  • My cousins got me into the game. They were HUGE fans, and I had never played it. So they were like "Why don't you give it a try." I spent my whole try match hiding in a locker from a Huntress.

The first DLC I bought though was Stranger Things. I really love that show, and man did I want to play Demo and Nancy. Alas, I was a terrible Demo and instead of practicing i moved on to Myers (who I was TOLD was the strongest killer in the game.) Halloween was the second DLC I bought. Followed by Saw (Surveillance sounded like the best perk in the game) and Leatherface. The rest is history.

That's my general experience. Not to say there aren't Chill Bubba's or Toxic Pig's. But overall experience. I'm always more surprised when I run into a nice Bubba or a truly nasty Legion.

  • I want to Buff Solo because then you could, in turn, buff killer. Buffing killer without buffing Solo just makes solo more miserable.

  • It's going to be Wesker.

    Respectfully, I have to disagree.

This is handing survivors a free opportunity to escape, and promoting an incredibly unhealthy playstyle.

Survivors who do not engage the objective, and force the killer to play hide-n-seek for minutes on end, have not earned (and therefore should not be given) a chance to survive the trial.

Survivors need to understand that they are responsible for fixing the generators, and they need to continue doing so, even if the stakes have become higher. Nothing is more frustrating than a single survivor chasing a killer for 10 minutes while the only other survivor alive crouches in some corner.

It would be in the killer's hands. It gives the killer a way to 'give up' without Disconnecting or going AFK. It would start the EGC (Giving survivors 3 minutes to open the exit gates and get out, as if the hatch had been closed). It'd have to power the exit gates, because otherwise it could be abused on the killer's side. It'd also force them to the exit gate, where the killer could, you know, kill them.

  • Sorry if I don't want to take chase against infinite tier 3 tombstone myers on a map where getting stalk is very easy with teammates who just let him stalk them.

I do feel like they should give the killer the option to power the exit gates, though, if a certain amount of time has passed. Say 15 minutes into the game.

  • I mean in the RE games you often run from enemies. Especially when you're low on ammo. And seeing as they don't have guns in the entity's realm, they don't have much choice.

I mean if Ash Mother [BAD WORD REMOVED] Williams can fit in DBD, then anyone from RE could fit.

  • The Game map is fine unless you're scared of a two second pallet stun.

  • I do. It's a bit like Solo Queue, but you know your teammates probably won't leave you on the hook. And you might have an idea of what perks they're running.

  • Jill Valentine:

    Master Of Unlocking

For every Totem you cleanse, gain a stack. For each stack you have in the end game, open the exit gates 6/8/10% faster.

The thing is it’s more of a horror for Demogorgan because it’s Haddonfield.

If the killers could talk outside of trials...

    Freddy: "So, where's everyone from?"

    Demogorgon: "RAWR!"

Freddy: "Upside down? Where the hell is that?"

    Huntress: "Freddy understand funny doggy?"

    Freddy: "Well, I'm from Springwood."

    Leatherface: "Texas! *cannibal laugh*"

    Freddy: "How about you Mikey?"

Doctor: *Doctor Laugh* Yeah, where are you from?

    Myers: "Haddonfield."

Freddy: "Well #########, no wonder you're so evil."

  • I imagine we'll get two survivors because more legendary skins to sell.

Haddonfield red forest the swamp lery's and hawkins forgot about them?

Hawkins isn't getting reworked and Lerys was the first one reworked.

  • We could get one male and one female survivor. LIke we did with the Stranger Things chapter. More legendary skins to sell that way.

  • Capcom probably wanted to announce it. I mean that's the obvious answer. This is RE's 25th Anniversary and DBD's 5th Anniversary. Pretty big event on both ends.

  • I can't see them NOT giving us a map for this one.

  • To be fair, every single licensed chapter has been pretty fire.

  • Run for the people and empathy. When someone goes down, pick them up with For the People.

  • Survivor - IDK probably Dwight. Maybe Feng, since she's a gamer.

Killer - Probably Twins. Charlotte hates everyone, and I'd find Victor disgusting which would probably piss her off.

  • Killer Sensitivity is at 70, which seems to be just right for me. Any more and it moves too fast. Any less and it moves too slow. But I'm on PS5. On PS4 the framerates were just so bad at any level.

For Survivor, it's just at 50. I've never felt like I needed more.

I don't think you are getting it. Let's say you double the time it takes to do gens. Now every second, survivors get a buff that stacks that increases repair speeds by 1%. This makes it so that first gen takes a bit longer. Now, let's say you get your down and hook on someone. Then they get unhooked and you tunnel. During this time the other survivors are now doing 2.5x speed on gens and pop a few. So you down and hook the same guy again you are tunneling, then get DSed. You chase again. Now survivors have 3x speed on gens. You down and hook the guy, then tunnel him off hook. Now survivors are 4x on gens.

You get the idea, but if you ignore the other survivors, you are going to lose the game much more quickly than you do now.

This sounds like a good idea on paper, but I think ultimately it just encourages people to leave people on the hook longer.

    • Hag is S tier up with Nurse and Spirit
    • Rat Liver is overrated
    • Rule Set 2 is a waste of add-on
    • Trapper should NOT be able to start with all of his traps. Two at base kit? Yes. But not all of them.
    • Demogorgon's buffs probably move him up to bottom of B Tier
    • Trickster is probably no longer the worst killer.

If you see many flashlight, I would prefer lightborn to franklins. Or play evil and take both with you :D. Lightborn makes for really chill games against flashlights, and often you get free hits / downs when survs do not realize you have it.

Don't have lightborn on most of my killers unfortunately.

  • Corrupt is way too random IMO. Sometimes you'll get a really bad spread from Corrupt, and it kinda sucks.

I'd give early game slowdown. First minute of the game survivors suffer a 50% debuff to repair speed and are oblivious. (Totem cleansing speed also debuffed). Killers should also be given some kind of direction to go, which would be helpful in gaining early game pressure.

  • I used to run it all the time. But I don't now, cause I can usually count on someone else running it. And if they aren't, it's not a BIG deal. Usually I can get some sense for where my teammates are and if I should be going for the unhook. Plus, I feel like when I run it my teammates don't use it optimally.

  • I'd question: Why? Pallet stuns are literally bugged right now. (Even though they were supposed to fix it) so it's unreliable at best.

  • Best suggestion is to get BBQ on killers you are good with. Then play mainly killer for the BP. +100% BP per match is AMAZING.

  • Replace Smash Hit with Sprint Burst, Dead Hard or Lithe depending on which you feel most comfortable with.

Replace Fast track with pretty much any good perk. You can't go wrong with Iron Will, Prove Thyself, Spine Chill, Detective's Hunch (so you can find totems for your inner strength easier. Small Game also works). Decisive STrike is good to run just to make sure there's an obsession.

  • Survivor Side: Not really. I'm okay at looping, but some killers I still don't know how to counter. Put me against a decent Deathslinger, Huntress, Bubba, or Hillbilly, and I really don't know what I'm doing. Especially if I'm not near a window. I'll get bodied against most decent to good killers. I panic way too much. I'm closer to a Purple Rank survivor.

Killer Side: Oh definitely NOT. I get bullied by flashlight squads pretty easily, even when I bring Franklin's. Even on killer sided maps. I also play WAY too nicely. I'm closer to a Green Rank killer if I'm being honest. I make way too many stupid mistakes, and haven't learned to mindgame yet.

  • Yeah, it's been happening to me a few times. My ping is low 30's btw. One random disconnect (5 minute penalty, whatever), and a couple really laggy matches. The other players noticed it too. First case, had a survivor message me saying there was a lag switcher or something. (I thought they were accusing me at first, but in hindsight I don't think they were.) The lag was REALLY bad, I even recorded part of the match just cause I thought there was a lag switcher too. Second match was me as survivor, and my SWF teammate (on another console) also experienced the lag. (Had trouble hitting skill checks, and figuring out where to go.)

  • Only played two games today.

First one against an Oni. Someone DC'd 2ish minutes into a match. Oni had one guy downed, then downed another. Stayed at the hook with the last guy on the floor so I pretty much couldn't do much of anything. He of course downed me. I kobe, and he downs me again (because he's waiting at the hook). SUPER FUN GAMEPLAY.

Second one against a Trickster. Game lasts a little longer. But eventually two survivors DC, Trickster Mori's me, and yeah. We had 3 gens done, not really sure why they DC'd.

Two games. 3 DC's. The Solo Queue experience.

  • I think this patch is pretty hype.

Freddy's nerf is pretty meh, but nothing unexpected for the most part. Still don't think they should've reduced the number of fake pallets. And while they did nerf Rat Tail, they gave Demo some really interesting add-ons that are definitely worth using. And they buffed his mobility a bit. I think the changes to Demo overall are good. Iri Head finally getting a nerf. (I dread facing Huntresses for the next 3 weeks...) OoO finally getting a nerf. Small Game gets a much desired totem counter. The twins change is the one really bad thing, and doesn't really fix any problems related to them. It only makes them worse. BT going to work against Stealth Killers now. And of course -- the best thing about the patch, the hook struggle fix. This is also big for killers, because now survivors can't suicide immediately on second hook to give the last guy the hatch.

  • Hit the person coming for the unhook before they unhook.

If there's multiple people left alive, then they're probably going to just body block anyway.

  • I usually let survivors get their glyphs if I see them there.

Just wish someone would let me GRAB THEM. I only need ONE

  • Guess I'll be using all my keys. If it's an Iri Head Huntress, I'll use the key. If it's not I won't use it even if I'm the last survivor.

    Honestly? Because of this:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/AVVLDWLIDSTB/image.png

That's all they care about, the statistics. They don't care about much else.

Kills because people disconnect because they just dislike Freddy, kills because he is just too easy to play, how effective they are against actual good survivor groups, their hooks or how they do in chase- it's all just about the kills pretty much.

Sure, all they care about is statistics. That's why we have a Nurse Buff incoming. Also disconnects aren't even counted in the statistics. I disagree with the Freddy nerf's direction, but he's definitely someone who needed to be looked at.

  • Lately I play with Corrupt, Pop, BBQ + Chili + STBFL. I love STBFL on Doc, because his cooldown is SO SLOW.

If I see 4 items in the lobby I'll bring Franklin's. Survivors are SUPER greedy for their items.

  • Agree 1000% with the person who said we should get chase points for being in chase with Victor. That's one of the MOST ANNOYING things about facing the Twins.

  • Rancor gives you fair warning unless you like DS just before the last gen pops. Or maybe if you're running Dark Sense. (What is it with Rancor and perks with the initials DS)

I remember a Spirit leaving me on the floor with Rancor. She had me downed, then went for someone else. I crawled through the exit gates. Some of the most tense moments of the game ever. (Maybe only eclipsed by the Infinite Tier 3 Myers I had the other day who also had tombstone and actually got his tier 3 pretty fast. The map was Midwich, which is hard to hide in.)

It's a mostly fair perk. Maybe if they reworked the obsession calculations so that people with no obsession perks are actually less likely to be obsession. (Seriously, why is it when 3 people run Decisive, and I run no obsession perks, I'm always the obsession?)

  • Corn Maps are pretty good for survivor.

Swamp Maps are bad for both sides. I hate playing Swamp Maps no matter which side I'm on. As killer, it's hard to find survivors. As survivor, stealth is practically your only option.

  • There's several reasons a separate SWF Queue would never work.

#1. It divides the player base in a way that shouldn't happen. We're already divided into Killers vs Survivors. This would only further divide us into Solo Queue vs SWF Queue.

#2. You want to play in a group of 3? Too bad! No one person is going to join a group of 3 in a mode that is built around the ability of people to communicate when you can't communicate with the other people. Even 2 groups of 2 would be at a disadvantage. And not every group of friends wants to play with Comms.

#3. only Sweaty SWF Teams could play with their friends. Just want to mess around with your friend who plays once a week and is rank 16? Too bad!

#4. More work for the devs. Who now have to work killers to fit both a SWF mode and Solo mode.

Dropping pallets while kidnapping Victor isn't defense, its dragging a toxic method out longer than it should be

"You toxic survivors! Trying to use strategy is TOXIC"

  • I think that'd be too strong.

Maybe increase the requirement to 6. But let safe unhooks count toward gaining a 'token'. (I know it's not exactly token based, but you get my idea I hope). Like if you get 4 safe unhooks, and two protection hits, Mettle procs.

  • Some of these challenges are like that.

Grabs are another. But at least you don't have to do them in the same match.

  • What killers do you have? That would help.

  • It happens quite frequently with Freddy. Had two survivors DC on me one day as soon as they got on a Gen. (I had one slowdown add-on because I was trying for an archive challenge, though I forget which ATM). I decided to farm with the other two, cause would've sucked to be them and get no points because your teammates are cowards.
