Ok, but there's a chance to avoid them.
Prayer beads....are uncounterable, unless you use spine chill or premonition.
well, you just listed possible counters right there xD
other than that, if you are working on a gen and you think she might be phasing with prayer beads, gentap. that way she'll hit you instead of pulling you off.
-
personally, i'd use the shards for cosmetics.
though, if you wish to purchase something on the shrine, i'd wait for the perks to appear from chapters you dont own.
i wouldnt cash in shards for bloodpoints anymore, since, like i said, there are also cosmetics available for them now.
-
as long as my mates dont DC out of the game all the time, i dont rly mind playing solo.
-
the current hitboxes are just ridiculous.
though, honestly i wouldnt see that one as a buff, rather a fix.
if we were to buff him, LET HIM START WITH ALL HIS TRAPS!
i'd take the fix over the buff though.

This is what people don't understand. Ultra rare doesn't mean it's allowed to be overpowered. Same thing with keys and Red Syringes. They're NOT IN EVERY MATCH. But those damn times where they bring 2/3 of them you ask yourself: " Ehm....hello? Balance? Gen rush? "Get out of jail" free items?
thats where you are wrong though.
ultra rare = game changer.
that comes hand in hand with OP. just look at Trappers bloody coil + iridescent stone combo: it makes beartraps really, really strong. you cant disarm them, since you'd just injure yourself and they would reset automatically anyway, which basically makes them untouchable for you.
very rare should just be a buff to the base power, so prayer beads bracklet, which comepletely changes the way the character plays, should be ultra rare instead, as it provides a lot more than just a buff.
-
i certainly wouldnt mind that.
its not like it would change anything gameplay wise - though his fangirls will probaply never agree to that xD

honestly, change prayer beads into an ultra rare and degrade on of the others (maybe the ring?) to very rare and it'd be fine imo.
but yeah, its too strong for a very rare add on.

i usually say 'gg' in the end chat.
i dont really care weather it was a good game or not, i just say it to be nice and friendly.
still get salt lol

I wonder who'd get the Legion skin. Joey's the most likely, as he's the purple rank cosmetic, which is the same cost as the event cosmetics, but Susie's base mask feels like it would be better, while at the same time, Frank is the Legionnaire you see in promotional art all the time. And we can't forget to throw Julie into the equation.
I'd also love to see what they could do for Hag, who's been in the game forever, but has like, 10 cosmetics in the store. Spirit is another cool one.
And Ghost Face and Pig aren't completely ruled out either, as their license holders have shown a bit of leeway in allowing skins for them. Unlikely, but not impossible. Same for Demogorgon, but they're just too recent to get a skin, at least in my opinion.
EDIT: Oh yeah... forgot about the leak when I typed this.
regarding the legion question, i guess it'd be a frank cosmetic, as the hallowed blight cosmetics always try to "reskin" the base skin of the killer, so joey and susie are probaply out of the picture.
still, i'd pick frank, as he is the face of the group. julie is like a secondary option.
for ghostface and pig i doubt we'll ever get them, as they usually look drastically different from the base skin of the killer, so the license holders would have to agree to change their character into something no one is going to see as their movie killer anymore.
unlikely, but possible.
-
pig confirmed to be the first 50% movementspeed killer?
i mean, she can dash and all...
-
its a legitimate strategy.
-
eeny meeny miny moe
trapper is way too low
seriously though, he should move up one tier.
-
hard to decide between a broken power (in a negative way, like "not working correctly") and a useless power...
at least legion can be decent with thanatophobia and could theoretically instadown anyone / injure them immensly fast, so i gotte place him sliiighly above bubba.
honestly, you cant play bubba against decent survivors without speed add ons. he's nothing but a M1 killer at that point.
-
cant wait until they release the official artwork for shirtless myers :D
-
ace in the hole + plunderers instinct and two perks of your choise.
its fun, you play the game depending on what you loot from the chests ^^
-
honestly, the perk has the potential to be one of the, if not the strongest killer perk of them all, IF they buff it right.
like, a number increase and having it apply to every hook would be enough to make it actually really good.
-
still hidden in Area 51.
a shame...
-
IF i heal myself, i let a mate do it, so it doesnt take long.
otherwise its gonne be with adrenaline

You can, but you have 0.3 second less than you would normally think.
The buffer time is small, but very important
dude i literally ran behind cover when the music started playing.
he revealed me when i was already around the corner of the killershack (while he was inside of it).
you should not be able to be revealed through a wall, periode.
yes he cought a glimpse of me before, though i ran into cover when he started revealing, which should stop the process.
i just rewatched it again and while he revealed me i was literally less than a second in his FoV. it took me ~1 second to notice the music and run behind cover and it wasnt enough, he then revealed me even though he had lost the LoS to me for ~2 seconds.
in that scenario it didnt really matter, though it can be very frustrating when that happens during the game.
but maybe you're right, maybe it was the music that didnt go off at the right time, who knows? though you cant deny that this reveal looked like it should not have revealed me.

So you know you're actually revealing him. It's a small part of the screen.
It ain't bs just because you think it looks like bs
for the killer.
why am i getting a notification i am getting revealed, when i cant even dodge it?
-
i was super close to select adrenawin, though i remembered how deadharding for distance can increase loops immensly, so i gave my vote to that one instead.
also, deadhard is not a one time only thing.

All the hallowed blight skins have been leaked already, its plague spirit hag and clown, I personally don't like most of them, I think they're a lot worse than last years.
i noticed.
though this post was made on september 22nd, at which said leaks were not revealed yet.
honestly, i find clown and spirit to look sick. hag also looks great, though plague... did they even change anything? xD

It was... gf was on the "center" of his screen for at least 1.2 seconds. There's a 0.3 second buffer where even if gf hides he can still get revealed. Leading to looking like he was revealed through a wall
if THAT was justified, they could also just remove the music clue alltogether.
why even give it, when you'll be broken out no matter what?
like, im sorry but that reveal looked like BS on both sides.

Ruin, the most used killer perk in this game - for a good reason.
while i think it could be a little stronger, i find it to be all but overpowered. the thing with Ruin is, that it is a Hex perk, which means it is removable from the game entirely by the survivors, if they cleanse the totem. that massive downside justifies the stregth of Hex perks, as they are supposed to be a huge influence on the game, as long as the totem is active.
the main problem with ruin is actually, how easily it can be avoided - hitting great skillchecks is not that hard, especially if you, like your friend, put some time into the game.
honestly, imo the perk is not really worth running, though i do understand why so many players do pick it: gen times.
especially in higher ranks, generators are done way too quickly, leaving the killer pretty much no time to do anything. i am not joking when i say that there are games that are over within 5 minutes with a survivor victory, which is honestly just absurd. and to prevent that killers choose ruin as their perk of choice to slow down the early game, as this is where they have no pressure and the most gens get done at once (usually 3 within 70 - 90 seconds).
if you want to counter ruin, here are 3 things you can do:
1) power through the gen. dont waste your time by searching the totem, just power through and practise hitting the great skillchecks. important when you try to do this is, that you do NOT work with multiple players on the same gen!
2) search the totem. thats the most common one and honestly, its not that hard. in the end its all just your map knowledge and you remembering the totem spots.
3) gen tapping. i hate myself for suggesting this, but this is a legitimate strategy after all, so... if you continuously start and stop working on the gen, you prevent it from giving you skillchecks. please note though, that this will lead to you wasting more time than normal with the gen repair and that its the least skilled play you could do.
-
unplayed killers?
quite a lot actually.
its very rare to actually find a clown, legion or bubba player, in high ranks even more.
other killers like trapper, demogorgon and pig also dont see much play, though they are not that rare to find, especially in lower ranks. though, their numbers will decrease again when you hit high ranks.

maybe it seemed like that to you because you didn't see the actual survivor that did it. i have to say both gfhostface and spirit are annoying!
watch at 1:09:50 and tell me that reveal was justified.
-
the repair time is fine the way it is, we dont want this to be a M1 simulator for survivors.
though there has to be something new - and fun - added for survivors to do, in order to slow the game down.
like finding parts for the gens or completing little minigames before you are able to start working on the generator. stuff like that, that slows down the game but also doesnt make it boring.
-
honestly, ruin itself is fine.
it does its job and it does it well.
the only thing that needs changes would be totem spots, though that has nothing to do with the perk itself, its a thing that affects all totem perks the same.
-
ye, the last hallowed blight cosmetics didnt seem very special, as they were available afterwards anyway, so you didnt even have to participate during the event.
imo they should be restricted to the halloween event (and maybe a special sale outside of it), but not always be available.
i mean, they can still bring them back in tthe next halloween event, so players who missed them can still obtain them - just that its limited to the event periode.
-
every add on stacks, unless it explicitly says "does not stack" in the add on description.
at least thats how it should be.

Ooohhh, what if the water slowed you a bit while waist deep in it or something? I've been wanting maps with unique mechanics for a while now
Though for it to only be waist deep it'd probably qualify more as a pond. I wonder how hard a full lake would be to apply
i thought the same!
it'd have to slow down killers and survivors though, otherwise it'd be a little unfair (unless there were little isles in it that would allow for normal walking / running speed, so its dangerous to go into the water, though you arent forced to run through it for the next 20 minutes to get from A to B, but actually had some land with a few ruins on it)
-
it also works the other way around though...
its not very uncommon for me to get revealed even when i'm standing behind a wall, just because they cought a glimpse of me for a second.
-
FINALLY someone placed trapper in a spot he deserves!
i see soooo many tier lists where he is F tier or one of the 3 worst killers... like, use the traps correctly and you can have an insane amount of pressure and lethality.
-
no one said it wasnt.
we just say there dont need to be more punishments for it.
-
swimming trunks Clown
we need this.
#MakeDbDSexyAgain
-
i mean...
he can enter a 0 terror radius + 0 red stain state whenever he wants...
for him its super easy to get early, unexpected stabs
-
i always wanted a MacMillan themed map with a lake in the middle and a hill on one side you can walk up to.
of course it wouldnt be a deep lake, so you can still walk through the water.
-
its not like we could do anything against it, so who cares? xD

You want a stronger Doctor? Alright, I’ll give you one:
- Increase shock therapy range by at least 25%. The current base range is ridiculously small to the point where you won't even want to use it because you'll be in M1 range. Adjust range add-ons to compensate for this buff if necessary.
- Increase movement while charging up the shock to at least 105%. He can lose a lot of distance from just trying to use his shocks. Currently he moves at 85% speed while charging up the shock, which is way too low.
- Remove the shock delay. This is just dumb, I really don't understand why it exists in its current state. Is it to give Survivors a good chance to dodge the shock?
- Significantly shorten or remove the transition between switching modes.
- Add the illusionary pallets to his base kit. They would spawn within an unlimited range of the Doctor every 20 seconds (like the current version of the Very Rare Order add-on).
- Have the Order series of add-ons either buff the illusionary pallets somehow (maybe let the Survivor drop them if they’re standing) or do something new instead (like have the illusions perform some kind of action).
- This one is just personal (I'm not even sure if it's true), but the illusions shouldn't spawn on a different floor than the Survivor they're tracking on multi-floored maps like The Game. It's really annoying to check one floor because of the illusion and then find nothing because the Survivor was actually on the other floor.
- New Ultra Rare add-on: Dr. Otto Stamper’s Files. The static field becomes map wide and shock therapy range is increased by 50% but the charge time is slightly increased (10%). This will not stack with the Order add-ons (they increase madness gained from the static field). Most of this idea came from @Mister_xD.
There you go. Super strong Doctor.
i especially like your last point.
seems like a great idea in my eyes!

NOOOOOOOOOO
welp, guess we'll have to rely on the community now.
dont disappoint us, fog travelers!
do your best!

darn...
alright, time to make new forum accounts to keep this a steady 69!
(just kidding)
-
to play: Claudette
to face: Dweet
-
lets face it:
demogorgon is a good boi, a Xenomorph would be too.
it would just increase the amount of pettable killers!
-
imo Ghostface is better, as you can control when you want to go into stealth and when not.
really helps with mindgames.
plus michael has a rather slow start which usually leads to me getting genrushed, GF can just immediately start with no unwanted delays.
