What I mean is to make it a toggle effect and the amount and parts of body to coincide with the current model parts but so that we can have a bloody Feng Min in her new outfit or anyone for that matter. Because outfit store is making prestige skins worthless. If it was a toggle switch it could just through blood on any skin you buy :)

Devs already said that its not gonna happen

    What's causing this?

    Try verifying game files

  • If devs ever consider removing the nurse as you propose, then they can burry their game^^

  • Its a step in the right direction, but the exhaustion nerf was carried out badly in my opinion.
The annoying thing of sprintburst is that the survivor can keep doing the gen until you literally stand in front of him, then he gets a free-out-of-jail-card by pressing down shift and can run to his favourite loop spot

Sure, sprint burst shouldnt activate during chase either, but I feel the nerf is hitting the other exhaustion perks too much and sprint burst isnt nerfed enough.

And again, nothing is done about SWF-balancing and gen-time

  • What ruins all chases? The missing vacuum?

As you said, huntress hums very loudly so you will hear her (this has nothing to do with latency btw), not sure what you are refering to with "no perks"

Its a bad idea to make freddys power somethign you just hold down the button and then 360, not even knowing where the survivor is, thats why its not a thing in the game

Killers have always been possible to do a jump/drop attack, no they should not recover frmo a fall like survivors because they are strong Killers and didnt skip legday like some survivors

  • Meta is when you use loadouts or sth like this.
But gens go too quick in every game, this has nothing to do with a "meta" since the survivor just have to sit down at a gen and press M1.

If you wanna play your garbage killers, then I suggest you derank before doing so. I am doing the same now, devs are balancing the game around low rank, then I will stay in the low ranks in order to have fun^^

The only counter to genrush I can think of is NOED. Ruin is just a bad joke, usually it is gone before I can even find it..... so hard to see its aura nowadays

Devs said camping is a legit way to play the game and why shouldnt you be rewarded for a 4k? I mean are you suppoesd to 5k to do better?

Funny, but if you dont actually kill the last two survivors and farm with them, then this would even be sth worth reportable

Because of a few reasons... It can be countered and it can make the game take triple the time it would normally take. I don't really think anyone wants that. I hate accidentally getting a 3-gen as killer. One time I was stuck in the match for 30 minutes...

I just dc if they stay in the game longer than 5 minutes. But then again, I don't really care for ranking up as killer.
It doesn't happen to me often though, does it to you?

I met a person and they told me that the killer could be playing on Low settings and that is why they could see you in dark areas since shadows are less likely to be there on Low settings. I wonder if more killers play on Low settings to get these advantages.

I play on low settings because DBD is not optimized at all. Oh, and usually its the hair bug that reveals dark claudettes in a dark corner

I just found Identity V and have jumped ship as well. I am afraid all these changes are too late now. At least for me. 2 years now people have been running in circles with the killer being a joke.

I am hardly playing DBD anymore. I am checking back every major patch but its always the same, I dont believe that the game will ever become competitive/balanced.
The fact that they plan to release DLCs on a quarterly basis now makes it even harder to balance the whole thing.

You can get banned if all your're doing is just chasing them off the gens but not actually trying to harm them.. That's considered holding the game hostage by the devs themselves. I was on the Pale Rose map against a Doctor that used that strategy where the 3 gens were really close together. He always keep people off those with a super extended terror radius. While he did hook and sac 1 person he always made sure he kept those 3 from being done.

Myself and the other 2 solo queue survivors kept trying to do 1 of the 3 to ge gates powered and it took us over 20 minutes of going back and forth of being chased and occasionally hit 1 x but never chased far to get the gen done. The doctor could've easily just chased 1 of us and gotten way more points by doing that and queuing up.

It is not and we have confirmation, I dare to provide official source stating otherwise.

The killer objective is to kill survivors and to prevent them from doing gens.
Protecting his gens is not holding the game hostage

In fact, survivors that dont try to do gens if the doc 3-gen strats them, are holding the game hostage becuase they are not doing their objective and are just hiding somewhere

There was a dev stream can't remember the one but I'll try and find it where they discussed that because you're not actually trying to hook survivors. It's similar to simply blocking someone in the basement but not whacking them.

By the argument of not letting them do gens only and not actively even trying to kill them then the killer isn't fulfilling their objective are they? If the killer only does 1 of the 2 in'st that the same as simply blocking them in the basement abut not hitting them? Both actions keep them from doing gens and both actions don't fulfil the objective of hooking.

We know for an absolute fact that in 1 dev stream they've said that blocking the basement strategy is bannable. So again why would you say 1 is okay when the other isn't? Now if I'm wrong then I apologize about the 1st strategy since i might've misunderstood them.

The killers objectives are kiilling survivors and slowing down gen progress.
Fact is taht survivors can do something against a 3 gen strat, but bodyblocking in the basement renders them afk basically. Also by bodyblocking a survivor in the basement you can drag the game to infinity which is not possible with a 3gen strat.

And yeah, bodyblocking in the basement ist 100% bannable (has to occur quite often though before devs take action I guess)

nerf was needed, as explained in the dev stream, if killers were to see that there was multiple gens popping in the first 20 seconds of a match, they would feel more stressed and entitled to camp their kills.

Killers camp for 100 more reasons than BNP procs.

Gens pop fast enough without any toolboxes to be worth a camp

  • @yugidragon said:

15k for an ultra rare is just ridiculous if you think about how much DCs happen

What do you mean? I think it's actually a good idea, because you can see how strong those ultra rare addons are...one shot hatchets, insta heal, BNP etc. BNP is not the only problem if you think about it.

Every DC wastes an ultra rare addon (at least for killers), so I think its a bad idea increasing the price to 15k as long as DCing isnt punished

Realistically if you have an offering and actually get it then go with the clothing for that offering. But to the people whining about all dark outfits while not whining about said dark outfits on maps where it's a liability. I've found really dark outfits to be bad and it's far better to go with something that's middle range color wise.

Think camouflage and how it actually works by blurring and mixing different shades of colors. someone like Meg or Nea are 2 of the best actual ones to sue since their character models are so small. The outfits with different shade combo's that match well are harder to see than an all black outfit Claudette.

I say that last part as a Claudette main since I've got no issue usually with finding the dark outfitted Claudettes on dark maps.

That pickup animation speed is insane in PTB, It will take a brain dead killer to actually get blinded for a save now lol. It's insanely fast. I hope they put some thought into this.

It doesnt change a lot tbh.
THe killer still cant do anything because he is locked in animation and the only change will be that the survivor might have to get closer to the downed survivor in order to get in front of the killer fast enough.

However, considering that survivors usually have time to click the flashlight at you during the animation, just to flash you afterwards, I dont think the change is gonna do much

  • Survivors got angry because even though they play the op side, even in a SWF, they still dont manage to escape.
It hurts even more knowing how broken the game is and they just relieve that anger towards you because they cant critizie themselves.

A lot has been said recently about DS and I agree I hate the perk it should be changed or removed but what about NOED the Killer's own version of DS it lets a lot of unskilled Killers do way better than they should and if they won't remove NOED how about a Nerf at the moment it is basically 3 perks in 1.

1 shot down, 8% reduced cooldown on successful and missed attacks and a 4% speed increase.

How about don't make it a totem perk and give the Killer a 3/4/5% speed increase for the 3 tiers of the perk for 2mins or time can be adjusted after the last Generator is popped the same as Hope for Survivors then it isn't OP and allowing all these unskilled Killers to be carried by a single perk just the same as Survivors who run DS.

So you want back the Noed version BEFORE it became a Hex perk?
2 min timer … you know what? No one used it, because that version was garbage.

Why do survivor always claim that Noed is "unskilled" and would "carry" the killer?
Does Noed highlight the survivors aura?
Does it magically drag them towards the hook?
Killer have still to find, chase and hit the survivor (and hook).
And they paid for the benefit by playing with one less perk the whole match

And the perk has a build in counter … cleanse the dull totem!

NOED is a crutch for unskilled players just like DS, i don't mind keeping it anyway just to help baby killers get some kills. I don't whine about perk buffs or nerfs anyway, but don't tell me it's not a second chance crutch.

and you will lose everything you brought with you.

I don't understand why it's ok for the killer to Bring Mories/Tombstones and stuff like that while the won't accept any items from survivors.

Now survivors started 6-second swapping and it's a bloody war out there. Killer Mains vs Survivor Mains. Just remove this stupid feature please. It only promotes fighting

I've even been forced to not use my Auric Cell items that I just bought because WAY too many killers Dodge me and it takes 3-4 Lobbies until I get a game. I'm just stuck with my Green shirt and the default pants with Claudette for now.
    That's silly

The killer is supposed to counter the stuff survivors bring into the game, thats why perks like lightborn exist. Of course he needs to be able to see their quipment in lobby for that.

Oh and btw, if you wanna run around with your deathsquad yielding 4 flashlights, then ofc killers gonna dodge you. Oh and if you dont ready up fast enough, then prepare to be dodged too. If I am in a salty mood, then I will equip insidious leatherface at the 10 sec mark if you still havent readied up

Well, I mean it's all just part of the game. There's way to prevent, or counter flashlights, if you know there's a flashlight in game, look at a wall or wait to hit a survivor until they're near somewhere you can face to avoid flashlights and if you legitimately cannot catch someone for the entire game, you just need to just suck it up princess. You aren't going to get kills every game, just like survivors are going to survive every game.

If I get a no kill game, I just move on. TC is just mad because people are playing the game the way the devs intend it.

These are not reliable counters, the only reliable counter to flashlights is the "exit lobby" button
