It's really a combination of who they are and how they play.
Some killers feel scummy, some playstyles are definitely scummy. Some killers benefit from playing scummy more than others. Survivors associate killers they feel play scummy as scummy players automatically, even if they're a completely different person on a completely different map.
People liked Pyramid Head because it was hard for him to be scummy, and on top he's also a scary killer with a healthy power. (im sure there are those who disagree, but can you *really* complain about being sent to the opposite side of the map?)
I dont have very many positive experiences with Pig, so i'm not delighted to see her too often. Most killers i see using Pig just tunnel the ones with the trap until they're dead, and we hate to see that.

yeah...that was a few hours ago, before i got off for the night.
See you tomorrow!
-
80%, hard to know the name of the gang of a survivor you don't even own.
The survivor items question also completely baffled me, I did not understand the context of what it was asking.

Going to be honest mate, it's a tactic, and aslong as the team isn't over altruistic, it doesn't work.
The devs have said before that they've got no intentions on changing camping.
actually, they've said that they want camping to be a bad strategy, and if they believe camping is not actually a bad strategy, they will work to change it
-
I never understood Sprint Burst, I don't want to be walking around all game just so i can get a moderate advantage when the killer decides to chase me.
-
charms are dumb, it's true.
I still would like to dress as i please, however.

because Legions challenges require him to do well, Survivor challenges usually result in you doing things in a suboptimal manner so that you can finish things in one go.
So when legions and survivors both have challenges to do, chaos ensues and legion just thrives in the disaster.
also Discordance is Legions perk and there are numerous co-op challenges for survivors to complete, further making survivors suffer.
-
Can we also get Daiquiri gens and BBQ hooks back too? Fun times man...fun times.
-
I wont at first. I already have a build that circumvents it, but still gives enough information so that I'm not screwed by not taking it and also always working even if i Cage.
-
We're Gonna Live Forever: I mean, it quite literally does nothing
Boil Over: I have never escaped solely due to this perk, nor has it deterred me when I'm killer.
Up the Ante: honestly,i forgot this existed and had to look it up. Luck does practically nothing for a team.
Sole Survivor: Ew. Waiting for others to die is guh-ross.
No Mither: I'm sure Spirit and Oni appreciate these players...really all killers.
Deja Vu: If you need to perk to tell you not to 3-gen strat yourself, there is an issue.
Slippery Meat: Lewd, but its definitely better to let someone else get you off. or just use deliverence.
I could go on, but thats too much text for one post

Every window is a free shot for Deathslinger and Huntress, you just can't easily survey the area and get hits just cause there's nowhere to hide.
The hallways are even easier, forcing the survivor to move straight.
One-shot killers get free downs if the survivor corners themselves, and to no ones surprise, there are a ton of corners.
-
a true rank 20 match. Level 1 Meg runs in a straight line against The Huntress.
-
this is goofy enough to be perfect for DBD.
-
I would also like to know, as far as I know its been a thing since before DD servers
-
if i see 4 items period I'm bringing Franklin's
more likely than not someone will die trying to retrieve their item and most will try to pick it back up, spending time that should be on gens.

Have YOU ever tried climbing down a dark hatch while your mind was unraveling??
I mean you literally just fall, if you were insane you would plunge straight into darkness too

I just discovered this yesterday, I was like: "Is this man aiming?" and then dipped out before he could fire straight into my soul
-
Considering the impact new graphics would have on current gen consoles, I'm assuming they're holding off all new and upgraded assets for the release of PS5 / X-Box Series X
This way, they can apply improved visuals more liberally, without having consoles churn like molasses trying to play the game.
-
Furtive Chase: The effect of Furtive Chase now lasts for 15 seconds after a chase ends. Furtive Chase is no longer disabled if the obsession is sacrificed.
-
Of course its aiding the killer...
Reflecting on your match, did you do anything that may have upset the survivor who ratted you out? (led the killer to them even on accident, were consistently chased around their location and stayed there knowingly, messed up a skillcheck alongside them)
In a (1v1v1v1) v 1 game, you have to be careful not to upset the only people you have keeping the ship afloat, and are key to your survival
-
And despite being knowledgeable about the bugs, every Tome has included grab challenges.
-
Welcome back, everyone that said they were going to quit.
-
You faced people with higher ranks and were full perk build, It's not entirely your fault, but you should definitely learn from your mistakes that game because that's nowhere near the worst you will ever face, I can assure you.
To start off, let's talk about the fact that 2 of the survivors have We're Gonna Live Forever, a perk that does absolutely nothing?
On top of that, 2 survivors did not even bring items. Flashlights are almost entirely avoidable, and sometimes give you free hits if the other survivor is clumsy.
2 players had Borrowed Time, which wouldn't be an issue if you were pressuring gens instead of tunneling the survivor off the hook. Even then, you can just stealth and avoid Borrowed Time completely.
Any Means necessary does nothing if you break every pallet. You should not leave strong pallets around regardless.
Unbreakable would do nothing if you do not decide to slug the survivor who has it.
You did not have Nurse's Calling maxed out, already, your build is crippled in comparison to others who do.
You brought NOED, a perk that can be avoided, and needs 5 gens to be completed for it to take effect.
Corrupt Intervention is useless if you cannot apply pressure
I personally don't see the issue in this match if we're just judging things based on the endgame screen. You could've brought a Mori as easily as a survivor could've brought a key. In fact, considering you can see survivors items, you could have equipped a Mori in response to the key. There is no shortage of mori's i can promise you that.
-
Survivor perks wont change as long as the superior killer tactics remain as scummy as always. ( I would know, I play killer too)
Pyramid Head is the only killer to break the abusive chain with a power that actively discourages tunneling the same survivor and then camping them.
the main killer perks are so powerful the only perks to ever replace the usual have been Pop (after a major buff) and Corrupt Intervention for having a major effect on the match without external input.
-
Are we gonna be here...all day?
-
I do not understand why this continues to return.
Everyone knows that any survivor that is stuck in Endgame will more than likely die if the killer is competent and is actively engaging in chase with them or they are the last survivor remaining.
Therefore, If the killer was unable to stop the remaining survivor(s) from 99'ing the gate, then that means that the killer has let the survivor live all the way up to that exact moment. Why would the killer suddenly gain leverage after failing to perform throughout the entire match? (wont even bring up NOED)
-
if you come in my match with self-care and you're the reason a gen doesn't get done or a survivor isn't being unhooked, just know, that me and my friends will willingly let you bleed out on the ground or the hook.
-
I dont think survivors spend 4+ minutes waiting for a lobby, to then spend 4 minutes helplessly on the floor. I don't know who thinks that this "gameplay" is okay, or that people would actually want to play a game where this is possible.
-
So the dude just cuts out all his mistakes to make it seem like survivors are un-chaseable in every possible situation ever?
seems typical.
-
omg this is the most obvious hack job i've ever seen in my life, they weren't even trying to hide it. My favorite part was her flying above the corn.
-
you're not alone, I've definitely seen myself and others use Dead Hard*, then get downed while stuttering on the floor and becoming exhuasted.
-
Killers really want the game to be as easy as possible, huh.
Killers cameras are locked when they're performing actions because they are in FIRST PERSON .

Red Line = Claim, Circle = Don't claim
appreciated!

I like my ears, no thank you.
-
Since you have barbed wire all around you, I think it should make performing actions more difficult.
Skill check size is reduced by x% while Tormented
-
I dont wanna pip, so no. :(
-
Can confirm, have murdered people this way and have been murdered this way as well.
-
Killers need to be rewarded for using their power, not for NOT using their power. He'll be legion 2.0 if they actually considered that as a change.
-
hide all offerings, hide all items. Now, nobody can run away.
-
It would help if perks were shown in the lobby like in DBD mobile, but this as well would make it super clear
-
You literally barely see whats going on in first person, its boring as all hell and honestly the old first person mori's should be replaced entirely.
-
Then she literally just blinks past a vault or pallet whenever she wants to
thats a no.
-
This would be Old Tinkerer 2.0
It was impossible for BHVR to balance the game according to one perk, the affect would vary from power to power, breaking some killers while only moderately helping others
-
Yeah, I'm sure I totally couldnt just mori people for a month straight if i wanted to
that would definitely be impossible, because its so rare.
-
Red. It means Red.
-
Damn, can we respect the winner please?
It's a nice design and it won because people liked it.
If people wanted a nerdy looking claudette, that would have won. it didn't. people wont want it. nothing more needs to be said.
-
isnt the point of a skin to vary off from the personality of the survivor?
Some people like looking attractive in a match, that is why shirtless david was such a hit.

How about: make the noise less annoying?
you're right, Premonition is an example of a perk that has a unique sound that pairs well with the theme of the perk
Maybe Discordance could be changed to have a specific sound to convey that gens are being repaired quickly from far away
-
thats no joke, 4 seconds is way more than enough to mean the difference between a survivor vaulting/throwing a pallet and the chase being ended early.
