insults, harassment and that crap, because they are the reason why games ( specially on purple and red ranks ) are not fun. I payed for Dead by Daylight and i was buying every DLC and i'm trying to support this game as much i can but this has nothing to do with fun for me or game experience. This is a pain for me and a lot other players too. Don´t call me ignore the chat or other stuff. No i´ts time to say something about it and not to ignore.
Example ?: Punish finally players harder if their ignore the rules ! I´ts out of control......

If someone is abusing or harassing you in chat, you can report them via the thumbs up/thumbs down button next to their name in the post-game results screen. Choose the category "Harassment - Communications Abuse".
You can also submit a support ticket at support.deadbydaylight.com under the category "Additional player report information" with screenshots of the chat to back up your report.

If someone harasses you, report them, keep in mind the in game reports are mandatory and you can send any additional evidence (like a screenshot in this case) to support here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com
So you bought the game for reading chats? If you cant stand the chat dont read it. Its your own choice.
What are you expecting? Immediate bans for everyone that's salty after a loss? If people are being jerks, report them. If you can't handle people being salty don't read chat or only play with friends. Just take pleasure in knowing you did your job as the killer.
No one has found a solution for people being jerks online. Maybe you should find a game that's not online.
OP sounds entitled if he thinks he should only get positive chat feedback. That's not how real life works.

What exactly are you looking for? Should everyone who complains about your play style be banned immediately? If they're actually saying awful things, report them, take a screenshot, and they will get banned.
You have a solution. Play with your friends and the chat will stay cordial.
Gotta say it should not be left up to BHVR to make sure nobody hurts your feels. If the words of complete strangers on the internet bother you to the point you don't enjoy the game you should look into getting to the root cause of that rather than relying on someone else to make sure everyone is nice to you.

If you leave chat open though, and see anything like a serious death threat or anything; file a report with your police department, report it, and forward the information to support as well. Legally BHVR will have to comply with the investigation; but beyond that I wouldn't put much though into it.
