It depends on what you find fun. I find it immensely enjoyable to fly under the radar and never letting the killer find me while I rescue, cleanse totems, search chests and fix generators.
Getting chased by a killer of similar skill is also fun. I'm bad, so against a rank 1 killer, it's miserable, especially since I can't mind game. But when you get better at the game and know how to chain loops together, wasting the killers time while your teammates finish objectives is very satisfying.
As a new player, start of playing with Spine Chill and Inner Strength if you have Nancy unlocked. Level them both up on Claudette, since Claudette is the Best. Learn how to take advantage of LoS (line of sight) by hiding behind objects and trees, or even in bushes and stay out of the killers sight. Just don't be useless to your team. Work on gens and totems. Rescue them when you can and even take the heat off of them if you haven't been hooked and they have. Once you get used to stealth, start practicing looping. You will die a lot, but its part of the game.
Watch YouTube videos that teach how to loop. It is more than just running in circles. Also, play some killer, doing so will teach you about their different weaknesses and reveal to you how strong survivors really are.

I can't tell you how many times I have taken out survivors who are tea bagging. Using NOED and Blood Warden together works well for this kind of thing. One of the most entertaining times was just the other day while I was playing as Myers and killed the survivor with Tier 3 Evil Within.
That’s what he gets for wearing that ugly shirt!

Usually at 3 PM. I used to have 30sec queues at that time.
Before the test, my killer queues were 5+minutes, now they're instant. It might be that you are better at killer and therefore have to wait a little longer to get survivors that are close to your skill level.

It's a gold toolbox that appear on every map, isn't pickable.
Are you sure it's every map? I thought it was just every realm had one, but not all the maps in that realm may have it. I could be wrong, it's been a long time since I looked into it.

It was so weird to see him in a serious role but yeah I wouldn't mind him as a legendary skin
I actually remember him from Lethal Weapon 4 whenever I see him. Yes, I'm old.

All I see is a void waiting to answer my call of pspspspspsps

For a second, I thought I was going to say hell no, because I misread that as Trapper and not Tapp. And being a big fan of Trapper and his marvelous physique, I took offense that you'd want to change him with a new cosmetic. But after calming down and rereading what you wrote, I agree, It would be nice to get Chris Rock in this game.
-
You just need a break from killer all together and just become part of the ever expanding Bush. As things are now, you will grow more and more tired of playing killer as you will find fault with each one that you play with. You will wallow in despair and fall deep into boredom. Fret not! The Bush calls to all! It welcomes all! You will find everlasting bliss once you accept its warm embrace and take part from its exquisite fruit.

Well I still just find it weird that they "accidentally" leaked the killer before ptb.
It's not weird at all, they just got tired of all the incessant Fnaf posts and "accidentally" leaked it so they'd get them to stop posting.
-
From my understanding, it was really good in the past but got nerfed because it made finding survivors extremely difficult.
I don't think it would work with todays game, it would probably melt everyones graphics cards with all the new spaghetti code that's been added since then.
-
Nun killer when?
-
Mines would look like this but with pink meat hooks in the middle instead of the evil crone drinking tea.

He’s gonna be the next Hag and there will be endless survivor tears flooding the forums for the next two months.

Actually, it's rated T for teen. If it was solely marketed for children specifically, it'd be given the rating E for everyone. Grown adults have played it, streamed it, so it's not just for kids. A large base attracted to it is children but the rating is still T.
Teenagers are still considered as children in most cultures as well as most laws. My post never denied adults play it, it just pointed out lots of children play it and it is marketed towards children, hence all the toys in the toy isles at shopping centers.

I think it’s kill each one 25 times. The other two are Queen Claudette and Cutie Pie Jake.

I wouldn't be letting my child play fnaf. Because it isn't meant for children to play. It's about a man killing children and stuffing them in animatronics
Doesn’t change the fact that it is marketed towards children and that children play it.
-
I mean, it makes sense. This game is filled with children, as well as adults who behave like children, and FNAF is a children’s game marketed towards children.
-
We really won’t know until they do an official reveal. It’s most likely Hellraiser with the evidence we got, but it could be something else. If it is Hellraiser, perhaps they want to build up more hype so people can start talking about it and forget about the horrible releases the last few chapters were.

But to stay on topic with the thread, I don’t think he’ll be better at camping personally but I can see him being oppressive on terms of chase. It’s one of the reasons I hate Hag.
Ok, sorry, after the last post before this, I won't go off topic.

Ok, I’ll confess. I started playing as her a lot again lately and honestly kind of had the Yui effect I had when I started playing her a lot but on Claudette. I read her lore and she relates to me a lot being a laid back human but more outgoing on forums and things like that. I got her P3 level 50 now and I’m really starting to love her now.
You’ve convinced me, you have have been a good influence on me. Yet she has always been special to me anyway because I played her a lot when I was new but I didn’t really recognize it until a few days ago.
Is it bad having six DBD waifus btw? I mean they are just fictional characters so they probably won’t mind lol.
No, spread the love! As long as you have a spot for Claudette in your heart, I'm happy. You should really get her new hair cosmetic, heck, is there a way I could gift it to you, I don't mind spending the five bucks for you to bask in her cuteness!
I actually haven't read much of her lore. I think my issue is, for the first time in my life, I've actually started role playing with her, but actually projecting my personality into her when I do and I just got attached to her. I don't know if that makes sense, I don't care either, I love her either way.

In my opinion, here's what he needs:
-2 trap capacity, starts with 1. Giving him all his traps base could lead to him being able to lock down an area much too easily, and be absolutely miserable to go against.
-Traps spawn closer to the center of the map. No traps spawning in corners.
-Injured survivors caught in a trap get Deep Wounds when freed by another survivor, and downed if they free themselves.
-Thicker grass.
I maintain that the reworked maps' grass was a colossal nerf for Trapper, because of how short and light it is. If it were made darker, or the blades of grass themselves were made taller and traps weren't as blindingly obvious when hidden in grass, I think he'd be a lot better to play.
It's probably more work than they'd want to put in, but I think Traps should be tinted to a color similar to whatever the color the maps ground is. So if it's Ormond, the traps would be whitish gray, and if it was The Game, they'd be more concrete gray.

Being a great camper isn't a viable strategy and I don't think they should factor that in when balancing
Most every camper loses the game, provided the teammates have any game sense.
It depends on the situation and your opponents. If they're an altruistic swf, camping can be the best choice, especially if he gets one in the basement. Camping should definitely be factored into a killers balance since most people hate facing it. The Devs need to consider the fun for both sides when designing killer powers and if they can reduce the chance in which camping would be utilized, without making the killer weak and boring to play, they should.
-
I don't really know much about the Devs, and even though I've been pissed at them in the past (I'm overly emotional and need therapy), I love them for giving me this game. It's really been the most entertaining, while also the most frustrating, game I've ever played and wish them all the best. I hope his future endevours are successful and his future game becomes as fun as this one.

Umm ok yeah. About that…
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2424462#Comment_2424462
…yeah…I agree. Those can be very good buffs to him.
Did the new hair cosmetic lure you to a new waifu?
As for Trapper, he needs a buff, but they can't do too much since he has the potential to become overly oppressive and worse than Bubba when it comes to camping. Removing the bag add-ons and making Purple Bag base kit while introducing new add-ons that will add a risk to disarming traps (other than hurting them since we have Bloody Coil), would be nice. Maybe make someone who disarms a trap reveal their location for 15 seconds or Trapper gains Undetectable for 30 seconds when they do it. Something to spice up the match and not boring like, here you go, an extra trap!
-
After getting that out of my system.......They better have considered buffing Trapper! It's one of the few reasons I'm hanging on to this game. He's the most fun to play for me, I just wish matches were a little more fair with him.
I hope it's a decent buff of giving him 3 traps and faster setting speed as well as faster trap pick up speed.

If your doing it on steam it is a two step process. You need to add the funds to your wallet. Then you need to use those funds to purchase the auric cells. Did you do the second step?
Thank you so much, I literally figured it out about 30 seconds ago! You are correct. I didn't realize that I only added funds to Steam at first. I was just getting impatient. I now have my lovely hair style!

Maybe getting the license is more difficult that we thought. Or maybe they got the license for Hellraiser a good while ago and it’s just ready to be released? Maybe it’s because the license holder is difficult to work with and want to be overly controlling or charge more than Behaviour want to pay? Maybe they can’t think of a good power for him? It could be they have acquired the license and they’re working on it and are just not ready to release it.
It’s possible that they want the new movie to come out first, in order for fans to be hyped and then release it for the game and get new fans interested in DbD. Not having a character in DbD doesn’t mean the devs don’t want them, it just means there are issues that have to be dealt with.

Scratched Mirror and BK Myers are actually 2 different things. Scratched Mirror Myers uses the Scratched Mirror add on to trade all of the effects of Tier 2 or 3 for 32m aura reading at will and retains permanent undetectable and being (just barely) faster than Survivors. Burger King Myers uses the Vanity Mirror and Judith's Tombstone to make himself slower than Survivors and not even really get any aura reading out of the deal.
Scratched Mirror is a meme build that can be brutally effective on smaller maps and indoor maps.
BK Myers is a self torture build that I don't understand why anyone would run it.
Why is it called Burger King tho? I knew about everything else, I just never understand the name.

Damn, am i really the only one who is enjoying this?
It seems people don’t want a challenge when playing this game and would rather have matches where they can easily curb stomp their opponents.
All of my matches gave me teammates similar in skill and the killers I faced were more varied from the usual Wraith, Wraith, Spirt, Wraith, Blight, Wraith and Wraith selection that I normally get. Sure they still camp and tunnel, but now that my teammates don’t throw themselves at the hook, we actually escape rather than give the killer a 4K.

Thank you so much! I am honored to read this.
Know that your posts are much appreciated and that it is you who honors me by considering me as one of your favorite posters <3
It saddens me that the game is no longer enjoyable for you and I do hope the Devs do something that sparks interest in you or at least brings back Old Freddy in some way.
-
Its a bug, there is another one on Ormond.
-
I don't care if it means matches are more fair and that my opponent isn't way above or below me to where I'll get curb stomped at 5 gens or deal out the curb stomping. I just want fun and fair matches.
-
They always assume it is FNAF every time teasers for the next chapter come out.
-
I probably have 3k hours in survivor, and it isn't that tunneling is bad, it is just frustrating to be on the receiving end of it. It's not fun to sit and wait on a hook, wondering if anyone will come for the rescue, only for someone to get to me right before I get to second stage or even reach second stage, only to get put back on the hook 5 seconds later.
I don't judge or complain about the killer though, since I understand that it really is the best way to pressure gens. I suggest you just ignore everyone else who cries or attack killers for using it, they're just mad that they didn't have their way.

Doc loves survs who try this...
As long as he isn't running Iron Maiden, he isn't difficult to hide from. He is also very rare to face these days.
@OP, I just got the challenge in my first try. It was against a Ghostface on a corn map. We had one good random looper and two other people were on the same challenge, so they knew to do gens together. Just be sneaky as much as possible.
