  • My experience was much different when I kept track of stats. Solely playing in Solo Queue, my escape rate was about 60% (at red ranks). The number of gens that got done was much higher.

I've compiled some statistics through 100 games of Crossplay. Obviously, these statistics are pretty meaningless because the number of games isn't nearly large enough to be represenative. I'd like to change that, so if anyone is interested in keeping track of their own stats, that'd be much appreciated. But it's quite a bit of work, so I understand why people might not be interested.

Honestly, these are just fun stats to go through, and think about. Of note, I did NOT include my own survivor perks in the perk list, as that would skew the stats toward my build (Which is usually Kindred, Iron Will, Spine Chill and either Detective's Hunch, We'll Make It, or Borrowed Time.) Obviously Jeff's don't have a 100% escape rate, it's just the few Jeff's I ran into (all two of them) managed to escape.

All games were while I was Red or Purple Rank. I did not include a game if the killer or survivor disconnected so as not to skew the kill stats in favor of DC's. (Of which there are likely many. Had 3 people all DC in a game just a little bit ago as matter of fact.)

    • On Average, survivors (including me) earned 18,328 Bloodpoints
    • On Average, I earned 19,428 Bloodpoints
    • Worst Killer BP was a Pyramid Head who earned only 9085 Bloodpoints. He used Lead Ring and Copper Ring on Family Residence.
    • Worst Survivor BP was a Cheryl who earned 1625 Bloodpoints against a Spirit on Ironworks of Misery with Prayer Beads and Wakizashi Saya and a Mori. The Cheryl only had one perk: Repressed Alliance.

Again, these stats don't say too much one way or another as they're only representative of my experience on the US East Coast, and the number of games are truly low. So they should be taken with large amounts of salt. But given we're on the DBD forums, there's always plenty of salt to go around.

Here's the topic I made on it.

  • Twins.

If they're good, you spend most of the match on the ground. You don't get points for being chased by Victor.

    Clown is a close second.

  • All perks don't need a counter.

  • Tunneling Twins are the only one I suicide on hook against.

  • My predictions:

    • 2 survivors, 1 killer
    • New Map
    • PTB goes live after the dev stream
    • Roadmap includes Perk Reworks and Reducing the Grind
    • Preview of Finished versions of the last 3 maps to be reworked (Red Forest, Haddonfield, Swamp)
    • Everyone gets 555,555 BP login bonus for logging in during the event. 55,555 BP Code announced in the stream available for 48 hours
    • Another killer rework announced

  • Endgame Collapse serves its purpose just fine. It prevents survivors from taking the game hostage.

  • Survivor: Aya Brea

    Killer: Eve

    Map: The Operahouse

  • This was just a straight up chase, with no use of powers or perks. Also with absolutely no need to conserve resources. If you're playing like that in actual games, then I don't know what to say.

Are you a survivor or killer main? Or do you play both equally?

    Are you a good sport?

Do you feel the need to max out all of your characters with all perks and prestige them?

Do you get tilted when playing this game?

    Do you buy cosmetics?

I am a player who would be considered a good sport (most of the time at least) and who plays both sides equally. I myself feel the need to max out all of my characters and I can get very tilted when playing this game (but never take my anger out on anyone, I just say gg with tears in my eyes). I also don't really buy cosmetics because it is far more satisfying to earn them and don't feel like supporting BHVR, at least right now.

    1. I play both pretty equally.
    2. I can be a good sport sometimes. I've never sent someone a message that says "CAMPER" or "GENRUSHER" unless I get a message first.
    3. Yes. I've had to get every perk on every character twice because I moved over from Switch, too. Just now starting to prestige killers. Only have one survivor prestiged.
    4. Sometimes. I try not to. Some players just make you mad, though.
    5. I've bought a couple cosmetics. Not many. The Look See. Pig's black leather jacket. Spirit's Schoolgirl. American Kate. Might buy a legendary for Resident Evil if they have one I really want.
  • I feel like the buff Self-Care needs is to show your aura to other survivors within a certain radius while injured. Kind of like a reverse empathy. That way they know "Come heal me instead of me wasting time healing myself'

  • Dante appears in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.

This should give you a good idea of Capcom.

With a single discharge of corrupt purge action down all 4 survivors.

must be completed in one match.

  • I feel like the person designing challenges never actually plays the game.

We also have to down 2 survivors within 60 seconds of each other TWICE while using infectious fright.

  • "Remember when survivor perks only gave 5% on a gen?"

You mean back when insta-gens were a thing?

  • Botany Knowledge.

  • You would've lost to solos, too tbh. I watched your video. You made a lot of mistakes. Instead of owning up to them and learning from them, you just complain about SWF. Which wasn't even really an issue outside of MAYBE smurfing.

  • The problem with Solo is that survivors don't take the information they have and use it. Your teammates can at times be unreliable. They don't pay attention to how the killer acts. No matter how much information you give them, I don't think you'll ever really bring them closer to SWF. Because outside of communication, the biggest advantage of SWF is having teammates you can rely on all the time. (Cept when they sandbag you)

  • I don't see anything the survivors did that was unfair, except maybe team up with their red-rank pal to get a lower rank killer. Of course with Rank Reset being a roulette, that might be the issue here. Also those groups can and do often get Red Rank killers too.

You made quite a few mistakes, including running a loops in a way that allows survivors to get more use out of them. You also really need to learn to get more out of a chase. At one point you abandon the shack to go back to the hook, instead of trying to force the shack pallet -- which comes back to bite you later on. There's nothing wrong with going back to the hook, but sometimes a pallet is worth more than a save and if you can get them to drop shack pallet that's a huge resource to expend.

These are things you'll learn with time. (Better to learn now, though, than later. Because bad habits are harder to break when you've been at them a long time)

  • If you played well, but got paired up with 3 potatoes then I'll probably spare you. I recognize skill.

If you boop the snoot, I'll probably spare you.

If I thought you had a rough game, I'll probably spare you.

Often I'll just let the last person have the exit gates anyway. As long as they weren't rude.

  • Devs: Here's a FOV slider.

(Slider goes from 87 to 75)

  • No, it's not Toxic. It will probably upset the killer, though. Much like camping isn't Toxic, but it'll probably upset the survivor.

    @Warcrafter4 said:

Its not toxic its just annoying when someone stalks you for the entire game to try to get them.

I'll take the person following me around all game every time. Cause they aren't working on gens.

  • He might not have known about it. I didn't know about it until I read the boards. Luckily I did, cause I got mine as killer by complete accident. Saw the gnome, smashed it. I was playing Pig, and the survivor with an RBT on their head opened the gate. Her head popped and I just shook my head. Another survivor escaped without me noticing, then I ran into THE GNOME and was like "OMG I'm actually going to get it!" and it took a little while for the last survivor to go out the exit gate, but luckily they did. I'd have let them get a gnome, cause I heard another one laugh, but they just left. They might not have known about it either.

As for your 4k Challenge, I'm sure you'll do it again in no time. Though with Rank Reset right now, things are tough. People always play pretty nasty for some reason for the next couple days.

  • It'd be easy to decrease the grind. Just reduce bloodpoint costs across the board by 2000 points. You'd roughly cut the grind in half. Making things easier for new(er) players.

  • You realize that survivors need to escape to keep their gnome... right? So basically if you killed him and got your 4K he wouldn't have kept the gnome you gave him.

  • "You can't be Gen Rushed if you just apply pressure. Gens only get done if you let them get done."

  • I find people don't respond much to how your last game went or whatever, because it doesn't relate much to them. So people tend to stick to what they don't like about the game, or what they're excited about is coming next. Because that's something more people can relate to.

Also DBD players tend to have a habit of needing to vent about their bad games more than talk about their good ones because the bad ones are more memorable. Some games also aren't too memorable or don't have moments that really stand out.

  • 7 on both sides. Was red rank in both sides, so it's not a big deal. Would've been 5 with Rank Reset. Though dear god do I hate rank reset time cause everyone plays their nastiest for some reason at rank reset.

  • For the Dark Devotion challenge, I put on Tinkerer, Dark Devotion, and the perk where you kick a generator and then get the undetectable status effect until someone comes along. Wasn't too hard, but I kinda threw the game trying to get it.

I've completed all killer challenges, and most of the survivor challenges. Currently Tier 13, which is about the pace I was hoping for. Generally you want to get 7 tiers per week.

  • I don't know. I kind of ran into mine on accident.

  • BBQ is not OP at all. It's a pretty fair perk that encourages the killer to leave the hook in exchange for an increase in BP and a bit of information. There's many better combos you could use.

  • Lickers are blind, so I imagine that'd be really weird to have as a killer.

  • Thanks for going to unhook the camped survivor, resulting in you getting hit and then running out the exit gate instead of coming to pick me up away from the hooked survivor, and then we go for the save together and maybe we ALL get out instead of me dying on my first hook.

  • New player experience is pretty bad, especially when they haven't watched anyone else play before to get an idea of what they should be doing. It helps if you have a friend who you can SWF with for a few games before really getting into a solo match. And as killer, you're kind of just thrown to the wolves. The tutorial doesn't help too much, either.

*must escape with a new item of rare quality or higher.

*With No Mither. You must pick yourself up using the perk 3 times.

Escape through the gate when you unhooked 6 survivors, escaped from the hook with deliverance and stunned the killer 6 times.

After three survivors have already left through the exit gate*

Next challenge: Get 6 unhooks. Must be safe unhooks. Complete challenge in a single trial.

6 unhooks, and then escape from the hook with deliverance in a single trial.

  • Leaks.

(I'm not being serious. Just what I'm expecting)

Yeah I guess I could technically count RE now, I was just going by what's currently available. We can throw in RE if that's the one that a lot of people would choose.

For me the first DLC was Silent Hill, then Saw, then Stranger Things. All really solid entries in my opinion.

I got Halloween after Stranger Things. Because I was told Myers was the best killer in the game. (Yeah, I feel lied to!). Also Decisive Strike sounded like the best thing ever even to a newbie like me. Followed by Saw for Surveillance and Leatherface for BBQ+Chili. Though I bought Saw for Surveillance, I became a Pig main because <3 Pig. *boop*

  • Probably Resident Evil. But of current franchises? Stranger Things definitely. It was the first DLC I bought.

  • Next up: Spend 120 seconds in chase in a single trial.

Also: 4 twins challenges to hit people with Victor.

  • I play WAY too much DBD, cause I immediately recognized that as Felix.

  • I think the Devs have said that they're looking into addressing motion sickness in the future. I doubt that it'll be with an FOV slider, because nobody would use anything but the largest FOV. Hopefully they'll be able to implement a motion sickness mode that can accommodate those who face simulator sickness. (I know what it's like, because certain games will make me physically ill if I play them for more than 20 minutes, though DBD is not one of them.)

  • Depends on how the DC happens.

If a survivor DC's on their first hook with 0 Gens done? Yeah, I'll probably take it easy. Farm with the survivors if they want to.

If a survivor DC's on their third hook with a couple gens done? I might let them reset and give them a shot, and let the last one have the hatch.

Had a game yesterday where a Feng dc'd on her third hook. I psuedo tunneled her because she had a key (and I knew it wasn't a green key, cause she kept going back for it after I hit her with Franklin's). I say psuedo tunneled because when I found her each time, it was on BBQ from hooking another survivor, so it's not like I just camped her, and waited to down her again. But every time I saw her going back for that key. I let the rest of them reset after downing them pretty quickly (mostly to make sure they didn't pick up her key)

    • Trapper can carry two traps at base
    • Wraith's uncloaking speed buffed to 1.8 m/s
    • Myers moves 4.4 m/s in Tier 1 now
    • Pig moves 4.0 m/s while crouched now
    • Afterpiece Tonic buffed to 15% movement speed buff
    • For each successful attack in Feral Frenzy, Legion's stun duration is reduced .5 seconds (up to 2 seconds)
    • Demogorgon now takes 1.2 seconds to enter a portal
    • Nightshroud takes 24 seconds to recover instead of 30
    • Knife Wounds no longer decay without survivor interaction
    • While Undetectable, Killers are 50% quieter

  • Signs a Killer has NoED:

#1. There's a secret offering. WHen a killer brings a Mori, they usually bring NoED along with it as backup.

#2. The killer is Hag. NoED is really good on Hag, and most of them will bring it. So if the killer is Hag, do bones. Even I use NoED on Hag sometimes.

#3. The Killer is face camping. Most face campers bring NoED to get a second or third kill when gens get done super fast because they aren't pressuring survivors.

#4. The killer is proxy camping. Proxy Campers tend to bring NoED too.

#5. Ghostfaces tend to bring NoED pretty often too. Even though they can expose you without it, I see it on them a lot.

#6. The Killer isn't paying attention to gens when it's down to one. They don't really care if you get that last one done, chances are they WANT you to get it done.

#7. The last gen pops, and the killer has two survivors in their sights. One is healthy, the other is injured. The healthy survivor is closer. When the two split off, if the killer follows the healthy survivor, the healthy survivor should think to themselves: NOED

#8. The killer does NOT abandon chase during the match. It's a pretty good indicator you should be doing bones.

#9. The Killer isn't sure how to use their power. I know that I use NOED when I'm playing a killer I'm not used to. It's probably going to get you some form of value because gens are going to get done.

#10. If you see multiple indicators, Definitely Do Bones.

  • G-Birkin will be the killer. The 5 is clearly Birkin's arm. Plus William Birkin actually has a name.
