I think it will be Meg. I bet my all money on her.

No, M&A only affects the Terror Radius, so in her stealth mode you'll be able to hear her from 24 meter radius no matter what (unless you use her add-on that shrinks that radius) even with M&A, but once outside of the stelth mode, M&A will work.
So it will not be strong on her like on old Deathslinger or Myers. But i learned she has lullaby with patch notes. I did not noticed on PTB.

They made a good decision. I am really happy with these buffs. I cannot wait to use monitor and abuse on another killer besides Myers. Well, after the Deathslinger incident... Anyway.
She has lullaby, will Monitor work?

My major complain are her TVs cooldowns being insanely long + that stack up insta kill ability is almost worthless.
TVs cooldowns should be at least 50% shorter (30s for Survivor using TV, 50s for Teleport to a TV).
I would prefer if the Condement (insta kill) effect generates slowly over the time after you been hit once by a TV from a teleport. This would force people at least once a match go for some short side objective.
I actually would not change cool-down for survivor using TV. They should get a stack every 20 seconds. So this will make them to get rid of tapes as fast as they can. And this will be good second objective for survivors. But Sadako's cooldown should be shorter for sure. 100 seconds are just so long. 50 seconds would be better. Maybe 60 seconds?

Artist is fine. Her swarm of crows need a change because they aren't that great, but other than that she's fine.

Idk I play Pyramid Head and do okay mostly
There's a couple loops he struggles on but even then you can do fancy things survivors don't expect.
It was not problem when i play Nemesis. But i started play Demo too, he is also so fun. But when i play on this map, i wanna just give up with Demo.

I love the Game. I just throw pallets at will and get 3 gen runs minimal.
Yeah you don't even need to loop. Shift W and drop pallet.
I don't know who thought it is good idea to making map with a million pallets.

The changes they have proposed are just Qol, they aren't major in any way, shape, or form which is what she needed to not be a D-tier killer. The condemned effect will still pose zero threat. She is basically being released as she was in PTB, not hard to see that.
This is why they added note. They will look her. I think she needs another buffs. Television cool-downs are so long. This needs to change.
-
Can we stop judge everything that early please. We did not even try new changes yet. And they said they will look her and if she needs, they will buff her again.
-
Camping yes, tunnelling no.
Also if you camp survivors smartly, camping is also good.
-
Nobody can take throne from Bubba lol. Bubba is still best camper & tunneller.
-
Same reason with Hag. Boring. Her power is just makes me sleep when i play her.
-
More Nemesis, More Fun.
Starsssssssssssssssssssssss
-
Game or everything is not survivorside.
-
Simple, remove distance. Now it will save you from hit. But it will be weak after this change right? So now it will give you 150% movement speed for 3 seconds. So if you make killer miss hit, you will be rewarded.
Perk will reward you for playing smart. Plus killer can bait you, so there is counterplay. But it is not third health state anymore. Balanced.
-
@UnknownKiller said:
And will keep being weak.
Lets try her before judge right?

Nice. She is cute and power was fun. I hope this changes makes her good spot. I can't wait for try :)

BT needs only one change. If bodyblock removes, BT will be one of the most balanced perk.
For now, if you bodyblock me with BT, i will hunt you down again.

Not just tunnel. Big bad guy also hits me on hook and shaking head.
Don't ignore other parts.

If killer tunnel me from start and hit me on hook, yeah i will tea-bag at gate. You reap what you sow.
But i don't like be toxic to normal players. Just some exceptions

I think it is currently a good game but there are some things that hold it back from being a great game. New content is great but i want to see more from mid-chapter updates. I want the mori and key rework. I want more perk variety. I want them to address the grind.
Yeah same, remember the mid-chapter they buffed Trapper and Plague, nerfed Slinger and Spirit. And plus so many killer add-ons, perk changes for both sides. It was great mid-chapter. If we are waiting 3 months for them, they should be good like this. Or every month smaller updates.
But it's failing to make real its potential, that's the sad part.

the game has issue that should be prioritise but the dev either don't focus on the issue or just ignore it till it get to a level.
it been months since I've played it and I been playing it for awhile till VHS comes back online (it was attacked nearly 2 weeks ago)
I am not playing so much either. I spent 2k hours on game but last months probably i played max 100-150 hours. This is nothing.

We that’s unfortunate. The game shines when you play with friends. I’m praying that the anniversary chapter is a success. Also when are they gonna reduce the grind. They said they were in October and still nada
Yeah grind is on other hand. I stopped excited for new chapters. Because levelling them will take hours. I am sure devs are cares game and they are trying their best but they are so slow.
-
@ThiccBudhha said:
No, it will not, survivors aren't keen enough to use it. I would be worried if they were, but the first impressions of the perk told me all I needed to know. It is not perceived valuable enough even if it would hard carry them. Luckily hubris comes in clutch once again.
I am actually gonna use it. I will use it with Smash Hit. It seem good combo. And maybe i will add Quick and Quiet too.

Time it takes to do so is the difficulty, basically in any games.

But maybe it can be hard for people who have not so much time.

It can be easy, it can be hard.
As long as you are consistently matching against competent survivors, that is hard.
It's nice if this is not hard for you, but there is countless factor that can make it harder.
I don't know what do you mean with competent survivors. But worst survivors i face have totem 1k hours.
And no, grades does not need skill. It needs game-time, that's all. If you play long enough, you can get irri with both roles. So there is not easy or hard. You just need to spend time.
-
Well how this is BHVR's fault? You are playing SWF, even your teammates are not good but you are SWF. So SWF is looking your SBMM levels and then you guys are facing with high-average killer.
What you can do? They are your family, so teach them game. Nobody is perfect at start but they will get good.
-
@fulltonon said:
Yes, piping up as killer is unbelievably hard unless you are noobstomping every match.
Play in time of the day where most players are outright bad, or else you'd need to be extremely skilled.
It is not hard. When i play this game actively, it is not hard to get Irri 1 with both roles.
-
30 hours now, i need to kill more. More boss fights.

If they wanna give something to community, most of all wants to fix grind, hacker and balance issues. They can make which chapters they wanna. Chapters will not fix problems.

No, never.
It is not that simple.

Boons should have a smaller range (16m maybe) and they should go into cool down when the killer snuffs them (45-60 seconds?).
I also don't think that all boons need to have the same range (and cool down if that's implemented)
Range will not fix problem.

The more I play a killer, the more their weakness sticks out. Survivors can completely deny Artist's power by just holding forward. Even when they choose to play it risky and loop you when you're setting up crows, they know the game is just gonna bail them out anyway, giving them just the crows instead of the full health state because a tiny little thing was sticking out in its way. She needs favorable loop design, and most maps don't give her that.
This is why you need to catch survivor first with one crow. So now they are not safe even they start swarm. You have enough time to put next crows and hit. And it is not easy to dodge them. This is how you are playing against shift holders as Artist.
If they stay on loop, it is better because they have so little chance.

@Hex_Ignored said:
But CoH got a HUGE nerf last patch. It is now perfectly balanced because self healing takes ~2 seconds longer
It should be destroyable or heal speed bonus go. So it will be free Self-Care for all team or it will be strong but destroyable. This is only way to balance CoH.

I could see her potential before she even released, and somehow it was less than projected. She cannot reliably damage you from across the map like we thought she could. It's too much resource investment and too luck based. And no, it's not easy to hit survivors through walls. You may hit them once with it, but as soon as you start placing the second set, they'll just haul to the left or right, making it almost impossible for you to hit them a second time. They can see the auras of your birds coming too, so they can dodge even if you launch it right to them. Survivors can also instantly get crows off with lockers, and that especially helps if there's a locker right next to the gen they're on. I'm not saying I haven't had success with her. She's just one of those killers where you go against 1 good SWF and you're done. I'm trying to explain to people that there are killers that can be "strong", but that are not OP and can't beat a good SWF. Wraith was one such killer, and he still got nerfed. Artist is next in the near future I think.
Maybe you should talk for yourself. I have not problem to hit survivors at loops. I mean sniping is hard, sure. But i can zone-out them with my crows. And they can try dodge ofcourse but they need to dodge 3 crows. Artist has more chance for hit.
Her power is like kinda Nurse. If you are good with her, she is monster. If you are not, she is M1 killer.
Strong SWFs are destroying Nurse and Blight too if this is case? How many SWFs are that strong?

She could never be stronger than Blight or Nurse unless they were massively nerfed. She needs to hit birds 2 times through walls to damage survivors that way, which is just based on lucky guesses of where the survivors are gonna go. Whenever she sets up a bird, survivors just run away from the loop. On a technicality, you can't use your birds around the hooked person even when you're not meaning to camp. If there's a tiny obstacle sticking out, it won't count your bird as a direct hit. The killer's instinct detection range needs a bit of work. She's overrated. A tier at best, but again cannot be on the same level as Nurse and Blight.
You are clearly so bad with Artist. She is fine. And it is not hard to hit survivor behind walls. First catch survivor with one crow. And when they are swarming put your other 2 or 3 crows. Cool-down is not long for one crow, so you have enough time to put second crows. And then hit. If you put crows smartly (not random) it is clear hit.
And plus you can push survivors to leave strong loops. You can make survivors leave gen with crows. Strong anti-loop and strong gen pressure. She does not need anything more.

Yes. We already have some dead characters.
Bill, Amanda, Tapp, Nemesis

What is wrong with Henry, he is cool guy too!
But i wanna Angela Orosco first, it is so suck we had not 2 survivors with Silent Hill chapter. So probably all character skins will not add to game or they will come so slowly.

No we are not overreacting.
Those who want both perks to change have good and logical reasons.

Elden Ring is not good start to Souls games. I mean i loved but if you really wanna play From Software games, start with Dark Souls 1.
And Martin just created main character and some parts of lore, not full world. And souls games have not good story presentation, Elden Ring does not look different. People are playing this games because they are challenging our gamer skills. Great combat, great enemies and ofcourse perfect map designs.I never played any soul game for storyline even they have interesting lore.
So don't expect good storyline like Game of Thrones.

I am sorry, you really think that you can find a Survivor, win the chase, down them, pick them up, carry them to a hook, hook them, AND camp them to DEATH...
...in 120 seconds?!
Yeah? Bubba can do this. One survivor died, you still have your hex totem and you have 3 survivors now. Hex totems are alright, they does not need change.
But totem spawns should fix, they should be hidden better.
-
@Adaez said:

Yeah because you can control the rng of the totem spawns that 90% spawn right in front of the survivors.
This is how high risk high reward works. Sometimes you have great value, sometimes you won't. This is how hex totems works. If you don't like it, don't bring them. We don't have one type perks. So i am sure you can find some perks you like.
-
Didn't they say they flex the MMR so that new players don't match up with veteran players?
Another pretty good job so far case?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Personally I would rather survivors to just leave
But then again I am a fairly good player at Billy, so I can understand the people only trying to do dailies/challenges would rather survivors stay for a knock-down.
I am waiting to see my all team are safe. So then i am just leaving. If they need my help, i am going to hook save or bodyblock for them before leave. I don't like to wait and t-bag killers at gate. It is just time waste for everyone.

Let's hope the next big license chapter isn't a disaster like the RE one (with the map being deactivated for several weeks) and manages to contain more of the hyped playerbase.
Yeah we all BHVR'ed and RE is probably biggest license DbD has. At least last 2 chapters were okey, game had not any big bug. Do you remember pallet bugs with Trickster chapter. And RE chapter broke game for old gen consoles. They did not do same mistake with Pinhead and Artist at least.
