90% of the maps have gates that spawn on the same wall, with no Line of Sight blockers to stop a killer from just waiting in the middle for a survivor to pop up and just slay them easily.
They are NOT too fast. After all, if a killer failed to stop the survivors from completing every single gen and then failed to reach them when the gates were available, do you think they really need a third mechanic to stop survivors from leaving on top of the threat of Endgame, Rancor, NOED and the sorts?
-
BHVR already has control over the randomness of everything in the maps, they just have not gone around to the older maps...which also make up the majority of maps in the game as well.
If they weren't randomized, survivors would automatically create and follow the most optimal routes for each and every map, since of course, they wouldn't change after all.
-
I mean, you're definitely not wrong, especially with Claudette. That's also why Leatherface is a villain, though, right? And why its doubly awesome when you escape against them.
-
Obviously you've never faced enough survivors that have used medkits in chases while injured with Old Freddy.
-
Not broken, but if you really like the concept of messing with / scaring survivors, you can always use the combination of Furtive Chase and Nemesis.
It becomes very easy to get stacks when anyone doing anything to mess with you, including unhooking, will cause them to become Oblivious, making stealth kills far easier for you.
As long as you're halfway decent at acquiring hooks, there will almost always be one survivor that is oblivious at any given time
-
Two of his perks didnt even get any use that match. He had Blood Warden and Remember Me, meaning only his two other perks were being used.
The problem was of your own ability, not the enemy
-
Legacy was cool before Year 3 added outfits, now there's not really a reason to wear them unless you really just want to put a target on your back by a killer.
-
I mean, it did look trash in the trailer for Switch, I would not have purchased it based on the selected footage they released for it as an advertisement
-
A nice way to return Old Freddy...is to not.
-
I'm not a shooter type of person, it wont be getting much more out of me unless it was gifted to me
-
The emblem system is supposed to reward quality kills, not "hey i facecamped some people, where is my pip?"
Personally im happy when i dont pip as killer since i certainly could not mentally handle red rank games for longer than a few days
-
No.
-
lmao, SWF is the only reason this game is still alive.
-
The tunnel monster will never come back.
-
old ruin and new ruin will still get destroyed by a totem hunting survivor anyways...
-
all that picture proves is that most people are trash at Nurse. not everything in the world is supposed to be hold-your-hand easy. Nurse is one of those things that wasnt. She's still hella strong, people who arent good at Nurse just like to complain a lot because they lack the skill to play a killer that is no longer SSS+ tier.
-
youve earned a chuckle, its true
-
most people dont want multiple game modes, they just want one single actually balanced game mode where perks and killers are all at least on a similar plane of strength
-
They have changed the Terror Radius perks to only show to the survivor if they are currently performing an action that would be affected by it (Coulrophobia, Unnerving Presence).
It only makes sense for Lullaby to not show anymore either.
The rest are honestly self-evident, you dont need an indicator or an icon to know what happened

ace has built in iron will
Ace has quiet pregnant breathing, hilarious, but effective

her old vault animation? there wasnt one. she just stood there and then, out of nowhere, she was on the other side.

Peanits said it is on the list of things they are going to be working on. Currently I am sure there is much greater issues to fix then grabs.
considering the game-defining difference a successful grab is, in comparison to a survivor running away is, No, i don't think there are very many issues greater. Grabs are a BASIC Killer function. Stealth killers are far more crippled due to this bug than others.
-
I play Breakdown, to my knowledge, it stays for the full direction

Nemesis fixes Furtive Chase
I do love combining Nemesis with Furtive Chase, but I think we all agree that Furtive Chase should be good on its own, not so unnecessarily crippled that it requires another perk to add a meaningful caveat to its mechanic
-
it made me hate teammates in other games too.

Every single DBD opening cinematic has been deafeningly loud. For what? is this some inside joke form the devs to hurt people's ears for no reason?

Isn't that a verb?
i never was a bright man
-
you know you play too much DBD when you use "BHVR'd" as a noun

To put it very simply, it was one of those things that appeared very unpopular at first glance, but there was a cult following to it. Since it's an add-on and completely optional, there's no harm in bringing it back.
Cult Following is not what should uphold balance. Actually changing numbers or effects is what balance is about. The entire time it was missing there could have been buffs that would have made it actually something desirable, but the entire time nothing was done about an add-on numerous people showed there was an issue with and the stats would follow up to show as well.
-
nothing was nerfed. random person is just complaining. nothing to see here, move along.
-
its almost like stealth is relevant again. I see no issue here.
-
i definitely notice a delay, and it feels so clunky. id understand if it was a balance reason though

will verifying the integrity of game data help at all?
i did try verifying and have not experienced that EAC BS yet, so i would go ahead and give it a try. cheers!
-
ah yes, no one would have ever thought that lockout timers in an extremely buggy game would even be close to a bad idea...right?
P.S. i have experienced this too, luckily not in the middle of the match though.

I'm confused. Why are you not collecting them as you go?
Because the BP limit is 1 mill
By saving challenges, they can basically bypass that limit by storing all those extra bloodpoints for the new killer/survivor!
-
if people knew i had Open-Handed they'd probably synergize with their own Aura perks.
I feel like the opportunity would help bring survivors together and help them cooperate with one another
-
I mean, if there is no problem with Calm Spirit against The Doctor, I dont see the issue with Lucky Break against The Oni. The Oni gains power passively and on-hit so its not like the blood orbs are that important to warrant not having any interaction.
Would make No Mither slightly viable at the very least
-
I mean, alot of these killers are: i use my ability and then i never use my ability and just M1
-
Killers no longer being to block the basement fully. Camping killer mains cried so hard and i laughed so much at how they thought something like that was balanced.
"what do you mean completely confirming 1-2 kills during Endgame while doing nothing is OP?"

To see if the killer is near the hook and see what your mates are doing so you know if you should go for the save or do other objective?
i don't think you understand at all what either of us are saying or about Kindred and its fatal flaw
-
Kindred has one main purpose, and that is to promote healthy gameplay. If being undetectable overrides Kindred, then what was the point of bringing Kindred in the first place?
-
from personal experience, killers who bring BPS tend to want to stomp as quickly as possible as it doesnt matter how fast their job gets done. if they get kills, they'll get a ton of bloodpoints regardless
I do what i normally do and if the killer performs poorly that is on them. I'm not going to risk my life just to give someone i don't know that is trying to kill me some points to feed their ability to kill other people.
-
Claudette's Bob was permanently ruined after the hair update
-
its hard to be good with 15 fps
-
I dont think it needs to be easier, i think it needs to have a purpose other than bloodpoints so the other damn survivors can stop screwing me over just because they wanna reach 1 million
-
is that Micheal DC'd or...
-
3 of my 4 survivor perks are basegame, so i wouldnt believe its pay to win at all. Now, if the Ash Williams chapter never got nerfed THEN i would say it's pay to win.
-
and this is why The Pig will never get lethal Endgame traps
