These buffs would work for all killers and are not specific to any killers kit.
Note that all of these at the same time would be OP but some can be used and these are just ideas that can be used, stacked or scrapped.

    1) 5th perk slot dedicated to a hex perk. This perk slot, instead of being unlocked at level 10, 15 and 20, would be unlocked as soon as you unlock your first Hex Perk. This slot can only be used for Hexes. Other slots can still have Hexes.
    (Function: Increased match length)

    2) Remove the perks Knock Out and Deerstalker, and make them default.
You really have to wonder why the killer, who put the survivor in the dying state needs a perk to see where they are, meanwhile the survivors need a perk to NOT be able to see where other survivors are that could be a whole ass mile away from them.
I can understand this as balance when the game came out but things have changed.
If survivors want to see dying survivors, they can run empathy. For Cinnimon sake, infinate range should be a meta perk.
(Function: Incresed Killer map and croud control)

    3) Sweeping attack that can hit multiple survivors. If survivors are going to croud around you like they own you, you need to have options to punish them. Holding sift while attacking should let you do a heavy attack. The weapon swing is longer, but the body lunge is shorter. It moves slower and has increased successfull and missed cooldown, but can hit every survivor in its arc. It would be an overall time saver.
    (Function: More Killer croud control)

    4) Default Terror radius debuffs
. Longer to recover from negative statis effects
.Small noises made when scared similer but quieter and less periodic than being injured
    .More frequent/harder skillchecks
    .Increased healong time
(Note that perks like unnerving presence and Colurophobia would still preform their functions but to a greater extent)
    (Function: Increase killer fear factor)

I agree with all but 2 and 3. 3 seems to strong, maybe. 2 is just another nerf to solo that makes the solo SWF GAO bigger, and means survivors will be even harder to balance. That is NEVER A GOOD IDEA.

Survivors aren’t a team, they just have a common goal.

Kind of ironic considering SWF exists, devs contradicting themselves. Wouldn't expect anything less.

    Yup.

Trapper: Increase base traps he can hold at a time up to 2 from 1, Adjust bag add-ons to allow him to carry 2->3, and 2->4
Make the animation apart of the setting time making it a proper 3 seconds down from 5
Traps on the ground spawn set
Traps that are sabotaged will give trapper a cumulative 1% to action speed(I.E. Vaulting, Breaking Gen/Pallet, picking up and putting down survivors

Wraith: Every five seconds in cloak wraith will gain a stack of "Shadow Stalk" Increasing his move speed by 2% per stack, with a max stack of 4. While not cloaked these stacks with deteriorate at a rate of 1.25 stack per second, and will lose all stacks when he strikes a survivor

Trapper suggestion sounded perfect. Wraith, just give him + 5% speed to cloaked AND DECLOAKED. So his uncloaked speed is 120% not 115%. Instant top tier.

  • I believe, no matter what system they have, that if 4 survivors have all been chased, and no one ever got hit (perfect escape) double pip should be possible. It isn’t. That’s a problem. A pip isn’t winning, or a reward, irs to help matchmaking. And that killer got straight up stomped, you should be matched with harder killers.

  • @ZombieGenesis said:
I just think a concede option wouldn't be that difficult to implement. Let it kick in X minutes after an end game scenario kicks in (1 survivor left, last gen done, etc).

Or just make it a button.... or pause menu option.

  • @ZombieGenesis said:
You can't compare the two perks. They do different things for different character types. VERDICT.

That’s not how that works, and is a total cop-out.

  • @SovererignKing
    1) The devs want it to shift to simulate the final girl trope. They themselves said the balance should shift. 2) I know I was, it was for hypocrisy’s sake. Let’s scratch this number from the reply chain. 3) 2) The killer CAN find you before you get the hatch, Ive done it tons of times. It’s not as easy as it seems as well. Also, devs (I’m basically using their word like the Bible now aren’t I? Yeah I know it’s annoying) said that if one person goes the selfish route, and makes the UNIFIED goal harder, the SOLO goal should be easier. 3) Was referring to killer interactions, not all. Simple misunderstanding 4) If the hatch is the necessary escape, chances are you didn’t make much pip progress. Also, killer has already won, you can just, if you evade the killer, make it out alive and salvage the game.

  • @ZombieGenesis said:
    None of those are "fixes".
    1) Why should I throw a game just because a survivor thinks they deserve a free win?
    2) Yeah, you try and fine a lone survivor on these maps.
    3) Why should I run one perk for one specific incident?

Not throwing the game, either you killed the other 3 and already won, or vice versa and lost. Also, if they can freely escape anyway, you’re not throwing the game. Next point is true. Third point, well I’m always told the hatch close is fair, and if I want ANY chance to escape I ought to run left behind. Else the killer will patrol so fast he makes any action impossible, holding himself hostage. Perks SHOULD NEVER BE NEEDED.

  • @ZombieGenesis said:
I don't think "everyone" uses it any more. There was a time when they did but I hardly see any killers use it any more.

Besides, usage does not necessarily equate to power. Perks could be run frequently for a number of reasons. They could just be useful (extra BPs from BBQ and Chili), they could help make up for a character's weaknesses (NOED on a killer with no one shot ability or Ruin to slow a game down), or they could just be powerful (SB, SC, DS). Or someone could just like the ability. But for the sake of this discussion we'll talk about perks that are run often by killers/survivors. If a perk is run significantly more often than others it's up to the devs to investigate why and balance accordingly.

If, statistically, WGLF is hardly used at all then the devs need to look at it, other perks in the game, and figure out why. The problem right now is that there are a select few "meta" perks that dominate a survivor's load out. Perks that are so useful and powerful that other perks just do not compare and will not be used as a result. People look at the big three (SB, DS, SC) and then slot in some other perk that fits their play style. Most other survivor perks just don't stand a chance. Maybe that's the problem with WGLF (and most other survivor perks).

Either way, you can't compare WGL and BBQ and Chili. Different perks that accomplish different things. As for whether or not WGLF needs a buff, well, IMO you'd have to get the big 3 under control first and see where everything lands otherwise.

Anyway, my point is...just because something is used often doesn't mean it's OP.

I know tons of people who think WGLF is too weak. Also, it can be compared to BBQ, let’s go. 1) BBQ has easier and less out of the way stacks to get. 2) BBQ has one of the best innate abilities, that’s be a meta perk by itself. VERDICT, WGLF is butt trash compared to BBQ and should be buffed. Lightweight is the strength of predator. Iron will is stronger than strider, but strider effects the heathy. Bitter murmur and dark sense. Perks that are parallels are nearly equal in strength.

Right now WLGF is some alley hobo, BBQ is a snobby rich kid.

So over the course of ten games, you basically [BAD WORD] 9 times. The tenth time, you Kobe, and then what? You’re off the hook, any teammate could’ve done I’d the killer wasn’t camping, if they are camping you are hooked again. So wouldn’t even be that strong if it was a perk to literally just flat out Kobe. It’s probably what most killers wish d-strike was. A solo escape, but the damage has already been done.

    1) freddy basically screwed if there is perk like that.
    2) free escape with adrenaline
    3) no way to fail save at last second, meaning it will ALWAYS be used, if not saved by teammates. Or simply if killer goes away.
    4) more reasons to camp AND not leave the hook, even if you don't see anyone around. Especially with SC.

The only way it would be ok, if it left you not injured but on Borrowed Time health, that will expire in 25 seconds, in my opinion. But even then OP

    1) Buff Freddy. 2) They were able to live to the gates, AND it’s not free, that’s only if they are hooked next to gates, and they are open,. Without a teammate unhooking them next to it, in that case it wouldn’t even matter what gets them off the hook. At least one wastes a meta slot. 3) Yeah, that’s the perk. 4) If they jump off before struggle, it’ll waste even more time for the camper. Also, campers will almost always camp anyway.

  • Also, because apparently trophies matter to you, I have PlayStation platinum

Yet RNG is all over the place for the Killer. Pallets Spawns, Totem Spawns, Windows blocked off or not for HUGE loops, you name it. You want to ######### about RNG not favorable to the Survivor in this case, but what about all the RNG that screws the Killer? What about ENTIRE maps that cuck Killers, like Lery’s for a Nurse? Nah, forget about that. RNG should only screw Killers, never the Survivor right?

All you have been doing this this whole time is whining you don’t have second chances on top of your second chances over and over if closing the hatch comes into play.

You also, like so many damn Survivors only consider Survival as winning. If you really did play well, you pip. Survival is, and should always be, a team effort. Not a lone wolf thing. Why do you think Survivors ######### and moan all the time about team mates not helping? Why would they when there isn’t really any incentive to do so? Seriously, you pip’ed, you already won. What you want is ice cream with your cake. You can’t be happy with just the cake, gotta have more cause you’re greedy.

The Killer played well and did thier damn job and beat the team. You played well and were last alive. However did you even have to DO ANYTHING to be last alive? No, you didn’t. You could just bum out and let everyone else get chased, do gens while they keep the Killer busy, do hook saves when you know it’s safe. You don’t even have to have ANY interaction at all with anything. Just be the best of the worst. Good job. You get a free pass just because other people sucked more than you. Congratulations. How’s that pity ice cream taste?

Again, nothing more than a whiner who wants RNG to favor one side, and ONLY one side.

Oh, and I had some spare time on my hands so I got curious and checked PSN. Hello fellow PS4 player. I wonder what a “90% Killer player’s” trophies look like... hmmm... well that’s odd.

92 Total Trophies available to achieve.
You have 13 Killer Specific Trophies... and 28 Survivor specific trophies. You don’t even have 500 Kills trophy “Feast for the Entity” ... Yet you have 500 Skillchecks preformed as Survivor, 100 heals, 100 Full Repair of Gens.

Yeah, “90% Killer Player” my ass. Might want to hide your trophies before you lie out your ass that you’re not a Bias Survivor Main player mate.

    1) You just want RNG in favor of the killer. That’s the exact thing you want. 2) You are also whining and composing profusely. 3) The devs have said it’s viable to be alone and screw the team, they say whether you chose to be a team, or be selfish is the whole premise of the game. Of course teammates want to live, WHY WOULDNT THEY!? That’s a stupid statement. 4) Not interacting is not always a bad thing.

    5) YOU don’t determine what’s victory. Everyone has what they believe is victory, you don’t determine others.

BBQ is the strongest perk in the game? Hardly. If it didn't give extra BP I wouldn't even run it.

And don't say "Well on Billy/Nurse..." Everything is more effective on Billy and the Nurse because they have inborn and effective ways to end chases.

I knew what I said would be questioned, and I wanted it to. You see, many people tell me about survivor perks “it’s overused, it should be nerfed because everyone uses it. USAGE = OP needs NERF” so seeing how BBQ is the most used perk for killers, I made an irony sandwich. By the way WGLF is not used that often. Not even close to the frequency of what BBQ is.

Maybe a timer. When the exit gates are open and only 1 survivor is left a 2 minute timer starts and if they don't escape in these 2 minutes they get sacrificed

Powered? Or completely open? Also groups would still BM. Also it makes no sense in the lore. Just make a concede option.

Also keep in mind that the 4% chance to kobe from the hook, comes with a 96% chance that you'll not only cut your time on the hook at least in half

Do I need to teach you math?
4% base chance * 3 times = 11.5% escape from hook. Which means 88.5% chance of failing.
4% base chance * 6 times (slippery meat) = 21.7%. And 81.3% chance to fail.

11% is not a small number by any means. 21.7% is big.
Add to that fact, that you still have struggling phase of the hook.

Survivors should really learn the math first before playing the game

So over the course of ten games, you basically ######### 9 times.

  • I killed at least 80% of survivors that tried the hatch on me when I was six or billy, thing is, you can catch them after you find the hatch. Did you know are actually able to move once you find the hatch? Never camp it, that is THE worst decision you have. You can find the person before they find the hatch. As killer, you shouldn’t try to find hatch, you should try to find the survivor, it’s literally just common sense. You guys are WILLINGFULLY throwing away your chance of killing the last guy. Also, if they should just run left behind, maybe you should just run whispers.

  • It’s just the standard “go to this website so you can get your credit card and identity stolen!” Shtique. Nothing special

    thesuicidefox said:

You are wrong simply because you think hatch is a free escape. It's not. Survivors did at least 2 gens. And only 1 gets to take the hatch unless they have a key. It's not free.

If the hatch spawned near me then the end result would still be the same: I escape. Keep in mind despite the location of the hatch spawn, I still came out the winner in that situation. But if they could close the hatch WITHOUT RISK then I would have definitely lost because of RNG. But as a killer if the RNG favors the survivor you STILL have 3 kills. Also you forget that she knew where the hatch was, and killed the third guy only because of it. Had the hatch spawned elsewhere she probably would have let the guy bleed out more. My point was that RNG can go both ways and you can't balance one side exclusively for it.

You also can't seriously think that she DESERVES to kill me do you? I did 2 full gens by myself, plus I worked on another. I had 3 or 4 saves. She NEVER CAUGHT ME ONCE all game, the hatch standoff was the longest she had her eyes on me the entire game. In no way should she just get a free kill on me by closing the hatch. She camped the basement all game. Why should she get the kill? Tell me, please I'd like to know. What right does she have to kill me when I'm clearly better at the game.

She still Killed three. It doesn’t matter how she played the match. She still did well by Killing three. Regardless of how she did it, she did it. Why is it that one person on the team is rewarded for the failure of the team? You included on that team. How would you feel if the Killer did poorly and three others escaped before you, but the last person gets locked into the trial and can’t leave unless they find the hatch first? If they find it after the Killer, they lose automatically.

The hatch is already a mercy mechanic. As a Killer I already beat the team. I already found the hatch before you did. Exactly how many hoops do I have to jump through, how well do I have to play, what do I have to do to earn that last Kill? Speaking of, what about that Survivor who literally does nothing all game and doesn’t help. Just hides out and let’s everyone else do all the work and grabs the hatch?

I’ll say again, how many hoops do I as the the Killer, have to jump through to be granted the power of choosing to grant Mercy or not?

Your RNG argument is invalid because the moment the hatch opens it equal opportunity to whoever finds it first. It only becomes one sided to whomever finds it first. Even then, doing a Gen to reopen it or power the gates is still an option. You want the hatch to be one sided from the get go in favor of the Survivors, punishing a Killer for actually playing well and Killing three. Don’t bother with the bullshit excuses of campers/tunnelers/bad teammates. The Killer did their job, like it or not.

What you want is a bullshit game mechanic that turns the game from a 4v1 balance, to a 1v1 balance at the bottom of the 9th for no other reason than entitlement. You may simply be the best of the worst, doesn’t mean you’re good. If she was busy with others, that’s not her fault. Simple predator/prey interaction. Pick off the weaker ones first, then go for the stronger ones.

Devs say truth, as is the killer holy grail that camping is a strategy. As such, devs have also said survivors aren’t a team, they just have a common goal, and that it’s perfectly okay to screw the entire team, and let em die for the hatch. Your argument regarding team is now moot.

Two perks are guaranteed to show up in each bloodweb, so after a point you get guaranteed higher and higher rarity because the low rarity ones are out of the pool. And if each bloodweb has a certain rarity distribution, that'd mean once you get to a point where you have ONLY ultra rare perks left to get you might not get any ultra rare add-ons, because the perks eat up that ultra rarity value. And considering this would be a point where the character should be getting better loot anyway, you are just trading better quality loot for the... appearance that a perk is ultra rare (when it's not, it's more a matter of time than anything).

I’m sorry, but a bunch of numbers and letters copied and pasted doesn’t tell me much...

  • Any SWF nerf in game that effects solo players too, like speed, or blocking should instantly be thrown out the window, it won’t cut it, and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.

Extremely easy solution. Give solo people comms (killer CAN NOT hear it, and none of that proximity bullshit) and then nerf survivors. Done

  • I hate BOTH sides made up rules. Survivors salt about this or that, killers face camp for literally anything. (I’m fine with camping strategically, but if it’s because you’re mad, I lose all respect I could’ve had for you.) Both sides deal with it, both sides hate it, it’s there’s 4 survivors so you deal with complaints far more.

it's really good as anti-camping "bribe".
with #2 problem: killer will always travel to nearest gen.
with tokens: it becomes obsolete as anti-camping

what I would suggest is to make it more powerful, as in not 25% but 30-35 or even 50%.
It would be powerful but the condition to use it is also powerful enough: you have to give free escape to survivor. Honestly 25% on gen for free escape is not much, and this thread proves it. It does not feel rewarding enough for killer to leave the hook sometimes (most often - first hook, right?)

I leave hook anyway, so this perk just makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Honestly isn’t not anti-camp, it’s more, people who ALREADY don’t camp get rewarded. Campers view unhooking as bad, and will always think of it as such. I love it when someone is unhooked fast.

Better yet, type in your browser, does ignorant mean rude. Tell me the results.

They said in a couple weeks. Hopefully this week or next week will have it. Ignore these ignorant people.

It’s ignorant to call them ignorant because ignorant is to not know something, and they know they simply give the route give the answer and you call them ignorant which is ignorant because that’s not the right word to use.

Was that message disgusting enough to read?

yep if you're using it as an adjective way...which i CLEARLY was not..and you even knew that..lol

Give me a picture of the dictionary excerpt. Willingful ignorance on my part is overpowered and should be nerfed

I, along with others, find it almost like a middle finger to another person. It’s like the roles have been reversed with survivors in control of everything and the killer powerless, more often than not, I purposely look away from the exit, walk backward, and get a hit afterwards so I never see the t bagging at all. It also seems like they’re extending the game longer than it needs to be. Whenever I see survivors at the exit gates, I’ll just go destroy pallets to get points, and when’s i get back, all I see are the survivors waiting and Tbagging. From my past experiences playing games, it has always been an insult to the other team. It has never been a joke to the opposing side and I don’t think it ever will

I don’t view it as a middle finger, because it isn’t, it’s “can I have your own mind hurt you trying to think of what I intend with this anonymous t-bag from someone on the internet that you don’t know and can never make a personal statement about that you should ever value.” Just don’t view it as an insult, I don’t, and I’m never bothered. So why do you get insulted by it? No seriously, think deep down and think about it.

I don't think AFK should be bannable. At best it's a free pip (if you manage to do enough gens), at worst it's a safety. Also free loot from chests, and free BP from totems and Boldness (which I think you still get from lullaby). It's kinda dumb, but killer isn't holding the game hostage and they aren't hurting anyone but themselves.

That said, I will still report you and block you so I never have to deal with you again. Let BHVR figure out if you deserve punishment or not, I'll take my safety/free pip, 10k BP, and flashlight I found in the basement.

With no he’s totems, and wraith in a corner, the survivors will de-pip. Only one not to de-pip is if someone dies almost all the gens. You get bronze benevolence, and iri unbroken. With that you need gold lightbringer to pip. Someone’s gonna de-pip. Which just shows why such an action should never be allowed.

All killers run at 115% speed. Only exceptions to this rule are Hag, Huntress, and Nurse. (And EW1 Myers)

Jesus, your dreaming they don't, 1 trapper, 2 Michael Myers, Leatherface hillbilly without the chainsaw are the fastest without perks and with them they are like freight trains ready to run you down,

I get that English isn't your first language, so I'm going to give you a pass on this one.

I'm talking about their default walking speed, not their lunge or p

I get it your a RACIST and white thinking that your comment is funny but it's insulting, my ancestors all was born on this side of the world you and yours are illegal aliens did you know that Britain let go all the criminals they had in jail and send them here to my country so most likely your grand parents was all degenerate criminals and the sins of the fathers are pass down to their children that why you are you to this day, and that's why you think your better and your not your just a loser like the rest of us, more so I'm going to give you a pass on this one just one insult you get just one, ok I heard about in-breeding I see it now have a nice day God bless you

I’m gonna day what everyone WANTS to say to you.

You are a complete, and utter JOKE! You have no idea what you’re talking about. You have no recourse, and can’t even form an intelligent argument beyond, “what I say is true because my ego is massive”. You are a racist that pulled the race card (seriously that’s downright pathetic, you should be ashamed of yourself). Now why don’t you never do what you did again? Also, because I can’t help but plunder irony, if he’s a white person, and that makes him bad because “sins of the father” doesn’t that mean it’s not the devs fault the game is bad? And if it is, doesn’t that mean you are just single hand-idly throwing those accusations because you are cornered?

Cease and Dissist at once. And I dare you to try the race card on me, and figure out what race I am.

Actually in context it was being used as meaning discourteous or rude, which is exactly what they were so the word was used correctly

That’s actually not a true definition, just one the US used in their culture. Ignorant, truly only has 1 meaning. Now you are less ignorant about the word. The word isn’t a negative thing like people think, more like a student searching for answers. Isn’t culture weird?

Only thing strange is how you say culture but then dismis one in an attempt to prove your argument which is still wrong!

I was referring to aforementioned. Although I could’ve of worded it a bit better. Just look up a dictionary.

I don't think it's about @swenpai being stubborn. For all we know the survivors were teasing, taunting and teabagging him at any stage during the match. So for him at that very moment it's a much bigger deal to just simply let the survivor go. Then would come the post game insults of "ez" etc, just to further humiliate. It depends on the individual really. We have all been there.

As for a solution, I think you just need to be a bit more patient for the hatch closing mechanic to be fully implemented @swenpai. I think it worked well in the PTB.

    Oh, thank you. :)

Now I know what happened, I tell you this, hit him immediately and he goes in the hatch. Do it. Why? Well 1) he already reached... but more importantly 2) he’s t-baggging for a reason. I just ignore it but sometimes others can’t. He has a MASSIVE EGO. He WILL WAIT. And he WANTS you to wait and suffer as well. Hitting him instantly makes him lose this mental battle. If he insults you after, or says EZ......

    Then you know you won.

  • The fact that it could take 5,000 hours (low balling that number btw) to unlock the “80%”, I don’t think you can just silly billy say “well it’s a grind”. That is a straight up SLOG. I’m a completionist, so I want all non-dlc stuff. No way I’m getting this stuff. I’ve dunped probably close to 5k hours on dbd, but that was when I was REALLY into the game, like really passionate. I can’t do that entire thing again, just for some recolors.
