Basic hit and power button.
Mouse 1 and mouse 2.
I play on both.

Oh, thanks for the tips. I usually just do zig zag movement when he charges, not timing it at all and get downed right away tbh. I wish they nerfed the charge time.
Nothings wrong with his charge time tbh. It's just something you have to get used too. He has counter play like every other killer you just need to get used to it. Once you remove the chainsaw from the equation he comes a 115 m1 killer.
-
They dodging his chainsaw once you get the timing down it becomes relatively quite easy.

I'm straight and want shirtless Myers since it would be funny too see him get more bloody as he hits people.

This is not uncommon in the slightest. Achievements show the percentage of the total owners who earned an achievement. Many people (myself included) hoard games and never end up playing half of them. Others might buy the game, play it a couple time, possibly play it exclusively like a party game in KYF and then stop playing entirely.
To give an example, there's an achievement in PAYDAY 2 for just putting on your mask. It is literally the first thing you do in the game- you can't finish the tutorial or play a single mission without doing it- but at one point only ~66% of the people who owned the game had it unlocked.
We're not balancing around the people who never got to rank 10, that would be silly. It would be great if they decided to come back down the line, but making balance changes isn't going to suddenly make them reinstall the game and start playing every day. We would rather balance around the people that are playing the game.
Doubt you will read this, but can we get some Quality of Life changes on killers who desperately need some attention. We dont need nerfs on killers we just need some love so other killers can be viable your 2k limitations are hurting killers at least put it to 2k to 3k consistently.
Here's a list of things I could think of off the top of my head.
Trappers trap mechanics are nice, but he needs to start with more traps and should be able to get them from lockers having to travel halfway across the map and back to trap a loop is really bad pressure. Also having all his traps set at the start of the game would drastically help him.
Doctor needs some way to transition from treatment to punishment and punishment to treatment more quickly. Charge speed addons as well.
Huntress it would be nice to change her actual terror radius to 32 meters and change it from a heartbeat to a hum. Also remove the Hum from her directly.
Leatherface just needs a lot smaller tantrum time.
Pigs roar should be at the end of the dash attack charge not the start. Needs severe addon rework she has 3 powers all addons should cover at least 2 of them how she currently is. Also needs a faster crouch animation. Should also reactive traps for hatch closing and starting EGC.
Clown needs his list of bugs worked on.
Legions vault animation should be faster. His power should be still usuable even part way charged like before it was cool and unique. Due to how he is now mend should apply a action debuff speed to force people to mend not just wait till the last second. His actual frenzy stun is too long please reduce it by 1 second.
Plagues really unique, but being sick should have a downside to want people to heal.

I agree with this.
I've literally had killers accuse my team of "You only won cuz you genrushed"...when I didn't even see them once during the match. (I don't play stealthy btw).
Just think it's hilarious, when are survivors going to start using the term "hook rush" lol
I noticed this a lot more when I stopped playing survivor and jumped to killer.

Pretty much, sometimes ruin is a huge problem when you play solo and have a bad team so you need to search the whole map, but aside that is lame.
Ruin is the perfect excuse for bad killers to hook a couple of times before the game starts.
Yes it is a huge problem when people play solo. As a survivor I'm able to work through Ruin so I dont really pay attention till I see someone gen tapping and my only thought was it's a bad tactic. As a killer I noticed I play in a way that unless they find it personally before or when we get into a chase I proceed to push them the opposite direction from ruin so they dont get a chance to see it.
-
You also passively kick gens on a semi regular basis though.
-
Spirit First , Huntress Second, and Nurse was my main till Spirit dropped
Though I have been playing a lot more Hag.
-
See even at rank 1 both on pc and ps4 I have not had much trouble tracking people without Stridor. Every time I have tried it I would rather run whispers honestly. It's more consistently better imho. Either way it's not a perk I would recommend for a new spirit player.
-
Dont use predator, bloodhound, and Strider. These perks in fact handicap you when playing Spirit and are a waste.
Aura perks really dont help her since you cant see auras in phase except things like Rancor, Discordance, Surveillance.
A good setup when I learned her was Ruin, Sloppy Butcher, Haunted Grounds, BBQ&C. When I was prestigeing her I used Nurses Calling over BBQ&C and it was just as effective.
As you started with Pig I would suggest Make your Choice, Whispers, Haunted Grounds, and Sloppy Butcher.
A good overall build is BBQ&C, MYC, Discordance or Ruin or Surveillance, and PGTW. This let's me be able to snowball the game while finding survivors and protecting gens.
Gameplay wise remember that scratch marks appear a second or so after the survivors so pay attention to grass, birds, scratch marks, and sounds. She also has a ton of playstyles and none of them are incorrect so play her how you want. Dont be discouraged by losing survivors in phase it happens you get better at it with exp.
Her best brown addons are movement speed and haunting duration in my experience. Yellow addons I prefer charge speed and power recovery. Green addons are what you like. Good combinations of her basic perks are stacks of the same ones. Double charge speed activations of green and yellow puts you in phase in less then a second which opens up some mind games. Overall all of her addons are useful and you will learn to experiment with her a lot.
Have fun :)

Gen rush occurs when a killer places little to no emphasis on more proactively protecting generators.
Sorry to be harsh, bet thems the hardline.
I’ve used Ruin less than fingers on my hand. Games last between 10 to 20 minutes, even against sweaty 4 toolbox SWF.
Most people who actively use ruin dont understand why they are using it. Everyone has told them it is necessary as a killer to use ruin, but why? Because Ruin stops gen rushing? No incorrect.
Ruin is good simply to delay time for specific killers who need set up time or take awhile to do stuff. Trapper and Hag being huge examples.
Genrushing seems to be a overly used terms by bad killers who see anyone do the objective of doing the gens. There are specific set ups and builds for gen rushing yet I have see people without a single one of these be called genrushers. Just because they use proper game experience to get back on a gen instead of wandering around like a new player.
Ruin prevents killers from learning to apply proper pressure in the games on generators and survivors in general. Instead they assume Ruin will cover that up and they can chase the survivors like a rabid dog. Not everyone is like this of course, but a lot of people who use Ruin do in fact use it to cover the flaw of them being bad at applying pressure on multiple fronts.
-
Yes they are available for people. I'm not sure if its region locked or changeable. I have never seen the option on ps4 though. I have seen pc content users change the languages though.
Unlike Monster Hunter or RPGs the games language is very simple so you should be fine with just a basic look into perks if it's not in your preferred language.

I think Spanish has 3 to 6 different variations. Since at one time England and Spain controlled good amounts of land worldwide. It's made them a very well used language.

You probably have yours for a while, I got mine less than a month ago. I didn't change anything. Did you played after the last update because some sounds were better heard in stereo and surround was messed up?
It is not about the headphones, I think they are quite good, the problem comes from the game itself.
I've had them for about 5 months. I took off surround sound a few updates ago when I was looking for tips on the headphones and noticed a lot of people recommended playing with surround sound turned off. I noticed after trying it I had heard sounds a lot more clearly despite the bad audio. Few updates ago I was ecstatic with how good sounds were you could actually locate people with sounds not just a general direction.
Was just hoping you might of messed with the customization honestly. Rare to run into anyone with psgold headsets.

Yeah 2018 ones. Platinum were kinda expensive so I went for these. I love them. :)
I use them too mind if I ask how you set yours up? I took the surround off and noticed a huge difference, but never messed with anything else. Was hoping you might have some insight in them.

Yeah I enjoy my gold v.2 wireless headset much more than some cheaper headphones I used before. It doesn't improve survivor gameplay that much but helps me when I play killer. Too bad the audio is still not in the good place like before. Sounds are messed up, still.

I won't deny you can "do without it" the thing is there will come a time when you desperately need it and you don't have it. 95% of the time you really don't need it, but that 5% where you do it's very dire. A single GOOD survivor with Iron Will and Spine Chill can cost you the game.
I agree Iron Will can become a problem if you listen strictly for sounds, but there are counters to them just like anything else. Though this comes down to playstyle and tracking efficiency with scratch marks, birds, and grass.
I happen to notice you missed the one thing that mattered in my post. Can you still come out of phase on them consistently?
Also I run on my Spirit BBQC, MYC, Ruin or Discordance, and PGTW or Whispers. Most of these perks are quite commonly used more then the rough 5% in fact I use each one of these almost every game several times.

Yes.
Anyone that says no just doesn't understand how to use Stridor properly.
The thing to remember is that you want to use Stridor for a direction not distance. Survivors will always sound much closer than they really are, all you should concern yourself with is what DIRECTION is the sound coming from. Once you understand this and get good with it, you can find survivors very easily from a full tile away.
However I would agree with the sentiment that you should practice playing her without Stridor just to get the basics down. Once you feel like you are doing pretty good with her, then use Stridor. You will need to adjust a little, but again DIRECTION not distance.
I can do this without Stridor with my headset so I honestly think it's a wasted slot, but I'll try your advice man and maybe I'll get even better. Do you still pop out on them?
-
With Hex Ruin I would suggest just working through it. Nothing makes a wasted perk like being in a chase with ruin up and have several gens pop because survivors are good at doing gens. With how common Ruin is you should be used to it by now. Its easy to learn how to fight through Ruin just feels super time consuming.

Confrontation? Do you mean confirmation?
Ya I fixed it not sure why my phone autocorrects words spelt correctly into different words so often.
-
New chapters, Sounds were fixed for a small time, bugs introduced, new cosmetics some of which were real good, dedicated servers mentioned and tested, freddy rework goes to beta next week, Bill and cosmetics going to console, Stranger Things plus DBD possibility spoiled just awaiting confirmation. Aside from that my growing surprise the team who deals with Quality Assurance and the team who deals with Bugs still have a job after all this time.
-
Strider is a bad perk on her honestly.
-
Honestly anything except blindness. Huntress has a range of great addons just play what you thinks fun. Shes one of the few killers who really wont ever need addons to still be good.
Exhaustion and Hindered are a good combo when learning though.

All I ever wanted from No Mither was
No Pools of Blood, Grunts of pain sounds reduced by 70% to 75%, No broken status shown to killer, but shows to your teammates. When you first start the game your in a healthy state, but after being injured your no longer able to be healed up to healthy. Increased Bloodpoints by 100% in the post trial similar to a BPS, BBQC, and WGLF. If you want to play hard mode I think you should be rewarded for it.

Who needs the old downvote button!
I bring moris for 3 reasons
1 It's a daily. why is it always Huntress though always Huntress D: makes me bring a super toxic build yes you all know the one. Luckily shes my secondary killer xD
2 most frequent Someone didn't ready up in the lobby while everyone else did quite fast. Wasting everyone's time for the full duration. I have never thrown a game to mori someone though oddly I usually find said person first on my immediate gen patrol.
3 I started a lobby and my gut Instinct says bring a Mori.

It's supposed to be unlikely to escape through an exit gate. This is honestly the 3rd chance for survivors. Your team was unable to do generators in time. You couldn't find the hatch first. And now your 3rd chance is the gates. The killer is supposed to have the advantage after sucessfully stopping the survivors from doing gens and getting to hatch first.
I 100 percent agree except I would like it so doors wont spawn on certain maps on the same wall or in relatively close proximity to one another. I dislike it as both survivor and killer.
Honestly I wish Hatch still didnt spawn till at least 2 gens were done in a game regardless. It rewards bad players for doing nothing and punishes good killers for doing a good job.
I've had games with randoms as a survivor that will do good, but right after a survivor dies they immediately stop doing anything productive and start hiding in purple and red ranks. While good survivors do the stuff and get punished for it because they were productive.
As killer I have destroyed a team before even one gen has been done, but hatch can still spawn. Doesn't that just give people incentive to switch from being productive to basically just lingering in the background since they can try to get the free exit and if they don't complain.
TLDR: I agree with you except doors should have a proximity check to one another. Hatch should not spawn unless 2 generators are done so survivors still have to be productive in the game.

The only reason you feel that way is because survivor addons have been nerfed into the ground. BNP was great but is now worthless. Survivors dont bring items or offerings into games because there is generally no point anyway. You can just Franklins the item out of their hands regardless.
It would be nice if they reduced killer addons in price simply because its consumed after each game actually I really wish they would do this across the boards, but as a survivor I really couldn't care less. I don't play survivor to earn blood points I play survivor because I want to play with friends.
Honestly bloodpoints are not the issues in this game. I do feel Killers should have more overall bloodpoints for each trial, but it should not be to the point it makes a blood hunt completely killer sided.

Legacy still won't happen. I don't want to rain on any parades, but legacy was a thing to reward people for leveling up with the old bloodwebs, back when it was much more expensive and took significantly longer. The consoles versions came out after the legacy cut-off date.
I wouldn't say "never" for the exclusives part, although it's a fairly low priority. We tend not to do exclusives anymore as to not exclude console players.
I would love a chance to get some of the exclusives from the past. Mostly the ones for my beloved Feng Min.
Personally Legacy should remain as is a thing of the past for the people who ave truly earned it. People today seem to not understand that you earn the right in games that are a few years older or more to have some of these limited edition items. Though I do understand that some of these people would love console exclusives as well for the hard work they have put in.
As a result maybe instead of making legacy you do a console version for every character currently out and let anyone with a p3 character with all perks have these console style outfits for a single Killer and Single Survivor. This gives console players some ground to say "we had our chance and we got it" leaving anyone who didnt have one knowing they had a chance at one time and it's no longer available.

Hiho, maybe it just feels like, but I think this perk is pretty op in SWF groups, if you are able to use it.
Had a survivor with this the other day on rank reset. It let me snowball the game so hard it was a joke. I would of anyways due to the skill difference, but the time spent searching vs the instant sight of OoO came into play and quickly progressed the game.
Long story short OoO is a double edged sword. If you know how to use it though it could be amazing.
-
I like the idea behind the whole DS nerf but I really think it needs to be reconsidered. This whole 60 seconds to use thing is BS.
I would agree with that and be ok with the change provided it also stated
"if another survivor is hooked or put into the dying state your DS becomes inactive until the next time you are unhooked. This perk remains inactive if your the last survivor alive."
That way if your tunneled and good at looping it will remain for the duration, but if your just being stupid and want a free second chance its removed. This also means they can't wait 60 seconds and pick you up.

I believe they said they are already looking into door spawns and making it more fair. Though, if you got to the Endgame, you shouldn't be favored to win, it should be stacked against you.
What the man said is borderline true. Failed to finish all 5 gens with the squad, so you get hatch, failed to get hatch get a second chance at a door. Bad door spawns well that sucks. Each becomes progressively harder as it should be. Solo or Grouped up the team which includes all Survivors has failed. I do agree that door spawns need to be fixed though.
-
Feng Min makes me feel bad shes my main. I always debate for a moment before killing them.
-
It happened because of a killer only DLC dropping so people are playing him. Then the 103% extra BP 3rd Anniversary offering. Before that 2x BP event. These all overlapped making a massive surge in killers play.
As farming Blood points is relatively a collosial waste of time outside of Killer. This makes every person who's aware of this play killer leaving SWF groups, Dailies, Solo Players who dont like killer or are unaware.
-
I have my own personal rules I follow as killer no camping and no tunneling, but generally the only one that's broken is the no tunneling since when I get back to the hook if your the only one still there well imma hit ya you dont get a free pass. Same when I play Pig your RBT does not give you a free pass if I run across ya.
My biggest rule is if everyone, but you in the lobby is ready you got 10 seconds till I bring a mori and I'm happy to use it.
-
Guiding Overview should just be added to Jeff's aftercare at base tbh.
Love the concepts though.

@Peanits said:
Unfortunately that's not really something we can "fix" outright. In this case, the reason why you're finding lobbies instantly as survivor but not as killer is because there are a lot of people trying to play killer right now- so many that there aren't enough survivors to fill all of their lobbies. Even if the matchmaking was 100% perfect, we can't fill lobbies if there's not enough people to fill them.
This is something we're going to try to keep in mind going forward, though. Certain things do tend to cause people to play one side over the other, so we could try to plan things in a way that balances that out a bit more.
Best way to honestly fix the issue for Survivor BP gains and if not that don't have a new killer only dlc drop during 2 different overlapping events. Either way how do I report the fact the BBQ and Chili is bugged as is WGLF during these events so I can be reimbursed for the lost BP. ?
-
Being Huntress then shes my second favorite killer. XD I would say I have a horrible video of me getting her Adept on ps4 my second time playing her if that counted xD

Spirit with MYC is an amazing combo.
-
The best way to improve Totems is to make them objects that would appear in the map instead of a universal look.
A Chalkboard in the school
Mattress in Haddonfield
ETC
That would make them harder to locate as well. Making some hexs actually viable not just going "shiny"

I'm speaking for survivors specifically.
Honestly I was surprised how dropping it by 1 section has changed higher ranks.
-
Borrowed Time is good as it will be for awhile honestly since it was Nerfed yet still very strong and viable. DS actually puts the Obsession onto a survivor at Random not you specifically though the chance is higher. You not bringing DS wouldn't stop them from bringing Rancor and it can still attach to you without DS. Only using DS will it guarantee you to become obsession.

I've played pretty evenly close to a 50/50 split in my 400 hours. I've never had a killer tell me to kill myself (irl). Or that he hopes I get cancer. Or that he hopes I die in a car crash. If I get anything other than GG, its usually 'that was crazy'. I've never even had a killer gg ez.
I have had, on numerous occasions, survivors tell me to kill myself, that they hope I die of cancer or in a car crash, or that I die in a fire. I've had well over 100+ gg ez's from survivors.
Stop claiming both sides are toxic; they aren't.
I have noticed this honestly the more I play killer. I have had a few killers like that, but it's not even comparable to the amount from survs honestly.
-
Dark Souls meets Dead by Daylight the new parry system begins yay. This mechanic is amazing, but once you get the timing down basically just means the end of survs in general.

Problem is that same generator increase will hurt newer players and scare newer people away.. So the only logical way to do that is add generator penalties based on rank and simultaneously add rank rewards that matter that takes your current rank for the season divided by the number of games you had at each rank over the season. That way you cant get deranker who only rank up the last few days for good rewards.
