yeah god forbid the killer go after the injured survivor they should turn their back and let the survivor run away to freedom and not try to kill them. someones injured in the game obviously you will go after them. the entitlement is unreal. so the killer should be punished then for trying to kill. i swear this community just gets more stupid over time
If survivors dont get to complain about getting targeted and having their game end quickly I never want to see you complain about gen rushing then. Simple as that. What goes around comes around.

Enduring was made to counter pallet stuns.
Pallet perks, aura reading perks, instadown perks...it's almost as if all these tools are made for killers to go CHASE surviviors. Not just wear near the hook ready to tunnel the hell out of one guy as soon as he's unhooked.
Tunneling is just a tactic used by people too lazy or too bad at the game to play in any other way.
I didn't wanna say it so thank you, you're amazing

"a perk (that can only be used once) "
We have been through all the "just once" garbage. This is not true, because each survivor can equip it and the killer can get hit 4x!
That was the main issue about the bad balance of DS to begin with, I seriously can't believe that we go back to that point of the debate.
Ah the good old SWF exists so solo should suffer paradigm.
Worst argument I've seen you make yet, Wolf. It counts on a survivor by survivor basis not the whole group and that wont change. I'm sorry you have trouble with the new DS dude but you really cant pull that ######### out of your ass when a big problem in this game is solo getting ruined by nerfs to SWF.
I play solo. I dont care lmao

Enduring is for stuns, If Enduring didn't effect it then it's a guarantee and would be abused by SWF end game for essentially free escapes if the gates are open.
A little tip, if you know your going to go down try to get to a window or pallet, even if you slugged. If you're by a window or on a pallet you can get away easily, I've seen it many times. Or Alternatively you could combine it with Dead hard to dodge the next hit and get to a new loop.
Killers hit through vaults and and can grab over pallets easily
This isnt to mention the long animations which make it even harder to escape

"No skill counters like that shouldn't exist."
So please tell me, where was your outrage about "Calm Spirit"?
Survivor do have perks to hard counter killer abilities.
Dead Hard to run over beartraps or Small Game to spot them or spot Hexes with it or use Detective Hunch.
Distortion hard counter any aura reading perk.
For survivor it seems to be ok, right?
I like how every killer main tries to pull these arguments whenever someone mentions this.
I NEVER SAID SURVIVORS DONT HAVE ######### LIKE THIS EITHER.
I hate calm spirit. It invalidates the doctor by existing and it sucks.
The difference is that instead of these perks hard countering survivor perks like it does with killer; it shortens survivor game time exponentially. How would you like it if your game ended in less than 5 minutes because a survivor ran perks that promote a certain playstyle "uhhh but it's efficient"
-
@Wolf74 said:
"Tunneling" is just a social combat term to stigmatize playing efficient and remove part of the team early by using peer pressure.
Enduring is SPECIFICALLY made to counter stun effects and you want to exclude the only perk that survivor can use to stun the killer? Are you serious?
(Oh sorry, I forgot the new Head on)
DS shouldn't count as a normal stun as it plays the animation of you getting off the killers back; which isn't affected by enduring under normal circumstances.
-
@Yamaoka said:
That second chance perk shouldn't even be in the game just like noed. I'm glad it's pretty much useless against enduring and I sincerely hope they will not make any changes.
I'd be fine with that if it didn't completely invalidate a perk (that can only be used once) with minimal effort. No skill counters like that shouldn't exist.

I face camp survivors that do that. So they can be salty at the end of the game. Good times.
Lol. I've had killers that only get me because they face camp the entire game. Wastes so much time

Look I didn’t get beat in just amazed that totems still spawn next to objectives it’s crazy they’ve been working on it for ages yet still totems spawn in obvious places. Look I’m not saying they favor survivors I’m saying there’s no point in using a hex perk when they don’t hide well. Also since update I’ve had survivors spawn on my totem 4 games in a row I just stopped using them not gonna have it anyway so I might as well get use out of the slot.
I understand it's a problem. I don't run hexes because of it. I'm not sure how high on their list of fixes this is but itll hopefully come out soon
And also "I know it’s because you WANT this game fun only for SURVIVOR"...you literally said this.
-
Usually being someone who doesnt like how toxic the killer mains on here are.
-
This game has graphics in comparison to OG Wizard 101 and you think theyll support ultra wide anytime soon; despite the large number of more important issues that need fixing?
-
It combos well with perks like coulrophobia, unnerving, infectious fright, etc.
On it's own its useless; but when combined with other perks I've found it can be gnarly
-
I like how the 3 of us have Legion profile pictures
-
Someone got crushed by one of the worst killers using one of the most counterable perks in the game

Are you kidding me

Well, I did always say that if the game got harder and survivors actually had to try to survive, then survival rates would spike, since they'd be less overconfident and less likely to make the mistakes that turn a 1k into a 4k.
I kinda want this game to be more difficult. It's kind of boring playing as a survivor unless you come up with ideas like this
-
It avoids a hit once (it only works once per trial) and to my understanding it doesnt give you a sprint burst after the hit unlike borrowed time.
I dont see why people are complaining either. they've given it so many handicaps and its not even out
-
The skill gap has gotten significantly smaller I agree
-
Nah
It's fine how it is. If the killers you're going against slug and you find it annoying just run Unbreakable or No Mither. You either get up or they're forced to carry you which let's you pop decisive
-
@GrootDude said:
Thank you for actually running anti-slug perks, first survivor I’ve seen say this.
Its time for anti slug to come back
These perks were left in the dark but they have risen once more

Addons are usually either useless or overpowered. A lot of them need buffs, massive nerfs or reworks
-
I really would love autodidact to wwork with kits. Would let me get more skill checks.
However autodidact when at 5 tokens is a full heal with one skill check its hilariously good when it works but outside of that it sucks. I think it needs a rework.
Solidarity should work with medkits already dont know why it doesnt. Healing has already been nerfed

Yes they've received nerfs but nothing in comparison to killers.

You forgot to count fixing Infinites as a nerf, in your list of broken/game breaking trollish shits.

It's all good, at least it show that there is no need for peoples to waste their time talking about balance with you.
I didnt talk about infinites because those shouldn't have existed. Not saying everything I mentioned wasnt justified but no one seems to realize how much survivors have gotten nerfed

And you know this how? Do you have the power of foresight? People are acting on the information that is available, and not some idealized scenario they've made up in their heads and pretended is reality.
More often than not people over react to things that sound powerful on paper but aren't in practice; hence the reaction head on got when it was announced. I saw things like "head on: new DS?" Around here a ton
Guess what? It sucks.
-
The overreactions I've seen to a perk that isnt even going to be as ludicrous as people say are quite funny to me.
-
You didnt have to put everything in bold. I feel like I'm being yelled at :(

the vomit range is pretty annoying; mainly when its the red vomit, the green being far is whatever. Not a fan of the hitting multiple survivors with red vomit in one go because it feels like cannibal chainsaw when someones on hook; free camping mechanic really since red fountains are basically freebies when playing against her.
I mean fountains also heal you all the way to healthy in almost less than half the time it takes to heal normally
It's a give and take thing
-
It's similar to throwing hatchets except it's like a stream of puke. I've seen it go insane distances though
-
Shouldnt you be attacking from a distance instead of getting close enough to get looped? Even then it seems like a player problem; just like how huntress can hatchet through loops

And like I said, I switch killers and roles at random intervals, with the exception of the Nurse and the Nightmare, whom I avoid playing. I don't have a main.
Well, okay.
-
@Orion said:
I don't play Nurse nor Nightmare. Besides those two, I switch between killers and roles at random intervals.
I didnt say you play nightmare. I'm just wondering who your main is if you have one. Some killers have a much harder time at the end game than others
-
Who do you play primarily? I wanna say Nurse but you never know

Regardless, survivors not coming back for each other is rare.
And in the event they do they can be punished if you play well. It's not that hard in all honesty.
-
Old DS was more accessible than this one. 35% is pretty small on the wiggle timer

On the rare occasions I do run NOED, survivors just hang around, find it, break the totem, then unhook anyway.
Good for you that survivors don't teabag you at the exit gates. That's not the experience of the majority of players.
Never said they dont t-bag me so I don't know where you got that from.
-
@Orion said:

Suppose I do hook them. Then someone else can just come along with BT and unhook them. I have to hit the new guy all over again while the other one gets away. Rinse and repeat until someone dies, or until they all come bodyblocking and I can't do #########, because 90% of survivors (in my experience) will never leave through the exit gates unless you chase them out.
So why dont you run perks like NOED or just...get good? Lol. I'm a rank 5 killer and rarely will survivors stay and wait for me to show up. In fact half the time survivors dont come back for their friends. If they do I just go for the rusher because they're easier to attack than the guy on the BT timer.
If they outsmart me that's on me. Not the survivors being broken.
-
@George_Soros said:
@Kagrenac it is a problem if you add the slowdown from charging, and cancelling when necessary. I guess they didn't want to make her too effective. Seems like a big hindrance to me, but it's too early to say.
To be fair she can make it easier for survivors to get infected by just puking on objects, objectives, etc.
As for corrupt purge...you probably shouldn't be trying to charge it from a greater distance than at a loop with a survivor
-
@Orion said:

They both take 2 hits to go down, but (presumably), only one is on their death hook.
Hitting a survivor while they're unhooking still makes them injured, I don't often condone camping but if you really want that kill and the exit gates are open theres no point in not camping
-
@Orion said:

I think it's hardly fair to have killers unable to get the only kill they're able to get in the end-game, yet here we are. Besides, in my experience, BT is used by hook rushers more often than not.
I mean you could just go for the person rushing...considering you know...he doesn't have an extra hit
-
@Orion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/374932#Comment_374932
I think it's a good thing that hook rushers are no longer able to hook rush with impunity.
It's not good that a perk isn't working. Also the person rushing should be getting punished anyway. Hooked survivors have no choice in whether or not they want to be unhooked.
-
BT is bugged right now. Tunnelers will have fun until a hotfix gets put out.
-
@Orion said:

They are balanced. From a kill rate perspective, against a sweaty tryhard SWF, an equally tryhard Nurse or Billy will achieve a 50% kill rate.
All these nerfs come at the expense of solo players. As someone who plays solo survivor more often than SWF, theres no point in trying anymore.
-
I'll commonly heal at the gate or heal others for extra points anyway. Survivors dont get much BP outside of repair and altruism
