DS. It's so anti tunneling that it's great

How would you feel if they reduced Oni’s demon dash startup time from 2.00 secs to 1.50 secs then nerfed Scalped Topknot to only Reduce 0.25 seconds off of the demon dash.
I feel the base kit Oni power is too weak for what it can do. The base kit charge time of 2 seconds is too long, and only for 45 seconds of your ability, which might get wasted a lot with looping and pallets pre dropped is not enough

For reference the tiers are S,A,B,C,F for reference Spirit, Huntress, Doctor, Legion, Trapper. At the moment I'd put Trickster at F tier I see many moments an M1 is better and his power doesn't seem lethal enough at the moment to justify him being slow. And if you aren't in the open. You'll lose the laceration quickly. But, what do you think?
Maybe B tier? Not a m1 killer anyway

this is exactly why the game is not ready at the moment. Just with RNG luck for tampered timer and sketch/gears pig can have a guaranteed kill 20% of the times if it is the last box to search. That's it

Which? Anyway it could be the second chapter

It's never gonna be. Thank God. I love it just as it is- a casual fun game.
Or casual stress as killer.
Casual doesn't mean it has to be unbalanced, first. Second, nobody ever said it to be a casual game

I still play, but definitely not as much as I did and also not as long. My main issue at the moment is the matchmaking. I’m currently rank 2 and I’m finding it a lot where I’m against a rank 1 killer and my teammates are all rank 10 or below and they just get slaughtered. It’s just no fun for me not being able to do anything because my teammates are constantly down / hooked and I’m the only one going for saves.
The upside is I’ve started making my way through some games I had on hold because DBD was distracting me lol. Currently playing Avengers and it’s actually really nice and peaceful playing a single player game lol.
Me fallout 4

Before the first maybe dumb comment, ain't leaving the game, read the whole post

It's impossible to deny the backlash that the majority of the community (survivors) have voiced over the unwanted, heartless, and ignorant decisions made to install Patch 4.5.0. This patch included a multitude of features and changes that were pointed out by many prominent Twitch streamers to be detrimental to DBD... and then, regardless of those concerned paying community member voices, the patch was still put through. It was put through so console players could get a feel for what they already saw on professional streams. And the majority of those console players also did not want Patch 4.5.0 to go through; but it still went through. As a result, many of those same prominent Twitch streamers and console gamers have taken a break from the game. Some temporary breaks, some permanent breaks. Will Patch 4.5.2 change all that?
Why Patch 4.5.2 May Be The Comeback of dbd:
• If changes are made to the HUD, UI, Hit-boxes, Locomotion, etc. (everything that was begged not to be put through) that reflect the pre-patch norm... then more loyal community members may come back. They may come back because some of those changes "fixed" things that were not broken, and those changes in turn broke the game. The loyal community members want to come back to a game that is not broken, where their voices are put into reflective action. They want to come back to a game where they can have fun.
Why patch 4.5.2 may be the downfall of dbd:
• People understand that everyone makes mistakes, we're human. But to not right those wrongs (Patch 4.5.0) towards an entire community is a display of self-righteousness, heartlessness, and ignorance.
• The community wants to feel their opinions heard and implemented, not tip-toed around.
• If Patch 4.5.2 still tip-toes around and dodges mass requests of a loyal community, then numbers may still decline. They'll decline because people care about democracy. People care about having their feelings and needs met. But as I've said, people care about having fun and creating lasting bonds and memories. But a bond with DBD won't be possible if people are taking permanent breaks from the game.
what do you think dbd community? what will be the impact of patch 4.5.2?
I hope

Personally with God Pallets galore it's survivor Sided. Gens are easier to find. Although it's easier to find survivors.
No matter what otz says there are too many god pallets, 6/7 each time. And billions of other insanely safe pallets. not a good map
-
As a m1 killer you need an insane amount of skill to face really good survivors, to the point where winning as trapper against comp players is something out of this world, seriously.
EDIT: Btw YES, dbd is a game which requires skill. Play at 1 am cross play disabled on pc with wraith, you won't win 20 games consecutively, I promise

93% vs 7$. This is huge

Which update in your opinion was worse?
Twins had nothing but bugs. This reworked 3 maps, even if badly imo(I can still change idea), but still now the size of asylum and the amount of pallets on the game can be lowered by a ton

It's TOO BIG

Yes, they used the term for an adjacent mechanic to describe it, we know, don't worry.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1927708#Comment_1927708
I'm assuming they're referring to the psychopaths who attempt to 360 the husk as you spawn in to make you miss a lunge. In this case it would use both auto-aim and aim dressing
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1927713#Comment_1927713
Yes. It dresses every swing near any object, apparently. Walls, people, crates, walls, hooks, walls.
If I can walk in a straight line, have my hand off camera controls, and swing with a keyboard binding near a survivor, nine times out of ten it will move my camera. Tell me, how does my camera move to hit the wall next to me if I'm not moving it myself? Is my aim so truly terrible that I can psychically miss, perhaps?

I haven't played survivor in a long time but got to do so today. Played like 8 matches so far. I had the opportunity to use DS just once. But it was a very satisfying one. I was on my dying hook, fully infected and there were 2 gens left with 3 people alive. Got to use the DS literally last second and managed to run away. The game ended with a 2K for the killer and me living to tell the story. The rush it gave me felt awesome. Tapping a generator or picking someone up from the ground mid chase shouldn't take away this feeling. It being used 1/8 matches with the perk wasting a slot in the other 7 is not strong imo. Just like ruin. It can be cleansed in the first 20 seconds or be a pita the whole match. I play killer more than survivor btw, this is not a biased entitled survivor making the poll.
Too strong, end of the story

Calm Spirit is one of the most situational perks in the game, however when in that situation, it's quite oppressive against The Doctor's biggest strength - his great tracking. Doctor does have a way to circumvent Calm Spirit but it's not always going to be available.
By the way I'm going to be doing these kinds of polls a lot to just generally get a large amount of ideas that we, the community have thought of for some of the more underpowered perks in the game.
Would you buff Calm Spirit or Rework it in some way? If so, how?
It needs a buff, it can't be good only be good to counter infectious fright and doctor basically
Crows aren't so powerful either
-
Come on guys we need more voices to hear us!

That's the cut soundfile for Myers when stalking.
The reason it was removed in the first place was because it would just alert the Survivors of Myer's presence when stalking them and because of that, it would become nothing more than a liability for Myers.
While it may be more true towards Myer's character, gameplay-wise however it will just end up being more of a hindrance than a benefit.
This.

I'd rather say none, but ds unbreakable will be still too strong

OoO does not work through undetectable, only revealing survivor's position to the killer but not vice versa.
Old object would still give you the direction of undetectable killers, always.

The periodic Timer is kind of interactive, but not very interactive.
Seeing the Killers Aura anytime they see yours is a bit broken. At the moment it will neuter PH using I'm all Ears. Will counter various Killer add-ons, all passively.
Overall better than it is currently though.
We'll have to test it. Remember that this is the only use of the perk. That's it. No aura perks, you're screwed, except the obsession

Chill out, they said that they will be looking into improving the new UI after the mid-chapter update
Jesus, bhvr is not your slave
I've changed the title to be more fair in general, after the nerf proposal of nerfing ds and object we can't deny they listen, but geez why this UI?
-
Never. Bubba main here and he is not overpowered. Especially on autohaven and other maps where I think a small change to his charges recharge time should be needed
-
@Lycidas said:

Never treated them as slaves, I respect them, but if I have a really big critic I say it.
You've got a point, but I'll still keep this post, because if the UI will always be as it is now, then no they wouldn't have listened to us
-
Btw this was probably one of the best Q&A they did in a while, tons of good questions answered, but this new UI is not well seen by the informed part of the community
-
@bm33 said:
They should've pushed back the release of the new UI and made adjustments based on feedback. It's not something that is necessary to push out the way it is. It's not like delaying a DLC which would delay the income for that period. I'm not surprised they're forcing the new UI onto the live version, but I am disappointed.
There's always the chance for it to be changed before the mid chapter patch, but it's not gonna happen, not in a week, and because they didn't mention anything about any improvements of it apart colorblind

@WishIcouldmain said:
This map is devoid and completely negates Balanced Landing so adding a hill would give a good vantage point and allow balanced to be used. So I think yes.
Yes, maybe in the centre of the map why not. Or in some crazy good place where it's cool to see and it's useful
-
I really like the change personally, I'd change a bit the Obsession part to actually inform the killer when he's being revealed.
@Peanits Really good change, my congrats to who thought the new perk I'm serious

@WishIcouldmain said:
This one was genuinely tricky for me. So forgive me for error. The killer meta is usually more diverse. And genuinely none make me upset I guess Noed. But I did one for survivor so might as well do killer. I won't add a perk good on one killer since Stridor mainly good on Spirit. But Infectious Fright can work on many. Will leave PGTW and Undying since they got their changes recently. Bottom ones have to specify.
Noed is so unfair, as well as ds unbreakable. Rework it devs

@WishIcouldmain said:
Yeah I think so but what do you think?
Just one word: object sniping across the map

@Crypticghoul said:
There are some maps where you actually do not have enough time to check the boxes if you end up getting the fourth.
I recently died to this on Gas Heaven and due to the gas station door not being kicked down and a box being on the other side of the car wall, it was not physically possible to check all 4 boxes without getting great on every skill check.
