What's the one thing people want to see with every new killer?
-
I think he needs really long stretchy arms outside his lunge.

It kinda explains it?
One of the challenges is to kill so many obsessions.
-
If it does get nerf it won't be until the chapter after this one.
-
Are you in the low ranks? Try killer.
-
I haven't been able to find what these killer buffs would be to justify boosting solos.
-
It used to reward failure and punish killers for doing well.

Killers dont need excuses. Killrate was over 60% even during 2016 infinite instablind instagen instaheal no hooks dstrike no exhaustion pallettown times. Basically invincible and survivors still sucked like today.
As long as boosted casuals can make it to rank 1, killers can win. Was always that way

Correct, Rank 1 is just a ceiling which given enough time all skill levels will gather. This will become more apparent once the new rank reset takes affect.
-
They said they will look into level 4. By look they mean, Yeah, that's a challenge alright.
-
Tome lvl 4, unhook 50 in one trial. ๐
-
All it takes is one survivor running in your LoS to break the challenge.

You make good points, I appreciate discussing both sides. In regards to them dropping rank or never getting above rank 12 for example because they always DC this just means new players are going to get paired with them constantly too which is not a good first impression
I would like if players that DC often get matched with other players that DC as well. The only way out of it is to not DC and deal with their teammates giving up. Hopefully that would drive home what they are doing to their own teammates and change their ways.
-
The Devs need good data and the way matches and ranks are setup, they are not getting any. There needs to be a way to messure a players skill besides kill and escape counts. If players of low skill continue to match up over time they will eventually make it to high ranks. Those same players are then matched with high skilled players and the expected outcome would occur. This gives more false data the longer the season goes as more low skill players climb the ranks on the backs of other low skilled players.
-
Time too freak out about lvl 3.

The cooldown is fine. I would rather see the following done:
- Allow the nurse to attack cancel her charged power (like every other killer)
- Make "Plaid Flannel" add on part of nurse's base kit. This allows her to see where she is blinking to.
- Make nurse automatically face a survivor if she blinks within 2 meters.
These changes would not make her overpowered, but allow her to be more accessible to more players.
Cool down is boring as ######### and forces you into one blinks in order to travel around maps. I sure do like having to look at the ground twice as often Devs! ๐
1) No, if you charge a blink you better be ready to use it. Nothing irks me more than seeing a Nurse holding M2 and looking around. You can blink at the floor if you mess up. If you blink down a level its your own fault.
2) ######### No. I don't need some flame to tell me where I'm going. A good Nurse knows how far she is going to travel. It's part of her skill set and shouldn't be circumvent to help bad players.
3) Sure remove all skill. First you want a way to tell you where your going and now want the game to point you in the right direction. Where's your 4th point where hits are automatic?

I think she's fun to play, just some of her add-ons aren't up to par.
Blink fatigue wait, blink fatigue wait, blink fatigue wait. Having fun yet?

A lot of team games do punish you for things like AFK or sandbagging they team. It is a mindset thing, sometimes consequences are the only way to make something rethink or change their mindset.
If people wanna run at the killer and eat in immediate hook, try three times to escape and then die during struggle at least this keeps their character alive a bit longer to slow the killer down and help their team. Ten seconds to carry you to the unhook and then a minute in the struggle phase at least buys the team 70 seconds.
Correct some games do punish AFK and sandbagging. To some extent so does DBD. AFK is easy to point out but it still takes several games for BHVR to punish this behavior. Sandbagging is harder to point out as it is normal in this game to unintentionally sandbag your teammates. So unless they're a streamer stating on stream they are sandbagging its hard to see BHVR doing anything about it.
A player who begins to hook suicide after DC timeouts are put in place and does so nearly every game are going to stop playing eventually. Forcing them to play a match won't force them to play well. It would be better for those types to drop in rank or get too bored of the game and move on.
Now as a killer, if I see someone run up to me wanting to get an early exit I will slug them and continue my patrol. If they DC at least they are now counted as such.

Do you get banned in other games for refusing to play i know overwatch and cod throwing is a bannable offense. Idrk about this game.
What is the difference in throwing and being bad? I see survivors playing how they should but make bad decisions that could be seen as throwing the match. Farming someone off the hook without BT. Should we consider this griefing? Maybe their plan was to swap places or take the hit. Maybe they didn't like you searching that basement chest and wanted to get you killed. To an outside observer how could you tell?
As far as banning players not "playing" (which is only been specified as being AFK) requires several instances in order for a temp ban.

This is also a team based game where we need all we can get if the guy kills himself on 1st hook like instantly we may have all the gens left with the 3 of us which is already a kinda big disadvantage if you dont wanna be a teamplayer and be selfish why even play? (This is personally my philosophy since i help other survivors whenever i can)
So you would force someone to struggle on the hook for the team. Should we also prevent kobe attempts? How about if the survivor refuses to work on gens or works on gens but blows every skill check? What's stopping them from running up to the killer and teabagging?
I understand you want good teammates but you cannot force them to be good teammates. You have to deal with what the choices you and your teammates make.
If a player doesn't want to play they shouldn't be playing. It's a mindset issue not a game issue.
-
I've seen matches where the killer barely gets any hooks before the doors are powered, downs a survivor, and the other three survivors suicide trying to save them.
There's no incentive to survive. You can die and still pip or double pip (depending on the rank). This means survivors are more willing make risky plays at the end of matches.

Even if it screws their team and drags them down with them? if i get camped i tell my team rush those gens ive saved you a good bit of time. Infact if my friends have bnp i kinda wanna be caught.
Yes
This is not a game of handholding and forced behavior.
-
Survivors should have the choice to struggle or give up.
-
Just the Tome 1 lvl 3

My suggestions was to give her Legion's blinders during fatigue. At this point though, I just want the 2nd cool down removed.

Where did the key come from?

People ask for nerf Hillbilly but he is one of oldest killers. What happened? now it's OP and it didn't 2 years ago?
He was 2 years ago. He was the first killer with an insta down and his map presence is still one of the best in the game. Imagine what it was like back then and the outcry that occured. Devs had to come out and say they weren't changing Billy's ability to stop most of it.
Only reason people tolerate him now was because of Nurse taking the top position. When the rework for his addons comes around I'm expecting those that hate Billy will become more vocal.
-
It used to be a pure white screen.
-
Well if you're going to call him out on it. Peanits has stated they don't like releasing stats because everyone would have a different interpretation and just cause issues.
One of the reasons they don't post them often but the community always wants to see them.
-
I like how the Nurse is low on the bar because of being harder to play. But for those that play her well we needed our legs broken to keep us from overperforming.
Blink fatigue wait, blink fatigue wait, blink fatigue wait. exhale Balanced.

* Camping
* Slugging

Just the Camping and Tunneling ones. The Forced DS and teabagging at exit gates are valid non-punishable offenses.

Why do you suggest i want long queues?
There are more survivors waiting for lobbies than killers can fill. Which show a lack of killers playing.
This will change next week when everyone wants to try out Oni.
-
The Survivor Rulebook says it is punishable.
Where are you getting this information?

A makeover probably would help.

There's more to it indeed, but not much.
Besides, these numbers are apparently not even a big factor, just A factor, noted by Peanits multiple times.
Other factors: DC rate and community outcry.

Is there a Pretty Good Job category?

Wiggle DS could be worst than normal at times.
DS is in a better place than it was before.
