    Perks:

    • Breakdown
    • Deliverance
    • Boil Over
    • Borrowed Time

    Item:

    • Toolbox with sabo speed buffs

    Offering:

    • Petrified Oak

    Strategy:
Pick a corner and find the 3 nearest hooks to 99% sabo them. When someone is downed make sure you're nearby to get that Deliverance activated. Then either work on the nearest gen to your corner (but don't use your toolbox) or bait the killer into the corner so your buddy can get away. When you see the killer coming your way make sure you have plenty of time to sabo all 3 hooks and make it into the corner. The killer will pick you up and look around for a hook. Usually they drop you because they know they won't make it, especially with Boil Over. If they are salty they will camp your slugged body. If not they'll take off to find other survivors. Either way, you'll have wasted a decent chunk of time.

Of course you're reliant on your teammates to be gen jockeys. Otherwise you're just wasting time.

Breakdown, Boil Over and Deliverance are especially useful for end game plays when there's only one hook near an open exit gate or there's been 2-3 sacrifices and some hooks are permanently lost.

Tutorial: How to get slugged and bleed out on the floor

Most players dont enjoy this type of gameplay, but if you are into that, then thats a good strategy yeah

  • Last second switch = full "toxic" mode enabled

Most survivors dont enjoy these kind of games, so I never understand why they do that. But they get what they ask for, I dont care

  • The problem is that SWF is really broken and killers would dodge such lobbies then

I rly want to know because every time a survivor have a problem they fix the game but when the killer have a problem they have to wait the new DLC and hope that will help.

Because most killer problems are related to a special killer power and its easier to fix it by adding a new perk.
But then there are also the hex problems..... not really sure what I should say about the "haunted ground fix"

  • @aarongai said:
The Killer can run BBQ and play normally, hooking Survivors to get extra bloodpoints. He would do this in all of his games regardless of running the perk.

We're Gonna Live Forever requires Survivors to unhook or take a hit to get tokens. There are a few problems with this:

    1. Encourages Survivors to hook farm their teammates

    2. Encourages a play style not everyone enjoys (some people like doing gens or playing stealthy, others like dancing with the Killer)

    3. Acquiring max stacks is difficult even if you play correctly (either unhook 4 people, or take 4 hits and risk dying yourself)

So WGLF stacks should be awarded for an action that all Survivors participate in regardless of playstyle, just like the Killer's BBQ perk. Completing generators seems like the action that fits the bill, but maybe reviving downed Survivors would feel more thematic for a perk called "We're Gonna Live Forever."

I'd be okay with either option, but in WGLF current state, giving up a perk slot for an unreliable chance at extra bloodpoints that also forces Survivors to play in a manner they may not enjoy doesn't seem worth it.

While I like the concept of the idea, it would make genrushing insane which would be a really bad idea in the current state

You are describing a laggspike, not laggswitching.
And from what I have heard, lagg is quite common on consoles

  • @Troman said:
Aura reading is ruining this stealth game. No matter how good you are at hiding, killer will find you without any tracking effort from his side. This is just annoying.

I was so tired of BBQ, so I equipped Distortion. But the Doctor can still see my aura when I scream, so I equipped Calm Spirit additionally. But the Legion can still see me after he hits someone with his special abilities, no matter how well I can hide. This is just BS. I'm ok if the killer finds me because I made a mistake or because he is good at tracking and has tracking perks equipped, but spoon-feeding killers and revealing my location to the killer even though I have several anti-tracking perks equipped is just so annoying.

Enough with the killer aura reading abilities for this game. Or give us a perk that can protect us from all kinds of aura reading, so the killers have actually to search for survivors.

You just got that perk

Oh and btw, DBD is not a hide and seek game

  • If you always have lagg in a matcch, then your NET is not as good as you think.
Are you the only user (stop your sister from waching netflix etc)?
Are you using a wired connection (especially in big aparment buildings)?

"Gen rushing" what, you mean doing the objectives without running around wasting time? Well, I never! Try to get into chases with the killer, get called toxic and other such names, do gens and you get called the same thing. There's no winning is there, so ridiculous.

It's funny, they complain about players purposely getting into chases to waste time (killers are supposed to chase survivors btw) but also complain when they focus on their objective, wild.

By getting into chases on purpose they actually donate time to the killer since the killer doesnt need to search for them. The optimal playstyle is rushing gens until the killer arrives and sees you, then loop as long as possible while others keep holding M1.

I love this game so much, but i hate dbd's toxicity and im probably going to have to take a break from the game for a while as this is all getting to me
Please don't act like this towards people. its horrible, hell if the guy really thought i was lag switching, fair enough whatever i can take that, but going out of there way to harass me verbally is not ok, just put in a report and leave me alone please

Its not your fault that the survivors readied up having a red ping.

Just try to completely ignore the afterchat and exit straight away. Sadly BHVR doesnt punish this behaviour properly, so reporting will most likely do nothing

If the killer nevre commits to a chase, you simply tap the gen.

Sure it takes a lot more time than usual, but its far from unbeatable..... dont forget that its 1vs4 and the killer has to manage 4 survivors at 3 gens

You're assuming it's a 1 v4 and not a 1v3 or 1v 2 or even a 1v1 if the gens are just far enough apart. Prior to Spirit coming out me and 2 other solos faced a really good 3 gen strat Doc on Backwater Swamp. It took us over half an hour to finally beat him.

If it's the right killer and the right gen placement it's nigh impossible to beat.

If survivors actually died before the 3genstrat took place, then the killer commited to the chase/hook and gaev up on the gen strat. If the survivors then do the wrong gens, then its completely their fault

    @Master
You can commit to the chase and not give up on the 3 gen strat, i've done it lots of times.
Does it work every time? No, but it's quite possible to do both things. In my experience most of the times 1 or 2 survivors are dead already when there are 3 gens left in the map.

Well then its the survivors fault for maneuvering themselves in this situation.
Which gen you do is the ONLY tactical decision you need to make as surivor, but sometimes they dont even think about that.

i did say, you'd be able to reach them as killer from both sides. think of it as a vault space, but you can only crouch under it, pick them up from either side so they can't just sit in the middle of it

So you cant turn directions while crouching? Otherwise the killer wil never be able to get you.

Then you are describing the mechanic of vaulting a pallet with the difference that the killer cant break the pallet. I dont think I need to explain why this is absolutely broken, do I?

No im describing the conditions of a vault space. only in crouch form. ie... you crouch under it, instead of vaulting over it...

Ok so there is an area you have to crouch and you can turn directions at any time, but the killer can only reach you from one side if you passed the middle. DId I get that right?

You cant do anything against 3 gen strat if the killer really goes for it.

My post was sarcasm and obviously DS is overpowered and needs a nerf, but things as the nurse or 3 gen strats are as much fun to play against, as DS, because you can't counter it by any means, especially if a killer runs perks for 3 gen strats.

Wrong, EAC has said they don't actively scan for it but if their system detects it and bans you for it it's not going to be overturned. So in fact you can and will be banned for it and thus the devs won't unban you.

Saying EAC said it's safe is nonsense since what they said is what I typed that they don't actively scan for it but if it's flagged you get banned. Which means it's not allowed in DBSD if you get banned for it so stop trying to squirm your way in with it.

Now to put the proverbial technical nail in your logical fallacies argument here.since for it to work when dedicated servers come out it'd have to bypass how the servers handle data. Since the servers won't be transmitting user data with the type of info it needs it won't work.

So since it won't have access to the type of data it needs it can't work unless it's modified in such a way that it becomes a hack or it attempts to hatch the servers. If it becomes workable on dedicated servers those using it will thus be banned either by EAC or BHVR pretty much instantly.

    https://imgur.com/a/QUUWd2l

EAC confirmes they are fine with MLGA and have no plans to ban it = Its Allowed in DBD

They didn't said they actively scan for it, they don't care and they are fine with the program itself, don't make up bs plz bro.

so many ppl have already contacted EAC and all of their response is the same. they will not ban players for using MLGA since its not a cheating program. The only way to make it bannable is up to the devs

No one has ever been banned by MLGA cuz its allowed on DBD.

That mail is from 2017, things have changed since then.
and even if EAC has no tools to detect it, BHVR can still forbid it in the TOS

Especially when going through grass, corn field, or anything like that so I have to stay on a path or I'll slow down.

I feel like it's poorly executed. However, on the flip side I hear there are actually good perks to play as Legion in a decent way. It's an issue created by bad design. But I guess you could say it's both a design issue and a game balance issue, as they're tied with one another. The weird thing is that it was stated on devstream #59, and in stating it they're acknowledging that it affects this way, and yet they haven't done anything to try and fix this. Bandaid solutions isn't enough, as it is a fundamental issue, so to solve it they have to make fundamental changes that directly affects the issue, changes like those I suggested.

In the stream "playing with devs" where they mentioned that not all killers are meant to be viable (repeated during the legion disaster) I realized that I can give up when it comes to proper balancing in DBD. Its simply not gonna happen
