Even if we exclude latency, hitting through windows is by design. The killer has arms, they have a weapon, they have an open window, they can reach through said window.
Its a window, not a forceshield.
I've always found bringing that logic is super flawed since none of the killers lunge forward, they swipe.
if they were to swipe, they'd hit their weapon on the side of the window, meaning the hit shouldn't land.
-
If people are trying to use their mori's before they are changed, that only further validates how broken they were in the first place.
-
If the upcoming server sided hits still dont improve the feel of being attacked, then I dont see why not. That's why I like the size of Pyramid Heads weapon, it's able to more accurately portray the (considerably larger than expected) hitbox
-
When everyone leaves new killers to go back to playing Billy, its for a reason.
I for one, am happy.
I for one, will drink all of the tears.

Ghostface.

Franklin's is supposed to make you desperate to save your precious clicky clicky or preferred item of choice.
if White Ward did that, there would be no reason to be worried.

Nothing should be hidden in terms of patch notes.
All changes made should be listed. Why aren't they?
If you make changes to the bloodweb, please inform us instead of hiding that information.
There should be no reason that decreasing the chance of cakes in bloodwebs to not be listed.
a true Spy From the Shadow you are, i didnt even know that happened

signed, a tunneler.
-
you know why, don't play dumb.
-
the point of the cage was to continue applying pressure, not following the cage.
Following the cage is the main reason why it was changed, you never should have seen it in the first place.
-
Ghostface was buffed to the max during and after PTB.
Pyramid was nerfed because *certain people* wanted to abuse the cage mechanic, you should blame them and not BHVR.
It's also no fault but your own if you decided to spend money on a live game. No one told you to fork over your cash, no one told you X character will never be nerfed. It's like wanting a refund for Mettle of Man nerf, it deserved to be nerfed, as did the cage mechanic.
It's not sad, it's reality. 'Wake Up!'

And you may get stuck in crouching animation afterwards.
but i mean you'll get stuck in crouch for numerous reasons

It's great, totem locations are just actually garbo 80% of the time
-
please, for the love of Entity let it be so

Vile Purge has high range, aim up
You can partially charge Vile Purge, often times early game, its best to get someone sick and continue to find other survivors
Vile Purge may not prevent interactions, but the interactions spread Vile Purge, which both can get other people sick and gives off information
You don't have to charge it multiple times on one person, usually a good enough Purge on someone should reach broken by the time you reach them (assuming they were in a safe area)
Yeah, Vile Purge can't down people, but being broken, coughing, and basically glowing green should be good enough when you know you also have Corrupt Purge and none of their healing perks will work
They can disinfect themselves sure, but as long as the 4 survivors aren't all doing so at the same time, people will continue to be forced to re-infect themselves
If you stop behind a tree she'll just go around it if she's close enough, otherwise, Michael, Ghostface, Deathslinger, Demo and Huntress all face the same issues with trees on distant survivors
-
They decided to make a cool map, and then make it completely uncool by locking every way to traverse through it by a breakable wall.
Except for the gates being right next to each other, thats uncool. At least you cant see the switches from the middle though
-
well you feel wrong
-
Scooby standing up straight would be both hilarious and cathartic
-
THE PERK THAT MOST OBVIOUSLY SHOULDN'T EXIST
-
Bond makes you jaded real quick.
-
The better you are as killer, the more Pop will help you dominate. Myself being a killer thats average but plays survivors often enough to know their tricks, I can't say I should be using Pop, but if you're a Entity-tier Nurse player why the heck wouldnt you take it?
-
Killers dont seem to understand that the corn hides them too
-
Honestly, I never understood why kicking a gen never applied baseline regression, especially when survivors dont require a channeled action to repair a damaged (kicked) gen
-
I hate campers, but i hope a Bubba facecamps you for this thread.
-
That is not a rework, that is a nerf.
-
I still have Year 3 cakes that can be used, but things like Pustula Petal offerings get disabled as they trigger things to actually change in the game
Oh, I also still have Winter Party starters, Hallow's Eve Lunchboxes, Spooky Flashlights, and the firecrackers

aBsOrB
-
Once you have enough understanding of the game, Bond can tell you where the killer is, just as much as Dark Sense can
-
Why a flat BP gift when they could've just started a bloodhunt that would've acted like someone put on a cake anyways

"a whole bunch of people worked there ass off to get this items"... Throwing in some offerings during a small time Event isnt really hard.
obviously you weren't around when Event objectives could be sabotaged...
-
Can confirm, had this happen to me as well
-
This is indeed true.
woah...creepy.
-
I was in a 3-man all day yesterday, almost every single random killed themselves on hook. It completely ruined my desire to play
-
Not a Bug.
-
Guitar does not = scary. That's how i feel about The Doctor's chase music as well.
Both sound great when the killer is far away, but the moment you get too close the composer just decides they're gonna make it hella metal and that thats all you want to hear
-
Is Cheryl....
you know...
-
hmm, i would've just assumed Soul Guard already would have applied Deep Wounds if it prevented you from getting downed. Seems alright to me.

Quick question for anyone: what time does the DLC typically become available?
I'm usually at work when it's released, but with covid my hours are different, so I'll be home all day and want to download it as soon as I can
Typically, I've seen Steam start updating around 11 AM EST (3PM UTC), although it varies based on whatever goes wrong on their end..
-
This map shows how genuinely ignorant even the highest rank players are.
"Oh, I saw someone pop a gen on this side, let me pop 2 more gens on this side, what could possibly go wrong?" - Meg
-
wait, so you're saying that the button to Self-Care is the same button to Vault?
Who made that decision?
-
I like the trail duration, as that makes it easier to track survivors as the game is winding down and enables you to force survivors into Torment or run without a loop.
Trail recharge is also really good since you can leave trails in a chase and then have enough charge to attack if you need to use your ranged hit.
Honestly, the add-ons might be generic, but they all are pretty much useful. although, Purple and Pink ones are extremely niche.
-
Well...
-
Was this a Huntress in Ormond?
-
Apparently they believe the button mashing adds to the atmosphere and really makes you feel like you're going to die...
maybe for your first 10 matches, sure.
-
Am i the only one reading this wrong? I thought this would mean that future archives will NOT include a characters sexual preference as that kills a players interpretation of their character and how they choose to identify and portray them.
Either way, why should anyone cry if a person is gay or bi or lesbian or trans in DBD, it wont ever hurt you.
It's not political, or pandering, it's called real damn life.
-
letting anyone get up using just unbreakable is no fault but the killers, if they let multiple people get up on their own the killer is just being foolish. I dont leave people on the ground unless I see someone else, and if that downed person gets up, that is on me.
It'll be okay, people will adapt and not slug as much. win win for everyone.
-
It was really always in poor taste, personally. Yeah, we all get it, he murders people and puts on their skin. No one would honestly care if it was removed, though.
This conversation has been brought up to me and my friends and it's personally screwed up. You don't see it too often, because why would anyone want to play him unless you wanted to facecamp, but when we see "Smartface" we're always like:
If you really wanted a white murderer to wear a black woman's skin so bad that you'd complain if that option was taken away, you've got some things to sort out in your head.
-
I'm so damn sorry for the very winnable game that ended horribly solely because i wasnt working on gens and instead was following The Legion
-
the only people who would need this, are those who slug for the 4k.
-
16 per health state so 32 is two health states
12 is not 16 so you will be left at 3/4 till the next health state
Efficiency only affects the duration in which your medkit will last before expiring due to usage, it will not increase speed
speeding up healing reduces charges faster, but in the case of Great Skill checks, it circumvents the usage of the item and adds the flat % increase in progression instead. This is how people saved their brown medkits before the item rework. A brown medkit only provides enough charges for one heal, if you did not land a great skill check the medkit would have been consumed.
Charges are charges regardless of who you use it on, there are medkits that provide speed bonuses depending on who you use it on, though.
