As long as we get at least a skin for RE5 Chris Redfield, im cool.
-
It is rather strange that if they cant get the likeness, they just make them look absolutely atrocious.
-
why are people still talking about this? If you spend MONEY on a person, perk, ability, literally anything in **any** game KNOWING it was overpowered, then thats on YOU.
Live Games get balanced, you knew it was unbalanced, it was your fault that you spent money on something that would not remain in the same state for the entirety of its existence.
-
its funny how one side perceives the actions of the others
For survivors, mostly, its celebratory and has not really much to do with the killer or their feelings at all. its not teabagging, but butt dancing. They're just happy that they were able to escape the trial. They have no other way of showing happiness in the game, the point would seem even more toxic.
As a killer, it seems like their sole intent is to see your soul broken and destroyed, to make you feel like you are worthless and that you will never amount to anything as a killer.
Don't read too much into it, if you're upset, and the survivors actually wanted to upset you to the point where you write a forum post about it, then you lost twice in a row.
-
Its so funny, you can play a fair game, only say gg, then when you look back at chat after staring at perks or your emblems, you come back to slurs, homophobic remarks, and all kinds of foolishness.
One time I had a dude stalk my steam profile to find things to harass me about. Girl I wont get offended by anything that's on my steam profile, I put it up there on purpose.
-
If you had the option of being downed on the floor for 60 seconds or running into a locker so you can actually do something, which would you choose?
-
I was not the only one that noticed she was travelling faster than normal? good.
-
The Left for Dead skins that Claudette and Dwight have could instead be legendary skins where they become the actual characters.
-
Because the game is balanced around 2 kills, once more than two people have died, its supposed have a fallback mechanic so that a survivor has a chance of escaping.
-
As to what basically everyone said, a survivor that is forced to open a gate during the Endgame collapse is at such a disadvantage, that there is little they can do to influence whether or not they are going to survive.
-
Azarov's Resting Place is literally so easy to win with as killer, if the survivors are pressured to work only on one side, they're screwed with the 3 gen strat after.
You must remember that gens are the survivors only goal and you need to protect them, not chase survivors.
-
There is no saving Meg, as it should be.
(although they did make Bill more handsome, so lets see)
-
Love people that justify toxicity, must be toxic themselves. It's like the people that tried to justify basement body blocking, or Mori Cancelling. Nothing good came from either and now they're both gone.
It doesnt matter if its effective or not effective, whether or not you should be annoyed.
The whole flashlight clicking breaks the immersion of being a survivor
-
I don't even pay attention to whether something is Auric or Shard, it's just "do they look like they're taunting me with their clothes, or are they genuinely unable to coordinate a good outfit..."
-
I feel like it depends on the outcome of the match. If you send a gg after you absolutely stomped your opponent(s) then it's going to seem like you're being snarky.
That being said i'd much rather receive a gg than a scathing response about everything i did wrong and how I'm a horrible person because i did a misplay in DBD with slurs and expletives thrown in there at will.

Please remain in the kind bubble the game has given you, once that pops all hell will break loose...

Freddy still requires skill. Yeah, they nerfed infinites, and buffed the living crap out of window vaults.
If by buffing window vaults you mean make it so that when a survivor actually finishes vaulting they dont get hit 5 meters away, then sure. they buffed it.
-
the real sucky part is a lot of those killers in the lower ranks are usually wanting to try new tactics or new killers, and being matched against players with such a large skill gap is very offputting.
-
We need to give killers more of a reason to hook, no killer is ever going to want to hook the third survivor if they know it immediately puts the last remaining survivor at an advantage
-
While we're at it, can there be a button differentiation between vaulting pallets and opening (entering) lockers?
This is an issue for both sides, especially when the locker is far too close to the location of a vault (Gas Heaven and such)
-
my only reaction to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw20NvVDkjs
-
There was a trapper who placed traps in the strangest locations ever, and every time i would step on them. Each time though, the trapper would try to put me in the basement and barely fail. so the trapper took 3 minutes trying to put me in the basement cause I was apparently a trap magnet.
-
The thrill of the killer running past your hiding spot will always beat looping for me
-
Well once the MMR system comes out I don't see the issue with making ranking up harder. It's not going to affect matchmaking at all at that point, so there really is no reason to complain about your rank as it would be up to your skill...
...is what I would say if ranking up wasn't based on very specific parameters, and that if you do not follow the specific guidelines that the emblem system requires, then you don't pip, even if you were being useful.
If the Emblem system were to more accurately measure skill, then there would be no problem with increasing difficulty to ranking up
-
that is disgusting.

Killers just dont get it. I can be waiting 5 minutes to get in a lobby, just to wait another two minutes because im holding an item. Killers can just freely choose whether or not they want to experience a match with survivors that have items or not. If i dont hide the item I am carrying, I am going to be waiting way too darn long for a match that would not have been majorly affected by what i took. (i spend most of my points on killer, survivor points mostly go towards unlocking perks and thats it.)
A killer can be entirely picky at the expense of survivors wait times and gameplay experience.
Survivors dont get to choose whether or not they want to experience a mori match. They know nothing. They dont see the killers name. They dont know the cosmetics of the killer. They just enter a match hoping to have some fun or die trying.
-
But...you can hear the totem as you pass by. it's actually not even that good of a location. I guess most people just have horrible audio setups
-
As to what the OP said, there honestly should just be a practice room against bot survivor so that killers don't have to wait [However Long] in a queue just to lose because they don't know a passable amount of their mechanics. I do not believe that there should be seperate queue's for a killer, as every single killer should be on the same plane of balance.
That being said, Imagine being able to completely ignore pallets, loops, verticality, and distance to the survivor and thinking Nurse is not the best killer in the game. Sure, there are bugs, but once those are gone, then what?

Tbag is a universal sign in gaming as disrespectful just like flipping people off in public it doesn't hurt anybody but it does make them really upset.
And just like in sports you can get disqualified for flipping people off i agree that being disrespectful in a competition should be penalized or since its digital be disabled.
I've seen alot of posts or videos mentioning how tbagging or antagonistic behavior negatively effects the game...
I think I've only seen a single post about how the killer nodding or hitting you on hook affected someone... and in that post they laughed about it because it cost the killer the game.
I would say its solely survivors toxic behavior in this game that's the issue because to be honest if you have time to but dance around as a team to disrespect another player then the killer should be buffed because the role is obviously to weak if everyone on the other team has so much time to screw around.
completely ignores the fact that tunneling/camping is done more often to disrespect a certain survivor than it is to actually try to win a match.
Very closed minded of you to actually believe only survivors can be toxic or that teabagging is not at a risk to a survivors chance of winning. I've won multiple chases due to survivors spending too much time trying to upset me when they could have created a larger gap between my blade and their body.
Cmon now...
-
Plague pukes on every gen, top tier killer picks everyone off. Game is over.
-
as others have pointed out, he is the premier camper. They dont want to exacerbate the issue by just blanket buffing him. As to how you make him not as good at camping and improve him in other areas with his current power is beyond me.
-
Tier I Shape is Undetectable, they don't have the ability to read your aura during this phase.
-
as long as Iridescent Head is no longer borked out of everyone's mind, im happy
-
Not sure about your particular case, but the map will be changing with the Mid-Chapter Update, so I would not personally be too concerned about it
-
Deathslinger is a slow, tall killer moving towards you with a long gun pointing in your direction. If none of that is able to help you determine his location until "it's too late", the problem is not The deathslinger.
The Nurse would have downed you in the time it would have taken The Deathslinger to reel you in the first time.

Just download auto hotkey and make yourself a struggle macro. Been using a struggle/wiggle macro for 3 years now and honestly the thought of going back is sickening.
Macro's are against the game's EULA.

I've see you mori spam someone and their team for an entire match for being a streamer, you and I both know that survivors don't have to do a single thing to be targeted by certain people, they could simply be a streamer, playing a certain character, using certain perks, or simply being better out outplaying the other to get targeted.
Always makes me laugh with these threads how the first comment is always "Well you're a survivor, you must have done something".
Let me ask you, why would the killer need to see someones name, oh wait... they don't, its only benefit is to target people you don't like and farm with people you know, or play differently with people you don't know.
you always make such good points
until a moment in which i disagree with you, in that case,i hate you.
-
im betting there would be a lot less frustrated killers if the totems didnt spawn right next to gens, in plain sight.
Even i groan when i spawn as killer and see the totem too close to a gen, and as survivor i always go: "what a horrible spawn!" albeit its more humorous as survivor
-
the lies you tell...
-
because any Nurse worth their salt will just...blink...past the pallet? they can literally blink right after anyways and down any survivor that was purposely waiting, wasting the pallet ( as if it were possible against the Nurse)

Someone once made an idea that Insidious should instead grant Undetectable for x seconds after you hook a survivor, allowing killers to roam the map with less worry over who is watching them or having their tactics ruined.
Much better than "BHVR made this perk, so obviously that means i was meant to camp with it"
The fact they added Undetectable to the current iteration of Insidious without any mechanical changes was just lazy and irresponsible
-
I play killer. I play survivor. I don't complain when i (very rarely) get struck by DS, no matter how many people i have downed or hooked, because i know the mechanics of the perk.
If i fell for it, it was my mistake, and i need to accept my mistake and learn from it instead of believing its the fault of others or that it never could've been avoided in the first place.
I don't see at all why taking Peanits suggestion is so hard and that you need to defend your gameplay as if it were equivalent to the bible, acceptance is the key to improvement.
-
the hitbox at 2:38.
-
This bunk stat seriously needs to die
-
There has to be punishments now, gen rushing has been slowed and the death of god loops means survivors have far less time to distract the killer than before.
An eye for an eye, I would say. We should all participate in healthy gameplay.

i mean, no more Mori Cancel anymore. that's something to celebrate, right? 🦀
